Last ER Hero
By Alyssa Santos
yellowbrick_1@hotmail.com

This is a cast fic, it is short and goofy.

Disclaimer: I don’t own any of these characters, the lovely people at NBC do.

Note: I got this idea while watching Last Action Hero (it is about a boy getting transported into a movie). This is a goofy Fan Fic compared to my regular series.

Warning: Spoilers for season 7

Also: when you read my name please read it as (uh-lee-sa)

Alyssa sat down in her rocking chair, curled up and ready to watch the newest ER. She grabbed the new controller (their old one broke) and pressed REC.

“ER, How can I help you.”

“I want some MEDICINE! I’m in PAIN!”

Somewhere a baby was crying and a phone was ringing. Alyssa looked around and found herself in a busy ER. It was nothing like the ER at the hospital where her mother worked. So many thing were happening all at once she couldn’t think straight.

“Hey, do you need any help?” a tall dark doctor with a thick accent asked.

“No, I....” Alyssa started but he was already gone. Suddenly it hit her. She knew who he was, but he wasn’t real. Was he? Then Alyssa smiled, how fun could this be.

Alyssa strolled up to the admit desk and walked over to the computer.

“Hey Randi.” she said as she passed the her.

“Hi...” Randi turned, with a surprised face.

“You know me, trust me.” Alyssa said simply as she activated the internet. She typed in the address of one of the ER message boards she was a member off. She was very surprised when it came up as a CAN’T FIND PAGE.

It was only 10:03, she at least had until 11:00 she gathered. She was about to walk off to find someone cool when she was interrupted.

“Who are you?” a short woman with a cane asked.

“Oh hi Kerry, and Alyssa” She answered.

“Do I know you?” Kerry asked with a perplexed look on her face.

“No, but I know you.”

“How is that possible?” Kerry asked, now skeptical.

“Hummm... Let me see if I can get this right. You were adopted, besides that I don’t really know much about your past: however, now you have a little thing with that psychology lady. Even though you say you’re straight something tells me you are going to be a lesbian.”

“What?” A male voice asked. Alyssa turned to see Dave. “Kerry’s a lesbian?” Dave continued. Suddenly all the doctors and relevant characters seemed to materialize around them.

“What?

“What!?!”

“Kerry’s Gay!?!”

Now a bald man walked up, “Now how do you know that?” He asked. Alyssa shrugged.

“I know a lot of things. Like you, for instance. You have a brain tumor.” Alyssa blurted out.

“What?” Came a horrified Elizabeth.

“You’re pregnant.” Alyssa continued.

“Carter is an addict and does puzzles at AA meetings.”

“Carter...” Came a stern Kerry.

”Luka has become withdrawn since killing that mugger. Chen is pregnant and her mother doesn’t accept that it is part black. Benton is going through bad times, the pay cut, and that bi ...ummm Cleo. Abby is having trouble with her mother, and seems to be attracted to both Luka and Carter.”

“What?!?” Interrupted Luka.

Dave took the chance to pull Alyssa to the side. “Do you have anything on me?” he asked. Alyssa shook her head.

“TPTB haven’t done much with you. All I know about you is that you went to school in Grenada.”

“Well, good.” Dave said and he through her a heavenly smile.

Everyone was fighting over the new found information. Alyssa realized that her time was ticking away.

“Aren’t there patients you are supposed to be seeing?” Alyssa asked.

“Only when nothing important is going on.” Elizabeth answered. Alyssa looked around, there seemed to be enough patients.

“Trauma!!!” Somebody yelled, and all of a sudden everyone was in action.

“I’ve got the first victim!” Dave called. Alyssa followed on behind. Soon three gurneys were being pushed in. Two were rushed to the trauma rooms and the one minor was pushed into a exam room. Alyssa followed the last gurney. Carter finished rolling the young girl in and turned to Alyssa.

“You know a lot, don’t you? Will you watch her for me while I go into trauma.” Carter asked her. Alyssa nodded and Carter ran away. Alyssa turned to the girl and started to talk.

“So, what’s your name?” Alyssa asked. The girl turned to her.

“Sar....” she started. All of a sudden her eyes fluttered and closed. Alyssa jumped. What should she do? She bent over the girl and noticed she wasn’t breathing.

“Help! I need Help!” She screamed. Nothing happened. Alyssa almost started to panic. Then she remembered that she knew CPR (shhh.. don’t tell anyone her CPR card is expired). Quickly she checked the airway and blew two breaths. Then she started compressions (the real kind).

She was through her third set when the girl started to breath again. Carter walked in then. “She stopped breathing so I did CPR. She’s fine now.” Alyssa informed him.

“Well that’s good. We lost our patient, even with several very competent doctors and surgeons.

“Wow, that’s ironic.” Alyssa said. Carter shook in agreement. Alyssa looked at her watch.

10:55

“Oh no!” Alyssa yelped. She ran out of the room, pulling Carter behind her. She quickly rounded up all the doctors (they had pretty much all migrated to he desk). “I wanted to say good bye.” Alyssa said.

“OK.” several people chorused. Alyssa ran around shaking hands, hugging, and kissing (the hot guys.....only on the cheek). Then as the clock struck 11:00 Alyssa found herself back in her rocking chair.

Her first thought was ~ I’m glad I got that on tape.~

P.s. I’m sorry, I agree that was kind of stupid. Please don’t be too harsh.
I wrote it in 5 minutes.
