Flying Leap Terminal
This site is dedicated to my dad - my original partner on this LEAP*

(This site is under construction.)

Welcome to the Flying Leap Terminal! First an explanation of the name: At the start of third season (1991/1992) of Quantum Leap, NBC, in all their infinite wisdom, opted to move the show back to it's original night - Friday. History was once again repeating itself - the show was getting hammered in the ratings. After receiving an overwhelming amount of letters complaining about the move (in the neighborhood of half a million letters), NBC agreed to move the show back to Wednesday nights, the night that "Quantum Leap" had been doing great on. The week the show returned to Wednesday nights, the following was part of NBC's ad in TV Guide® - "Thousands of you demanded NBC take a flying leap...So we did!"

Introduction: I'm not going to tell you that this will be the best Quantum Leap site you’ll find on the net. I will, however, point you in the direction of the best sites dedicated to the show I have found, along with those dedicated to just Scott or Dean. And then there are pictures. Yes, there are some that will make you say, “If I see that picture one more time, I’m going to scream!” But there are also pictures that I have yet to find on any of the sites I have checked out. Some of the pictures are from the TV Guide® ads from when Quantum Leap originally ran on NBC - even some advertising programs Scott or Dean had done prior to or since. (My picture credit rule is to give credit to the original source: the show and/or the publication and, if known, the photographer. And when I do use a picture from another site, that site will be the last credit mentioned – even if they are the ones who scanned them or took the screen capture/grab. I do that because the item wouldn’t exist without the original creators. If you wish to use pictures from here on your site, while it would be nice to have a link back to here, it is more important you remember to credit the original creators first.) There are also reprints of articles/blurbs from my vast collection. Since some of the articles in my collection can also be found elsewhere on the net, I have included a link to those. (Why clutter the net with yet another copy of the same article?) And there is, of course, the ever popular Episode Guide. Not only is there the usual stuff you find in them, but you will also find actor connections - if one of the guests have appeared in another episode, or another program that Donald Bellisario worked on in one capacity or another, or have worked with Scott and/or Dean on any other project. (Most of that information, I give thanks to Internet Movie Database - a.k.a. IMDb.com.) As I have touched on before, there are also things from the other projects that Scott and Dean have done. Most of the same guidelines apply.
