Background on this fanfic: Center Stage was a movie about ballerinas
and
their lives. FORGET everything you know about the characters on
Passions.....no one is related, no one knows the other. (Well except
for Sam
and Ivy) Sam and Ivy are ballet teachers who are teaching a new crop
of
ballerinas who made it into the Harmony School of Ballet. (PS: I
changed
the ages a little)
They are:
Sheridan: 18 year old, involved with Ethan, an aspiring
choreographer.
Luis: 19 year old, one of the best new students.
Sam: 28 year old , ballet instructor, has the hots for Ivy.
Ivy: 26 year old, another ballet instructor, oblivious to Sam's desire.
Kay: 16 year old, has the hots for Ethan.
Miguel: 16 year old, has the hots for Kay.
Whitney: 18 year old, has a BAD temper, but very good at ballet.
Chad: 18 year old, gay, very good at ballet.
Ethan: 20 year old, boyfriend of Sheridan, already a member of the Harmony
company.
Theresa: Bulemic, but very good at ballet.
Chapter 1:
A young, skinny, blond haired girl lifted her bags out of the taxi.
She
shut the trunk door, and looked at the building. "Well, I'm here."
Sheridan
said to herself. She lifted her bags, and walked towards the door.
She went
inside, and went to the front desk. "Hi, I'm Sheridan Crane. I am a
student
at the Harmony Ballet Academy..."
The secretary looked at her. "Ah, yes....I see your name on the
computer. I just need an ID, and I'll give you your key." Sheridan
showed
her her ID, and she got a shiny silver key.
"Thanks." Sheridan smiled, and went towards the elevator.
"Hmm...room
503." She got onto the elevator and pushed the 5 button. She looked
around
the elevator, and she saw an attractive guy in his twenties.
Sheridan
smiled
at him, and he winked at her. She got off the elevator, and she walked
down
the hallway. "Here's 503." She saw the door was open, and she peered
inside. She smiled a person in there. "Hi, I'm Sheridan Crane."
The girl looked at her. "Whitney, Whitney Russell."
Sheridan stuck out her hand. "Nice to meet you. I guess I'm your
roommate!" Whitney smiled. She shook Sheridan's hand.
Sheridan looked around the room. "Well....whose bed is whose?"
Whitney looked at her. "I took the that bed already," she said,
pointing to the bed on the left.
Sheridan smiled. "Okay. I'll take that one..."
Sheridan placed her bags on the bed. "I need to get some water."
Whitney nodded.
Sheridan walked out the door, and bumped into a
very
tall, muscular man. His jet black hair glistened in the light, and his
hazel
eyes sparkled when he caught sight of the blushing blonde. "Hi..."
The handsome man smiled. "I'm so sorry. Are you okay?"
Sheridan nodded. "Oh yeah, I'm fine..." She said, staring into
his
eyes. "So..."
He smiled. "What's your name?"
"Sheridan Crane. Yours?"
"Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald."
"Nice to meet you, Luis."
"You too, Sheridan. Are you a new student here?"
Sheridan nodded. "Yeah. I'm so nervous! Harmony is one of the
biggest
ballet schools in the world..."
Luis sighed. "Don't worry. I'm new too."
Sheridan smiled. "Well I was going to get some water..."
Luis got the hint. "Okay. Maybe I'll see you around?"
Sheridan nodded. "Definitely. Bye, Luis."
Luis smiled. "Bye."
Sheridan walked to the elevator and went down. She went to a
vending
machine and put in a dollar. She pushed a button, but the water bottle
wouldn't come out. She cursed under her breath, and she kicked the
machine.
"Now that's no way to get your water."
Sheridan spun around. It was the same guy she saw on the elevator.
"Uh...hi."
The brown-haired man went to the machine. He pressed the button
for a
couple of seconds, and the water popped out.
Sheridan smiled. "Thanks!"
The man smiled. "No problem. Are you a new student here?"
Sheridan nodded. "Yeah, I am."
The man nodded. "I'm Ethan Bastain. I choreograph for the ballet
academy."
Sheridan smiled. "I'm Sheridan Crane...just a lowly student."
Ethan smiled. "You're not lowly. Hey...would you like to go out
sometime?"
Sheridan chuckled. "Sure..."
Ethan flashed a smile. "Great! I'll see ya around, then."
Sheridan nodded. "Yeah. Nice to meet you, Ethan."
"You too, Sheridan."
Sheridan smiled. This ballet gig was gonna be interesting.

Note: I changed the character of Chad. He's not gay anymore. And I
also
added one more character, Charity.
Chapter 2:
A tall, brown-haired girl looked out the window of her dorm room.
She
watched the pouring rain cascade down the window, and she frowned. She
heard
a noise from the doorway and quickly turned around. A very skinny,
dark-haired girl peered into the room from the doorway, and smiled at
the
frowning girl. "Hi, my name's Theresa! Are you Kay?"
The frowning girl answered, "Yeah, I'm Kay. Are you my roommate?"
Theresa smiled. "Yes I am!" She looked arund the room. "Can I
have
this bed?"
Kay nodded. "Sure, no prob. So are you new here?"
Theresa shook her head. "No....I've been here for a couple of
years
already."
Kay smiled. "Really...? Are there any hot guys?"
Theresa smiled. "Let me see....there were plenty of hoyyies last
year,
but they all graduated, and got into companies. But I hear that this
year's
batch is gonna be good."
Kay laughed. "What do you know about Ethan Bastain? He is so
adorable!
I see him in all these magazines..."
Theresa frowned. "He is one of the most stuck up, cocky assholes
in the
Harmony company. Believe me, you do not want to be involved with him."
Kay looked shocked. "Oh."
They both heard a knock on the door, and a smiling blonde walked
in.
"Hi! I'm Charity, your new roommate!"
Theresa smiled, and they shook hands. "Hi, I'm Theresa Iglesias,
and
this is Kay..."
Kay answered. "I'm Kay Polanic." She took a look at Charity, and
she
smiled.
"I'm Charity Standish. Well....is this my bed?"
Theresa nodded. "Yeah." Charity set her things down, and she
looked
around the room.
Kay's stomach growled, and she blushed. "Hey, I'm gonna go and get
a
bite to eat. Anyone wanna come?"
Theresa's eyes lit up, and she frowned. "No thanks....I'm not
hungry."
Charity shook her head. "Me neither....I have to unpack."
Kay shrugged her shoulders, and went out the door. She walked down
the
hallway, and waited for the elevator. A handsome dark-haired man stood
right
next to her, and Kay turned around and smiled.
The man spoke. "Hey, I'm Miguel Martinez."
Kay responded. "Kay, Kay Polanic."
Miguel smiled. "Nice name. You new here?"
Kay nodded. "Yeah. You?"
The elevator opened, and he responded. "Yeah, I am. Are you
nervous
about tomorrow?"
Kay nodded. "Just a lot!"
Miguel laughed. "So, where are you going?" Kay looked at his
shimmering
blue eyes.
"I'm going to get something to eat."
Miguel smiled. "Me too! None of my roommates wanted to come, so I
just
went by myself."
Kay laughed. "Really? Mine too.... Do you want to come with me?"
Miguel smiled. "I'd love to." The elevator opened, and they
walked out.
"So, where are you from?"
Kay looked over at Miguel. "Houston. You?"
Miguel smiled. "Seattle. You seeing anybody?"
Kay blushed a little. "No. You?"
Miguel shook his head. "No. Girls don't seem to like male
ballerinas.
They think all are gay."
Kay smiled. "I take it you're not then."
Miguel looked over. "Not at all."
They walked out the door, and down the street. Kay looked at
Miguel.
"So, where are we going?"
"Pizza House. I hear it's really good."
Kay smiled. "Yum! I love pizza."
They got to the restauraunt, and they sat down in a booth. They
ordered
their pizzas. Kay looked at Miguel. "So....do you have any brothers
or
sisters?"
Miguel shook his head. "No. I'm an only child. What about you?"
Kay nodded. "Yeah, I have a bratty little sister, Jessica."
Miguel laughed. "I wish I had a sister."
Kay shook her head. "No you don't. Believe me, you don't."
They got their drinks, and Miguel raised his red cup. "Here's to
dancing
our butts off!"
Kay laughed, and clinked her glass against his.
*This is not turning out to be too bad,* she thought.

Chapter 3:
Chad looked up at the massive buliding. "Man. That is huge...."
He
walked towards the front steps and saw a pissed-off looking girl walk
past
him. He checked her up and down and smiled. "Mmm girl, can you tell
me what
time it is?"
Whitney rolled her eyes. "Time for you to stop drooling."
Chad's mouth opened. "Ouch!"
Whitney continued to walk, and Chad follwed her. "What are you
doing?"
Chad smiled. "Nothing. Name's Chad by the way."
Whitney looked at him. "Name's I Don't Give A Shit About You."
Chad smiled and laughed. "That's a long name for such a pretty
lady."
Whitney glared at him and continued on her way.
"I'll see you around, then!"
Whitney looked at him and frowned. "Not on your life!"
Chad just smiled, and went in the door. He walked to the front
desk, and
got his keys. He went on the elevator, and pushed the 5 button. He
got off,
and went to his room. He saw a dark-haired man watching Friends and
eating
some Doritos. "Hey man, I'm Chad. Your new roommate?"
Luis smiled. "Hey! What's up, I'm Luis."
Chad looked around the room. "So, who's the other roommate?"
Luis looked at the bed. "His name's Miguel. He's cool."
Chad nodded. "Watching Friends?"
Luis laughed and nodded. "Yeah....don't worry, I'm not gay."
Chad nodded. "Neither am I. Is..."
"Miguel? I don't think he is."
"Ok."
Luis looked at the TV. All he could think of at that moment was
the
beatiful blonde he mest just a little while ago. *I can't wait to see
her
again.* He thought to himself.
Meanwhile....
"Sam. We need to get ready for tomorrow's class."
"Ivy. Don't worry. Everything is under control."
"I have no idea why I ever agreed to working with you. You are one
of
the most stubborn men I have ever met!"
"Calm down, babe..."
Ivy glared at Sam. "Babe?"
Sam nodded.
Ivy took a ballet shoe and threw it at him. "No one calls me babe.
Now
let's get to work!"
Sam laughed. "Ay ay captain!" Meanwhile, Miguel and Kay finished their pizza and were walking back
to the
dorm.
"I am so nervous about tomorrow, Miguel."
"I am too, Kay. But don't sweat about it. Everything will turn
out to
be just fine. Believe me."
"Thanks, Miguel. You know what? I have a feeling that we're gonna
be
good friends."
Miguel smiled. "Me too, Kay."
