Tobias borrows clothes from Lindsay's closet to fit in with the alleged pirate theme of George's retirement party. He inadvertently mixes in with a group of homo sexuals protesting the marina's ban. (flashback: "The Pilot")

Michael discovers he is in line to become CEO of the company, but he gets passed over his mother, allegedly to keep him out of jail. The Securities and Exchange Commission invades the yacht even with Lucille trying to get Buster to take it out to sea. Maeby kisses George Michael trying to get her mother's attention, but the ploy fails. George Michael, however, develops a hesitant infatuation for his cousin. (plot: "The Pilot")

At the police station, the family learns that the FBI has frozen their company assets barring an investigation. Michael is offended by where the family's priorities lie and decides to break ties with them. Tobias arrives with the arrested homo sexuals and announces he's going to become an actor. Gob buys a dove for his magic act and barely out the door of the pet store kills it. (flashback: "Top Banana")

 

2003, November 3, Monday

Lindsay and Tobias flee the Four Seasons Hotel with Maeby to avoid being charged for it. (Flashback: "The Pilot")

Tobias attends an open audition in Community Theater. (Flashback: "The Pilot")

GOB is banned from the Magician’s Alliance and discovers he's barred from taking any magician's jobs. Rollo replaces him in the alliance. (Flashback: "The Pilot" / “Storming The Castle”)

Michael has a job interview with Sitwell Housing and is offered a position in the company in Phoenix. Buster tries to do Michael's job, but has an anxiety attack from trying to do it. Lucille realizes she needs to get Michael to take his job back and attempt an intervention to convince him. After it fails, he offers his resignation to his father in prison. George claims it was to protect Michael from going to jail with him as a husband and wife cannot be tried together. Michael is pretty sure that’s not true; George realizes he has lousy lawyers. While getting ready to move out, George Michael discovers Lindsay trying to loot the model home for valuables to sell for cash. When Michael gets back, he and Lindsay bond over her current marriage and financial woes with the rest of their siblings joining in over a board game without George Sr. or Lucille present. Michael visits his father in prison to get the company flight records to do an audit, but George doesn't reveal where they are, instead asking Michael to give a job to T-Bone, an arsonist about to be freed from prison. Michael returns to the model home to discover no has left the house. He gets George Michael to hire Maeby at the Banana Stand to teach her the value of a dollar. Her work ethic involves dipping her fingers in the chocolate and taking money from the cash register then tossing bananas away to "balance the register." (Plot: "Top Banana")

Michael visits Lucille trying to find the missing records, but she steers the conversation to Michael giving GOB a job somewhere in the company. (Plot: "Top Banana")

Michael gives GOB a job of delivering a letter at his mother’s insistence, but GOB tosses the latter into the ocean. (plot: "Top Banana")

T-Bone gets out of prison. He gets a job at the Banana Stand through George after torching the storage unit for him. (plot: "Top Banana")

Unable to locate the flight records through his mother, Michael claims the IRS will be investigating her for new purchases. As he predicts, Lucille sends their maid to the storage unit with her furs, but Michael arrives just moments after it has burned down by way of arson. (plot: "Top Banana")

Tobias searches for work as an actor and finds an ad for commercial auditions, but he over-blows the audition. The talent director is Roger Danish, Lindsay’s high school classmate who thinks she’d be perfect for it. (plot: "Top Banana")

Michael and his son burn down the Banana Stand. Gob discovers the letter he was supposed to burn down was the insurance on it. (plot: "Top Banana")

A convict uses the stair car to escape as Michael learns from George that Lucille has yet to visit him. Michael stops by the penthouse to get his mother to visit George in prison. Michael returns to the model home, and GOB reveals he seduced Kitty, but he actually repulsed after hearing Michael pimped their mother to their dad. During a record heat wave, Michael learns his father never filed the building permits. Kitty recommends he use his father’s car to get to the prison and learns GOB has been driving it. He confronts him about it at the Banana Stand where he learns he has also been getting a free topping heavy banana for some time. GOB goes to his mother to complain about the situation. Michael asks Lindsay about the whereabouts of their father’s car and learns there’s a schedule for it he is not a part of. Their conversation turns to who is more charitable between them. (Plot: “Charity Drive”)

Michael rides his bike to see his mother as she’s getting ready for the charity bachelorette auction. Lucille criticizes him for not letting GOB have his free bananas from the stand. Michael asks Buster about their father’s car and gets the keys. After viewing the damage to it and Buster’s skull, he heads out to the prison to see his dad who tells him to get GOB to sneak the permits into the permit office. (Plot: “Charity Drive”)

At the model home, Michael tells GOB he’s selling the yacht and gives him 48 hours to vacate it. Lindsay is planning a birthday party for her mother, but Michael learns his mother actually planned it. Michael wakes up at the penthouse with a head injury treated by Dr. Miller who gets a call from next door after Buster crashes through the glass door on Lucille 2’s balcony. (Plot: “My Mother, the Car”)

George Michael heads to the yacht to see GOB and hears GOB’s date jump over board and swim up around it. He asks GOB for fake ID’s for him and Maeby to go see “Les Cousins Dangereux,” but when GOB hears that Michael is laid up at the penthouse, he plots to sail to South America with the yacht. Lindsay visits her father in jail again in yet another outfit. George asks her to stop showing up because he’s going broke paying off the inmates not to kill him or harass her. (Plot: “My Mother, the Car”)

Convinced he tried to hurt GOB on his scooter, Michael tells GOB he can keep the yacht, but GOB realizes the truth and heads to the penthouse to rectify the matter after locking their mother out on the balcony. Lindsay reveals the last piece after learning from her father that Lucille had been hiding gold krugerrands in the energy bars to smuggle into George in prison. Barry Zuckerkorn is sued by his assistant with attorney Wayne Jarvis for referring to him as a homosexual. He loses the case and has to pay $300,000 in damages. He meets the Bluth family at the penthouse to discuss George, but he wastes most of their time on a phone call. He has arranged for George to be released on a $20,000 bond for the Living Classics Pageant on Christmas Eve, but Michael loses faith in Barry and wants to replace him with Wayne Jarvis. Buster announces his reluctance to stay in the pageant; Tobias becomes interested in the role. (Plot: “In God We Trust”)

Lucille feels threatened by Michael and Lindsay getting along. When Maeby appears late, upset that her parents forgot her, Lucille uses the circumstances to stir dissension between Lindsay and Michael.

GOB doesn’t show up for the meeting to spend the morning with Marta. When he leaves her house, he passes by Michael studying Spanish in the stair car. (Plot: “In God We Trust”)

When Lindsay returns to the model home, she undergoes yoga to get over her anger but falls asleep. Buster shows up as well to get George Michael to replace him in the pageant. GM is interested until he discovers the frontispiece. While packing a suitcase to get her parents attention, Maeby complements the Adam suit on GM. (Plot: “In God We Trust”)

Lindsay wakes up and confronts Michael, but they realize their mother is the enemy. Over drinks, she confesses her marriage is in trouble and she’s in debt. Michael promises to help her.

Tobias meets with GM to get the Adam suit, but when GM refuses to give it up to impress Maeby, Tobias misunderstands and thinks GM is a “Never-Nude.” (Plot: “In God We Trust”)

Michael meets with Wayne Jarvis at his office, telling him his mother is reluctant to change lawyers. On arrival, Lucille re-stirs dissension between Michael and Lindsay before meeting Wayne Jarvis.

Returning to the penthouse, Lucille finds GOB hiding from Marta. Lindsay shows up to tell her mother she doesn’t need her help, but Lucille stirs her up again as well. Lindsay confronts Michael at his meeting with Wayne Jarvis only to both discover they’ve been manipulated again. They turn to Wayne for help, but he walks out on them. Lindsay reveals their mother is dating Barry and tries to get their father to catch them together. (Plot: “In God We Trust”)

Maeby makes a fake plane ticket for Portugal (thinking it’s in South America), but GOB finds it and thinks it belongs to Michael. (Plot: “In God We Trust”)

GM gets self-conscious upon seeing the portrait he’s creating. (Plot: “In God We Trust”)

At the pageant, Michael and Lindsay find their mother with Wayne and tell them their father is out of jail. Wayne hides as the pageant opens with GM in cut-offs as Adam. The crowd boos, but Buster thinks it’s about him appearing with Lucille 2. George escapes in the confusion with Michael in pursuit and GOB chasing them. Hearing Lucille is on a date, George rushes back and gets captured by police. The family spends the holiday in jail and stuck with Barry Zuckerkorn who reveals the bond is non-refundable. The SEC wants proof from Lucille she’s no longer making purchases on the business accounts. When Michael refuses to help, she goes to Lindsay who decides she’s not taking a firm hand with Maeby. Michael starts to suspect he has put too much pressure on GM to study and has him take a break. GM instead encounters Buster asking him for some marijuana for Lucille 2. When Michael comes by and gives him permission to slack off, Buster gives GM more money for the marijuana. GM goes to the docks trying to find GOB for the purchase on the family yacht. Tobias is still trying to get acting lessons from Carl after realizing all he’s learning is how to be frugal. Marta arrives with GOB and asks Michael if he’s seeing or interesting in anyone. Michael looks for a sign on his relationship with Maeby and finds her throwing things at her father’s head. In order to split up Tobias and Lucille 2, Lucille invites Carl Weathers to dinner with them without Tobias. George’s video-taped toast turns out to be one of his religious videotapes. GOB gets everyone chanting “speech” for one that never comes. Michael makes a toast to the family and the couples present, taking a moment to set GM and Maeby apart. After learning that GM made a Saddam Hussein collage for Mrs. Baerly, Michael starts seeing more similarities between one of Saddam Hussein’s homes to his model home in Sudden Valley. George prepares to meet Cindy Lightballoon again, but she turns out to be a FBI informant trying to implicate him. After George tries to cop a feel, the FBI thinks he’s found their hidden camera on Cindy and aborts the mission. (Plot: Shock and Aww)

GM asks Maeby for help to get revenge on GOB as Buster gets Annyong enrolled in school. Maeby invites Annyong to the dance and Michael realizes he’s competing with another uncle.

Michael arrives at the school to meet Beth and give her the collage. He breaks up with her because of GM, telling her that GM thinks she was seduced by GOB, a fact she considers unethical.

Lucille is preening Annyong to work at the banana stand when Michael arrives at the penthouse. Lucille reveals that she hasn’t received her paycheck from the company. He soon discovers Buster and Lindsay have been getting checks and tries giving them jobs. Realizing he’s been paying Lupe, he gives her the day off. He makes Lindsay a secretary and gives Buster a job on the construction site.

Kitty returns to work after two weeks with her new plastic surgery and asking for vacation time, but Michael fires her for not taking her job serious. She claims Michael doesn’t have the authority to fire her. The news gets back to George who talks to Michael at the prison, telling him that Kitty knows all the secrets about the company. Michael learns his father paid for Kitty’s implants. George tells Michael to hire her back to keep her quiet. (Plot: “Missing Kitty”)

Lindsay confronts Lucille trying to find out what happened to Nana. Lucille hides the remaining inheritance in an account under Annyong’s name. (Plot: “Missing Kitty”)

Michael finds GM hanging out with his mother during Spring Break while looking for Kitty. He gives GM a job at the office before finding Kitty at Senior Tadpole’s. He tries to peacefully hire her back, but she makes the scene a spectacle and walks out of the restaurant. (Plot: “Missing Kitty”)

In prison, Tobias psychoanalyzes White Power Bill, who ends up taking his own life. All the inmates suddenly have new respect for Tobias. (Plot: “Missing Kitty”)

GM is working as a replacement for Kitty at the office. George calls for Michael, but his son doesn’t accept it. He then calls GOB to get rid of a cooler marked “Maddas” in the yacht just before Little Justice appears for George to see another inmate named Dorothy. (Plot: “Missing Kitty”)

Lindsay and Maeby turn up at the office to inform Michael about Nana’s disappearance. Maeby asks GM about how GOB will make the yacht vanish and how he should be on the yacht to see how he does it. George discovers Tobias is Dorothy, and he has bought George to confront him over the animosity between them. (Plot: “Missing Kitty”)

GOB makes the yacht vanish by blowing it up, later signing a release to Philip Litt to use his act in a video. Lucille uses it as an excuse to “kill off” Nana before Lindsay confronts her with the truth. Maeby confesses GM was on it, but GM shows up alive at the office. Realizing it is her address, Maggie returns home and finds Tobias prowling her house. Meanwhile, Michael tests Justice, her seeing-eye dog who turns out isn’t blind. He realizes Maggie isn’t blind. George Michael shows up with “Surely” at the courthouse and hides from his father behind the Ten Commandments; Michael hides from Maggie behind the same monolith as Lindsay’s protest gets it removed, revealing GM and Michael to each other. (Plot: “Justice Is Blind”)

Tobias comes by asking Michael to help save his marriage as a way to get Lindsay to rejoin the Natural Good-Time Family-Band. He adds that Lindsay doesn’t take him serious. Tobias shows up wanting some of the company money ahead of GOB, who reveals “Amy” left him to join the Army. Michael suggests the two find a way to make money.

Michael ends up at the penthouse uncertain why he went there. He confesses he purchased Oscar’s worthless land and passed the mistake on to his father. Lucille hugs him and promises to fix things. She goes to meet Oscar at his trailer, passing Lindsay in the cage along the way. Oscar gives her the money back for the land, and she uses it to buy out Jordan and replace him on the board. GOB gets his VHS tape of “Girls of Low Self-Esteem: Newport Beach” with his magic act on it, but he’s dismayed when he discovers Philip Litt only used his seven bloopers. (Plot: “Not Without My Daughter” / “Spring Breakout”)

Michael notices Lindsay showing up with a new outfit purchased with her first paycheck, but she claims to have stolen it to hide the stigma of getting caught with a job. GOB is impressed by her “trick,” but Michael tries to get her to return it. He takes Maeby instead of GM with him to work to give her a better role model. Maeby decides to go to spite her parents, but she jumps out of the stair car twice en route.

Lucille calls looking for someone to pose as her escort to Annyong’s soccer game. When Michael refuses, she calls Oscar to do it. (Plot: “Not Without My Daughter”)

GOB thinks he has to take a polygraph test, but he mistakes Lindsay’s “beads” business for a bee business and decides to start one of his own. (Plot: “Let Them Eat Cake”)

As Michael starts to head to the prison to meet Barry and his parents, Kitty calls with a list of demands. George tells Michael to just give her what she wants. GOB gets tackled by the guards for having a jar of bees. (Plot: “Let Them Eat Cake”)

Tobias has his first book-reading, and Lindsay realizes he is far more oblivious than she thought. She realizes their relationship is over. (Plot: “Let Them Eat Cake”)

Michael confronts his father about the houses in Iraq unaware that Kitty is meeting with Buster. He turns down the polygraph test, but George accepts it as part of an escape attempt, faking a heart attack to get into the hospital and departing via the stair car. Michael gets stopped by the police outside of town, but they report to him that they have captured his father, but it’s actually Oscar in custody. Oscar is released to Lucille and Buster who offers him to stay at the penthouse. When Michael returns to confront his father, he meets Barry, but when Michael tells him he’s leaving for phoenix, Barry tells him the police will now be coming for him. Michael realizes he needs the company credit card. (Plot: “The One Where Michael Leaves”)

GOB sends a realtor named Dave Carr to look at the model home where he meets Lindsay and thinks she’s a buyer. She flirts with him for a date, but he sends her to look at another house. (Plot: “The One Where Michael Leaves”)

Michael returns to the model home looking for the company credit card. Lindsay tells him GOB has it. He goes to the office where GOB has moved in a pool table. He claims Lucille has the check book.

Lucille goes to talk about the news to GOB at the office and runs into a Michael Moore-impersonator asking about the houses in Iraq. Michael returns to the model home and looks for things his father might have sealed in the walls. He instead discovers Tobias in blue body make-up after becoming an understudy to the Blue Man Group. Tobias rushes to the theater, but Barry drives over him with his car. Everyone joins Tobias at the hospital and confess to Michael how much trouble they’re in. GOB has the papers he found, but George slips in disguised as Oscar and steals them. Dr. Fishman announces Tobias is dead, but only means he looks dead. In Mexico, George is getting tired of living with Kitty and realizes he’s made a huge mistake. He calls Michael at the office to keep the company going, but learns too late that he’s been actually talking to GOB, who hides the hurtful truth from Michael. George is arrested in Mexico when the police mistake him for Oscar who has a warrant for selling marijuana there. (Flashback: “The One Where They Build a House”)

Michael announces his plans for the second model home to be unveiled in two months, but GOB decides to make it available in two weeks. Michael asks to see his business model, but GOB produces Starla instead. Michael is worried about the reminders to Iraq hurting the company, but GOB insists all they have to do is build a fake house to impress the investors. Lucille tries to break things off with Oscar, but the news captures a photo of them kissing and spins it as her giving CPR to a homeless man. (Flashback: “The One Where They Build a House”)

Maeby tells Michael and Lindsay about Lucille in the newspaper. Lindsay is inspired by her mother’s “charity” to get Tom a job in Michael’s construction crew. Lucille calls Michael to give the house he’s building to Oscar. (Flashback: “The One Where They Build a House”)

Halfway to Panama, George sees the article with Lucille and Oscar and heads back, but he is caught by the Mexican police as a vagrant. (Flashback: “Good Grief”)

For two weeks, Michael, Buster, Oscar and Tom build the fake house. Buster tries injuring himself to stay out of the Army. GOB visits the house the day before the unveiling. Michael decides to date Starla to spite GOB but discovers GOB has already been with her. After GOB looks for compassion from Michael, he finally gets to cut the ribbon at the unveiling. At the unveiling, the fake house falls apart at the seams when GOB cuts the ribbon. Buster discovers Lucille with Oscar in the house’s interior. Michael and GOB read about their ugly incident in the newspaper and apologize. George calls from Mexican Prison, but they don’t take his call. That night, Lindsay realizes who Thomas Jane really is, and gets turned down by her. As she sits alone on the curb, Tobias appears in George Michael’s diamond cream to console her and ask for a ride to the hospital. (Flashback: “The One Where They Build a House”)

After another night in prison, George reveals he has money and buys his way out of prison. (Flashback: “Good Grief”)

 

2004, November 22, Monday

Michael prepares GOB’s shareholder statement, but he also gets a sense of Starla’s inept efficiency at her job. With Michael trying to get alone time with George Michael, Gob claims he’ll spend time with friends before Michael reminds him he doesn’t have any. Lucille comes by with news from private eye Gene Parmesan who has been looking for George. Gene reports he found the stair car abandoned in Encanta, Mexico before his cigar sets off the fire detector. Michael realizes bringing his father back can keep him out of jail. GOB starts to think Michael is escaping to jail to stick him with the business and hires a bounty hunter named Ice to keep an eye on him. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

Returning to the model home, Michael offers George Michael to ride along to Mexico to look for George, but he wants to be with Ann. Michael invites her along on the trip as well as Tobias to bring back his car with the stair car. Tobias, however, has to remain on call for the Blue Man Group. Lindsay tells him to take GOB, but Michael refuses because of GOB’s embarrassing chicken dance. He tells Lindsay she can bring Maeby. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

 

2004, November 22, Tuesday

The Mexican police stage George’s funeral under the cover he was shot by a guard. His boby is faked by a human-sized piñata filled with candy, and Kitty attends the funeral. (Flashback: “Good Grief”)

Lucille has a going away party for Buster joining the Army, but Buster asks for help to help him get out of it. Lindsay meets Ice and is attracted by him. After Lucille has Michael give Lupe a ride home, Buster stows away way in the car and gets out in Lupe’s Santa Ana neighborhood thinking he’s in Mexico. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

Annyong reveals Buster snuck off to Mexico, and Lucille decides to let Oscar stay with her. GOB comes by looking for Buster, but Lucille doesn’t let him in the door. Thinking he’s up to something, she hires Gene to keep an eye on him. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

Buster notices his old possessions in Lupe’s house. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

Michael looks for his father in Mexico during Kitty’s wake for George. Before he can enter the church, he’s tackled to the ground by Ice thinking he’s trying to get asylum. He gets Ice to continue the search for his father. Lindsay and George Michael take the car back as Michael and Maeby take the stair car back, leaving Ann behind in Mexico. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

George follows Lupe’s brother to work in the kitchens at Balboa Towers.  (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

GM notices Michael returned without Ann and they return to get her. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

GOB tries to get Tobias and Lindsay to spend time with him, but they have other plans. Lindsay is watching Ice, who tackles Tobias thinking he’s George. Ice starts to think Michael set him up and goes looking for him. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

Michael is tackled by GOB in Mexico, and they both run into Gene. GOB confesses he has no friends. He pays Gene and Ice to spend time with GOB and returns to Newport with Michael and Ann. (Plot: “!Amigos!”)

GOB gets the new issue of “POOF” magazine and begins his remote rivalry with Tony Wonder. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

Ice tracks down the facts on George’s “funeral” and makes arrangements to detail his investigation with the Bluth family. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

George Michael is now seeing Ann regularly, but she’s getting frustrated with Michael always interrupting their relationship and breaks up with him. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

Ice caters his meeting with the family at the penthouse. Maeby asks Barry Zuckerkorn on how to emancipate herself from her parents.  After Michael arrives, Ice arrives and reveals that after George fled to Mexico he was arrested and then killed by a guard. Ice produces dental records and a death certificate. Lucille checks Oscar’s hair. Maeby sees a chance to fix up her mother, and GOB sees the funeral as a way to upstage Tony Wonder. Buster arrives back without hearing the news. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

Michael tells GM the sad news about George and consoles him over Egg/Ann. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

Michael notices GM sneaking food to the model home of the attic and thinks he’s hiding Ann up there. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

Michael and Lindsay discuss their feelings about their father. Tobias notices his hard-boiled eggs missing. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

GOB reuses George’s hole for the trick during his father’s wake. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

Maeby uses her mother’s grief to get her to pursue Ice. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

George watches his wake from the attic, and GM notices Ann is attending. Buster attends wearing what he thinks is a uniform to the birthday/wake. GM gives a speech. George is more interested in the food being served. Even after GM confesses to hiding George in the attic, Michael thinks he’s still referring to Ann. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

Buster ruins GOB’s act, but in the ruins, Michael realizes the truth. He finds George in the attic and fakes his escape. He makes the announcement just as Maeby is fixing up Lindsay with Ice who now runs off to pursue George. GM reveals he and Ann are back together. (Plot: “Good Grief”)

While Michael prepares breakfast for his father, Oscar confesses he’s no longer interested in Lucille and reveals Buster’s problems in basic training. Hidden in the attic, George overhears Lucille being with Oscar. Michael worries about George Michael’s vision as far his appreciation for Ann and makes an eye exam for him to get glasses. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Wayne Jarvis meets with GOB over George’s possible treason. After giving him minutes to think about the situation, they find him coming close to hanging himself from the repairs in the office. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Tobias gets a new phone. Lindsay loses her voice after spending every night in single’s clubs. She meets Steve Holt who Maeby has had delivering things to get to the model home. Steve thinks Lindsay is Maeby’s sister. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Michael finds George wearing Tracy’s old maternity clothes. He’s depressed that Lucille is with Oscar. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

GM has his eye exam and is prescribed glasses. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Michael learns Wayne Jarvis is the new prosecutor. He tries to trade George’s whereabouts for immunity to charges. In private, Michael confides in Barry that George returned over Lucille’s interest in Oscar. Barry tells him to stall until learning the terms of the plea. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

On leave, Buster goes to Tobias at the model home for help to get over the wall. Tobias tells him to find a person to motivate him, and after GOB shows up to avoid the office, Buster asks for his help. Tobias borrows GOB’s expensive cell phone. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Michael checks on Lucille and Oscar at the penthouse. Oscar realizes he wants out, and Michael tries convincing him to leave to spare his father. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

As Tobias struggles to understand GOB’s phone, Lindsay meets Maeby and Steve at high school to be flirted at again. Getting jealous, Maeby convinces Steve that Lindsay is her transvestite father. On the playground, Buster tries to get GOB to motivate him, but GOB is too crushed after his encounter with Wayne Jarvis. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Michael tells George about Wayne Jarvis’s deal and that Oscar is leaving Lucille. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Lindsay sees Steve again on his break at work who is amazed that she/he looks so womanly. They make a lunch date. (Flashback: “Sad Sack”)

Meeting with Wayne Jarvis again, Michael learns he has what appears to be satellite images of Iraq lifted from the Bluth Company server under the patriot act. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Lucille stops by the model home and tells Lindsay she’s having a “tingly” time with Oscar. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

After Lucille departs, Michael returns to the model home to confront his father over the satellite photos, but he runs into Lindsay instead. When she reveals that their mother stopped by talking about Oscar, Michael enters the attic and discovers their father missing. He calls his mother looking for him while George impersonates Oscar to be with Lucille, but learning the truth, he walks out on her. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Wayne goes public with the satellite photos, and Buster’s unit is sent out to investigate. To go with them, Buster is pushed by GOB to do the obstacle course and gets punched in the stomach. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Maeby and GM get a half day in school. Lindsay overhears her daughter likes Steve and decides to step back from him. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

George returns to the attic deflated and finds Michael waiting for him. He gives Michael permission to turn him in to save himself and the company. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

On Michael’s second meeting with Wayne Jarvis that day, Barry reveals the photos are “balls” were unknowingly captured by Tobias with GOB’s phone. (Plot: “Sad Sack”)

Michael has the company crane to have the Banana Stand rescued out of the bay where it was dumped by vandals. He returns to the model home where he finds GOB wearing one of his father’s old suits. Michael lets him know he’s been alienating the employees, but GOB doesn’t believe him. (Plot: “Afternoon Delight”)

Maeby decides not to attend the company Christmas party. Lindsay supports the decision in order to attract dates. Tobias is on call for the Blue Man Group. Lindsay gets Maeby out of school early in order to not miss the company Christmas Party. Maeby ends up at the Banana Stand where she meets Michael and accompanies him to the party where GOB tries to force everyone to party. Lucille shows up to report the stolen liquor. Michael calls Tobias to check on Lucille later at the penthouse, but he thinks it’s the Blue man Group calling for him and starts applying his make-up. (Plot: “Afternoon Delight”)

Lindsay shows up for the party, but she dismayed when no one hits on her. She notices the employees sticking stuff on GOB’s suit. Michael arrives late from the Veal Party. Michael sings karokee with Maeby, but he notices the song a bit too late is inappropriate. GOB stands to accept his toast, but he learns he doesn’t have anyone’s respect and fires everyone. Michael and Maeby set up the Banana Stand for a new office party and re-hire everyone. Lucille shows up to report the break-in by Tobias and asks to move in to the model home. Michael and Maeby go in search of Oscar to get him back. They find him while fueling for gas. (Plot: “Afternoon Delight”)

Lindsay discovers Tobias’s injuries and resulting deafness after Lucille. Even though Tobias tells them he can’t fall asleep, Lindsay learns from GM that Maeby is now spending time with Michael. Lindsay invites GM to the party.

George Michael is out with Ann and not helping Maeby with her homework. Michael says he’ll help, but Maeby clearly wants him to do it for her. Neither Tobias nor Lindsay responds to this fact. Meanwhile, the refrigerator is collapsing into the garage.  (Plot: “Switch Hitter”)

Tobias learns he has a role in an up-coming movie and drags Maeby along to help. Lindsay takes Teamocil to repress her sex drive. (Plot: “Switch Hitter”)

At the office, GM meets his father and talks about the company football team. GM tries to get Ann on the team, but Michael already has Lindsay on the team and makes Ann back-up. Out on furlough, Buster shows up at the model home looking for someone to spend time with. Tobias volunteers, but his homo sexual response has Michael recommending he tape and listen back to his strange way of talking. GOB shows up to reveal he was fired from Sitwell Enterprises. GOB wants back in the Bluth Company, but Michael resists. However, he’s perturbed when he learns everyone in the family got free cars but him during their father’s control of the company. Michael tries confronting George with this fact, but George just complains about being bored.  (Plot: “Queen for a Day”)

Lucille locks Buster out on the balcony to hear he’s with Lucille Austero again. When Starla comes by with papers, Michael puts her and Buster together. He also discovers his mother extended her bathroom into Lucille 2’s apartment. He discovers she paid for the work by selling Bluth Company stocks. Lindsay, GOB and Tobias also sells their stock which reduces their controlling stock in the company. When Michael tries to chide them for being selfish, George Michael comes in after seeing his father’s corvette. (Plot: “Queen for a Day”)

At the office, Barry Zuckerkorn informs Michael and Gob they lost controlling interest to Lucille 2. They fear they lost the company to Stan Sitwell, but Lucille reveals it’s actually Lucille Austero’s Standpoor Company. Lucille shows up at the model home to get Michael to bid on her at the Annual Balboa Club Charity Auction. Lindsay finds her and asks for a fur for her date with Moses Taylor. (Plot: “Burning Love”)

Michael gives his Valentine’s Day package to Tobias to share with Lindsay, but after hearing his veiled gay entendres about it, he suggests Tobias tape his comments for a day to examine later.

After Michael gives Lindsay his Valentine’s Day package to share with Tobias, she balks at the idea of it then teases Michael for not being able to ask Sally out on it. GOB briefly chimes in on the teasing before mentioning his paranoia with Lucille controlling the company. Michael sends Lindsay to check out Sitwell Industries to see if he’s planning anything with Lucille 2. (Plot: “Ready, Aim, Marry Me”)

Michael returns to the model home and finds his father with his arm stuck under the furnace. After discussing Lucille owning the majority shares, George mentions borrowing money from Jack Dorso. (Plot: “Ready, Aim, Marry Me”)

Lindsay neglects to follow-through at Sitwell Enterprises. (Plot: “Ready, Aim, Marry Me”)

The family gathers at the penthouse to meet Jack Dorso, who becomes fond of Buster for being a soldier, but he also becomes attracted to Lindsay after realizing Lucille didn’t age as well as he thought. Lindsay is instead attracted to Dragon, Jack’s deaf personal assistant. She wants Dragon to replace Tobias on their Valentine’s Day package. (Plot: “Ready, Aim, Marry Me”)

On the balcony, Michael finally asks Jack for the money to buy back controlling interest in Bluth Company, but he will only do it after a date with Lindsay. Michael gets her to go on the date, but only after telling her it’s with Dragon. (Plot: “Ready, Aim, Marry Me”)

Buster goes to visit Lucille 2, but GOB answers the door in his robe. GOB claims he’s only dating her to see if she plans to sell their company to Stan Sitwell, and Buster offers to help keep an eye on her. (Plot: “Ready, Aim, Marry Me”)

 

2005, February 14, Monday - Valentine’s Day

Michael tells his father how he had to “pimp” out Lindsay to get the money from Jack Dorso and hears from Maeby that Tobias has headed to the Four Seas Hotel to be with Lindsay. He unwittingly has to share the package with Tobias to keep him from learning Lindsay is there with Dragon with Jack in attendance who thinks he’s dating Lindsay. Stan Sitwell is also in attendance with Lucille Austero with Buster and GOB following them. The two accidentally crash Michael and Tobias, but when Tobias learns Lindsay is there with someone, he crashes in on Stan and Lucille 2. Buster and GOB start fighting over Lucille 2. When Tobias finds Lindsay with Dragon and Jack, Jack has Dragon toss him at Tobias. Embarrassed, Lucille 2 threatens to seel the company and runs off with Stan offering to buy it. Michael lets Lindsay know how his relationship with Sally is going and confesses he’s not sure how GM feels about the relationship, but Lindsay says he’s just looking for a reason to stop the relationship. GOB reveals that “Amy” has contacted him to get a divorce, but he can’t remember her name. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

Lucille eavesdrops at Michael, Lindsay and GOB and tries to find out from them why he wants to meet her at the beach. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

On the way to school, George Michael sees Maeby driving her car from Tandamount Studio and George with the car from the Ford Dealership. (Flashback: Sword of Destiny)

Buster meets with Lucille at the beach for new photos before he ships out with the Army to Iraq, but Lucille thinks he’s just trying to abandon her. At the penthouse, Oscar tries to convince Lucille that Buster is going off to war. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

Michael and GOB meet with Barry at the courthouse to finalize GOB’s divorce. Michael learns that the defense in Barry’s case is his old flame Maggie Lizer, who turns out to be pregnant. Michael meets with her and starts speculating her child might be his even though she says he isn’t. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

On a date with Sally, Michael tells her about his possible child with Maggie Lizer, but she thinks he’s just not looking for an excuse to break up with her. At the model home, Lindsay also agrees with Sally, but GOB encourages him to get her urine checked. Lindsay and Tobias volunteer to get the specimen. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

Lucille shows up to complain about Buster going to Iraq to get away from her. Tobias tries to analyze her denial, but he does into denial after she insults his analysis. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

Michael visits Maggie at her house and discovers her living with her client, Loretta, and waiting for a pizza. Maggie once again denies her child isn’t Michael’s, going with him to get drinks. Meanwhile, Tobias and Lindsay sneak in to the house to get a urine sample from Maggie but they instead get one from Loretta. Lindsay discovers Maggie purchased a fake pregnant belly. She finally claims the baby is Michael’s. (Plot: “Out on a Limb” / “Hand to God”)

George sneaks into the penthouse disguised as Oscar letting him know it is okay to hide and tells him that he’s his father, but Tobias comes to the conclusion that Oscar is his father. He confronts Lucille with the revelation, and she snaps out of her denial. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

GM and Maeby take Ann to meet Lucille who is distraught over losing Buster. Ann shows Lucille the power of prayer. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

Michael takes Maggie home to the model home to meet GM, but when he checks his messages, he hears about the fake belly and turns on her who flashes her huge belly at him before departing. Lindsay and Tobias then enter with the results on the urine confirming it’s positive. (Plot: “Out on a Limb”)

 

2005, March 9, Wednesday

Barry visits Michael still working in the store room at the Bluth company. He reveals the fat suit was for Maggie’s client then adds he’s Maggie’s lawyer in a paternity suit against him. (Tag: “Out on a Limb”)

Lucille prays to God to take anything he wants to keep Buster from going off to war. Waiting at the bus stop, Buster gets the idea to go in the ocean even as a life guard warns him about a loose seal. The seal attacks Buster and bites off his hand. (Tag: “Out on a Limb”)

Ann’s church group tries to get the TV series “Nip/Tuck” off the air. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

 

2005, March 10, Thursday

Michael meets with George Michael to let him know he was dating Maggie Lizer once more but has broken things off with her. He plans to do something with GM just as Lucille calls to report Buster lost his hand and in the hospital. She swerves to miss George test-driving the Ford Escape. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

The family meets in the hospital to hear about Buster. Dr. Fishman returns to report Buster is “all right” after losing his left hand. Buster seems positive and enrages Michael to pursue Maggie until the shock hits him. Lucille blames herself for praying to God to take his hand. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Michael goes to confront Maggie and apologize to her. She claims again the baby isn’t Michael’s, but he still wants to be with her. Officer Taylor and Officer Carter approach her after checking out her house. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Buster returns home in good spirits, but when GOB hears the seal that bit him had a yellow bow tie, he realizes it was the one he dumped into the ocean. GOB vows to hunt down the seal. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Lindsay commends Michael for wanting to help her raise her child, but she gets frustrated as he starts wondering if Maggie is still lying. He asks Lindsay and Tobias if they know where Maeby is, thinking she’s on a school field trip when she’s actually making on a boat with a film crew making “The Old Man and the Sea.” (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Michael asks Lindsay and Tobias to break into Maggie’s house again looking for the identity of her baby’s father, but they won’t do it. He instead gets George Michael to do it, but he instead takes the note left on the door for her. Officer Taylor shows up to reveal his partner, Officer Carter, is watching the inside of the house. GOB goes out to sea with a bunch of cats trying to re-catch “Amy’s” lost seal, but he gets noticed by Maeby on her studio boat. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Michael has Gene Parmesan trace the phone number on the note from Maggie’s door to the home of Officer Taylor and Officer Carter. They reveal it is their baby that Maggie is carrying. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

In court, Barry tries to prove Loretta isn’t fat, but it turns out she’s pregnant. When she goes into labor, Maggie fakes her water breaking to get out of the trial. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

At the pier, Maeby convinces GOB to tell the truth to Buster. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Lucille begs God to take GOB and restore Buster’s hand just before he near-fatally stabs Oscar with his claw. GOB shows up to apologize and Buster attacks him. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Officer Taylor, Officer Carter, Michael and GM head to the hospital to meet Maggie’s child who reveals she outsourced their specimen to Loretta. Maggie confesses she never thought Michael would stay around to actually raise her baby. GM watches Loretta’s baby being born before getting lost in the morgue. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Michael and Maggie have one last fling before finally breaking up entirely. (Plot: “Hand to God”)

Lucille shows up early at the model home and runs into Michael, trying to get him to attend Motherboy with her. He turns it down and criticizes Lucille for not being there for him. Lindsay learns there was a Motherboy version for fathers and daughters, but her father just never took her to it. She also opines over Tobias becoming even more clueless. (Plot: “Motherboy XXX”)

George is getting increasing lonely for company, but when George Michael and Maeby come up to the attic looking for camping supplies, he hides. Michael comes up to send them back down, and George tries to get Michael to not have GM on a Promised Land outing with Ann. (Plot: “Motherboy XXX”)

When Michael tries to dissuade GM from attending Promise Land, Maeby learns she can get out of school for it and asks how to get “one of those T-necklaces.” (Plot: “Motherboy XXX”)

At the office, Michael runs into GOB looking for Barry Zuckerkorn. GOB reveals that “Amy’s” lawyers are also suing for the price of the seal he released. GM spends the day with Buster to cheer him up, but Lucille gets the idea to take GM to Motherboy, dressing him in a sailor suit as her companion. (Plot: “Motherboy XXX”)

Michael learns from Buster that Lucille took GM to Motherboy. After realizing they’ve only found a shark that bit off part of the seal, they go to rescue GM. After accidentally rescuing a young boy, Buster realizes that Lucille would have changed costumes. He goes to the roof to zip-line into Lucille’s room, but he falls and crashes into the room of the earlier boy. Discovering Buster’s hook landing without him, Lucille changes rooms and costumes. GOB shows up looking for the family video camera to tape himself doing magic at the office which gets them reflecting on George Michael’s “Star Wars” video. Michael decides he has to work on George Michael’s self-esteem and finds him in his bedroom with Ann planning to run for student body president. (Plot: “Immaculate Election”)

Lupe starts feeling sorry for Buster. (Plot: “Immaculate Election”)

Lindsay “cleans” the house by putting several random objects in a bag she dumps in the attic. She finds Polly, one of her old dolls to sell on EBay, unaware its one of her father’s “friends.” As he peruses the bag, George becomes a Christian reading from one of Ann’s Christian brochures. At the office, GOB disrupts a meeting with his magic tricks. Michael fires him, but GOB fires him instead, still thinking he’s president of the company. When GOB calls security to throw Michael out, he’s the one who gets dragged out of the office. Michael runs into Maeby and accidentally reveals that Tobias has moved out of the model home. When he asks as to why she’s not in school, she momentarily uses her “Marry Me” distraction on him before claiming to be running off fliers for GM’s election. Michael worries that GM will be crushed in the election so he goes to his father for help and finds him now a Christian. He turns to GOB to help GM’s election. (Plot: “Immaculate Election”)

Michael discovers a company contract has been cut back, but Lindsay cuts the call short to get him to hire Tobias as his assistant in order to get rid of Mrs. Featherbottom. Showing up for the job, Tobias turns in a resume. Starla fears for her job. Ted tries to suggest moving to a new floor to save on rent, but Tobias strong-arms him out of the office. He accuses Michael of trying to control everything. Michael stars having abdomen pains. (Plot: “Sword of Destiny”)

GOB visits “Ancient Chinese Secret” for a Chinese Viagra and instead buys a Chinese sword for his act. Still banned from performing, he tries to get Michael to help him in his act, but Michael turns him down. Michael goes to teach George Michael to drive, but he also discovers his father making a video to keep his presence known at the office. (Plot: “Sword of Destiny”)

Michael instructs GM how to handle the stair car, but with his pains getting worse, he has GM drive him to the hospital. His pains turn out to be appendicitis requiring surgery. Tobias promises to keep the office going, and Lindsay promises to teach GM to drive. Dr. Fishman is Michael’s doctor, but he passes the surgery on to Dr. Stein. (Plot: “Sword of Destiny”)

GOB drafts Buster to be the starring performer in his act. They meet Tony Wonder at the Gothic Castle who lets them know he’s the main act. During the show, GOB accidentally chops off Buster’s hand and everyone thinks is the main act. (Plot: “Sword of Destiny”)

Michael wakes up from his surgery and discovers that Lindsay and Tobias have defied his requests. The doctor wants to keep him longer for an infection which complicates things when Starla turns in George’s video to the news. (Plot: “Sword of Destiny”)

GOB and Buster meet with Tony to get a part of his up-coming video but when all he wants is Buster, GOB reveals his identity and announces he’ll be doing the real trick. (Plot: “Sword of Destiny”)

Michael wakes from his second surgery and hears he may have to stay longer after Dr. Stein reveals he might have left snippers inside him. Lucille and GM show up to reveal the FBI is investigating the video. Michael leaves to make sure the company is okay ahead of Tobias bringing the FBI trying to talk to Michael only to discover his empty bed. (Plot: “Sword of Destiny”)

Michael finds the offices abandoned only to realize Ted went ahead with moving the company a floor down for cheaper rent. GM accidentally hits Michael with the car. (Plot: “Sword of Destiny”)

Tobias serves breakfast as Mrs. Featherbottom then meets Michael coming home without his Mrs. Featherbottom disguise trying to perpetuate the idea they’re separate people. He is unaware everyone knows the truth in order to have him keep doing the housework, particularly Maeby who gets him to iron her blouse. (Plot: “Meet the Veals”)

Lucille reveals to Michael that Oscar wants to throw her an Anniversary Party. Buster thinks it’s a ploy to increase her importance to him. GOB is interested in the party until Lucille nixes his plans to bring back Franklin. Lindsay reveals GM’s intention to give Ann a ring. (Plot: “Meet the Veals”)

GOB pulls his ventriloquist dummy, Franklin, out of storage in the attic and finds out that it’s where his father has been hiding. George procures his help to get a limo and take Lucille to a church to repeat their vows. (Plot: “Meet the Veals”)

Michael drives GM to see Ann and meet their parents. He tries to get their help to curtail GM getting serious with Ann, but they like the idea of the two getting together. Michael then plans to have the Veals meet their family to disapprove of them. He invites GOB to the Anniversary Party and has him bring Franklin. (Plot: “Meet the Veals”)

Tobias hurts his ankle trying to imitate Mary Poppins. (Plot: “Meet the Veals”)

GOB drives his father in a limo to the party. When George says hello to Tobias, Tobias realizes his disguise fools no one. George has GOB dose Lucille and kidnap her for the church. When GM learns the party is to break up him and Ann, he notices Mrs. Veal kissing Michael and runs off to find Ann. Michael then rushes to find them after exposing Tobias disguise as Mrs. Featherbottom. At the church, Oscar fights George for Lucille’s wife as Pastor Veal attacks Michael for kissing his wife. GM decides for himself he’s not ready to be in a committed relationship with Ann. The police arrest Franklin as an accessory as George flees in the confusion. (Plot: “Meet the Veals”)

At Tandamount Studios, Maeby is sent by Mort Meyers to learn how real teenagers talk during Spring Break to adjust their movie. (Plot: “Spring Breakout”)

Michael has a meeting with land-owner Cal Cullen, but he is wary of the Bluth Family because of the “ScandalMakers” episode, a fact made even more awkward by Lucille showing up late for the board meeting. (Plot: “Spring Breakout”)

Michael tries talking GOB and Lindsay into having another intervention for Lucille, but they change their minds after their failed attempt a year earlier. GOB is upset he is not getting magician jobs since Philllip Litt embarrassed him while Tobias is grousing about criticism over his acting and praise for Dave Attell’s erroneous portrayal of him in “ScandalMakers.” Lindsay decides to lash out at Phillip Litt for exploiting young girls. She hits GOB several times for accusing her for not being shapely. (Plot: “Spring Breakout”)

Michael makes a new appointment to meet Cal Cullen when Kitty shows up to flash her chest again and blackmail him with her demands. Realizing his father is missing, he also learns that Buster has been found drunk and contacts him about rescuing George which requires freeing Lucille to meet Kitty. Michael gets GOB to help after Lindsay’s bickering with GOB convinces her to exploit Phillip Litt right back. Heading to Shady Pines, Michael talks with his mother who offers to help for a real spa weekend with him. GOB distracts the front desk with Oscar to slip Lucille out of the place. Lucille meets Kitty at Senior Tadpole’s Tavern. She challenges Kitty to a drinking contest, but Lucille’s tolerance to alcohol proves greater. (Plot: “Spring Breakout”)

With the Blue Man Group having dropped their restraining order, Tobias is invited by them to work with them in Las Vegas. GOB shows up upset that he didn’t hear from Michael about the DVD he made for him. He heads to the model home to knock-out his father with Franklin soaked in ether. Tobias tells Lindsay about his plan for moving to Las Vegas, but she decides they should break up again. (Plot: “Righteous Brothers”)

While driving to the police station to turn in George, GOB discovers Michael never opened the CD to him and holds it up, getting photographed by a traffic camera with Michael’s face over his own. (Plot: “Righteous Brothers”)

Michael meets with Kitty who has met a sponsor and cleaned up her life. However, she still flashes her chest as Tobias returns to get his job back. Michael fixes Tobias up with Kitty. (Plot: “Righteous Brothers”)

Michael meets with Wayne Jarvis to sign an agreement that he has no idea where his father is, but Wayne uses the traffic camera picture as grounds to have Michael arrested. After hiding his father under the model home, GOB shows up at the station upset over the CD. (Plot: “Righteous Brothers”)

Michael also reveals he’s going to turn in GOB, but when he finally hears the CD, he decides to take the blame for hiding his father. Hearing the CD again himself, GOB decides to follow through and turn in their father. He discovers washing Franklin with ether washes all the color out of him. At the penthouse, Lucille breaks up with Oscar for telling Buster the truth. (Plot: “Righteous Brothers”)

At the theater, Maeby finds GM protesting “Dangerous Cousins” with Ann. GM returns to the model home and learns from Buster his father is in jail. Lindsay arrives upset with Tobias and tells GM to pursue love. Maeby arrives to reveal the press has proved positive for the movie. She kisses GM, but as the living room sinks lower, they share a bigger kiss. GOB shows up looking for George who he had hidden under the house. (Plot: “Righteous Brothers”)

On his way out of town, Oscar runs into George in the stair car asking him to turn him in and use the reward to help the family. At the courthouse, he knocks Oscar out, shaves his head and dresses him up in his clothes in the men’s room. (Plot: “Righteous Brothers”)

Barry Zuckerkorn takes Michael to his arraignment, but GOB shows up to reveal their father escaped again. The confrontation turns to a fight with Lindsay coming to face Kitty, who takes her down with one punch. George shows up to stop the fighting and says he’s turning himself in to save the family. With Lindsay on the ground, Tobias tells her he’s going to Las Vegas with Kitty. (Plot: “Righteous Brothers”)

Lucille stops by the model home and finds Michael watching “Mad Money” where the company is raised to a “Don’t Buy.” He plans to visit his father in jail. Lucille tries to get Michael to let Tobias move in to get rid of him since he started snoring. He suggests his mother go to the cabin to get away from Buster. (Plot: “The Cabin Show”)

GOB shows up and grieves over never getting invited to the cabin. Michael offers to take him up there while they have a chance. (Plot: “The Cabin Show”)

Michael finds George Michael sleeping in the stair car to avoid Maeby, but he thinks he was just trying to spend time with him. He invites him up to the cabin then turns around and lets GOB down, who now realizes getting non-invited is worse than not get invited. (Plot: “The Cabin Show”)

Michael goes to visit his father in jail and discovers it’s really his uncle in jail. He heads to the office where the employees are partying about the new rating. Lindsay is there looking for a car, and Michael reveals to her and GOB that it’s Oscar in jail. When he asks if they’ve heard anything from their father, GOB recalls a letter from the “Sons And Dads Reunion Project” and thinks it’s from George trying to contact him. Michael learns from Barry’s assistant that Barry has been visiting his father in Reno and goes there to find him. At the model home, he cancels his camping trip with GM but encourages him to try camping with Maeby. (Plot: “The Cabin Show”)

Michael finds Tobias working as a waiter in the Swallows Restaurant/Strip Joint in Reno. Tobias confesses he wrecked his life leaving Lindsay for a role he didn’t get and that Kitty left him two days prior. Michael tells Tobias that Lindsay might want him back, but he also realizes his father might be in Reno as well. He calls Lindsay to tell her he found Tobias and gets her to want him back by implying he doesn’t want to come back. She drives the stair car with Michael and Maeby to get him back. Tobias calls Lindsay against Michael’s advice to tell her he misses her, but she turns back to Newport until he starts using Kitty to make her jealous and then she starts driving to Reno again ever faster.

Looking for his father at the theater, Michael runs into Barry Zuckerkorn and fires him as the family lawyer for lying to him. Eavesdropping nearby in Blue Man make-up, George hears that Michael is going to get Oscar out of jail. (Plot: “The Cabin Show”)

Lindsay arrives in the stair car with Maeby and George Michael, who avoids Maeby by sleeping in the stair car. GOB also arrives with Steve. When Michael finds GOB, he explains the letter to him; Steve Holt is his son. GOB runs off, and Michael notices GM in the stair car, thinking he has comes to find him. GOB plans a Free Bird escape for his father’s date. Tobias prepares to be GOB’s lookalike in the trick by drawing hair in his bald spot with a permanent marker. George suggests to Michael to hire Andy Griffith from “Matlock” to intimidate the prosecution. He further insists he was framed by a British company to build the houses in Iraq. Michael promises his father to research the possibility. He gives the truck with the cabin on it to Lindsay to drive. (Plot: “For British Eyes Only”)

Distraught from getting tosses out, GOB meets a call girl named Nellie, who hires him to pose as her pimp. (Flashback: “Family Ties”)

 

2005, September 27, Monday

Michael heads to Wee Britain, a British section of Newport with English residents, to search through the records there, but his lack of familiarity with the terminology there hinders his research. He meets heiress Rita Leeds and falls for her while asking her to help him get permission to see the local British files. (Plot: “For British Eyes Only”)

Tobias heads to a costume shop to look for a wig he can wear in GOB’s act. (Plot: “For British Eyes Only”)

Buster buys a pet turtle he calls “Mother.” (Dialogue: “Prison Break-In”)

Leaving Wee Britain, Michael is nearly run off the road by Rita’s uncle, Trevor, trying to keep him from dating Rita. (Plot: “For British Eyes Only”)

Michael heads to the office and discovers GOB hiding in his office from Steve Holt. GOB confesses he’s unsure about his feelings for Steve, and while scolding him for trying to deceive Steve, Michael realizes his own father must be deceiving him by hiring Trevor to scare him. Michael gives up his time with George Michael to go confront his father. Tobias shows up in a ladies wig trying to get GOB to hire him for his act. (Plot: “For British Eyes Only”)

Michael confronts his father about the threats, but George knows nothing about them. Fearing retaliation, he decides to plead guilty in court. After Michael leaves, George conspires with GOB to help him escape during his Free Bird trick before the hearing. Tobias shows up with badly installed hair plugs bleeding from his scalp. Arriving for court, Lindsay asks Michael if he lost the courage to ask Rita after getting hit by a Mary Poppins doll, footage of which was televised on the news. George reveals Andy Griffith backed out of appearing with them after thinking the cabin on the truck was meant for him. GOB does his trick, but does it himself at the last minute to impress Steve Holt who enjoys magic. As GOB escapes, George is tasered trying to escape. (Plot: “For British Eyes Only”)

Lindsay flirts with Bob to cover her divorce, but he’s interested in the job not the relationship. Michael reveals he has a lunch date with Rita, who GOB is convinced is unattractive. Buster gets a medal from the Army on the condition that he re-enlists. (Flashback: “Forget Me Now”)

Trevor drops Rita off at Fat Ammy’s, an American-themed British Restaurant, for her date with Michael. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

Maeby makes a date with Steve Holt to avoid things getting serious with George Michael, who learns from GOB that Steve Holt is his cousin. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

Bob has to remind George several times that it is a felony offense to shred the company records before the prosecution can see them. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

Michael arrives late for his date with Rita and overlooks her personality quirks because of her British accent. When she asks about his family, he lies about having a family. Michael arrives at work and finds GOB using a shredder to destroy the company files to which he puts a halt. He hears about Buster award and how the family is going to celebrate it. George decides to use the incident to use balloons to escape. With the model home empty, Michael realizes he can invite Rita over for dinner. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

At the model home, Lindsay is flirting with Bob Loblaw over the phone which he is transcribing for her divorce. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

 

2005, October 5, Tuesday

Michael gets the house ready for his date with Rita. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

With the model home about to be empty, Maeby makes her date with Steve Holt who George Michael informs is their cousin. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

At the penthouse, Tobias and GOB reveal that Michael kicked them out of the model home, and George and Lindsay believe he did it to shred the evidence secretly. They change Buster’s party to one that appreciates Michael. They decide to invite Rita to the party. George prepares his escape. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

Lindsay picks up Rita with the truck, but she gets scared and tries to escape. Buster sees the seal on her backpack and accidentally hits her. After she passes out, GOB gives her a roofie to make her forget the attack. They leave her on a park bench. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

Michael leaves the model home to get Rita. Maeby shows up to see it set up as Steve arrives. Before Steve can call off the date, Maeby finds herself trapped in the situation. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

Missing Rita, Michael calls to meet the family at the penthouse as they remove all references to Rita. Michael finds Rita confused on the park bench and renews his date with her. Planning on blowing off the party for Buster, Michael gets trapped into staying as Rita comes up to the penthouse looking for him. Buster rushes in with his letter informing him that the conditions of his medal have him re-enlisting. Michael confesses he lied to Rita about his family because he was embarrassed of them, but he also hears in passing about them trying to abduct and then successfully drugging her. Buster tosses his medal out, puncturing his father’s balloons during an escape and sending him crashing to the ground. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”) 

GM returns to the model home where Steve Holt is passed out in his bed. Maeby slipped him a roofie to keep from having sex with him. She discovers Steve is her cousin. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”) 

Michael tries to save the scorched records from the car fire started by his father’s escape. He learns Lindsay’s dirty talk with Bob Loblaw used up their retainer which he expects her to pay back. GOB convinces Michael to ask Rita out again. He pulls out Franklin partially restored. (Plot: “Forget Me Now”)

Michael rises to head to work and runs into Lindsay on her way to work with Bob Loblaw. She grouses that Bob is more interested in his daughter, Hope, but Michael suggests she find a way to bond with the girl. Michael gets a message that Rita is leaving by train and rushes to meet her, but he gets the impression that she’s put off by his lack of stamina. He returns to the model home to take George Michael to play ball. GM announces he’s taking Ann out to buy fabric for a gown in the Church and State Beauty Pageant. Lindsay hears about the pageant and decides to enter Hope in it to get Bob’s attention. Tobias decides to chaperone Ann in the pageant. GOB reveals he’s been a judge in the pageant for years to date the Third Place winners. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

GOB shows up asking Michael to help him hide from Steve. Michael asks Steve to be his partner in the Father-Son Triathlon at the fair. GOB gets jealous over how fast they bond. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

Maeby resurrects her Shirley Funke identity to enter the beauty pageant and reveal how hypocritical it is. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

Michael and Steve start training for the triathlon. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

Bob Loblaw meets with the family to discuss George’s case. Buster asks Bob’s advice on how to get out of the Army, and he learns he can get out if someone replaces him. However, because of the bad press around his escape attempts, George is advised by Bob to volunteer for a “Startled Straight” program. He tries to discourage Michael from doing the triathlon. Michael awakes sore from his training and finds the handlebars of his bike in his bed. He attends the Church and State Beauty Pageant sore from training but eager to impress Rita. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

Ann Veal follows Hope Loblaw’s singing act in the pageant held back by an unresponsive camel. Maeby appears as Shirley, and is completely unrecognized by GOB or Lindsay. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

George attends the wrong “Startled Straight” program trying to keep young men from going to prison, instead entering one trying to guide gay young men from a homo sexual lifestyle, instead exciting them more for it. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

Maeby makes the bottom three girls of the pageant and stuns the crowd by standing from her wheelchair, thinking she was moved by prayer. Lindsay and Tobias recognize her. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

Michael realizes the triathlon is little more than a series of toys acting as obstacles, but he still decides to go through it with Steve. (Plot: “Notapusy”)

2005, November 8, Monday

Michael takes a day off to be with Rita. She finds a toy train in a store they think they should get for GM. At the Sudden Valley property, Michael reveals the damage by moles to the property. Returning to Wee Britain, Rita is told by Trevor she needs to stop seeing Michael, but she refuses. (Flashback: “Mr. F”)

At the model home, Michael learns Tobias is losing control of his legs, a symptom of his shoddily implanted hair plugs. (Plot: “Mr. F”)

Lindsay accuses Michael of neglecting the family since he met Rita. (Plot: “Mr. F”)

Michael meets Lucille, GOB, Buster and his father’s surrogate at the office for a meeting with Bob Loblaw, who reveals a mole in the company has tipped their Japanese investors that their property isn’t ready to start building. Michael wants to be honest with them, but GOB wants to deceive them with fake miniature houses. Bob warns them not to deceive them, but George gets an idea to use a jet pack to escape. Lucille postulates the theory that Rita is the spy. Bob reveals the CIA informant is identified as “Mr. F.” (Plot: “Mr. F”)

 

2005, November 9, Tuesday

Michael heads out to take Rita out for another date, letting GM know he should be expecting another birthday present. (Plot: “Mr. F”)

Buster gets his hook stuck in the stair car after Michael drops him off at the penthouse. (Flashback: “Ocean Walker”)

George sends his surrogate out to pick up the jet pack delivered to the model home for GOB, but he picks up the train set. GOB meets up with the surrogate and thinks his father wants to go through with his miniature house set. At the penthouse, George gets lost in the access tunnels of the penthouse while Buster takes over the surrogate to build the houses with GOB. (Plot: “Mr. F”)

At the gym, Frank asks Tobias to be a mole as Michael meets the Japanese investors, but he takes the suggestion way too literal. (Plot: “Mr. F”)

Michael takes Rita for a tour at Paramount Studios by way of the Tantamount Studios Tour Train. He gets a call from GM confused about the jet pack which he found delivered to the model home, but Michael tells him to have fun with it. Michael notices her “Mr. F’ bracelet before the Love Indubitably Tunnel where Trevor tries to jump on the train. Michael breaks up with Rita. The spectacle is reported to Maeby who runs into Michael, who is so upset he doesn’t realize she’s not in school. He tells Bob Loblaw who warns him the family is going through with the miniature house hoax. Michael arrives just in time to realize they haven’t noticed the hoax, but Tobias wrecks the town in his mole costume as GM appears to stop him. Insulted, the Japanese investors depart, but then the CIA wire is detected by the surrogate’s microphone. Their cover blown, the CIA leave the area. Michael realizes that Tobias was Mr. F, and GOB realizes Buster has been behind the surrogate. (Plot: “Mr. F”)

Michael goes to apologize to Rita, who is upset because Bob Loblaw had the police investigate her. Michael proposes to Rita who runs off with him. (Plot: “Mr. F”)

George comes close to discovering Annyong hiding in the walls of the penthouse with recording equipment. (Plot: “Mr. F”)

At the office, Rita tells Michael her idea for building houses on the ocean, but because she says it with a British accent, he thinks it’s brilliant. (Flashback: “Ocean Walker”)

Rita stays the night at the model home with Michael. She helps Maeby with her movie script. (Flashback: “Ocean Walker”)

 

2005, November 10, Wednesday

Michael announces to his parents he’s getting married to Rita in a month. George and Lucille think she’s trying to get their money. Lucille further asks Michael if she’s really in love with him. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Returning to the model home, Michael discovers Tobias has completely lost his legs and is in a wheelchair. He tries convincing him to see a doctor. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Michael asks GOB to be a witness at his wedding instead of a best man to avoid a bachelor party, but GOB schemes to stick in a magic trick. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Lindsay returns from taking Rita shopping; the two of them wearing their jackets inside-out to exploit the labels. Michael asks his sister for advice about his relationship with Rita, and she advises him to take her to a hotel. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Rita meets GOB and reveals she loves magic. He plans to put her in a magic trick as Michael comes to remind him he doesn’t want any tricks at the wedding. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

George Michael drives Rita to Wee Britain to pack a bag. Unaffected by the charm of her accent, he begins to notice something off about her. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Rita tells Trevor she’s going to have “sexual relations” with Michael, but he forbids it since she’s not ready for it yet. He puts the “invisible locks” on in the apartment. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Michael looks for Rita in Wee Britain. When she says she’s locked in, he believes her, and he uses Buster’s hook to rescue her. Desperate to marry her, he moves the wedding to the next day. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Trevor shows up at the penthouse looking for Rita; he lets it slip to George and Lucille that Rita is a mentally-challenged heiress and owns all of Wee Britain.  (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Michael returns to the hotel with Rita. That night, GM shows up with video evidence that Rita is mentally-challenged. It takes him a few minutes to realize it. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

 

2005, November 12, Friday

Michael meets the family at the hotel now supporting his marriage to Rita, but the surrogate repeats George’s slip that they know she’s challenged. Michael figures it out on his own that she must have money. George fires his surrogate. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Both Lindsay and Maeby are put off by learning Rita’s condition. Michael lets Rita down softly before she returns to England with Trevor. She walks across GOB’s swimming pool illusion before GOB accidentally sets Tobias’s hair on fire. (Plot: “Ocean Walker”)

Tobias sees a doctor about his condition and learns his hair implants are causing vast deterioration to his body and have to be removed. (Flashback: “Prison Break-In”)

Michael grieves over losing Rita. He turns up at the penthouse to talk to his mother to talk about the Bluth Foundation Dinner a week away for which he is co-chair. (Plot: “Prison Break-In”)

Because of George’s frequent escape attempts, Warden Gentles appears at the penthouse to install security cameras. On arrival, Gentles describes his screenplay, “The New Warden,” about his encounter with George. Lucille reveals he’s letting the foundation dinner at the prison. (Plot: “Prison Break-In”)

At the model home, Michael reveals the dinner will be at the prison which annoys Maeby who has been avoiding him. Lindsay reveals they will be raising funds for Graft Versus Host for Tobias to keep his hair. Lindsay looks forward to exploiting Tobias for the prestige. George finds Oscar in GOB’s trick and disguises him in his own clothes after shaving his head. He calls GOB to come get his magic tricks out of Buster’s room, hiding out in one of them to escape the penthouse. (Plot: “Prison Break-In”)

Michael stays home from the Bluth Foundation Dinner and ends up reading Maeby’s screen play from Warden Gentles. After reading what seems to be Gentles’ motivations to get revenge on his mother, Michael meets GOB entering the model home with his tricks and gets his help to break into the prison to save Lucille. Buster finds Oscar disguised as George and sets him free. Oscar gets arrested by the police. (Plot: “Prison Break-In”)

George asks Michael to include Gob in the company, but GOB’s only idea is to enter into an illegal deal with the Colombians. (Plot: “Making a Stand”)

Michael finds Lindsay in his office, and she confesses to her that Bob Loblaw is slowly conceding to her advances. (Plot: “Making a Stand”)

Michael discovers Lucille is remodeling the penthouse while George is under house arrest. While the work is being done, she goes into the hospital for a facelift, telling Michael she will have to stay at the model home for a few days afterward. (Plot: “Making a Stand”)

Michael tells his father that GOB has to stop working in the company, but he learns that George was the one who told GOB to make the deal with the Colombians. When the “Boyfights” videos are mentioned, the Hispanic workmen recognize Michael and Buster from the videos which were popular in Mexico. (Plot: “Making a Stand”)

Maeby and Mort Meyers attend a screening of the horror movie, “Gangie,” but the monster isn’t taken seriously and she’s ordered to fix it. (Plot: “Making a Stand”)

The family meets at the office to go over losing Bob Loblaw as their attorney, who reveals they have no chances of beating the charges against them, although it might be his dealings with Tobias and Lindsay that turns him off from the family. Michael reveals they have to raise another retainer for another lawyer and that means some of the family getting jobs, but no one takes him seriously. Lindsay reveals she has enrolled Maeby at Openings. To cover the enrollment fee, Michael has Lindsay start covering the household duties at the model home. George suggests they have a dinner to raise funds for their defense. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

 

2006, January 3, Monday

Lindsay takes over the cooking duties at the model home, but she’s not very good at it. George Michael goes behind her cleaning up after her and turning off the stove. Tobias confides in Michael that he thinks GM is developing O.C.D. based on this activity. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

Lindsay shows Michael an expulsion letter from Openings revealing Maeby has never attended class there. Rather than let the tuition go to waste, Michael decides to enroll GM there. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

Lucille tries soliciting funds at the Balboa Club as GOB arrives. He tries to amuse her by pretending to be a waiter, but he gets stuck doing it even after she leaves. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

Michael meets his father at the penthouse to discuss the fund-raiser after they fail to get home from the Home Builder’s Organization (HBO). George asks Michael to do a speech on him, but Michael thinks he can get Andy Richter to perform through Donnie Richter, GM’s teacher at Openings. At Openings, GM has a hard time expressing himself. He learns that Donnie and Andy are two of quintuplets. Donnie asks GM to write a paper on his father. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

GOB is several days into his waiter job, making tips by charming the female customers. He runs into his mother; the two of them are dually shocked by running into each other. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

Michael runs into Andy Richter at Openings and invites him to the family fund raiser. He also finds Donnie Richter and comes off in a threatening manner to him. Michael makes the decision to pull GM out of Openings. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

While Michael is at the penthouse, Lucille returns embarrassed to have run into GOB working as a waiter. Michael is proud of him, but Lucille decides to bar Gob and Lindsay the homemaker from the dinner. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

Tobias gets his job as “Torture Victim #4” through Maeby. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

Michael tells GM he’s pulling him out of Openings and learns he was actually reading Maeby’s description on Tobias. When he decides Openings could still be good for GM, Rocky Richter shows up to defend his brother’s honor after receiving a basket of poison muffins. Michael confesses he had nothing to do with sending any muffins and Rocky departs suspicious. Hearing his father threatened his teacher, GM decides his father doesn’t respect him and walks out on him. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

Because of her bill at the Balboa Club, Lucille is unable to get the club to cater the dinner that night and drafts Lindsay and GOB to cook and serve the food which is completely inedible. Andy Richter shows up, but he passes himself off as his brother Emmett to get out of it. When George threatens Andy with poison muffins, Michael overhears him and realizes he was the Muffin Man, although George only takes credit for the first one. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

George Michael apologizes to Michael who is inspired to be brutally honest about the family and sends them off with Tobias’s “goodie bags.” 

At the model home, Michael apologizes to GM and promises to pull him out of Openings. GM confesses about cleaning up after his Aunt Lindsay. Michael promises to listen more to him, but when GM announces he is in love with Maeby, Michael still only gets part of the message. (Plot: “S.O.B.s”)

Michael gets the advance list of the state’s witnesses against his father and discovers Franklin, GOB’s ventriloquist dummy, is on the list as well a mysterious N. Bluth. George dismisses the figure, but Michael suspects it’s an account to hide money. George reveals that Jan Eagleman of “Justice TV” is willing to do a mock trial for the family. Michael feels confident he can represent the family. (Plot: “Fakin’ It”)

Michael meets with Jan Eagleman and actor Judge Reinhold over the mock trial. Jan offers him the role of the defense lawyer. (Plot: “Fakin’ It”)

Buster allegedly goes into a coma after getting into GOB’s roofies, but Michael suspects it’s a ploy to keep him from testifying. Lindsay falls for Brian, whose mother has been in a coma for two years. Michael reveals he’ll be the defense lawyer for his father on “Justice TV” which impresses no one except GOB who is intrigued by the TV show’s talking advertisement for his act. Meanwhile, Dr. Farmer decides to play out Buster’s coma to see how it goes, but along the way, he tries to encourage George Michael to entertain the Alzheimer’s patients with small plays.  (Plot: “Fakin’ It”)

Michael prepares for the mock trial as Lindsay shops for her date with Brian. GOB shows up using the magazine technology in Franklin. Michael reveals the similar house blueprints to the house in Iraq and notices a secret room in them. When he checks the model home, he finds that his father has been using their secret room to store the family mementos, but when he comes across the typo identifying him as “Nichael Bluth,” he suspects his father is setting him up as a patsy. GOB runs to the hospital and steals Dr. Farmer’s recorder for his act. He turns up at the office and uses Michael’s flipped up office to rehearse his act. Michael returns to the hospital to return the recorder and runs into Wayne Jarvis, the real prosecutor against his father, who reveals that under the Patriot Act, anything revealed in the mock trial will be admissible in court. He also encourages Michael to put George on the stand or else the prosecution will go after “N. Bluth,” who they believe is actually Michael. (Plot: “Fakin’ It”)

Maeby escapes to the model home and hides in the hidden room where GM finds her and tries encouraging her to do it to make the patients happy, but she decides to do it for the reason of freaking out her parents. (Plot: “Fakin’ It”)

Buster stays in his coma after his nurse, Adelaide, starts coming on to him. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Tobias and Lindsay check on Buster at the hospital, but when their bickering starts annoying him, he comes out of his coma to yell at them then drop back into it. (Plot: “Fakin’ It”)

Judge Reinhold shows up to film his show, now called “Mock Trial with Judge Reinhold.” Jan tries interrogating both Lucille and Tobias, who both ramble on unrelated subjects. GOB is more content during interrogation to play with a magazine. Michael’s refusal to ask questions annoys George, but when Michael goes to his surprise witness, Franklin Delano Bluth, GOB takes the stand happily content. Jan objects, but Judge Reinfold allows it out of amused curiosity. When GOB plays Michael’s recording inside Franklin with Wayne Jarvis threatening Michael, the case ends in a mistrial. Watching the show, Jarvis is stunned by the results, but Jan congratulates Michael and reveals he has promise as a lawyer. (Plot: “Fakin’ It”)

George Michael gets the mail and receives his marriage license for him and Maeby. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Michael shows Nellie’s photo to Lindsay to figure out who she is, but she tells him to just confront their parents about it. Michael doesn’t believe he can get the truth that way. Tobias heads off to the gym but hesitates to exchange a list of his sexual preferences with Lindsay. When Michael makes a comment about them, George Michael nervously responds. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

GOB comes in to announce his religious girlfriend (Ann) has broken up with him after he offends her by confusing the Holy Trinity with a “three-way.” Michael asks him if he recalls having a sister other than Lindsay, but he has no memory of one. (Plot: “Family Ties” / “Development Arrested”)

GM shows the marriage license to Maeby to reveal their wedding was legal, and she freaks out about it. She tells him to rip it up, but he instead optimistically saves it.

Michael confronts his parents over Nellie, but they think he’s talking about Tobias. He catches George planning to erase the company computers with a giant magnet and warns him against pulling another mass Black Friday firing of the employees. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

At the hospital, Buster starts to realize his nurse is a bit of a tease. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Michael heads to the company to discover the prosecution has already taken the computers, leaving them with the out-of-date older models. The employees wonder if it’s another Black Friday because they haven’t been paid yet, but he assures them that no one is getting fired. As Michael is struggling with the antiquated equipment, he finds a reference to Nellie. Confused over his feelings for Lindsay and a person he met at the gym, Tobias shows up sweaty from the gym and affects the machine. Michael prints the screen and gets the information from it. Tobias describes his new attraction as a girl named Michael for an awkward situation with “boy-Michael.” (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Lucille returns to the hospital and finds state Representative John Van Heusen petitioning to keep Buster alive after a call from an anonymous source. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

At the office, Michael gets a threatening letter from Frank (GOB), Nellie’s boss. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Returning to the model home, Michael reveals Nellie is working out great in the company, but Lindsay is uncomfortable with the situation. Michael confesses he’s putting off telling Nellie that she’s his long-lost sister. Lindsay confesses she’s dating a new man. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Michael goes to meet Nellie again but runs into Tobias again and discovers “girl-Michael” is a transvestite that Tobias thinks is a woman. He meets up with Nellie in her hotel room and she comes on to him. When she goes to change clothes, he meets Frank in the room and discovers its GOB with Franklin who confesses that Nellie is a prostitute. When Michael tells him that Nellie might be their long-lost sister, she reacts with shock. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Lindsay shows up for her date with “Girl-Michael” and discovers he’s also dating Tobias. He suggests a “Holy Trinity,” but they refuse although they will both have to deal with Frank. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Michael confronts his parents with his childhood photo, and George claims the girl in the photo is his sissy cousin Larry. George reveals that Nellie is his prostitute but he reacts with alarm when he hears Michael gave her access to the company accounts. Realizing they’re wiped out, he reveals they can track Nellie through Frank, who Michael reveals is really GOB.   (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Michael returns to the company and learns Nellie used the money to pay herself, the employees and buy new computers. He tries to hire her permanently as a morale booster, but she reveals she makes far more money as a prostitute. (Plot: “Family Ties”)

Michael talks to Lindsay about her deposition and adds that their mother doesn’t want her doing it. Tobias shows up in one of Maeby’s outfits ready for the deposition which he thinks is an audition for a movie called “The Prosecution.” George Michael lets everyone know Maeby’s birthday is coming up and he wants to surprise her with a party. GOB shows up to reveal he’s going on a USO Act in Iraq with a new Christian act by his girlfriend (Ann). He’s drained all the wine bottles and filled them with water for his Jesus act, a fact that annoys Lindsay who has to get drunk for her relationship with Tobias to work. Michael learns GOB’s trip was an idea of his father’s (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

 

2006, February 4, Monday

Tobias meets with the prosecution for his audition, but they just want him to give them evidence to put George Bluth in prison. Tobias refuses to turn against the family especially after they refuse to see his talent, but he gets distracted by a scrapbooking class on the way out unaware the prosecution is behind it. (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

GOB arrives in Iraq, but he is arrested in Baghdad after his magic trick turns into an Anti-American demonstration. The American troops leave his door open for him to escape and lead the CIA to anything that incriminates George, but he locks himself up. (Flashback: “Exit Strategy”)

Michael confronts his father about GOB’s trip, but he still insists he’s a patsy. While George tries to come up with a plan to avoid his deposition, Lucille and Lindsay reveal they’re going to be in rehab while it’s occurring. (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

Buster comes out of his coma for Adelaide, but she slaps his face after learning he was faking his coma. He begins calling the radio stations requesting break-up songs. (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

Lucille and Lindsay discover that rehab isn’t stocked with alcohol. Lucille reveals the Lindsay is forty-years-old, but she says she’s thirty-five. (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

Michael checks Buster out of the hospital to head to Iraq, which impresses Adelaide only as long as he actually goes. George is found in a coma on arrival.

2006, February 7, Thursday

Michael and Buster reach Iraq after an 18-hour plane ride. GOB is glad to see them, and Michael says he will try to get him out, but he also warns him he could be in prison for a while. After his release is expedited, Michael gets suspicious, and when GOB mentions the houses their father wanted them to burn down, he goes to investigate them only to find they’re replicas of the model home and one of them used as housing for Saddam Hussein lookalikes, one of them with a scar is intensely watching the trial progress. Michael checks the air conditioning for them, but he also stumbles upon a nuclear warhead in their secret room. (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

Maeby arrives at the model home and discovers GM preparing her birthday party. She reveals how his invitations outed her and cost her job at the movie studio. She decides to get drunk on GOB’s fake wine not knowing it’s fake. (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

The CIA follows Michael, GOB and Tobias to the house to arrest them, but on closer examination, the warhead turns out to be a fake with CIA recording equipment inside it. When the agent calls it in, it’s revealed that was part of a CIA sting using George through a British company. The revelation plus Tobias’s photos on the incident exonerates the treason charges on George. (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

Thinking she’s drunk, Maeby confesses she wishes she wasn’t a Bluth, and when he reveals his suspicion that she was adopted, she gives up her inhibitions and kisses him. (Plot: “Exit Strategy”)

Michael wakes to George Michael wanting to talk to him about Maeby, but Michael is distracted by good news for the Bluth Company after “Mad Money” raises the company to “Risky Business.” (Plot: "Development Arrested")

During a family brunch, Lucille announces she has rented a boat to announce in a party that Michael finally be named CEO of the company. GOB doesn’t attend as everyone wonders where he’s been living. Michael accidentally reveals that the family could sell the rest of their shares in the company, a fact that everyone is interested in, particularly Lindsay, who fears hitting forty. George mentions going to Cabo to retire, adding that Lucille was responsible for many of the dirty deals in the company, including stealing the Banana Stand as an idea from a Korean man. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Michael discovers GOB living on a yacht he purchased by altering his stipend checks. GOB mentions paying off the yacht by selling his shares to Stan Sitwell, but Michael warns him not to do it. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Michael heads to the office where the employees are celebrating the company’s good fortune. Lucille tells Michael to buy the yacht for GOB through the company to keep him from selling his shares.

GM shows up to talk to Michael about Maeby. He reveals he’s not attending the party because he made out with Maeby. Michael tries to get him interested in Ann again. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Lindsay meets with Stan Sitwell about selling her five percent of the company, but he casually mentions that she got less that Lucille’s real children and that she was adopted. The fact is a huge comfort to Lindsay when he reveals he almost adopted her, but when she realizes she’s actually three years older than she thought, she attacks him. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Maeby returns to Tantamount studios to get her job back, but Mort reveals the story on her is too good to let go, and they want to do a TV series on her if she can get the rights to her family. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Lucille reveals to Lindsay that she’s adopted. (Dialogue: "Development Arrested")

Michael wakes up in the middle of the night with Lindsay in his bed. Mounting him on it, she remembers his praise to her over the years and announces to him that if she doesn’t get divorced and remarried in another month that she’s going to sell her shares. She asks Michael if he’s interested, but when he responds he’s not interested in older women, she beats him up. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Michael wakes up to Tobias in his bed. He wants to sell his shares, but Michael convinces him to take a job with the company as an events coordinator rather than sell. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

George Michael goes looking for Ann at her family’s house, but her uncle reveals she’s been living with her boyfriend. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Michael heads to his mother to confirm Lindsay was adopted, and Lucille confesses that Lindsay (formerly Nellie) was the girl in his baby photo adopted just to cheat Sitwell. Michael reveals that the family is falling apart with everyone trying to sell off their shares, but Lucille decides to have everyone sign a waiver keeping everyone from selling for ten years. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Tobias reveals he’s planned the party at the Queen Mary bar, unaware the location he has chosen to actually the ship welded to the dock in Long Beach. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

GM goes looking for GOB at the yacht and discovers Ann has been living with him the whole time. Upset at him taking Ann, George Michael punches GOB and knocks him out. Later on, Ann thinks they should make things right with George Michael. GOB plans on performing a big illusion on the Queen Mary. (Plot: "Development Arrested" / Flashback: "Colony Collapse”)

Buster is terrified by the ship, and Maeby tries getting signatures for her TV series while Lucille tries getting signatures from the family to keep them from selling their shares. When GOB hears how Lindsay plans to marry Michael, he tries to get even with Michael for sending GM to the yacht and flirts with Lindsay himself. She beats him up too. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

Lucille has Maeby gets the signature she needs, but she actually has them sign her own release forms. (Plot: "Development Arrested")

In his speech, Michael praises his family for staying together and facing their fears, but he starts breaking down after realizing he’ll be forever saddled with them. When he looks for George Michael, GOB mentions how he hit him for taking Ann, and Michael goes to look for him. Lucille tries to stop him unsuccessfully. Stan Sitwell in attendance comments on the spectacle, and Lucille sells the company to him. Sitwell eventually sells his shares to Lucille 2. GOB notices the SEC advancing on the Queen Mary in boats, but when Lucille faces George for selling her out, she discovers it’s really Oscar in attendance. When she wonders who turned her in, Annyong appears and reveals he did it to avenge his grandfather from whom Lucille stole the Frozen Banana franchise. Lucille tries to escape by high-jacking the Queen Mary and heading out to sea to escape the SEC, Buster falling overboard and getting reunited with “Amy’s” seal, but Lucille turns the ship around in order to have the last word with Lucille 2 watching the spectacle from her apartment. Michael catches up with GM on the yacht heading out and tells him he’s not really related to Maeby because of Lindsay’s adoption, but that their relationship would never have worked anyway. They’re caught in the backwash of the Queen Mary, but when George Michael considers going back, Michael remembers the cashier’s checks he was going to give out to keep everyone from selling their shares and they keep going out, spending the night in Cabo with George. 2006, February 11, Monday

Michael and George Michael reach the harbormaster's lodge in the aftermath of the Queen Mary. G.O.B. asks George Michael for his approval to be with Ann. He doesn’t get it but thinks he has. George Michael meanwhile talks with Maeby trying to get her parents’ attention and decides they shouldn't be a couple. Maeby decides to fail out of high school to get her parents' attention. Tobias learns everyone thinks he’s gay, but he still dismisses the fact he talks funny. (Flashback: "Colony Collapse" / "Señoritis")

Lindsay realizes her relationship with Tobias is over and walks away from it. (Plot: "Indian Takers" / "A New Start")

John Beard mentions the "opening ceremonies of the Winter Olympics" (Background: "Indian Takers")

Barry reveals the charges to Lucille, who after hearing that Buster fell overboard comes up with the excuse she was trying to rescue him. When Buster instead confesses she stole the boat to escape the SEC, Lucille is taken to jail. (Plot: "Queen B.")

After the Queen Mary incident, Oscar begins his association with several characters and starts his own colony out in the desert near the Mexican border using a map drawn by Buster. They burn the signs thinking the border is further south. (Flashback: "Double Crossers")

G.O.B. sneaks into Ann's house to break up with her. They have sex, and she accepts his marriage proposal, but GOB immediately realized he has made a big mistake. (Plot: "Colony Collapse")
