Chapter 1:
Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald walked into the board room of Crane Global and sat in the chair at the
head of the table. He straightened his maroon/red tie and flashed a smile at Ethan Crane. Ethan
walked over as Luis was opening his briefcase. “Nice suit, Fitz. Since when do we wear contrasting shirts?” The glimmer of amusement was plain in his hazel
eyes. Luis glanced once again at the red on red underneath his black suit jacket and smiled. Since Theresa says I look like some variable 20 types of shit most days we have meetings.
Apparently Blue and Gray are
‘so last year’” He said mocking his designer sisters disapproving
voice.
“Looks good, man”
Ethan commented, going back to his chair.
During their conversation, the other 4 members of the board, 2
prospective
clients, and 1
secretary to type minutes had arrived and taken their positions down
the
mahogany table. At
11:15 Luis stood up. “My name is Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald, and I am
running
the Harmony branch
of Crane Global, which as you are aware is the launching pad for the
entire
company’s affairs.
Obviously you know Ethan Bennett, formerly Crane, who is resigning as
my
partner due to
family matters and marrying my sister.” Luis smiled as Ethan gave him a
salute.
“There was a another member scheduled to be here today, apparently
flown in
from the Paris
extension of Global, to take over Ethan’s job, but we haven’t heard
from
him and he’s not here
yet, so unfortunately we will have to adjourn this meeting until I have
my
new right hand. He’s
very efficient and a feisty business person according to the stats from
Paris C-G and I look
forward to his contribution as should you, Gentlemen. Until further
notice...” Luis shook each of
their hands as they left the meeting and watched them board the shuttle
tram that would
transport them to the main building where all the technical and
advertising
was.
He turned back
into the boardroom, amusement gone from his face. He sat on the edge of
the
table and cast a
sidelong glance toward the hallway. “Man, it won’t be the same without
you
here all day. And
this new person from Paris has a lot of nerves, screwing up that deal.
His
ass couldn’t even
SHOW for the first damn meeting as assistant manager. Do we really want
someone like that at
the helm?” He sounded skeptical. Ethan seemed distracted, looking over
Luis’s shoulder into the
hall. “What are you looking at Ethan?” He just pointed.
Luis gazed down the hall and saw the blonde running, looking at each
door
as she passed it, and
appearing terribly upset. Luis let out a laugh as she tripped on her
own
feet and fell face first into
the lush carpet. She stood up and marched up to him, hand extended.
“You
must be Luis! Im
here from Paris, I assume I am now under your command? By the way-
Ethan,
good to see you
darling, it’s been far too long.” She smiled. “Aunt Sheridan!” Ethan
rushed
and grabbed her in a
bear hug. Luis just stood back and watched this...powerhouse...get
reacquainted with her
nephew?? This could NOT be the business person he was supposed to put
up
with in Ethan’s
definite absence?!!?
Luis turned only when the door was slammed, signaling it was just him
and
her in that room.
“I’m Sheridan Crane” She said nonchalantly, as if it made so much damn
difference, by way of
introduction. “And you are late. May I remind you we had an 11:15 this
morning? You royally
screwed up our deal.”
He couldn’t help the edge that crept into his
voice.
“Oh shit! I forgot the
damn time change. Oh for god’s sakes Luis I’m sorry” she said, sitting
her
purse on a chair.
“First of all MISS CRANE, I will NOT tolerate that type of language
anytime
we are interacting
with potential stock holders and you will, I assume be dressed
more...ahem
appropriately for our
first meeting you decide to attend?” He said eyeing her python jumpsuit
and
thigh high beaded
mini and stiletto heels. “Sure thing. First impressions are lasting”
she
said sarcastically.
She
turned around so he wouldn’t see the tears burn her eyes, and left,
sashaying down the hall way
and stepping into the tram. Luis walked straight to the water pump and
poured a glass. He didn’t
know why he had been so harsh with her. And what’s more, he didn’t know
for
the life of him,
how that damn micro mini skirt had him all hot and bothered. All she
did
was walk in and out.
Damn, he was not even gonna fool around with this one. Sure, he was the
most wanted bachelor
in the U.S. but, there was no way some one like her would win out in
the
end. She was
unpolished and rude and...a Crane..
Tuesday night, Luis walked into the meeting room and sat down at the
table.
They still had
fifteen minutes before calling it to order, so he sipped a Latte and
watched Sheridan talk to one
of the members. At 8:00 he stood up and pulled her chair out for her.
“Thanks for the change” he
whispered, referring to her outfit which was a red 2 piece suit with a
plunging neckline, her
chest decorated with a gold tiered necklace. It was still a little
showy,
and it turned Luis on more
than he would like to admit, but it was better than that damn skirt.
“You
clean up real nice too”
she said. He rolled his eyes. She looked him up and down in his black
slacks, white tight t-shirt
and blazer. “Sheridan Crane will be running alongside me in this
venture
and so I will let her
take the reins of this meeting. It’s all yours.” He sat down.
“...and so gentlemen, I can guarantee you will make double the money
funding us” She pointed
to the last chart on her presentation board. They all looked impressed.
“There is only one thing
our corporation is worried about. You have taken over a position which
was
surrounded by
scandal, what with the parentage and all, and you are a direct
benefactor
of Alistair Crane as his
daughter. Your records prove you are capable of handling business, but
we
are leery of a rift due
to the situation.” She smiled alluringly at the man. “Global will
operate
as usual, no speed-
bumps.”
After the papers were signed, and the men left Sheridan closed the door
and
leaned into it,
sighing. “Thank God that’s over!” she said happily with her eyes shut.
She
didn’t even realize
Luis was in front of her. “You did great.” he said. She opened her eyes
to
find him extremely
close to her. “Thanks....the offices are closing” she said softly as a
hallway lamp switched off. “I
know...I was watching you up there...I see why they sent you here.” She
noticed his eyes were
smoldering. “Is that so? I don’t have any affect on you do I?” she
asked
coquettishly. He pinned
her up against the door and locked it. He kissed her on the lips and
she
responded immediately,
wrapping her arms around his neck and prying his lips open with her
tongue.
They kissed
passionately before she pushed him onto the big long table. “What do
you
want from me?” She
asked hoarsely. Kissing him and pulling his shirt over his head. She
kissed
his chest, licking him
up and down, belly button to throat. “That’s a loaded question. I
noticed a
fire in you when you
walked in that first day, just how hot is that flame?” he asked,
innuendo
apparent. “Pretty damn
hot, I wouldn’t want you to get burned.” she said. “So hot if I took
you
here on this table we’d
set off the smoke alarms?” “Oh yeah” He sat up and unzipped the jacket
to
her suit revealing a
beautiful body.
His hands went to work waking up her body, playing with
her
breasts. “You have
the most gorgeous boobs” he said, kissing them. They stripped the rest
of
the way down.
Sheridan didn’t miss the impersonal way he referred to her ‘boobs’ It
was a
little bit
chauvinistic, but hey, she could get back at that. She took his large
manhood in her tiny hands
and began massaging it, eliciting moans from him. She was getting
turned on
watching him get
turned on.
“Nice dick” she said before kissing him. “Funny” he said
without
a trace of humor.
They began giving each other very erotic pleasures, doing nasty things
with
each other. Finally
he was sick of playing sex games, he wanted her. He entered her very
slowly, and she put her
legs around his hips urging him to move faster. He pushed but it didn’t
take long for either of
them to climax. It was a good thing the damn office was closed because
their moans and screams
could be heard all down the halls. “OH my gosh Luis that was amazing”
She
kissed him and got
up pulling on her clothes.
He did the same. He picked up her lacy black
undies and held them by
his finger. “Forget something?” he asked “Nope, keep em’. I hope I
won’t be
needing them next
time we meet” she ran a hand down his face, down his chest and zipped
his
pants. “Don’t need
to leave any evidence” she said, closing the door, leaving Luis to
clean up
the mess they had
made of the board room. Man he could never be able to eat or drink from
that table again unless
he was devouring her body there. What a woman.

Chapter 2:
Sheridan walked into the shop’s front door. She had to do some
shopping.
There was no way her
L.A./ Paris clothing would fit into Harmony Lifestyle, and it looked
like
she’d be there for a
while, which wasn’t what she’s expected. That is until Luis called her
that
morning, the morning
after the meeting where they had.....
~FLASHBACK~
“Hello?” “Sheridan, this is Luis...” “Hey! Any meetings scheduled
anytime
soon?” She knew
she was being very forward, but judging from how he’d acted last night,
it
was ok to overstep.
“Actually yes, and yes sweetheart. As in yes I definitely want to
‘meet’
with you again and yes
you have many more corporate obligations...you’ll be working here for a
while” He said, and
although some of his call had been business related, she got the point.
She
caught the flirt in his
tone, and Damn, if she didn’t love it. “Ok then! I look forward to it.
Soon, Luis. Chow.” She
hung up feeling in control of both their relationships.
Luis walked into his sister’s shop about an hour after calling
Sheridan.
“Resa! Resa are you
there?” He hollered. “Back here, come give me your honest opinion on
this
outfit.” Luis smiled,
rolling his eyes and heading into the back where Theresa created some
of
her once in a lifetime
originals. Standing there in a black leather ball room skirt and a deep
burgundy fur halter,
backless and crisscross tied with burgundy suede was Sheridan. She
looked
up and her eyes,
thickly adorned in black and grey shadows gave him chills. “My god!” he
whispered. He walked
to Sheridan forgetting Theresa was in the room. He laid a deep kiss on
her
lips. “Theresa, I think
I’m gonna get this now, and finish my shopping tomorrow. I think...Im
going
out to dinner” She
looked up at Luis who nodded yes. “You know her Luis?” Theresa asked.
“Yeah, she’s my new partner at the firm, and well, to say the least we
got
acquainted” he
blushed slightly.
“So I assume my fiancee’s aunt has you a bit worked
up,
brother?” Theresa
punched him in the arm. He was about to toss a hand full of feathers
that
had been on display at
her but Sheridan walked out, holding a black leather purse and she’d
added
a ruby bracelet.
“Ready, boss?” she asked confidently walking in the strappy sandals
towards
him. He just led
her out of the building.
“You look so incredibly sexy right now” he said to her under his
breath,
forming clouds of fog in
the cold air. “As do you” She slid her arm in the crook of his and they
drove towards the
seascape. She and Luis were seated immediately. “You must have pull
here!
Im a damn Crane
and I don’t get treated that well” He just raised and eyebrow. After
they
ordered, Sheridan
leaned over the table.
“We have a little business...to discuss” he
whispered, tipping the
champagne glass back so she could drink from it. “True...now
this...alliance of the
two...companies...are there any terms your ‘company’ are hell bent on
having?” she asked. “I
don’t know, that depends on what your ‘company’ and aforementioned
company
will be doing”
he said softly. “Well it appeared we got a lot accomplished at the
meeting
last night”
“Yes we sure did. And I liked the way it...went down” he said with a
glimmer in his eye
as the waiter sat down their plates. “All parties involved agree.” She
picked up her fork and
speared a piece of lettuce. “It’s my companies procedure to keep what
happens within the
company from the public.” “My company agrees to abide by that term.
What
I...we...want to
know is would it be possible to put in some overtime...not all our
meetings
have to be in the
boardroom. I like to interact on a more...private basis when the ‘big
ones’
go down.” “You’ll get
no argument here.” He reached across the table and covered her hand
with
his. “Deal begins
tonight.” “Sure thing” she shook his hand. And it was settled. Their
relationship was purely
sexual and no one had to know. Especially the papers, and the reporter
who
was sitting behind
them They both knew he was there, and the use of business terms went
off
well.
At 2:00 am after the Seascape closed, Luis led Sheridan out to his
black
sports car. They were
both extremely drunk from the two bottles of Champagne they had drank,
and
Sheridan was all
over him, barely walking and having trouble keeping from kissing his
neck.
“Luis...I want you”
she whispered in his ear. “Tomorrow, Sheridan. Your loaded” He laughed
and
she did too.
Moments later he looked over and saw she was asleep.

Chapter 3:
Luis arrived at the little penthouse Sheridan was living in half an
hour later since it was just
outside of Harmony’s corporate limits. He looked over at her and felt a
pull at his heartstrings.
What exactly was it about her that he liked? I mean, there was the
body,
and the style and that
aura of you can touch me but you cant hold me that she exuded. And he
wanted to unearth what
kept her at bay.
He ran his hand down her cheek. “Oh, Luis...” she rolled towards his
seat
in her slumber. She
opened her eyes abruptly when she hit the console between the seats.
“You’re home.” She
smiled coyly.
At that moment, he fell in love with Sheridan Crane. With
her
mascara smeared
under her half open eyes, and no lipstick on her pale pink pout,
smiling in
one of her few he
deducted, unguarded moments. She had the crease of the car seat’s
leather
padding on her cheek.
He turned off the car and walked around to the other side, opening her
door
for her and taking
her hand once she got on her feet. They walked hand in hand up towards
the
building. The
doorman stepped aside when the entered. Once inside the elevator
Sheridan
smiled at Luis in the
glass panels. She slid the card into the slot that was required for the
elevator to even go to the
penthouse floor. At the ding of the bell the mahogany doors opened into
a
spacious entry way
that was her apartment.
High pillars made of stone rose to support
arches
that led off from the
place where the elevator opened. The floor was a beautiful stone
pattern of
maroon and deep
orange which came from a golden sunshine in the center. One of the
arches
opened into the
living room, one to a long hallway with deep wine colored carpet and
one
revealed a curving
stair case which was only 10 steps high but had to lead to the bedroom.
The
ceiling was a
creamy color and had a huge round glass skylight directly over the sun
design on the floor and
another over the couch in the living room. The french style window had
cream sheers and wine
drapes pulled closed. He watched Sheridan sit her purse on the mahogany
table in the entrance,
and walk up the stairs.
He followed her, obsessed with her motions.
Sheridan pulled open two more mahogany doors that opened into her
bedroom.
Luis
stood in the doorway and watched her peel off the halter top, and unzip
the
skirt. When she
stepped out of it, tossing her shoes in a corner Luis noticed the long
slender line her body made.
She sat on the edge of the bed and peeled off her black stockings and
underwear. She climbed
into bed. “Are you coming to bed or not?” she asked. He pushed the door
shut and undressed
himself very quickly. She reached for the Tiffany Lamp and turned it
off
just as he climbed
under the sheets with her. Without the light the lamp afforded, he was
left
in pitch darkness. She
reached over him, her breast brushing his forehead. He had no idea why,
until he heard a soft
buzzing and a click.
He looked up and noticed that the ceiling which
had
been cream ceiling
moments before had mechanically opened to a glass dome with stars and
natural light from the
moon spilling in and illuminating her slender body beneath his hard
muscular one. She ran her
hand down his face. “Let’s do business” she whispered. He didn’t need
to be
told twice. He took
her in his arms and began kissing her lips. She moaned and he used the
opportunity to slip his
tongue into her mouth and she responded desperately. That night they
kneaded each other’s skin,
kissed, tasted, and loved, learning about each other and taking the
time to
explore instead of a
frantic tumble on a table. They made sweet love for hours and neither
knew
what they were
doing, only that the sensations the other caused were more inebriating
than
the champagne from
earlier.
