"So let's see," said John. "I've called the caterer, the florist and the church. What about you?"

"I did my share." Anna said. "All we have to do is wait and see whether the guests are coming or not. Who says planning a wedding is hard?"

John laughed. He was in the lounge with Anna deciding their final wedding arrangements. It had been about a month since John asked Anna to marry him. Anna immediately said yes. It was also the best thing for Sophie to have married parents. John was happy to have Anna back.

"Well, Mark is coming along with Elizabeth, Doug and Carol, Peter, Jeanie, and Kerry." John said.

"What about Lucy?" asked Anna.

"I don't know. She hasn't told me yet. I'll go ask her now, she's practicing IV's in the suture room." John headed to the suture room.

He saw Lucy busily working on a fake arm trying to insert needles. She didn't look up when John came in.

"Lucy, can I talk to you?" asked John.

"Sure."

"Are you going to come to my wedding?"

"I don't know yet." Lucy answered.

"Well I hope you can come. I really want you to be there."

Lucy sighed. "No, you don't." she said quietly under her breath.

John turned around. "What did you say?"

"You don't want me to come."

John was surprised. "Lucy, just because I don't like you in a romantic way doesn't mean I don't want to be your friend."

"You knew I liked you?" asked Lucy.

"I knew." said John. "Chuni told me. But I do like you. As a friend. So does Anna. But you'll have to accept that I'm with her now. We really want you to come Lucy. It's the only time you'll get to see me in a tuxedo, and I know you'd like that."

John laughed, he was flattered that Lucy liked him. She may always have a crush on him, but for now he wanted to have some fun with it.

"I will come." Lucy said laughing. "Thanks for talking to me. I feel better now."

John left the suture room satisfied. He went back to the lounge to find Anna. Anna had picked Sophie up from daycare already and was ready to leave. John kissed Anna and picked up his daughter.

"All set?" asked Anna. "Is everything to all right?"

John thought for a moment. He had settled things with Lucy, he was getting married to Anna, the love of his life, and he had an adorable baby girl.

"Yeah." John said. "Everything is all right."
