Chapter 1:
Thousands of miles up above Sheridan was peeking through the clouds. She wasn't supposed to peak through the clouds to see life on earth. You were able to do that when you received your wing's from God. Sheridan was able to see through the clouds because she barrowed her friend Diana's wing's. Diana knew how much she missed Luis. The only thing Sheridan had ever wanted was love. She had wanted to have a family. All of her dreams were cut short because of Hank. She hated the fact she hadn't been able to tell Luis good-bye.
As she was peering through the puff's of white clouds, tears were flowing down her gentle face. Luis had quit his job, well actually he had lost it. Sam gave him his job back a year after the shooting. Luis had declined. He wanted nothing, now that Sheridan was gone. He barely ate, never shaved, never watched television, never talked, never came out of his room. He was miserable without Sheridan. He had no life in him; no reason to live. He wanted to die. He didn't have the strength to kill himself. It had been two years since Sheridan had passed away. Sheridan wanted him to move on. Really, she didn't; but knew it was right.
Two Months Later
"Sheridan, God wants to see you.", Diana said as she slipped a confronting hand on her shoulder.
"Why?", a curious Sheridan didn't want to leave her look-out hole.
"I'm not sure Sheridan. I was told to tell you to go see him." Diana told her friend.
Sheridan got off her knees and walked over to the gold cloud. She gently stepped on the cloud. When she reached the rainbow cloud she jumped. She fell through a hole. She flew down for what seemed like hours, but was actually seconds. Suddenly she jerked to a sudden stop. Before her was God.
"Sheridan, I know what you and Diana have been doing. I know how desperate you are to see Luis, so I am going to make you a deal." God spoke to her with such power.
"What do you mean? I am sorry, I just don't understand." she told God.
"I am going to let you see Luis. It won't be long. Only twenty-four hours." God told her.
"What?" Sheridan asked.
"Sheridan you are going....." God said.
Two Days Later
Luis had just awoken. He got out of bed. Something wasn't right. He had life inside of him. He wanted to shave, eat, and do all the other thing's he had before. Why? Luis had shaved and grabbed him something to eat when he went back to his room. He opened his door. His mouth fell open, and eyes widened. He couldn't believe it. Sheridan was standing in front of him.....

Chapter 2:
''Sheridan, is that really you?"' Luis asked.
"'Yes, Luis. It's me, Sheridan."" Sheridan said.
Luis grabbed her, and pulled her into an embrace.
""We need to talk, Luis."', said Sheridan in her gentle voice.
"'I thought you were dead."', Luis said as tears poured down his face.
"'I am. Luis, God saw how much pain I was in. He also saw how much pain you were in. Luis, in order to see what goes on down here on earth, you must earn your wing's. I haven't earned my wing's, yet. I have barrowed Diana's for the past two years. Two days ago, God wanted to see me. I have twenty-four hours, Luis. Twenty-four to be with you. I have to go back tomorrow. Only you can see me. I am invisible to everyone else."', Sheridan told Luis.
"' Oh, Sheridan."', Luis said as he pulled her to him. They both had tears coming out of their eye's. "'Sheridan, I am going to go to Momma's room. I will be right back. You can go to the kitchen and get you something to eat. Stay down there until I come to get you."'
Sheridan went down to the kitchen. She decided on some champange, and crackers. She took a seat on the stool at the bar.
Luis was in Pilar's room going through her jewelry box. When he found what he was looking for, he went to Theresa's room. He got four of her candles, and a lighter. He then went back to his room.
He sat the candles all around the room. As soon as he liked what he saw, he ran out the back door to the garden. He picked all sort's of flowers and put them in a basket. He ran back to his room and put the petal' s all over the room. He liked what he saw. He went down the stairs to the kitchen to get Sheridan. He saw that she was drinking champange. He came up behind her, and grabbed her waist. He started planting sweet kisses on her neck. Luis, then picked her up and grabbed the bottle of champange. When they got to his room, Luis put Sheridan down. She gasped at the sight. Flowers, candles, it was perfect. Seridan turned around. She put her arms around his neck. "' Thank you."' ''Your welcome. I am sorry it isn't perfect. I know it isn't romantic, but it was all I could do."
"Luis, it is the most romantic thing anyone could have done. I love you."" "'I love you, too."' Sheridan walked over to the picture of her and Luis on the drawer. While she was looking the other way, Luis got on one knee. He pulled out the ring his father had gave his mother on their twenth anniversary. She turned around and gasped at the sight. Luis was proposing. But why? She was only alive for twenty-four hours. Sheridan walked over to Luis. Luis grabbed her hand. "
'Sheridan, I know you must be wondering why. I love you and you love me. We never had the chance to marry, but now we do. I want to marry you before you go back. I know they want let us marry becuase you are dead, but that doesn't matter. We will find away. I am sure Father Logian would marry us. Please. I will never marry anyone else. I wasn't going to. I only wanted you. Now, I have the chance. Please say yes."' ""Yes."" Luis picked Sheridan up, and twirled her around. They were going to marry eachother. They were going to have a honeymoon. They would make the most of the twenty-four hours they had together. But, would the law allow them to? Will they run out of time?
