Sheridan awoke to birds chirping and sunlight streaming into her room. He then poured her a cup of coffee and sat down. They both began to eat, unsure of what to say. “You know,” Sheridan interrupted, breaking the silence, “I could get used to this.” “What?” Luis asked. “Having you in my kitchen every morning.” She answered. “Oh. And here I thought you wanted me here every morning because you loved me. Now I find out it’s just for my cooking.”

Sheridan laughed at Luis’ remark. “Well somebody has to be an expert! We all know that I’m not!” “That hurts Sherry,” Luis joked. Sheridan laughed again. “Oh Luis. You know I love you!” “You do?” he playfully asked as he stuck his bottom lip out. “Of course I do!” “Well good cause I love you too.” Luis said as he leaned over and gave Sheridan a kiss. The two continued eating their breakfast. ** About an hour later… Luis was sitting on the couch reading the newspaper, thinking of Sheridan. She walked in the room and sat down beside him. “And where have you been?” Luis playfully asked as he gave her a light kiss. “Putting some laundry to wash,” Sheridan answered. “Sounds like fun,” Luis joked as he kissed her again. “Hmm..very fun,” she kissed him back. “What are you doing?” “Just reading the paper.” “Anything interesting?” Sheridan asked. “Not as interesting as you.” Luis replied as he threw the paper down on the coffee table and turned to face her. She put her arm around his neck and scooted closer to him. “Good,” she said as she kissed him. “Because I’ve been thinking about you ever since I woke up this morning.”

She leaned up and gave him a kiss. “And we will be Sheridan. I promise you that. We’ll get our own place, get married, raise a family, and grow old together. You know why? Because that’s the way it’s supposed to be.” “I know it is. And I’m looking forward to all of it, especially practicing to have kids,” Sheridan giggled as she rested her head on Luis’ chest. “Me too baby!” he said as he wrapped his arms snugly around her. The two soon feel into a peaceful slumber. They awoke many hours later and Luis kept all his promises to her, beginning with the one about practicing to have a family.
