The War Has Come

The White House

"The mutants have gone too far." Said the general of the US Army. A couple of days ago, mutants had attacked the town of Bayville.

"Calm down, General, I'll send troops to check it out and meanwhile you can hold off this war for a couple of weeks." The president didn't want a war. Nobody did but sometime they had no choice."

So the general left the room and the president went over to the window and looked off into the sky.

"A war is coming," he said to himself.

Two day before at the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in Bayville.

"Okay Professor, were on our way." Scott said as he got up and started walking out of the kitchen. Scott was the leader of the X-men and sometimes was bossy to the others. Also known as Cyclops.

"Oh man, I forgot to do my homework." Kurt remembered as he searched through his backpack.

So the X-men left the mansion and headed down the hill to school. The mansion was on the edge of the bay and the school was on the opposite end of town. The students made there way down the hill and approached Bayville High School. It was a nice school and everybody was pretty nice there. Except for the Brotherhood of Mutants. The Brotherhood was a terrorist organization that was against all humans and wanted mutants to rule the world. While Xavier want peace within mutants and humans. The Brotherhood had always been quiet about their plans and the X-men were sure that they would never show themselves as terrorist. But today the X-men were proved wrong. It started off normal the students went to their first 4 classes and then headed for lunch. At lunch, Lance, Part of the Brotherhood was standing on top of a lunch table talking to the whole lunch.

"Listen up!" Lance yelled to the students, "We're the Brotherhood of Mutants."

He gestured towards his fellow mutants. Blob, Quicksilver, and Toad.

"And we're taking over this town!" yelled Toad.

The students laughed at them, not believing a word they said. Soon a student threw some mashed potatoes at Lance.

"Prove it!" a student yelled at the Brotherhood.

Lance nodded his head and flexed his muscles. Suddenly the whole school started shaking. The students were scared now. They all started leaving the lunch room. The whole school was shaking and windows began to brake all around the room.

"Stop it, Lance!" yelled Evan, "You'll bring the whole school down."

"I'll do what it takes to show that mutants should rule the world!" Lance said as he ordered Blob to knock over the pillars.

"Scott, we can't stay this building is coming down!" yelled Jean as she ushered the others to follow her out of the school.

Soon the school was totally wrecked and the Brotherhood was nowhere in sight. The X-men went back to the mansion to tell Professor X the tragic news.

"Was anyone hurt?" Xavier asked as the mutants told him the whole story.

"Luckily everyone got out before the building collapsed but I have a feeling the Brotherhood will strike again." Explained Jean as she turned on the news to see the tragedy on television already.

"This is what I feared most." Professor X told them.

"What Professor, what do you fear?" asked Kitty.

"The war that I have always tried to prevent is coming. The war between mutants and mankind."
