SUBJECT-M/L with focus on Alex and Kyle. Other cc couples.

RATING- PG-13/R No this isn't a NC-17 fic, but this is a dark fic so beware before reading.

SUMMARY- This takes place after Baby It's You. Let me be honest with you. I live in the land of denial along with Kayarra(Sweetchica228) and April(Rainydayinapril). We believe that Max and Tess didn't have sex and that there is no baby. So it starts off with Max believing he is the father and that they must leave Earth, but something about the entire fiasco doesn't seem right. Max finds himself unable to control what he says and his actions. He knows somethings wrong and he turns to Liz for help. Meanwhile Tess has been mindwarping Kyle because he keeps remembering that Alex was in his room the night he was killed. Poor Kyle begans to change and then mindwarp begans to take it's toll? Tess sees Max turning to Liz and this angers her. The mindwarp begans and Liz begans to think and do things that she never thought possible is suicide peeking through for Liz? Or will they discover Tess's evil doings before they leave Planet Earth and people die? DISCLAIMER- BLAH BLAH BLAH You know the drill.

PART ONE

Max walked into the Crashdown feeling a million of things at once. He was angry and disappointed in himself for sleeing with Tess and for getting her pregnant. He was hopeful and scared about finding out last night that him, Michael, Isabel, and Tess could go home. What was home? As far as he was concerned it had always been Earth, but maybe he was just fooling himself. Maybe believing that he belonged on Earth was only because he wanted to be....human. He was scared of his alien side. It made think and do things that he was uncomfortable with. Max rubbed the back of his neck and sighed as he sat down in the usual booth. He sat back and watched the waitresses run back and forth throughout the restaurant. Max glanced around the Crashdown, knowing that he might never see it again. Roswell would become a distant memory. Something of the past.

Liz had finished an order when she glanced up and saw Max sitting at a booth. At first she was angry and hurt, but those feelings quickly wore off. Something about him seemed so innocent and vulnerable. Liz closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath as she slowly approached the table. She was going to take his order and then walk away. Take his order and walk away. Liz nodded and then put on a fake smile as she stood before him. " Hi what can I get you?"

Max glanced up at Liz and sighed. He wasn't sure why, but for some reason he suddenly became very angry. Before he was able to comprehend what he was feeling, words began leaving his mouth. Max didn't want to say them, but it was if he didn't have any control. " Well Liz don't you look nice."

" Um thank you."

" That is when you aren't accusing people of murder." Liz let her hands fall to her side. She then whispered.

" I never accused you."

" Oh so you have a new theory."

" Max your not making any sense." Max nodded over to Maria.

" Where was Maria at the time of the accident?"

Max stood up and raised his voice as he yelled across the restaurant. " Hey Maria. Where were you when Alex was killed? Maria are you an alien?"

Maria's eyes widened. She then glanced back at Michael who looked just as confused as she was.

Max shrugged his shoulders and then turned back to Liz. His face was emotionless and his eyes were dark and cold. " Sorry Liz. I guess it's not Maria. She's not an alien that I know of."

" Max shut up!"

" What am I bothering you?" Liz bit her lip and shook her head.

" Why are you doing this?"

" Doing what Liz? I just want to find out the truth."

" Max stop it!" Liz sighed and then began walking away from Max.

He quickly reached out and grabbed her arm, bringing her back to him. He then whispered, " Don't play with fire Liz. You just might get burned." Liz glared at Max.

" Let go of me."

Max shook his head. What was happening? Why in the hell did he say all of those things and why was he hurting Liz? Max quickly let go of Liz and gulped. It seemed that the entire restaurant was staring at him.

Liz eyed Max. What had just happened? As she looked into his eyes she was under the impression that he was just as confused as she was by his actions.

Max looked to the ground and sighed. He then gulped and and ran out of the Crashdown Cafe.

Michael called Maria back. " What's with him?" Maria shook her head.

" I have no idea."

Liz threw her order book down on the table and removed her apron as she walked into the employee part of the Crashdown. She leaned back against the wall and said, " I'm going to find out what really happened to Alex and is what wrong with Max. That's a promise."

LIZ'S BEDROOM~

Liz was sitting at her computer researching on Sweden when there was a knock at her door. " Come in. " Liz said, but she didn't bother to leave the computer screen until an all too familiar voice caught her attention. " Hey babe." Liz smiled and then turned around.

" Hey Maria. What's up?"

" Nothing really."

" Maria?"

" Well actually there was something." Liz eyed Maria waiting for an explanation. Maria nodded and then sat down across from Liz. " What was with you and Max this morning?" Liz shook her head no.

" I don't know Maria. That's what I've been trying to figure out. I mean it's like it wasn't even him."

" Liz what are you talking about?"

" Maria, Max would never speak to me like that. That Max I know wouldn't."

" Well you did kind of piss him off at Alex's funeral." Liz looked to the ground. Even the mention of Alex's name brought a pile of grief and sorrow.

Maria quickly changed the subject. " I mean with you accusing them."

" See that's the thing. I didn't say it was them personally."

" I know. So what are you going to do?"

Liz nodded and then stood up and walked over to her dresser pulling out a notebook. She then tucked a strand of hair back behind her ear and continued, " You see Maria I have been making a list of things that have been going on within the last couple of weeks that were out of the ordinary. One of them was how Max was acting. I mean his attitude, and not to mention he is a lot more careless and physical."

" What are you saying? That someone is controlling his mind?"

Liz's eyes widened. She quickly grabbed her jacket and turned to Maria. " I need you to give me a ride."

" Where?"

" Come on. I'll tell you on the way." Maria shrugged her shoulders and followed Liz down the stairs.

THE VALENTI'S HOUSE~

Kyle was sitting on the couch watching a taped football game and eating potato chips with his dad when Tess came walking in. " Hey guys!" Kyle and Valenti nodded towards Tess and then turned their attention back to the football game.

Tess rolled her eyes and laughed. " Figures. Can you guys get anymore pathetic?" Kyle and Valenti didn't answer her. Tess sighed and then strolled into her bedroom. She was careful with each step seeing how she was " pregnant " with Max's child. Tess had been faking it for so long that she herself was beginning to believe it. Maybe it was for the best that everyone believed that she was pregnant. In the end it would do more good than bad. Tess smiled and decided to create some excitement. She waved her hand over her body and then fell to the floor screaming Kyle's name.

Kyle rolled his eyes and then looked to his dad. " Can you pause it? I think Tess is calling me." Valenti was about to respond, but another one of Tess's call interrupted him. It then occurred to both of them that Tess was in trouble. Kyel and Valenti quickly jumped off of the well worn couch and ran down the hall to Kyle's former room, now Tess's.

Valenti opened the bedroom door to see Tess lying on the floor, holding her stomach. It was obvious to them that she was in pain. Valenti bent down and lifted Tess into his arms and laid her on the made bed. He then turned to Kyle, " You stay here with her. I am going to call Max and get some wet cloths." Kyle nodded and then sat on the edge of the bed, beside Tess.

" Tess everything is going to be okay." Tess smiled and held Kyle's hand.

" I know. Thank you Kyle for everything. I know this must be different for you."

" At first I was weirded out, but now I can handle pretty much any extraterrestial problem that comes my way. Listen um I know this is probably not the best time, but I wanted you to know that I care for you and that no matter where you are I am here for you. I consider you part of my family." Tess inched up and put her arms around Kyle pulling him in for a hug.

Kyle smiled at first, but then grew confused when Tess wouldn't let go. He sighed and glanced up at his mirror, revealing Alex. It was Alex! Kyle shivered and quickly pulled away from Tess. He glanced down at his hands and he was shaking. Was what he saw real?

Tess raised an eyebrow and placed a hand on Kyle's shoulder.

" Kyle! Kyle are you okay?" Kyle brought one of his hands to his forehead and bean nervously laughing.

" Yeah of course I am. You know me." Tess smiled and nodded.

" Okay as long as you are fine."

" Just peachy." Kyle began strumming his fingers and then glanced over at the door to see what was keeping his dad. A part of him regretted looking for it happened again. He saw Alex, but this time Alex was speaking. Something about Kivar and the royal four....

Kyle jumped up off the bed and began taking deep breaths. He now knew what he saw wasn't fake, but reality.

Tess stood up with him and placed her hands on his shoulders. " Kyle what is wrong with you? What is it?" Kyle stepped back from Tess and then began scanning the room before his eyes met hers again.

" Alex was here."

" What? Kyle you're not making sense."

" Alex was here the day he died."

" What? No Kyle you're not thinking straight."

" I have to tell my father." Kyle began to turn around but Tess grabbed him by the shoulders and began squinting her eyes.

Within seconds Kyle was calmed down and smiling. " Well like I said Tess I am always here for you." Tess sighed and took a deep breath.

" Thank you Kyle."

" Sure."

As Kyle and Tess finished their little talk, Max and Valenti came bolting into the bedroom. Valenti was holding a bowl of warm water and cloths while Max just plainly looked scared. Max ran over to Tess and placed his hands on her shoulders. " Are you all right? The baby?" Tess nodded.

" I am fine now. Thanks to Kyle. It just must have been the baby and it's reaction to being here, on Earth." Max frowned at this. Another reminder about how they needed to leave Earth was thrown in his face. It looked as if he wouldn't ever be able to avoid leaving.

Valenti set the bowl and cloths down on the nightstand next to the bed. He then nodded, " Well Max I'll leave you two alone." Max nodded his thanks to Valenti and then waited for him and Kyle to leave before confronting Tess. Max didn't know why, but this whole situation seemed weird. He sighed and then led Tess to the bed and they both sat down.

" Tess I've been thinking....I mean about the baby and us having to leave...." Tess looked to the floor and then back to Max.

" You're having doubts aren't you? About going home?"

" Tess what is home?"

" Antar, Max. That is our home."

" I just can't get this feeling....that maybe we shouldn't...."

Tess knew where this conversation was leading. She quickly moaned in pain. Max immediately turned to her and worriedly asked, " Tess what is it?"

" No Max don't worry. It's just the baby." Max looked out the window and whispered to himself,

" The baby. "

Tess sighed and then said, " I think I just need some sleep." Max nodded,

" Sure." He leaned down and kissed her forehead before standing up. Tess grabbed his hand and asked, " Stay with me for awhile?" Max began to say no, but something made him say otherwise. What in the hell was happening to him? First Liz and now this. Max's eyes widened as he whispered, " Liz."

Tess frowned and then asked, " What?" Max gulped and then smiled at Tess.

" I can't stay. My parents are expecting me home."

" But Max?" Max was about to give in when there was a knock on the bedroom door. He sighed and then said, " Come in."

The door slowly opened revealing.....

The door slowly opened, revealing no other than Alex Whitman.

Max's eyes widened and his throat went dry. The fear in him rose to high levels. Was what he was seeing true?

Tess eyed Max and placed her hands on his shoulders. " Max what's wrong?" Tess glanced up at the door to see it closed shut. What in the hell was Max seeing?

Max began taking deep breaths as he stood up and walked towards the door as his late friend Alex Whitman stood before him. Alex's eyes remained dark and cold. Max gulped and began to speak, but Alex beat him to it. " Kivar and the Royal Four....Zan the King and Avan the Queen...." Max began yelling.

" What are you doing here? What do you want from me? Please tell me what really happened that night!"

Max placed his hands on Alex's shoulders and began gently shaking him. " Tell me!"

Max shut his eyes and then opened them to see Liz and Maria standing before him. He was yelling at Liz not Alex.

Liz's eyes were full of fear. Was Max doing this to mock her?

" Max?"

Max let his hands drop to his side and then he glanced at a confused and scared Tess.

Liz gasped at the sight of Max and Tess. She hadn't expected Max to be there and after that mornings scene at the Crashdown she wasn't really ready to see him, but there he was right in front of her. Liz bit her lip and nervously smiled. " Hey guys. Listen I'll just come back later."

Max frantically turned away from Tess and back to Liz. He was about to tell Liz what he saw, but something else made him say otherwise. His eyes went cold and his voice cruel. " Yeah I think you had better leave." Liz softly whimpered and her bit her lip and nodded as she glanced from Tess to Max. She then began to turn, but Max spoke again. " You aren't welcome here. I want you to stay away from Tess."

Liz clenched her jaw and didn't bother looking back at Max. She quickly ran out of the Valenti's house as she passed Kyle and Valenti who were still watching their football.

Maria followed Liz outside and then said, " You were right about Max. What are you going to do?" Liz sighed.

" I don't know Maria. I don't know."

Maria began getting into the Jetta when Liz said, " Listen I think I am going to just walk home." Maria eyed Liz, supiciously.

" Walk home, why? Liz what are you up too?" Liz tucked a strand of hair back behind her ear and shook her head.

" No Maria that's not true. I am not up to anything. I just need some fresh air."

" Um okay,but I have my phone and you have yours. So call me if anything gets weird." Liz smiled.

" I promise."

Liz waited for Maria to pull out of the Valenti's driveway before she headed down the road. She crossed her arms and began thinking. What was with Max and why was he calling her Alex?

1 HOUR LATER~

Max glanced out Tess's window and noticed that it was getting dark. He sighed and then kissed Tess on the forehead. " I really have to go." Tess nodded.

" Okay I will call you later?" Max smiled and then stood up and walked towards Tess's bedroom door. He then turned around and faced Tess. " I saw something here."

Tess raised an eyebrow and then sat up. " What did you see?" Max was about to tell Tess about seeing Alex, but he didn't want to worry her.

" Nothing."

" Max are you sure?"

" I'm positive."

" Okay."

Max nodded and then left her bedroom. He then passed the Valenti's who were still on the couch watching football. Max laughed and then headed out the front doors and into the pouring rain.

Liz groaned when the rain began to fall onto her head. " Great. Isn't this just great." Liz crossed her arms and sighed. She had at least 20 minutes before she would be home. As Liz was walking she began to think of Alex. She didn't care if he was dead or not. He was still her best friend. A smile came to her face when she remembered when he had done his police strip for Isabel, when he had walked in on her and Maria changing, when they had become even better friends the night she told him the truth about Michael, Isabel, and Max. Her smile quickly. If she hadn't told Alex the truth, would he have still been alive. Liz stopped walking and looked to the ground. Within seconds tears were erupting from her eyes. Liz brought her hands to her face as she fell to her knees. Her sobs controlled her body as she brought her hands down and began hitting the road below her. " Alex!! God I'm so sorry! Alex!"

Max was driving his Jeep down the road when someone caught his eye. It appeared to be Liz and she was on the ground, crying. Max braked the Jeep and turned the engine off. As he began to step out of the Jeep something stopped him. These strange feelings that made him think other things. Bad things. He laid his head against the steering wheel and groaned. " No Liz needs me." He shook his head and jumped out of the Jeep before something made him change his mind.

Liz was hitting the ground and sobbing when she felt someone put their arms around her. She'd know that scent anywhere. It was Max! Liz fell back into his arms and sobbed. He held her and cried with her. Max held tightly as he cried for Alex, and the loss of Liz. He missed holding her. Max held Liz for awhile longer before he lifted her into his arms and carried her back to the Jeep. He whispered, " I'll take you home and we need to talk." Liz bit her lip and nodded as she sat in the passengers seat staring out at the cold dark weather.

AT THE CRASHDOWN~

Max parked the Jeep in the alley beside the Crashdown and Liz's room. He grabbed the keys and the both of them sat in the Jeep, staring outside. The silence grew louder by every minute. It was enough to make them both feel uncomfortable. Liz gulped and sighed awaiting for Max to say something. Max didn't dare look at Liz as the words he regretted saying the most left his lips, " Liz, Tess and I have grew closer." Liz rolled her eyes.

" Yeah I know you guys are together now."

" No it's more than that." Liz remained silent. " Tess and I slept together."

Liz quickly glanced over at Max as he did the same to her. His eyes were full of hurt and confusion. Liz looked down at her hands. They were shaking. She then looked out the window and replied, " Oh."

Max sighed and then spoke again, " There's another thing."

Liz shot Max an angry look and threw her hands up in the air.

" Max I don't want to know. That's you and her thing..." Max sighed and then interrupted her as he spoke loudly,

" Tess is pregnant and the baby can't survive on Earth. Isabel, Michael, Tess and I are leaving in 3 days." Liz bit her lip to keep her tears from falling.

" It figures you would do that."

" What?"

" Damn it. You can't leave."

" Liz we have no choice."

" No you had a choice when you slept with Tess! God I can't even say her name right now. How could you do that to me? With her? I saved myself for you!" Max's eyes widened with hope and surprise.

" What? Saved yourself? You slept with Kyle!" Liz shivered and then opened the Jeep door. " I have to get inside."

She stepped out of the Jeep and ran towards her ladder. Her hands grabbed onto the cold steel as she began to climb up the ladder. She quickly climbed to the top and jumped onto her roof. Liz wiped her eyes and ran towards her window. As she was opening the already cracked window someone grabbed her shoulders and turned her around gently. Liz bottom lip quivered at the sight of Max. He looked so hurt and confused. The words quickly left his lips, " We need to talk..."

" I have to get inside." Liz turned away from Max and crawled into her bedroom with Max right behind her.

Liz removed her jacket and threw it on the bed. She then turned around to see Max staring at her. " Max I have nothing to say to you."

There was a moment of silence and then Max said, " You didn't sleep with Kyle did you?" Liz bit her lip and shook her head no. Max groaned and leaned back against the wall as tears shed from his eyes.

" Damn it. Why did you continue to lie to me? We could have been together, but you kept pushing me away. Why Liz?"

" You belong with Tess."

" Liz..."

" And now you've slept with her." Max looked to the ground, remembering the past events. He closed his eyes and groaned.

" I didn't mean to." Liz sat down on her bed and glanced up at Max.

" Max what did she rape you? What so you were raped by a gerbil." Max groaned.

" No Liz! I mean I didn't have control over what I wanted to do. For example when I spoke with Isabel so harshly and you that day you said you were leaving for Sweden and this morning. It wasn't me Liz. I didn't want to say any of those things." Liz stood up and carefully approaced Max.

" What are you saying that Tess mind warped you into doing those....things."

" I don't know if it was her, but someone is doing this to me."

Liz sighed and then glanced over at her dresser. She thought for a moment and then walked over to her dresser and picked up a piece of paper. Max eyed her and asked, " What is that?"

" Since Alex was murdered I have been keeping notes of everything that...." Max gulped and interrupted Liz.

" Alex!" Liz raised an eyebrow.

" What?"

" I saw Alex today."

" Max what are you talking about?"

" When I was in Tess's room I saw Alex, but then when I looked up it was you."

Liz began thinking, but her thoughts seemed to stop and something else came out of her. Something that she didn't want to happen. Liz glared over at Max, " You need to leave."

" What?"

" Damn it Max you slept with Tess. I don't want to have anything to do with you. I look forward to the day you leave."

" Liz you don't mean that."

" And then you got her pregnant. It should have been my baby. I should have been your first." Liz grabbed her notebook and threw it at Max.

" You broke my heart now get the hell out of here!"

Max whispered, " Liz I don't love her." He then crawled out of the window and down the ladder. His life on Earth was over and his life on Antar would began.

Liz fell onto her knees and brought her hand to her head. " Oh God my head hurts." Liz squinted her eyes and then paused for a moment as she waited for the pain to subside. Liz then stood up and glanced towards her window. " Why did I let Max leave?" Liz didn't know what had happened. One minute her and Max were trying to figure out what was happening and then the next she was telling him off. The weird part of that is she didn't want to say or do any of those things. Liz stomped her foot and then flipped her back as she sat down on her bed. Now what was she going to do?

Tess groaned as she laid back on her bed. Her head ached with having to use so much force. She was controlling Max, Liz and Kyle. Tess didn't know how much longer she could keep it up. It was easy when she only had Alex to worry about, but then when Max, Liz, and Kyle came into play things grew harder. Tess was only able to control one person at a time. She had just finished with Liz. Tess clenched her jaw and gritted her teeth. It seemed that Liz continued to get in the way. No matter how hard Tess tried, Liz was always able to reach Max and that was a problem. Something had to change, but what? Tess had never meant to kill Alex. It was his own fault for remembering, but Liz on the other hand was a different situation. It seemed to Tess that it would be better off if Liz wasn't there to complicate the situation. She was Max's destiny not her and besides she had to deliver the four of them to Kivar. Tess couldn't go back empty handed. She laid back down on the bed and got comfortable. Tess then took a deep breath and closed her eyes and an evil smile spread across her face.

Liz sat on her bed, pondering and analyzing the events that had taken place earlier that evening. She knew something was going on inside of her. Liz hadn't meant to say those things to Max. She wanted to find the truth even though he had slept with Tess. Liz whimpered as her thinking became fuzzy again. Just like it had earlier that evening. She shook her head in hopes of making the distorted thoughts stop,but it was no use. It seemed as if someone else was controlling her. Liz sighed as the thoughts poured into her. Max had slept with Tess and if matters couldn't get worse he was the father of her child. Why couldn't Max have said no? So what if she lied to him about sleeping with Kyle. She did it because the bastard future Max told her to. Well for all she cared Max desereved Tess. They were both low and cruel people.

Liz stood up and walked towards her dresser as she gazed at her reflection in the mirror. She then spoke out loud, " No wonder Max doesn't want me. No wonder he chose Tess. She is beautiful and I'm not. She has his heart and I don't. She has his baby and I don't. I have nothing of him, but the pieces of my broken heart that he stomped on. I may not be alien or Hybrid or whatever the hell they call themselves, but I have feelings. Does he even care? No of course he doesn't. I am nothing. I have lost Max and Alex. I lost Alex. It's my fault he died. I shouldn't have told him about the aliens that night in the jail cell. Then he wouldn't have been involved and he would be here. It's my fault. All of it is. God why am I even here? Why in the hell did Max save me? So I could live a life of pain and regret?" Liz took a deep breath as a tear slid down her cheek. She hadn't meant to say these things, but for that moment she believed them. Liz turned away from her dresser and grabbed her computer keyboard. She then walked back to her mirror and threw the unhooked computer keyboard at her mirror. The glass shattered and fell onto her dresser top. Liz gulped and then reached out and grabbed a piece of glass. Quickly she dropped it and brought her hands to her head. " Oh my God what am I doing....Max doesn't love me. It's over. I killed Alex." Liz reached out for a piece of glass for the second time. She then slumped down on the floor and pressed the piece of glass to her tender and smooth skin. Liz whimpered as she began scraping her skin up and down. The glass grinded against her arm as it cut into her arm. The blood slowly peeked from under the skin. Liz began crying as she wanted to stop, but it was if she had no control. She continued this over and over making new cuts....

Tess opened her eyes and smiled. " Said good-bye Bitch."

Maria was lying on her bed, waiting for Liz to call her. Liz had promised to call her as soon as she got home, but to her dismay the phone hadn't rang. Maria was growing impatient. It wasn't like Liz to forget to call her and now with their lives being linked with aliens. Maria never took anything lightly. She reached over and grabbed her phone. Quickly Maria dialed Liz's cell number.

The cell phone rang repeatedly, but Liz was unable to answer. She was sitting against her bed in a pool of blood, crying.

Maria sighed and then hung up her phone. " Liz must be sleeping." Maria sighed and then turned her lamp light off and crawled under the covers. She too was tired and decided to wait and talk to Liz at school the next day.

Michael was pacing back in forth in his living room with a container of milk in his right hand. He was scared and nervous about having to tell Maria that they were departing in less than 3 days. All of his life he had pursued finding out the truth and where they came from, but he had never planned on falling in love. When Max had expressed his love for Liz, he thought it was pathetic and doomed, but things changed when he realized that he too was in love with a human. Things had changed since that day when Max saved Liz. He had changed. Michael had grown so close to Amy and his human friends. A part of him believed that he was home. His life on Antar was a different memory and in the past. Michael was planning on asking Maria to meet him later the next night for a candle light dinner. Then he would do something that he had never thought possible. Michael would let her see him. Deep down he knew that when it came to the them departing that he wouldn't leave. How did he know that? Because his heart told him so.

Max crawled through his bedroom window to find Isabel sitting on his bed in tears. Max shut his window and then sat down beside Isabel. " Isabel what's wrong?"

Isabel sniffled and then glanced over at him. " Max what if I told you that I didn't want to go?" Max took a deep breath and paused for a moment before answering.

" Isabel, Antar is our home. We don't belong here."

" I'm not so sure anymore. I mean I may be alien, but I am also human. I mean God what is home? Antar is some foreign place and living on Earth is all I know. Max I know that they aren't our real parents, but I don't care. I love them. I love my life here and most of all I don't want to leave my memories. They are all I have left of Alex."

Max looked to the ground and sighed. He kept his gaze at his hands and then began speaking. " Isabel when we were found on the side of the road by Mom and Dad. I was scared, but I knew that everything was gonna be okay because I had my sister with me. Isabel wherever you are is my home." Isabel smiled through her tears.

" You are my home too Max."

Max nodded and smiled before standing up and walking towards her bedroom door. " We still have three days. Make them the best three days that they can possibly be." Isabel nodded and then broke down into tears again.

As Max was closing Isabel's door he could hear her crying. He looked to the ground and sighed. His heart went out to his sister because Max knew what she was going through. He felt the exact same way. Max shoved his hands in his pockets and walked into his room. He sat down in his desk chair and put his Counting Crows cd in. Max didn't want to leave Earth, but he knew he belonged on Antar with his real family. Not to mention he was going to be a father. Max shivered as the same thought came back to him. He had slept with Tess. Max didn't really remember how he had even gotten himself in that situation. He remembered sitting outside the observatory, thinking about how he had treated Isabel and Liz earlier. Then Tess came up behind him and placed her hand on his shoulder. That was the last thing he remembered before waking up naked in her arms. It wasn't suppose to Tess that he made love to, but Liz. Another startling thought occurred to him. Liz hadn't slept with Kyle. Max groaned and pounded his fist against his desk before placing his head in his hands and crying. Max began sobbing like a little boy who had lost everything. " Liz why didn't you tell me sooner? " Max continued to cry as his slurred words blended. " If I had only known..."

THE NEXT MORNING~

Kyle woke up to his alarm clock with a pounding headache. He sat up and groaned. " Dad do we have any Tylenol?"

Valenti came from the kitchen out into the living room.

" What did you want Kyle? Tylenol?"

" That or a hammer. My head feels like shit."

" Watch your mouth."

" Mmmk."

Valenti shook his head and then walked down the hall to bathroom to grab a bottle of Tylenol. As he was doing this he knocked on Tess's door. " Hey Tess come on it's time for school." Within seconds Tess opened the door, ready for school, with a huge smile on her face.

" I'm good to go." Valenti smiled.

" Care to share what is making you smile like that this early in the morning?"

" Max Evans." Valenti bit his lip and nodded. He decided not to even go there this early in the morning. Instead he marched into the bathroom and grabbed Kyle some Tylenol.

Kyle was in his boxers when Tess came strolling down the hallway. He yelled, " Tess close your eyes " as he grabbed one of the blankets off of the couch and wrapped it around his waist. Tess shook her head and laughed. " Oh Kyle. It's not like your naked."

" Behr with me."

" Whatever you say Buddha Boy."

" Gerbil."

" What did you call me?"

" I said your fertile. Literally." Tess eyed Kyle curiously and then nodded.

" I'm not even going to ask."

" Mmmk."

Kyle turned to his father who was handing him the bottle of Tylenol. " Thanks Dad."

" Sure. I have to get to the office. "

" All right. Bye."

" See ya son. Bye Tess."

Kyle shrugged his shoulders and then walked down the hall into his former room to grab a pair of clothes when an image of Alex appeared in front of him. Kyle's eyes widened as he began taking steps back. " Alex what are you doing here?"

Tess was grabbing a pack of cherry poptarts when she heard Kyle mention Alex's name. She quickly set the poptarts down and ran towards Kyle. She placed her hands on his shoulders and shut her eyes. Within minutes Kyle's mind was under Tess's control. " Kyle you didn't see anything. You are getting dressed for school." Tess then backed away from Kyle and asked, " Kyle are you okay?"

Kyle shook his head and glanced over at her. " Tess can't I change without you hounding me?" Tess smiled.

" Sorry Kyle." She then walked back into the kitchen as a rush of relief ran over her.

Liz woke up to find herself sitting in semi dried blood not to mention the burning sensation throughout her arms. She gasped and scanned her surroundings. " What the hell did I do? Oh God." Liz began crying as she slowly stood up. Her arms were burning with pain. It was unbehrable. Liz bit her lip and began hyperventilating. " Oh God." Liz whimpered as she began pacing back and forth. What was she going to do? She couldn't let her parents see this. Liz looked to the ground her floor was covered in dried blood. She began taking deep breaths and then said, " Okay Liz calm down. Just wear a long sleeved shirt and everything will be fine." Liz nodded and frantically began rummaging through her closet searching for something to wear.

LATER*WEST ROSWELL-

Michael ran around the school in search of Maria. He had to speak with her. Michael rolled his eyes and continued to push people out of his way. He didn't care about anything, but finding her.

Maria was at her locker when someone grabbed her shoulder. She was startled at first, but a smile spread across her face when she saw that it was Michael. " Hey Spaceboy." Michael looked to the ground and then sighed. " Can you please not call me that." Maria eyed him.

" Are you okay?"

" No not really. Listen I just want to be with you."

" You are."

" Tonight can you come over to my place?"

" Sure."

" Great. I love you Maria." Maria blushed.

" I love you too."

Isabel kept her arms crossed as she headed towards her locker. She wasn't in the mood to speak with anyone. As she was trying to remember her combination she caught a glimpse of Kyle. Isabel glanced over to her right and smiled.

" Hey Kyle." Kyle glanced back over at her.

" Hey Isabel. Listen I know."

" Yeah."

" I'll walk you to class?"

" Sure."

Liz was late to school because she chose to take the bus instead of get a ride from Maria. She didn't want to raise her suspicions. Liz bit her lip and held her books to her chest. She had decided to wear a long sleeved red sweater, jeans, and her white tennis shoes. Her hair was worn down to cover her tear riddened face. Liz tried to ignore the pain that continued to run through her. She couldn't get the memory of waking up in the blood. There was so much blood. Liz walked over to her locker and began turning the nob to the combination when she heard a sweet voice echo in her ears. Liz turned around to see Max with his hands shoved in his pockets. She hated herself for treating him so badly the night before, but a part of her dispised him for sleeping with Tess. " Hey Liz." Liz nodded.

" Hey." Max's sweet smile faded into a frown and expression of worry.

" Liz are you okay?"

Max walked closer to Liz, but she quickly moved away from him. " Of course." Max clenched his jaw and gently grabbed her arm. Liz cried out in pain. Max removed his hand to see blood. He glanced back up at Liz.

" What happened?" Liz tried to keep her tears from falling,but she couldn't.

" Nothing." Max touched her other arm to recieve the same reaction, but this time he got a flash to. He then looked up at Liz,

" You did this?"

Liz hesitated at first about what to say to Max. " Um it's nothing, really. I didn't mean for it to happen." Max's face was sketched with concern not to mention fear. He had never in a million years expected to see or even hear about his Liz harming herself like she had.

" Liz you're lying. I saw you doing this." Liz bit her lip and shook her head no.

" No Max really it wasn't me."

" What do you mean it wasn't you?"

Liz held her tears back as her bottom lip quivered. She then slammed her locker shut and threw her arms up in the air and yelled.

" I don't know okay, but it wasn't me! I couldn't stop doing it! Just like I couldn't stop myself from talking so rudely to you last night! I didn't want you to leave me last night and I don't want you to leave period. I am in love with you Max and how do you repay me? You sleep with Tess and now she is pregnant! God Tess! You broke my heart and there isn't anything I can do about but watch you leave with her."

Max gulped and then noticed that everyone was staring at him and Liz. He turned back to Liz and placed his hands on her shoulders.

" Come on." Liz was hurting mentally and physically at that moment. She didn't have it in her to walk away from him. He kept one arm around her as he recieved startled and confused looks from his fellow peers. Max led Liz up to the eraser room. He opened the door and followed her inside. Max quickly shut and locked the door before turning Liz around to face him. " Let me see your arms." Liz shook her head no at first, but the tone in his voice and then seriousness of his facial expression made her do otherwise. Liz sniffled as she removed her blue fleece, revealing a white tank top underneath. She then outstretched her arms as Max grabbed her hands. He felt tears swelling up in his eyes at the sight of her arms. Max clenched his jaw and turned his head to hide the tears that were streaming down his face. After a couple of minutes he turned back to her and took a deep breath as he placed his hands on her arms. Max continued this with each cut healing her open wounds.

Liz pulled her arms away from him and put her blue fleece back on. She then quickly glanced up at him and then away. " Thank you."

Max couldn't not stare at her, " Sure."

The two of them stood their in silence when Max cleared his throat and mumbled, " It happens to me to." Liz quickly glanced over at him.

" What?"

" I find myself doing things and saying things even though I don't want to. The words just come out and I can't stop them. I end up doing things even though I am not willful to them."

Max bottom lip quivered and the tears raced down his cheeks. Max kept his eyes on Liz as he backed against the eraser room door and sobbed. " Like with Tess. Liz I am so sorry. I never meant for it to happen. I never meant to ....sleep with her. I have always loved you Liz. I should have known that you didn't sleep with Kyle and I hate myself for giving up on us so quickly. Please Liz you have to believe me." Max covered his face with his hands and slid to the ground. " I always dreamed of you being my first...." Max was unable to speak for his sobs began controlling his body. He began shaking and letting his cries pour out of him just as he had the night he had found out of Tess's pregnancy and was taking out the trash although he didn't have anything to kick or beat on now.

Liz began taking deep breaths to control her sobs, but just like Max it was useless. She walked over to Max and knelt down beside him. Liz gently grabbed his hands and pulled them away from his face, revealing his puffy, watery eyes and tear ridden cheeks.

" I never wanted things between us to end up so horribly. I never accused you of killing Alex."

" I know Liz."

" Max I don't want you to leave." Max pouted as more tears fell down his face and then sobs became more apparent.

" Me....ei...ther Liz." He reached out and pulled her into his arms and they both cried together.

The bell for first period had just rang and Kyle was sitting at his desk when his head began hurting and pounding uncontrolably. " Damn it!"

Mr. Nugent his Math teacher glanced over at Kyle along with the rest of the class. " Mr. Valenti is there something you wanted to share with the rest of us or were you just demonstrating your lack of vocabulary?" The entire class began laughing and Kyle just slumped down in his seat,feeling really stupid.

" Sorry."

" Can I continue class now or do you have something else you'd like to share?"

" No I'm done."

" Glad to hear it."

Kyle groaned and then picked up his pencil and began writing down the problems from the over head when a rush of images came into his mind.

* Alex begging for his life.

* Tess telling him to calm down.

* Alex yelling.

* Tess yelling.

* Alex falling to the ground.

Kyle jumped out of his seat and yelled, " Tess killed Alex!"

Mr. Nugent set his over head pen down and him and the entire class turned to Kyle. " Mr. Valenti out now!" Kyle felt everyone staring at him. He quickly grabbed his things and ran out of the room in search of Liz or Max.

Liz pulled away from Max and gulped as she stared into his red and teary eyes. Max's bottom lip quivered as his fingers stroked her cheek and then tucked a strand of her hair back behind her ear. Neither one of them needed to say anything for their body language and eyes spoke to their hearts. Liz closed her eyes as Max's fingers massaged her cheek. She bit her lip and sighed. Liz opened her eyes and let her tears fall.

Max began sobbing as he gazed deep into her eyes. He had never wanted to sleep with Tess. Max had always dreamed of Liz being his first and the mother of his child. A sense of fear and panic ran through him when he felt Liz pulling away. Max clenched his jaw as his bottom lip quivered due to his body racking sobs. Max then demandingly whispered, " No." Without hesitation he quickly leaned forward, cupping her face and pulling her lips to his. Max forcefully massaged her lips and caressed her mouth with his tongue.

Liz brought her hands to his face, pulling him closer. A soft moan escaped her lips as she kissed him. She began to pull away when the reality kicked in. Liz sniffled as new tears streamed down her face,

" Max I don't want to say goodbye."

" I have to." Liz looked to her hands and sighed.

" Because of the baby. Your and Tess's baby." Liz cringed at the thought and pulled away from Max. The thought of him touching Tess in ways that he had never touched her made her sick. Liz flipped her hair back as an angry and hurt expression appeared on her face.

Max slowly stood up and walked towards Liz, pushing her into the corner.

Liz didn't dare look at him. She couldn't behr it. After everything he had done. She was unable to move because her body was in between his body and then wall.

Max lifted her chin and forced her to look at him. " Liz listen to me...."

Liz shook her head no and interrupted him, " Just tell me one thing. Do you love her?" Max began caressing her face with one hand and then holding her by the waist with the other.

" Not like I love you."

Liz half smiled and then nodded. She looked to the ground and ducked under Max's arm, walking away from him....

Kyle frantically wandered the halls. He was scared because of what Tess had done and what she was capable of doing. He was enraged for taking his best friend away. Him and Alex had become so close during his last months alive. He was like a brother to him. Kyle stopped walking as memories of Alex washed over him. Kyle clenched his jaw and looked to the ground. The bell, ending first period, rang bringing Kyle back to reality and to what was really going on. He groaned as the hallways began filling up with students. Kyle muttered, " Great now how am I going to find Max?"

Before Kyle could contemplate what he needed to do someone touched his shoulder. Kyle turned around and yelled in horror as he faced the cold blooded killer herself, Tess Harding.

Tess eyed Kyle in confusion, " Kyle are you okay?" Kyle was one nerve away from beating the shit out of Tess for taking his dear friend away from him. Not to mention she mindwarped him into carrying the body. Kyle looked to the ground and squinted his eyes in hopes of holding back his tears. Kyle didn't want Tess to know what he was thinking. He began walking backwards away from Tess.

Tess glanced from her right to her left and then back to Kyle. " Kyle what's going on? What are you thinking about?" Kyle slowly glanced up at her and forced himself to lie,

" I failed a Chemistry Quiz."

" Oh Kyle I'm sorry. Maybe I could help you study and you could retake it?"

" Yeah I could do that."

Just then Isabel walked over to Tess, " Hey."

Kyle's eyes widened and he ran over to Isabel and forcefully grabbed her arm. " Stay away from her. I won't let her hurt you to."

Isabel exchanged confused and worried looks with Tess before grabbing Kyle's arm and leading him down the hall and up the stairs to the Eraser Room. She pushed him into the room and placed her hands on her hips. " What is your problem?" Kyle began panicing.

" Tess killed Alex!"

Isabel's eyes widened and as if it was a natural reaction to hearing his name, tears began swelling up in her eyes. Before she could respond Liz and Max came around the corner.

Liz gasped and then cried out, " What?"

Kyle and Isabel both startled by Max and Liz's presence gulped. Kyle then walked over to Liz and Max. " I had flashes. Listen Alex was at the my house the day he died. I saw him. When I had gotten home from Malamood's house I heard them screaming, Tess and Alex. So I entered my bedroom to see Alex crying, begging Tess to leave him alone. He said that Tess had mindwarped him for the 2 months, sending him to Las Cruces to decode the Destiny Book. Alex was screaming for her to leave him alone when she placed her hand on his head and then he fell down...." Kyle clenched his jaw and finished as an angry group listened. " Then she mindwarped me into thinking that I was helping her carry luggage to her car when it was Alex's body. She placed had him in the front seat."

Isabel nearly collapsed, but Kyle caught her.

Liz began taking deep breaths, " It was Tess. She mind warped me into the cutting and...." Liz gulped and turned around to see an angry and hurt Max. " ....Maybe she mindwarped you to...."

Max feeling relieved and enraged at the same time. " Maybe I didn't actually sleep with her?" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Liz took a deep breath and then glanced from Kyle to Max. " Tess killed Alex. Oh God we have to do something!" Liz began to leave the Eraser Room, but Max grabbed her arm.

" No Liz we can't just run up to her and start accusing her of things." Liz's eyes widened.

" What are you saying that you don't believe Kyle?"

" No that's not what I'm saying. I just don't want anyone to get hurt. I think we should plan it out on how we are going to confront her with."

Liz whimpered and brought her hand to her head. She knew Max was right, but she didn't want Tess to live for another moment now knowing that she killed her best friend. Liz nodded and then crossed her arms. " You're right. I just can't believe...." Max walked over to Liz and wrapped his arms around her.

" Shh....Liz everything's gonna be okay."

" But Max, you and Tess? The baby?" Max shook his head.

" We don't even know if it's true. I don't even remember doing making love to her. Just like Kyle didn't with Alex and you didn't with the cutting. Tess might not even be pregant."

" Max I'm just scared."

" Me too Parker. Me too."

Isabel looked to the ground and then sighed. " Max how do you know Tess is pregnant?" Max looked over at Isabel and thought for a a moment before speaking. " I touched her stomach and I could feel the baby."

Liz cringed at this and pulled away from Max. " Maybe we should meet tonight at the Crashdown and um go from there."

Max looked sympathetically at Liz. He hated knowing that he had caused her so much pain. Isabel nodded, " Yeah and I could check this baby thing out for myself. I mean Tess can't use her powers one me. Because mine are much stronger."

Kyle shoved his hands in his jean pockets and sighed. " I don't care about Tess right now. I just want her to pay for what she did to Alex." Liz immediately nodded.

" I think so to."

Isabel sighed, " I feel the same way, but Max is right. We will deal with everything tonight."

Kyle nodded and then left the Eraser room with Isabel following. Liz glanced in Isabel and Kyle's direction and then back to Max.

" I knew Alex was murdered. God I can't believe this is happening."

" Liz I was wrong about Alex, about everything and I'm sorry."

Liz nodded and then walked away from Max.

Maria was walking down the hall with Michael when she saw Kyle and Isabel approaching them with angered expressions on their faces. Michael glanced down at Maria and then back to Isabel. " What's the problem?" Isabel held her tears back and looked to the ground. Kyle licked his lips and then sighed.

" Just stay away from Tess."

Maria raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms. " Stay away from Tess? Why? What are you talking about?"

" You'll find out sooner enough."

" No! I want to know right now, damn it!" Kyle rubbed the back of his neck and then sighed.

" Listen I said not now."

Michael held Maria back from attacking Kyle and then asked, " Where's Maxwell?"

Isabel, Kyle, Michael, and Maria turned around to hear a familiar voice. " I'm right here." Michael nodded and then asked,

" Okay Maxwell now what are they talking about?" Max bit his lip and sighed.

" I think we all need to meet at the Crashdown in an hour."

Maria frowned, " What so you want us to just leave school?" Max gave her a disbeliefed look,

" Oh like missing school is reallly the problem." Maria thought about it for a moment and then nodded.

" Yeah good point." Max shook his head.

" So one hour. Don't be late and stay away from Tess."

They all exchanged knowing and worried looks before dispersing into the hallways.

Liz was walking around the corner when she bumped into someone. Liz's books and papers went flying everywhere. She groaned in frustration and knelt down to gather her papers, " Shit."

Liz glanced up, prepared to apologize the the person, but that notion quickly disappeared. Liz felt feelings of anger and hurt run through her as she stared into the eyes of her best friends killer, Tess.

Tess smiled at Liz. " Gosh Liz I am so sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you." Liz knew that Max didn't want her to say anything, but then again earlier she wasn't facing Tess, either. Liz clenched her jaw and tried to hide her emotions, but it was a false attempt one her part. Tess gulped and then sweetly asked, " Liz are you okay?" Liz looked away from Tess and stood up.

" Yeah Tess, why wouldn't I be?"

" Well I don't know you seem angry."

" Angry? Why would I be angry Tess? I mean first you come to Roswell and steal Max away from me. Then you kill Alex. Oh and you have sex with Max, resulting in your pregnancy if that's even true. So tell me Tess why the fuck would I be mad?" Tess's face went pale and her eye's widened as she took in what Liz had said.

" Liz you don't know what you are talking about."

" Bullshit Tess. Kyle remembered everything."

" No it's not true."

" Everyone knows and you're not going to get away with it Tess."

" I am warning you Liz Parker. You had better shut up."

" Why? What are you going to do to me, huh? You've already fucked my life up. I mean what more could you do?" Liz threw her books at Tess's face just as Max and Michael were walking around the corner. Tess fell down and whimpered as Liz ran out of the building in tears.

Max and Michael rounded the hallway corner in time to see Tess fall to the floor and Liz's books fly all over the hall. Michael's eyes widened and a grin spread across his face. He never did like Tess, but for Max's sake he knelt down to help the pregnant Tess to her feet. Max gulped and began to follow Liz, but Tess cried out in pain. " Max the baby!" Max inwardly groaned and then turned around to Tess.

" Tess what's wrong?"

" When I fell the baby began kicking." Max sighed and then helped Michael with Tess. Max nodded and gazed into her eyes.

" You're going to be fine."

" I hope so Max. God we have to get off of this planet. It's killing our baby." Max cringed at the thought. He would never look down on his son, but he definately regretted what he had done. If he had even done any of it at all. Max gulped and helped Tess down the hall with a grinning Michael beside him.

Michael regained his composure and than asked Max, " Um what about the meeting? Liz doesn't know yet." Max rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.

" I am sure she went home. I will talk to her once we get there."

Tess laid her head against Max's shoulder and asked with a whiny tone, " Can I sit in the Jeep? I can wait while you gather the others. I really don't feel like walking any longer."

Max hesitated at first, but he soon agreed. He led Tess outside of the school and to the parking lot. Quickly Max opened the door and helped her inside. " Tess I'll be back after I speak with the others."

" I understand Max." Max nodded and began to walk away when Tess asked, " Max do you still love her?"

Max stopped walking and slowly turned around to face Tess. He paused for a moment and then answered her with all honesty, " I loved her, I love her, and I will always love her. No planet can take that away from me."

" Max,but the baby?"

" I am returning home Tess, but only for the sake of my son."

" Our son, Max." Max turned away from Tess, shoved his hands in his pockets and moped back into the school, feeling more than dirty.

Isabel, Kyle, Maria, and Michael met up with Max who had just entered the building. Maria placed her hands on her hips and complained, " Let's get to the Crashdown so you can tell us what the hell is going on!" Michael placed his arm around Maria's shoulders to calm her down and Max then nodded.

As they were leaving the highschool, Kyle pulled Max aside and asked, " You aren't going to let Tess get away with what she did to Alex are you?"

Max looked to the ground and clenched his jaw. He then sharply replied, " No fucking way in hell." Kyle smiled for the first time in weeks as him and Max made way to their vehicles to head over to the Crashdown, where everything would be settled once and for all.

Tess was in the Jeep, trying to concentrate on Liz's mind. " I won't let you take Max away from me Liz. You have already caused enough trouble. First it was Alex now it's you. I pray Kyle stays out of my way. I would hate to hurt him too." Tess closed her eyes and began thinking....

AT THE CRASHDOWN~

Liz had caught the public bus from the corner of the school and then ran the rest of the way home. She didn't want to talk to anyone. She figured Max would be angry with her for telling Tess everything. Liz wiped her tears and ran up into her bedroom. She shut the door and turned around as a gasp escaped her lips. " Oh God." Liz scanned her room to see the blood stained carpet and broken glass. She whimpered and covered her face with her hands, sliding to the floor. Liz began sobbing, " Oh God what is happening to me, to my life? I have lost you Alex and I can't help but think it was my fault. If I wouldn't have involved you with Max, Michael, and Isabel's secret none of this would have happened." Liz began crying as her thoughts became disoriented and unclear. Within minutes she had no concept of time or what was going on....

Max and Isabel ran over to the Jeep, startling Tess as they stepped inside. Max sighed and asked, " Tess are you okay?" Tess brought her hand to her forehead and smiled, " Just a headache." Max frowned and then turned back around, waiting for Isabel to slide in the back before starting the ignition and pulling out of the parking lot.

15 MINTUES LATER~

Max and the others arrived at the closed building, known as the Crashdown. They quickly piled out of the vehicles and ran inside with the help of the alien's powers to unlock the doors.

Max told everyone to remain seating as he bolted up the stairs to Liz's room. He pounded on the door, but there was no answer. " Liz, it's me Max!" But there was no answer. " Liz!"

Max frowned and then backed away from the door with a worried expression sketched across his face. He groaned and walked back to the door and knocked. " Liz it's Max. Please let me in." He listened, but he couldn't hear anything. He shook his head and forced himself to enter. Max placed his hand on the door knob and gulped as a red glow surrounded his hand and the door knob. There was a click as Max turned the knob and opened the door. He paced himself, not wanting to disturb or startle Liz.

He looked to the ground and his eye's widened and a gasp escaped his lips as the sight of blood appeared before him. He gulped as the trail of blood led to Liz. She was crumpled against the other side of the door, in blood.

Max dropped to the floor and cradled Liz in his arms. " Oh God Liz! No! Please look at me! Damn it Liz look at me!" Max frantically scanned Liz's body trying to find out where the blood was coming from when it hit him. The blood wasn't coming from one or two places, but six or seven. Max began yelling in fear as he tried to make Liz open her eyes. To Max's dismay her eyes slightly open.

" Liz! Oh God please just look at me!" Max placed his hand over a wound, but she pushed him away with her weakening amount of energy. " Liz stop it! Let me heal you!" Liz gulped and tried to speak. " Max she made me do it."

" What?"

" Tess made me do this. It's her fault."

" Oh God!"

Maria, Michael, Isabel, Tess and Kyle heard Max screaming and yelling. Michael ran up the stairs and spoke for everyone when he said, " What the hell?"

Max glanced up at Michael and the others. " It's Liz. She won't let me heal her. She can't die!" Max tried to heal her again, but Liz wouldn't let him make the connection.

Instead she held onto Max's shoulders. " Max help me up." Max was panicking. He couldn't figure out what the hell Liz was doing. Max let her lean on him. The other's gasped and Maria cried out as Michael engulfed her in his arms. Liz used the last bit of her strength and said, " Tess did this to me! She mind warped me! I know she did!" Liz whimpered fell into Max's arms.

Max cried with her as he laid her down and placed his hands on her wounds. " Let me heal you." Liz nodded and Max began healing her wounds. While he did this Isabel waved her hand over the blood stained floor and material, returning it to it's former state. Michael then walked over to Liz's door and sealed it with his powers. Once Max had healed a weak Liz he cradled her in his arms. " Liz I thought I lost you." Liz sighed and took in his scent for just that moment before she broke away from him and approached Tess.

" You bitch!" Liz slapped Tess and then glared. " You are slowly killling me, and Kyle by warping our minds. Just like you did Alex!"

Tess shook her head. " No Never! I would never do that!"

Kyle stood up and glared at Tess. " You're lying. I've told them about how you mindwarped Alex in going to Las Cruces. Then you killed him!" Michael held a hysterical Maria.

Liz nodded at Kyle and then turned back to Tess. " You made me cut myself and you made Kyle forget! What else is a lie Tess? Are you even pregnant? Did you even sleep....with Max? God I hate you! You took Alex away from me! I will never let you live for that!" Liz threw herself at Tess, both of them hitting the ground. Liz had accidently touched Tess's stomach, resulting in a shock through her body and a rush of images.

Max, too fell to the ground as pain surged through him. He then recieved the same flashes.

* Tess making Max kiss her at Prom.

* Max seeing Liz that night, wanting to tell her about Tess. *

Max and Liz making love.

* Tess mindwarping Max and Liz to think otherwise.

* Tess killing Alex the same night.

* Tess drugging Liz.

* Tess placing her hand on Liz's stomach and taking her unborn baby.

* Tess making Max think he was in bed, naked with her.

* Tess pregnant with Liz's child.

Liz was crying as she backed away from Tess. " That's my baby." Liz felt Max's arms wrap around her and help her stand up. Liz clenched her jaw and began to charge Tess, but Max stopped her.

Michael, Maria, Kyle, and Isabel stood baffled.

Max kissed Liz's forehead as their night of making love became more and more clear. He gulped and then turned back to Tess.

" You will pay!"
