Hope Island was filmed on location at Britannia Beach, BC. Numerous television and movie productions have been filmed at this location. Including, episodes from the television series Airwolf, Macgyver, The X-files, and Stargate SG-1 and movies such as Air Bud, Free Willy 3, and Double Jeopardy. Britannia Beach is located on Highway 99 towards Whistler, 45 minutes from Vancouver, BC Canada 52 km (32 miles) on the 'Sea-to-Sky' route. If you decide to visit Britannia Beach, make sure you take the tour of the "BC Museum of Mining."
