Suki Kaiser illuminates the role of Alex Stone, the attractive yet cynical owner of Hope Island’s central meeting place and watering hole, the Widow’s Walk tavern. Born and raised on Hope Island, Alex grew up to be a rebellious teenager after her father walked out on his family, leaving behind two daughters and an angry, bitter wife.
Unlike Alex, who has lived in a small town most of her life, Suki Kaiser has been constantly on the move. In fact, by the time she was four years old, she had already been around the world three times with her mother, a missionary worker. Suki experienced a unique childhood living in different parts of the world, including Thailand (where she was born), Scotland, Canada and throughout the United States.
Suki attended college in Colorado where she studied anthropology and creative writing. She took up acting classes to further express her creativity, but when a friend suggested she attend a casting call, she won the role and started appearing in commercials. Suki left college and moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in acting and continued to do commercials. After four years of Los Angeles, she relocated to Vancouver, Canada, where she ran an acting studio and taught acting workshops along with a close knit group of other local actors.
Suki’s first movie role was in the Canadian feature "Under Observation," with Eaon Tracey and Pipper Frabor. She has also starred with Sophia Coppola in "Virgin Suicide," and had a re-occuring role in the popular television series, "Nash Bridges." In her spare time, Suki enjoys writing, playing guitar, practicing yoga and spending quality time with her new actor husband, Jonathan Scarfe. The two married two summers ago and split their time between Vancouver and Los Angeles.
