This is my tenth fanfic in this series. Thanks to Kritter who is my new editor.
This takes place one week after the last story.



" Are you coming with me? At two?"

" Where?"

" JOHN! To see an O.B.."

" Oh, that. Yeah."

" Good. I'll come and get you at 1:50."

" Okay. I'll be ready."

" You'd better be."

" I will. I promise." he gives her a kiss. " Bye!"

" Bye John." then she thought ' I hope he remembers'

Kerry was upstairs baking cookies when Anna went up. " How are you?"

" The norm. Tired, bored and pregnant."

" Pregnant?"

" Oh yeah. Sorry. Didn't tell you yet."

" When did you find out?"

" A week ago."

" Oh. We'll need to talk then."

" Ok."

" Does Carter know?"

" YES! I have an OB appointment this after noon. He's coming with me."

" Who's the doc. if I may ask?"

" You may, and it's Janet Coburne."

" Oh? At the hospital?"

" Yeah. I thought it would be easier."

" It probably would. How far along are you?"

" That's what we're going to determine."

" Okay. What time is the appointment?"

" Two."

" That's a pretty good time, I guess."

" See ya later Kerry!"

" See ya Anna." Anna went downstairs.

At exactly ten to two, Anna got to the hospital. She went up to Jerry who was just sitting on his butt.
" Jerry, where's Carter?"

" In the lounge."

" Thanks."

Anna entered the lounge. " Are you ready?"

" Yeah, lead on!"

They headed to the elevator, and pushed the button for the fourth floor. The elevator shuddered but got to the fourth floor without incident. They walked into Coburne's office. " Anna! How are you today?"

" Good, thank you. This is John my fiancee."

" Hello John. I believe we met a long time ago. I didn't know you were Anna's fiancee."

" Well, we've only been engaged for two weeks."

" I see. Well Anna, I'll leave you to put on this gown. I'll be back in a minute."

Carter started to walk out the door. " Are you leaving John?"

" I thought you might like some privacy."

" Please stay."

" Okay. I'll stay."

Anna changed into the gown and Carter helped her up on to the table. Dr. Coburne came in.

" Okay, we'll start with an ultrasound." she applied the cool gel to Anna's stomach. She flinched. "Sorry. It will warm up." she moved the wand around the area. " You are about two weeks pregnant. Congratulations!"

" Thank you Dr.," Carter said as he helped Anna sit up.

" Just get back into your own clothes and I'll give you some pre-natal vitamins."

Dr. Coburne left the room. Carter helped Anna get into her clothes. They waited patiently fro Dr. Coburne to return.

" Here you are, Anna. Make sure to take one twice a day." ( I don't know if that is right. Sorry)

" Thank you."

" We'll see you in two months."

" Okay."

*May 23rd*

Anna put on her gorgeous white dress with the help of Carol. She was two months pregnant, but it showed very little. Carol marveled on how the dress complimented her perfectly. Carol wore a violet gown like the rest of the bridesmaids. Kerry came in with her nicely styled. Carol's hair was at the top of her head. As was Maggie's. Elizabeth's was down and leveled off at her shoulders. They worked on Anna's hair putting it nicely in a white laced ribbon. They then attatched her vail. She was finally ready.

While this was going on, Carter was in his suit having his hair slicked back. Benton came in.

" Hey Carter. You nervous?"

" No. Incredible."

" What?" asked Mark and Doug as they came in.

" Even on my wedding day, I'm 'Carter'"

All three men laughed. " Get out!" Doug said as they hurried him out the door.

As the bridesmaids went down the aisle, Anna got nervous. Until, escorted by her father, she saw Carter waiting for her. She realized that this was really all she ever wanted. As she approached the altar, her father whispered goodbye in her ear.

" Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today......"
