The Baseball Game

Chapter 1:

~On The Wharf, Luis talking on his cell phone~

“I had a wonderful date with the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on!” “So who’s the lucky woman?” Hank asked. Well let’s see if you can guess. She’s sweet, caring, romantic, and loves to have fun. So can you guess who it is?” Luis asked. “Yeah. It’s Beth isn’t it?” Hank asked. “Hell no! She’s nothing like Beth! Beth is a snob. This woman is nowhere near to being a snob.” “Okay I give up Luis, who is it?” “Sheridan Crane” “What!” Hank shouted. “I’m in love with Sheridan. You won’t even guess what I got to do. I “LUIS” got to feed her a lobster. Then she fed me some of her shrimp that she had on her plate. And to top it off I bought me and Sheridan tickets to a New York Yankees baseball game. I’ve always wanted to go to a baseball game and Sheridan said that she would love to go. Oh and if you and Beth want to come you can.” Luis said. “Well it sounds like you two had fun! Sure I’ll ask Beth to come. But what about the tickets?” Hank asked. “Oh I bought 2 extras in cause you and Beth decided to go.” Luis said. “Sounds great” Hank said.

“Hold on Hank, I think I hear something.” He turned around and caught himself staring into the beautiful blue eyes of Sheridan Crane. “Oh sorry Hank, its Sheridan. Can I let you go?” Luis asked eagerly to get off the phone and talk to Sheridan. “Yeah of course. When’s the game?” “This weekend. We’re leaving Friday and won’t be back until Monday. Bye.” Luis said. “Bye.” Hank replied. What are you doing out here by yourself? It’s really late you know.” Luis said. “I wanted to see you. I couldn’t spend another minute without seeing you. Did you mean everything you said to Hank on the phone? About being in love with me?” Sheridan asked. “Of course I did. Why would I lie?” Luis asked. “You wouldn’t lie. I know you’re an honest person and that’s what I love most about you. Not to mention how romantic you are.” Sheridan said. “I’m romantic? You call me romantic? I believe it was Hank that was always sending you roses and flowers and all that stuff.” Luis said. “Yeah, well I wouldn’t call that romantic. You are very romantic!” Sheridan said. “I try!” Luis said laughing. “How about if we take a walk.” Sheridan said. “Sounds good to me,” replied Luis. They started walking.

Luis reached over and grabbed Sheridan’s hand and held it tight.” “You know I would have never thought that you were so caring and loving Luis.” Sheridan said. “Well I get it from my father. He loved my mom so much. He cared about his family and then all of a sudden he just ups and leaves. I know your family has something to do with his disappearance. But I’m not holding anything against you, Sheridan. Nothing. It’s just that I miss him. My whole family misses him.” Luis said. “I’m sorry Luis. I just wish I had a simple life like yours.” Sheridan said crying. “Sher…don’t cry! I hate to see you cry. It tears my heart into when I see you cry. You shouldn’t cry. Everything will be fine. Especially with me in your life. I won’t let nothing happen to you. I’ll make sure of that.” Luis said brushing away Sheridan’s tears. “Thanks, Luis.” “How about if we go back to my house and listen to some music?” Luis said smiling. “Okay.” Sheridan said. They got into Luis’ truck and drove to his house. They walked in and Luis went and put a CD in the stero. “I love this song! I want you to listen to it. Here it is.

“So do you like it?” Luis asked. “It’s beautiful, Luis.” Sheridan said. “I know this may be a little too soon but”----Luis trailed off. He started kissing her on the lips. She reacted strongly. She threw her arms around his neck and fell back onto the couch. “Luis, we’ve got to stop! In case someone walks in. I wouldn’t want them catching us like this.” Sheridan said chuckling. “Yeah, you’re right. I’m suppose to be a role model for Miguel and Theresa. I’d better get you home anyway. You need your beauty sleep!” Luis said. “Yeah I’ve got to look good for the trip so that Hank will drool all over me. Wishing he was you.” Sheridan said smiling. “Every guy will wish he was me when I’m holding your hand at the ballgame.” Luis laughed. “For right now just get me home. We’ll worry about that later!” Sheridan said.

They walked out the door and got in Luis’ truck. On the way to Sheridan’s cottage they talked about the weekend. How much fun they would have. About 20 minutes later they arrived at Sheridan’s cottage. Neither one of them wanted to leave the other. “Well I guess this is goodnight.” Sheridan said. “Yeah, goodnight Sher.” “Goodnight Luis.” Sheridan said. Luis leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek and then on the lips. They pulled away and Luis started his truck and pulled away.

Chapter 2:

It was finally Friday. Sheridan couldn’t wait for Luis to pick her up. ‘I can’t believe my dream is finally coming true. All I’ve wanted since I came back to Harmony is to have a relationship with Luis. He’s so charming and god is he HOTT!!!! A knock on her door interrupted her thoughts. She opened the door to see Luis standing there with a tight black shirt on with a pair of blue jeans on. In his hands he had a bouquet of daises. “Hi Sheridan. Are you ready?” Luis asked handing her the daises. “Hi Luis. Yeah I’m ready, oh and thanks for the daises. How did you know they were my favorite though?” Sheridan asked. “Well I thought they were pretty and I figured you would like them, so I got them for you.” Luis replied. “Oh and Sheridan, you look amazing. Here let me carry your bag for you.” Luis said. “You look very handsome Luis as usual.”

And with that Sheridan leaned over and gave Luis a soft kiss on the lips. Beth and Hank just looked at them with a jealous look on their faces. Luis got into the driver’s seat of his truck and Sheridan got into the passenger seat. On the way to New York, Luis and Sheridan held hands. Sheridan wanted to listen to the radio so she turned it on and this song was coming on:

Chapter 3:

All Sheridan could do was laugh to herself. ‘What a perfect song’ she said to herself. ‘We do come from two different worlds but that won’t come between us. I’ll make sure of that.’ They stopped and got something to eat and then they were back on the road. Sheridan was getting really sleepy after all Luis’ truck had leather seats in it. (Luis is detective so he got a big pay raise and that’s how he has the nice truck!) Finally she drifted asleep. Luis fumbled with the radio until he found a song that he liked.

As the song was on Sheridan woke up and smiled at Luis. “That’s a good song!” Luis said. “Yeah it is Luis.” Beth said. “So I see that you finally decided to wake up sleepyhead.” Luis said looking at Sheridan. “Sure did.” She replied. “Well we’re almost at the hotel everybody.” Luis announced. They pulled into the hotel and Luis went in to get checked in. He came out with two keys, one for him and Sheridan and the other for Hank and Beth. Hank and Beth went to their room and Luis and Sheridan went into their’s. Sheridan took her shower first. She came out with a silky turquoise gown on. It took Luis’ breath away. All he was able to say was “I’ve got to go and take my shower.” Then walked away. Later he came out without a shirt on and Sheridan thought she would die just staring at his handsome body with water dripping from his head down his chest. “Am I that hot?” Luis asked teasing. “Oh sorry. I don’t mean to stare. So what do you want to do now?” Sheridan asked.

“Umm…how about we just go to bed, I’m tired and we’ve got a big day ahead of us tomorrow!” “Sounds good to me.” Sheridan announced. They snuggled up with each other in the same bed. Luis couldn’t go to sleep because it felt so good to have Sheridan in his arms. The next morning Sheridan woke up before Luis and she went down and got some donuts for them. While she was down there she ran into Beth. “How was your night?” Beth asked angrily. “It was very nice.” Sheridan replied. “I guess so if you’re sleeping with Luis. You know all you’re doing is using him for a boy toy then he’s gonna find out and dump you just like all the other men.” With that Sheridan took her donuts and went back to the room. Luis was already dressed when Sheridan got back. When she walked in Luis noticed that she was mad. “What’s wrong?” he asked. “Beth! That’s what’s wrong!” she yelled. “Oh god! Why can’t you two get along for a few days Sheridan!” Luis yelled at her. “You don’t even know what she said and you’re hollering at me! I hate you!” Sheridan screamed as she cried.

Chapter 4:

Sheridan ran and jumped on the bed and cried until she couldn’t cry anymore. All of a sudden she felt a hand on her pulling her into an embrace. A loving embrace. “Sheridan, I didn’t mean to yell at you its just that I wanted you and Beth to get along with each other. I’m sorry. Do you forgive me? Please say you do.” Luis begged. “It’s okay Luis. Its just that I was shocked at your tone. I’m okay now.” Sheridan said. “Will you tell me what Beth said to you?” Luis asked. “She said more less that she’s mad because I get to sleep with you and that I’m using you for a boy toy which is a lie! You believe me don’t you Luis?” “Of course I believe you!” They kissed passionately but sweetly. “Are you ready to go to the ballgame?” “Yeah let’s go.” Sheridan replied. They stopped and picked up Hank and Beth and then headed for the game.

They got to the game and were enjoying it when Beth decided to go to the restroom. She walked in, went to the restroom and came out. She was coming out around the corner when she was grabbed and taken to a dark room. Meanwhile Hank had noticed that Beth hadn’t came back yet so he asked Sheridan if she would go and make sure she was okay. Sheridan was turning the corner when someone grabbed her and took her where Beth was. They tied both of them up and locked them and left them to die.

Chapter 5:

Luis was getting worried about Sheridan because she had not came back yet. *Sheridan squeezed her hands through the rope and got free. She then walked over to Beth and untied her. They ran out of the darken room but they ran into someone. Luckily it was Luis and Hank. “Luis! Thank god. Someone locked us up and tried to kill us!” Sheridan said. “Where are they at?” Hank asked. “I don’t know they just took off.” Beth answered. Luis was to busy holding on to Sheridan to ask any questions or say anything. “Luis, can we go and finish watching the game?” “Yeah, I guess. Just stay by my side. Okay?” “Sure.” Sheridan replied. They went back to their seats and finished watching the game. The game was over and Sheridan decided that she wanted to go to the movies. “Well what are we going to go see?” Hank asked. “I want to see “Bounce”. It’s very romantic they say. Is that okay Luis?” “Yeah. Actually I wanted to see that movie.” At the movies they made their way to the seats.

Luis and Sheridan held hands during the movie. Every once in awhile Sheridan would lay her head on Luis’ shoulder. Luis was really liking this. At the end of the movie Sheridan and Luis stayed behind for a few minutes. “Luis, this has been so much fun! Thanks for choosing me to come with you.” Sheridan said sweetly. “There’s not another woman that I would want to take. I sure wouldn’t want to take Beth.” Luis said. They got up and met up with Hank and Beth. “Hey guys, I’m gonna take Sheridan somewhere special so Hank, you and Beth can go on back to the hotel.” Luis said. “Okay.” Replied Hank. “Where are we going?” Sheridan asked. “It’s a surprise! It’s really pretty at night though.” Luis said. They walked off holding hands.

Here we are! At the top of the Empire State Building overlooking the city. Isn’t it beautiful?” Luis said. “Oh my god Luis! This is so beautiful! And you said you weren’t romantic!” Sheridan said. “I’m so happy that you like it.” Luis said. “It’s getting cold are you ready to go back to the hotel?” Sheridan asked. “Yeah let’s go back.” Luis replied. They went back to the hotel and went to sleep in each other’s arms.

Chapter 6:

The next morning they got up and headed back home. At about 5:00 they were back at home. Luis dropped Beth and Hank off first. He got to Sheridan’s cottage and they walked up to the door when they found a letter on the ground by the door. They picked it up and went inside but stopped when they got inside, surprised at what they saw. Sheridan’s stuff was packed up in boxes. They opened the letter and Sheridan read it out loud. It read: Dear Sheridan, I’m sorry I have to this to you but you must move out. I found out about you and Luis and I will not have a Lopez-Fitzgerald marry a Crane much less my daughter, so to stay with Luis you must move out. Sorry I have to do this to my own flesh and blood but its all that I know to do. Your Father, Alistar

“Luis what am I going to do? Where am I going to stay? I have nowhere to go unless I stay at a hotel.” Sheridan said crying. “Don’t you even say that Sher. You’re coming with me. You’ll stay at my house.” Luis said holding Sheridan as tight as she could. “Thank you Luis. You’re so caring.” Luis and Sheridan picked up the boxes and put them in the back of Luis’ truck and went to the Book Café to get something to drink. As soon as they walked in Luis heard “Hey Luis!” He looked over and saw Beth staring at him. “Hey Beth. We would like two coffees and two blueberry muffins. Thanks Beth.” Luis said. He took Sheridan’s hand and led her to a spot in the corner by themselves and sat down. Soon after Beth came with their orders. “Luis, what’s all that stuff in the back of your truck?” “Oh that’s Sheridan’s stuff. She’s moving in with me and my family.

Come to think of it I need to call my mom to tell her that Sheridan’s moving in so she’ll make enough food for everyone tonight. I’ll be right back.” Luis got up and left. “I can’t believe you, you little slut! First you took Luis away from me and now you’re moving in with him! How dare you.” Beth said angrily. “That’s not how it is at all Beth. My father kicked me out and I had nowhere else to go and Luis offered to let me move in with him. I only had two choices either stay at the cottage and lose Luis or move out and stay with Luis…” “And she chose to stay with me.” Luis interrupted. “Well Luis, I hope you know what you got yourself into letting this rich slut move in with you. She’s just using you for her little boy toy. In about a month she’ll dump you and you’ll come back to me.” “That’s not going to happen Beth! You can have me. I belong to Sheridan and always will. Come on Sheridan let’s go home.” Luis said with an angry tone. “I can’t believe she said all mean things.” Luis said.

Chapter 7:

That night Sheridan ate dinner with Luis’ family. She tried to follow along with the conversations they were having but her thoughts were on what had happened that evening. ‘How could my family do this to me? I knew they weren’t all that nice but I sure didn’t know that they were this rude.’ Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard Luis say her name. “Did you day something Luis?” “Yeah I asked you if there was something wrong.” “Oh, I was just thinking about what all happened this evening. That’s all.” Sheridan said. “Why don’t you go and take a shower and get some rest Sheridan. You’ve had a long day.” Pilar said. “Yeah I think I will. Thanks Pilar for letting me stay here for a while.” Sheridan said.

“You’re welcome Sheridan.” Pilar replied. Sheridan went up to take a shower then later she came out wearing Cow pajamas with a sleeveless shirt on. She loved cow prints so she had ordered some Cow pajamas out of the ALLOY catalog. Little did she know that Hank was downstairs talking to Luis. Sheridan rushed downstairs to see Luis but when she got down there she Hank sitting on the couch talking with Luis. “Oh hi Sheridan. I didn’t know you were here.” Hank said shockingly. “Yeah buddy, Sheridan’s staying here with me. Her father kicked her out so she moved here. Come here Sher.” Luis said with his killer smile. Sheridan walked over to the couch and sat down beside Luis and rested her head on his shoulder. Luis was happy that she was with him and not Hank.

He could tell that Hank was getting really jealous. Luis was liking this, making Hank jealous. “Hey sweetie I think I’m gonna go to bed. I’m really sleepy. Where am I going to sleep?” Sheridan asked. “In my arms.” Luis said. Sheridan smacked Luis on his arm. “I’m being serious Luis.” “Okay. In my bed!” “Pilar won’t mind?” “She’s at work.” “Okay. See you later then.” Sheridan said. She kissed Luis on the lips. “Bye Hank.” “Bye Sheridan.” Hank replied. “Isn’t she so sweet and beautiful?” Luis asked. “Yeah she is.” Hank said. “Well I guess I should get going. Bye” Hank said. “Bye.” Luis replied. He went up to his room and climbed in the bed beside Sheridan. She snuggled up to him and went to sleep.

Chapter 8:

The next morning when Sheridan woke up Luis had already gone to work. She missed waking up beside Luis. She got up and got dressed, and then she went downstairs to eat breakfast with Theresa and Miguel. Sheridan stopped when she heard music coming from Theresa’s room. She liked the lyrics. They were so sweet to her.

“Wow! That’s a great song Theresa. Who sings it?” asked Sheridan. “Oh that’s the new British group ‘BBMak’, the song is called Still On Your Side.” Theresa said. Both her and Sheridan walked downstairs and ate breakfast. At around noon Sheridan thought she would go and surprise Luis at the station. As soon as she walked in the door everybody started screaming stuff like ‘Whoa! She’s sexy!’ or ‘Look at that chick!’ Luis came out of Sam’s office to see what all the screaming what about. He walked out and saw Sheridan. He went up to her and kissed her fully on the lips. “What are you doing here Sher?” Luis asked. “I thought I would surprise you! So did you like you surprise?” Sheridan asked. “I loved it!” replied Luis. “I’m glad you did.” Said Sheridan. “Hey, I was thinking maybe you and I could go out tonight like to the ‘Seascape Restaurant’, would you like that?” “Sure.

That sounds really nice. What time do you want to go Luis?” Sheridan asked. “Well I don’t get off until 7:00 so how about 8:00?” Luis said. “Sounds good.” Sheridan replied. At 5:00 Sheridan started getting dressed. She put on a silver dress with the back cut out of it. She put on her makeup and fixed her hair real nice. Meanwhile at 7:15 Luis came home and put on his Tux. (We all know how good he looks in a Tux) At 7:40 he came back downstairs and waited for Sheridan. A few minutes later Sheridan came down. Luis thought he was going to die. “God Sheridan, you are so beautiful!” Thanks Luis. You look handsome as usual.” Sheridan said. “So are you ready Sher?” “Yeah I’m ready.” Sheridan said. They walked off hand in hand.

Chapter 9:

Luis and Sheridan got to the Seascape and ordered their food. Sheridan went to the restroom for a minute. When she got in there Beth Wallace was in there. ‘Oh God’. Sheridan thought to herself when she saw Beth. “Hi Sheridan. I see that you’re with my man.” Beth said to Sheridan. “He’s not you man Beth! He’s mine!” Sheridan said angrily. “I take it you didn’t find out about my night with Luis last night.” Beth said. What are you talking about? Luis was with me until he had to go on duty.” Sheridan said. “Ha! You thought he was on duty. He was with me in my bedroom in my bed!” “I can’t believe this!” Sheridan cried. She ran out of the restroom to where Luis was and slapped him and ran out the restaurant. She couldn’t believe that Luis would do this to her. She had to get out of town. ‘I’ll go back to Paris. I’ll find Jean Luc.’ Sheridan said to herself. So she went back to the Lopez-Fitzgerald home and packed her stuff.

By the time that Luis had figured out what Beth had did, Sheridan was on a plane to Paris. “Moma have you see Sheridan?” Luis asked. “Yeah, she said she was leaving to go to Paris. What happened Luis?” Pilar asked. “A big misunderstanding that’s all.” Luis said. “I’m leaving for Paris moma. I have to find her.” “Alright son. Please be careful.” Pilar said. One hour later Luis was on a plane to Paris. ‘God, I have to find Sheridan. I love her to much to let her go. I hate Beth for doing this to me.’ Luis said to himself. Sheridan got off the plane and headed for her mansion in Paris. When she got there she unpacked everything and went into her bathroom and took a shower.

Later she got out and got dressed and went to start looking for Jean Luc. She went to his apartment and knocked on the door. “Can I help you miss?” the old lady asked. “Yes, I’m looking for Jean Luc.” Sheridan said. “I’m sorry miss but he got killed in a car accident last year.” “Oh. Well thanks anyway.” Sheridan couldn’t believe he was dead. She went to a park near the airport that she had seen earlier. She sat down on a bench and cried. Everything was going wrong for her. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder and turned around. She couldn’t believe who was standing there. It brought more tears to her eyes.

Chapter 10:

“What are you doing here Luis?” “I came to clear up the big misunderstanding that we had.” Luis said. “I can’t believe you did this Luis. I thought you cared about me. I guess I was wrong!” Sheridan said. “No you’re not wrong. I do care about you. Beth lied to you so that you would break up with me.” Luis said. “Is this true? Please tell me the truth.” Sheridan cried. “I’m telling you the truth. Now do you want to tell me why you’re out here crying?” Luis asked. “I went to look for Jean Luc and when I got to his apartment the woman said that he had gotten killed in a car accident. I couldn’t believe that he was dead. That’s why I was crying. Not to mention I thought I had lost you!” Sheridan said. Luis sat down beside her and hugged her closely.

“Listen to carefully Sheridan. You will never lose me. There’s no way you will loose me to Beth nor anyone else! I love you Sheridan Crane.” “I love you too Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald.” Sheridan replied. Later that night Luis and Sheridan were watching T.V. and snuggling together. “How long can you stay Luis?” Sheridan asked. “My plane is leaving at 9:00 tomorrow morning. I’m hoping you will come back with me.” Luis said. “Sure I’ll come back with you Luis. I couldn’t live without you.” Sheridan said as she hugged Luis. “As soon as we get back I’m going to look for a place of my own. They were always joking around and throwing stuff at each other. Finally they were finished so they went home and got dressed. Luis couldn’t wait until the dance. Luis and Sheridan would be chaperoning the dance along with Hank and Beth.

The dance had started and everyone was dancing. Luis and Sheridan were serving punch and Hank and Beth were just staring at them. Both jealous of what they saw. “Hey Luis why don’t we fast dance?” Sheridan asked. “No! I cannot fast dance. I refuse.” Luis said quickly. “Fine then I’m leaving you. I hate you Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald!” Sheridan said trying not to laugh. “Fine. The next fast song I’ll fast dance.” Luis said. After a few slow songs went off a fast song came on. Sheridan pulled Luis out on the dance floor. Chad Harris was playing “Faded” by Soul Decision.

Sheridan couldn’t believe Luis. He couldn’t dance but he was so cute when tried to. Beth couldn’t believe that Sheridan actually got Luis to get out there and dance. The song went off and Luis was so happy. ”See I told you I couldn’t fast dance, Sheridan.” “You were right about that. No offense or anything. You looked cute though trying to dance.” Sheridan said laughing. Luis was blushing. He was so embarrassed. “Okay guys it’s time to announce tonight’s favorite couple! They are Luis and Sheridan.” Chad said. Sheridan and Luis couldn’t believe they actually got it.

They said a few words and then the dance was over. One hour later Luis and Sheridan had finished cleaning the gym. Later Sheridan told Luis that she was going to go and take a shower. He wanted to follow her so badly but decided not to. Sheridan was in the shower when she thought she heard something. All of a sudden the shower curtains opened and there stood Luis without anything on. He stepped into the shower. Sheridan was speechless. Luis’ hands started roaming Sheridan’s naked body. Pilar had some towels in her hands when she heard someone scream in the bathroom. She ran in and saw Luis laying on top of Sheridan naked. Sheridan had slipped and fell and pulled Luis with her. “Get out right now Luis!”

Pilar screamed. “Moma, its not what you think.” Luis tried to explain. “I want you and Sheridan to move out. I can’t have this in my house. I’m sorry.” “Fine! I don’t really care. I’ll be glad to move out so that me and Sheridan can do our own thing!” Luis screamed. Sheridan couldn’t believe what was happening. She was being kicked out again. “Come on Sheridan we’ll go to the Harmony Hotel.” They packed up and left. The next morning Sheridan got up and started looking for a place to live. By the time that Luis got in that night to the hotel Sheridan had found a place to live.

It was a nice two-story house with a picket fence and a whole lot of land where they could have a farm. “Hey sweetie. I’m so glad you’re finally home. I missed you so much.” Sheridan said. “I missed you too.” “I found a place to live. It’s a two-story house with a picket fence and its big enough to have a farm.” Sheridan said excitedly. “That’s great Sher. I’m glad you’re coming with me. I want you to move in with me Luis. I love you.” Sheridan moved in closer and kissed him sweetly on the lips. “Okay, I’ll move in with you.” Luis said. “Thank you Luis. You don’t know what this means to me. I can’t wait.” Sheridan said smiling.

Sheridan was so happy that Luis was moving in with her. She was at the hotel waiting for Luis to get back with the rest of their stuff. She was getting ready to go to her realtor when Luis walked in. “Where are you going Sheridan?” Luis asked Sheridan as he put his arms around her waist. “To settle the deal on the house.” Sheridan answered. “Good, I’ll come with you.” Luis said. “Okay. That’s nice. I love it when you’re with me!” Sheridan smiled. “Was Pilar still angry with us?” “No all she said was that we could still come over when we wanted but she didn’t want us staying there anymore.” “I’m sorry Luis.” “It’s not your fault. I shouldn’t have came in there.” Luis said. “Well it’s all over now.” Sheridan said.

“At least we’re moving in together Sher. There’s nothing else I want to do. I want to spend every minute with you.” Luis said. “So do I Luis. Let’s go and settle the deal.” “Okay.” Luis replied. They got in Sheridan’s car and drove to the realtor. An hour later they started moving everything in. Luis went and bought a T.V. and DVD player. Sheridan went and bought all the furniture. By that night they had enough stuff, that they could stay there. The next morning they finished settling in. They didn’t have hardly anything so it didn’t take them long to get finished. They settled down that evening and Luis grilled some steaks on the grill. They ate and talked.

After they ate they watched a movie. Before the end of the movie Luis had already fell asleep. The movie went off and Sheridan woke Luis up and they went to bed. The next day, at the station was hectic for Luis since he had took the day off to move into the house. “Luis, we’ve got something big here. It looks like your father is in Harmony somewhere.” Sam said. Luis couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

“Sam, is this some kind of sick joke?” Luis asked. “Sorry Luis. It’s not. This man has killed a woman here in Harmony. We have to arrest him.” Sam said. “Sir. That’s just been done.” The cop said as he took the man into the cell. “Father?” Luis asked. “Luis? Listen I’m not your father. The Cranes killed him when you were just a little kid. I’m an imposter. I knew your father really well. He was a good guy.” The impostor said. “Why did they kill him and where’s his body at?” “He owed the Cranes money and he couldn’t pay it so they killed him. They dug a hole about one mile behind the mansion and put his body in it.

I wasn’t supposed to tell all this. As for Alistar he’s living in a mansion in Spain. I’m sorry Luis about your father.” The man said. “Thanks. You don’t know what you’ve did for me and my family.” Luis said. And with that they took the man away. During all of this Sheridan had came in and had heard everything. She couldn’t believe that her family killed Luis’ father. “Sheridan, thank god you’re here.” Luis said as he hugged her tightly. “I’m sorry Luis. I hope you’ll still love me.” “Of course I’ll still love you. You didn’t have anything to do with killing my father.

In fact how about if we go to the Lobster Shack.” Luis said. “Ok.” Sheridan replied. Inside his jacket, Luis played with the black box that had a diamond ring in it. He hoped it was the right time. At the Lobster Shack Sheridan and Luis ordered lobster. All of a sudden Luis got up and went and kneeled down to Sheridan. Sheridan had tears swelling up in her eyes as Luis began his proposal. “Sheridan, you’re my everything. You’re everything I’ve always wanted. I’ve known you for only a year and a half. In that period of time I have fallen madly in love with you. I can’t help but be mesmerized by your beauty.

So Sheridan will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?” “Of course Luis! I love you so much. I couldn’t live without you. You’re the most caring man in the world.” Sheridan said with tears streaming down her face. With that Luis nodded at the D.J. and he started playing a song. Except Luis went on stage and started singing.
