David Kaye aka Professor Xavier
Birth Name: David V. Hope
Date of Birth: October 14, 1964. Peterbourgh, OH
Height: 6'
A man of a thousand voices -- and a growing number of faces -- actor David Kaye was already a radio professional by the age of 16. Kaye's breakthrough came as a radio personality on a station in London, Ontario and he followed that with a move to Vancouver's (British Columbia, Canada) CKLG. Writing and improvising material soon gave him a taste for more challenging fare, so he undertook acting studies with a number of well-respected coaches, along with character work with Disney voice expert James Thomasan.
In the past few years, he's been supplying vocal personalities to cartoon characters on movies and series that number over 60 in total. In theatre, Kaye landed key roles in classic plays such as "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?", and "A Streetcar Named Desire" (he played STANLEY KOWALSKI). Kaye performed the lead role in "The Love Charm", a half-hour independent film which won the Best Short Film Award at this year's inaugural Leo Awards and saw him nominated as Best Actor.
