Spoiler for The One In Vegas: Part One

I attended the taping. We were the first persons to get in and we had the best seats! We saw 90% of the taping, the 10% left were shown on a screen.

There were 5 different sets:

 
                 -A hotel room
                 -The entrance of a chapel
                 -Public toilets
                 -A gift shop
                 -A casino Before it began,

So Chandler suspects that Joey lies and wants to go to Las Vegas. Joey tells him not to. It's Monica and Chandler's anniversary and Monica decides she's gonna take him to a romantic trip in Vegas, but when she tells him, Phoebe says she's going too since she wasn't in London. Ross and Rachel arrive and Phoebe tells them they're all going to Vagas. R&R say they already have plans but they'd come later. Phoebe tells Rachel it's her turn to stay alone and that she even can walk naked in the apartment.

During the flight, Chandler realises he forgot Monica's present. Phoebe arrives and asks Monica if she told Chandler she had dinner with Richard. Chandler is very upset. Monica tries to explain that she didn't want to hurt him and that Richard doesn't mean anything to her anymore. Chandler is still upset and decide he won't talk to Monica anymore.

Rachel is finally alone in the apartment and she realises that Phoebe's idea is not so bad, so she starts dancing naked! Ross sees her from his apartment and thinks she's doing it to attract him. He goes to the girls apartment , knocks at the door, gets in and takes off his shoes. Rachel understands what is going on and makes fun of him.

Phoebe, Chandler and Monica arrive in Vegas and discover what happened to Joey.

R&R finally fly to Vegas. Ross asks Rachel if she's not embarrassed that everybody could see her naked and she says that nothing could embarrass her, so Ross shout "No, miss, I won't go with you to the bathroom to make love to you!" Rachel is very upset and she kisses the forehead of the guy sitting ahead Ross. The guy turns over and thinks that it was Ross who kissed him. Ross tells the guy sitting beside him "do you remember that schoolteacher who has had a baby with one of her pupils? I think that's her." Rachel takes a glass of water and dump it on Ross' pants, then she calls the hostess and tells her "do you have pants? This guy wet himself." Rachel falls asleep and Ross is drawing something. Later, we realise he was drawing a mustache and a beard on Rachel's face.

Meanwhile, Ross and Rachel are really really drunk together, in Vegas, wandering around the casinos...

At the end, Chan & Mon are in the chapel waiting for a couple that is already getting married and they think about what they are about to do and then they kicked everyone out. and Mon and Chan are not going to get married...

               * The episode is set in Vegas (they were filming some of it
               in Vegas two weeks ago - someone I know was trying to get a
               part as an extra in a casino scene), and airs on 20th May in
               an hour-long special, not with the second part airing on
               27th May as was originally thought.  (Coincidentally, the
               latter date is my birthday - happy sweet sixteen to
               meeeee... :)) 

Now onto the stuff about the plotlines:

               * Chandler and Monica are rumoured to get into a huge fight
               about Richard, and break up.  Apparently, Tom Selleck is one
               of the guest stars in the finale - but whether this is
               actually the case remains to be seen.  (Three out of the
               last four episodes to be taped do not have a spoiler - which
               is very strange.  Where are they?!)

               * Things are supposed to heat up between Ross and Rachel in
               the last few episodes of the season.  (In every spoiler we
               have from now until the end of the season, there are various
               hints and allusions to their past relationship - it seems as
               though they are leading up to something anyway.)  Anyway, in
               the finale, this is supposed to increase to the point where
               there is some major sexual tension going on - stolen
               glances, little comments, etc.  Exactly where this goes for
               sure, I don't know, but I know that it is *supposed* to
               escalate to the point where they find themselves alone at
               some point, and realise they can't fight their feelings
               anymore...

               * Those pesky Vegas chapels also play a part, as they would
               do in any sitcom trip there.  However, it is looking likely
               that Chandler and Monica will be the ones who are getting
               married. 

Rachel and Ross enter the casino room. Rachel still has a moustache and a beard on her face. That makes a child laugh. And she is like: "kids just love me"... Then they encounter Phoebe who is at a slot machine and Joey. Phoebe, looking at Rachel: "at what kind of party have you been....?" She tries to show her her face. Rachel looks in her pocket mirror and hits Ross: "how long have I been walking around like that????" She goes to the bathroom and when she comes back, she still has the drawing and she tries to hide it with her hand... There is no way she can put it off.
Phoebe during that scene has left her slot machine. An old lady has taken it and won the jackpot. Phoebe is angry and Ross tells her that the old lady may be a professionnal "slotter". She waits for people to left a machine after playing a lot without winning, takes their scene and does not have to wait too much to win. He knows that kind of people: his nanny used to do that to pay his dental cares...

Joey plays Baccara but he hasn't got enough money and with just a try he loses. But he realizes that the croupier has exactly the same hand as his... He thinks that could make them earn a lot of money but the croupier thinks he is completely mad...

Chandler comes back from his room with his bag, goes to the craps table and just says "goodbye" to Monica. Mon wants to stop playing but she has won, she hesitates and finally goes after Chandler. Finally each other ends saying "I love you" and they tenderly kiss...

Ross and Rachel are in the hotel room. Rachel is really mad at Ross who is phoning the customer line of his pen company. The guy that answers finds Ross' joke very funny...
Rachel asks how she can put the drawing off and Ross tells her there is "no way" she can!!!! To calm her down, Ross offers her to drink or eat anything she wants from the minibar although it is really expensive. He also suggests that they can bring the casino in their room and he pulls cards out. he plays alone 21 and says oh you won Rachel, here is $10... Rachel:" I've bet 20" Ross"OK"...

Phoebe is at another slot machine. She sees the old woman spying her so she throws her counters. During the whole episod they will fight and Phoebe decides to be a better "slotter" than the old lady. So now it has become a race between the two. In the end, the old woman puts a counter in a machine and Phoebe pushes the button and wins. The lady complain to a cop that Phoebe has stolen her machine and he expels her from the casino...
Monica and Chandler are playing together at craps: Mon throws and Chandler decides which number they want... they also bet things for themselves. If they win this one: dinner with steaks, this other one: the best suite in the hotel (Caesar's Palace)...

Joey tries to find the croupier, even though the others tryed to explain there is no way he could win money with a "hand brother", he has prepared a show that he wants to submit to the croupier. He asks the girl that has replaced him where he was: "in the bathroom", he is living and suddenly turns back to the girl and...: "hey, how'ya doing?"...

Chandler and Monica are still playing. But Chandler still aks for a "8" and Monica is bored. She aks him to change. He doesn't want to but suggests they should bet something much more important: if they win............................. they'll get married in Vegas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Silence........... Monica says OK. She throws the dice: one is 4 and the other is... down to the ground. They fall on their knees and search for it. Then they find it and it is undetermined. Monica: "what is it a 3 or a 4?" Chandler: "well I think it is a 4" and still on their knees they kiss...

Joey has found the croupier in the bathroom. He tries to convince him but the croupier still believes he is crazy. Then Joey says he has even written a song that he beginns to sing until the croupier leaves (as for the song there were two different versions on well-known tunes, one begins: "and here is my hand and here is your hand, oh no wait it's my hand..." really funny stuff).

Rachel and Ross have emptied the entire minibar. They are completely drunk. Rachel phones for more beers without dialing and we hear a knock on the door: "that must be our beers". In fact that is Joey that comes to get some help to convince his "hand brother". Ross says OK but he is so drunk that he falls down on the ground (during the shooting, David hurt himself with falling) thinking that it is Joey that has fallen. Joey understands that they won't be any help but before leaving he turns to Rachel: "Hey, how'ya doing?", Rachel:"Well I'm fine Joey and you , how'ya doing?". Joey smiles (you can imagine what kind of smile) turns to Ross and says very seriously:"OK Ross, don't let her drink anymore"...

Joey is at the Baccara table, with the same croupier. Phoebe comes and says "hello my name is Mrs Phalangee, I am a business woman, I am her doing... business, do you want my ID???" Joey that has been trying to convince the man for a long time asks Phoebe what she thinks, as an "impartial personn", about his idea. She says that it is great and that she would pay a lot to see similar hands...
The cop that has thrown her out passes by and asks her to leave when he recognizes her. Phoebe:"oh no, wait, the person you threw out was Phoebe Buffay, I am Mrs Phalangee, a business woman..." But she can't help it and while the cop makes her leave the croupier asks him to take Joey too...

In the gift shop, Monica and Chandler: Monica"OK I need something new, something old, something, something borrowed...". Chandler: "something old? I still have this condom in my wallet", Mon "Ok, that will do" Chandler"no it won't!!!!" Mon"then something blue" Chandler"why don't you take that T-shirt under your dress?" Mon"What???" Chandler" ya, it's blue, it's new, it's borrowed..." Mon"...stolen you mean!" Chandler"no, we'll bring it back", Mon"I can't believe it, we're so great!" Chandler:"oh yes" Mon"no, I meant we're so efficient!". They kiss and Mon, hiding behind Chandler, puts the shirt under her dress. It looks as if she were pregnant. She stroke her belly gently: Chandler"Mon? One thing at the same time!". They're leaving without paying...

In the hotel room: Ross"don't you think we should go out now?" Rachel"there is only one thing that could make me go out"... Later we see them walking around the casino, still drunk, and Ross... has drawings on his face.

Chandler and Monica enter the chapel's entrance. "We wanna get married". The woman at the desk:"you'll have to wait 'till the precedent wedding ceremony is over". So they sit. Chandler begins to hum. Monica:"what are you singing?" Chandler "the nuptial march, why do you ask?" Mon" 'Cause it's the graduation theme" Chandler "no way". From the chapel we hear then the real nuptial march... Monica:"Chandler, are you sure you really want to do this?"....close-up on Chandler's hesitating face...
