This isn't a fanfic, so don't get too excited. It has
been about three months since I wrote the first part
of 'Class Dismissed', and I have yet to finish the
second and final part. Due to my hectic schedule, and
recent developments in my life, I will not be
finishing the series. I feel horribly for all the
people who I promised I'd write it. I just don't have
the time anymore to finish the story in the way that I
want to finish it, and in the way all my faithful
readers deserve. I'd like to take this opportunity to
thanks everyone who gave me feedback on this story - I
have never received such nice compliments on my work,
and I felt honored to receive them.

I am also announcing my retirement from fanfic
writing. I may still contribute to the series I write
with LovelyLuka24, but I will not be writing any more
stories that are by me alone. I will miss fanfic
writing, but like I said, I just don't have the time
any more.

While I have your attention, I will now say what I
wish to happen to each of the characters, two years
after the last part took place.

Luka Kovac: After County's closing down, Luka traveled
back to Crotia for awhile. After spending a few weeks
there, he returned to Chicago and began work as an
attending at Mercy Hospital. He is now currently
engaged to Abby Lockhart, but they have yet to set a
date.

Kerry Weaver: Kerry took the position at Denver, and
was enjoying her life there when she reunited with Kim
Legaspi at a medical convention. After talking, the
two reconciled and have been together ever since.

Dave Malucci: Dave was transferred to Mercy Hospital,
and continued his life as a sexist pig up until he met
his now wife, Julie Murphy. Julie was brought in as a
patient, Dave tried to hit on her, and when Julie
punched him in the nose Dave knew he was in love.

Abby Lockhart: Abby went back to med school right
after transferring to Mercy. On the day she
graduated, Luka proposed to her. She accepted, and is
now juggling being an emergency medicine intern and
trying to make wedding plans. She will find a date to
have the wedding even if it kills her.

Peter Benton: Peter spent some more time in rural
Mississippi working as a country doctor. He came back
so he could see Reese, but once Reese is older, Peter
knows he'll go back down there.

Robert Romano: Robert works as the chief of staff of a
hospital in Boston, and now annoys the hell out of the
workers there.

Cleo Finch: Cleo traveled to Indianna and opened her
own practice there. She and Peter broke up, but
remain friends and still visit and write to each
other.

Jing Mei Chen: Jing Mei was also transefered to Mercy
Hospital, and still works there as an attending. She
is still the same overachiever who first came to
County. Jing Mei is currently in a relationship, but
refuses to divulge the man's name. Dave will not give
up trying to find out this man's identity so he can
spread the rumor around the hospital.

Mark and Elizabeth Greene: Mark and Elizabeth moved to
a suburb of St. Louis and work in the same hospital
down there. They had a daughter, Charlotte Isabelle,
who will celebrate her second birthday next month.

John Carter: John transferred to Mercy, and is now an
attending there. He met and married Megan Chester, a
nurse at Mercy. Their daughter, Hannah Grace, was
born three days after John celebrated his second year
of being drug free.

They all still miss County, but have moved on their
lives. If they could say just one thing to each other
and to Cook County General Hospital, it would be thank
you.

Somehow I know, we'll meet again
Not sure quite where and I don't know just when
You're in my heart, so until then
It's time for saying goodbye.
