Jenny Calander (Robia LaMorte), was the computer science teacher at Sunnydale High. She quickly formed a friendship with Librarian Giles, which led to her joining of the Scooby Gang. It was revealed that she was a practicing witch, and often used the internet to get spells and information on the demons the gang would fight. However, when it turned out that she was truly Janna Calderash, a gypsy sent to make sure Angel did not loose his soul ("Suprise") both Giles and Buffy felt betrayed and she was outcasted from the group. She felt bad about betraying the gang, so she figured out the spell to get Angel's soul back. However, Angel caught wind of this and killed her before she performed the spell ("Passion"). She and Giles had a brief romance before her death.
