I've collected a variety of hats. I thought it would be fun to show you pictures of them. I'll add more pictures during the weeks to come.
This is my newsboy cap. I like the basic black color so that I can wear it with my black leather jacket, but it's also available in many other colors such as red, white or blue.
This is my train engineer's outfit. Clara gave me the Eddie Bauer denim jacket. The cap is from the Amtrak online store.
This is an especially fun outfit to wear when visiting the Railroad Museum in Sacramento. I've been there twice. Here's a little background on that cap: Years ago I attended the Grand Opening of the Amtrak Station in Martinez. There was someone there distributing free child-size Amtrak engineer caps for the kids attending the event. I noticed a woman there insisting that she be given one of those caps for her child who was not there. The man passing out the caps explained the policy, but she kept insisting. He finally caved in and reluctantly handed her a cap which she gleefully took. I thought to myself, "Heck, I'll just go online and purchase my own adult-size Amtrak engineer's cap". So I did.
I wear this when I'm in my Wild West mood.
This is fun to wear while watching a Sherlock Holmes movie or a Sherlock Holmes episode starring Jeremy Brett. And when Sherlock Snoopy is with me, we watch "It's A Mystery, Charlie Brwwn".
I could not resist this black organza hat. It is so Retro.
It's made of a breathable material that allows for circulation, so it's very comfortable to wear.

Pictures of my fedora and many other hats are expected to be posted here during the coming weeks.
