HOLMES: How was your Christmas, Watson?
WATSON: Good, except for the emergency treatment I gave to a young boy who suffered injuries from falling from a window.
HOLMES: Really?
WATSON: Yes. He said he was spreading the Christmas cheer while hanging onto the outside of someone's second story window. The resident opened the window, causing the boy to fall. Hence, the injuries.
HOLMES: Tsk, tsk.
WATSON: That fall may have affected the boy's mind. He muttered something about having to find a new sucker to fleece. At least, that's what it sounded like.
HOLMES: A new sucker to fleece? Hmmm.
[A drabble is a story of exactly 100 words, excluding the title.]
Note from the author: I found lots of drabbles about Dr. Who and Star Trek, but nothing on Blackadder. I even found a drabble about Mr. Bean (see the link at the bottom of this page). So I decided to write my own drabble and made it into a crossover between Ebenezer Blackadder and Sherlock Holmes, both of the Victorian age.
