**Note**: This Fan fiction is nothing like Passions. This story has songs that are sung by Luis and Sheridan or only Luis and only Sheridan. Luis was watching TV and he suddenly fell a sleep. When he woke up, he was stunned to see the time because he was supposed to pick up Hank from the Airport. Luis rapidly went to the door and saw an angry Hank was standing.
”I’m so sorry Hank” Luis asked for forgiveness because he knew this was second time he forgot to pick up Hank form the airport.
”You are a worthless man. You called me here from Harmony and don’t even come to receive me from airport.” Said Hank
”I’m going back by the evening flight.” Hank told Luis
”Look, I’m really sorry” Luis apologized once again.
”My interview was to be aired on television. I went off to sleep waiting for it. I couldn’t even watch it because suddenly I went to sleep.” Luis told Hank
Hank still mad at Luis looked away.
”Please forgive me” Luis asked for forgiveness once again
”At least embrace me once” said Luis
Hanks looked away for a second and then back at Luis.
”Won’t you even hug me?” asked Luis.
”Say it again” said Hank
”Please. I am really sorry I couldn’t come and pick you up.”
Hank smiled and hugged his best friend.
”How are you buddy?” Hank asked as he pulled away.
”I’m doing great, why are you wet?” Luis asked when he saw Hank half wet.
”Some kids threw a water balloon at me man” Hank told Luis laughing.
Luis Chuckled and said, “They must be the kids next door, they are very naughty.”
Hank looked around and said “What is this, living room, kitchen, computer, sofa, and bedroom in the room? Why not bring a bathroom here too?”
”Well Hank that is why we call his a Studio apartment. Why don’t you go and change and I’ll make coffee for us” said Luis.
”Anyway I have to do whatever you say today since I couldn’t come and pick you up from the airport.”
Hank looked around and said, “This is what you call an apartment. Everything in one room. And that reminds me you had built a house for yourself, right? Why don’t you stay there?” Hank asked as he walked over to Luis to get his coffee.
”I had built the house for Mama and Papa but after they died, I don’t feel like going there. When Theresa comes home from college over the holidays, we both go there together.
Just to clean up and light some candles” Luis told Hank and Hank saw a tear in Luis’s eyes. Hank didn’t mean to bring bad memories back for his best friend. Even he missed having Pilar and Martine around. They both were like his parents. Hank comforted Luis.
”Luis, I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to bring back bad memories.”
”It’s ok, I guess I just need to let my emotions come out I guess. It still hurts some times. I miss Mama and Papa so much. Never in million years, I ever thought that they would leave Theresa and me at the young age. Especially Theresa, she was only 17 when they died. Whenever she comes home, she cries and is always telling me how she wished they were here today. In two months, she will be graduating from college. Mama and Papa would have been so proud of her today. She has grown up and took a lot of responsibilities.” Luis told Hank.
Luis and Hank talked for a while and then turned in for the night.

Chapter 1:
The next few days went by really fast. Luis was standing in front of the crowd with his boss and the owner of the company he worked for. His boss looked at Luis and said to everyone " This years FDA awards has proved that Luis is the best. Luis is the star of the evening" He handed Luis a bottle of champagne, and of course, Luis did the honor of opening it. Everyone cheered for him. A few seconds later Luis and Hank were going around talking with people. Then some one called him from behind and Luis turned around and said, "Yes?"
"Him my name is Chris" Chris said before shaking his hand with Luis and Hank.
"Hi, have we met before?" Luis asked Chris because Chris kind of looked familiar to Luis.
"No, but I've heard a lot about you and Congratulations."
"Thank you"
"By the way, I do the same business in Harmony, you do here" Chris told both Hank and Luis.
"Really?"
"Yeah, I run a small industry by the name of "Crane Industries"." Chris told Luis
"Of course, who hasn't heard about Crane Industries" Luis said as he took a card from Chris.
The two chatted for a while, discussing Harmony and How Luis moved to Boston after Pilar and Martine died in a car accident. The two chatted like they had known each other for years. Luis and Chris became friends really fast.
"Are you leaving today?" Luis asked Chris
"Yeah, I have to leave tonight"
"Well, Chris, it was very nice meeting. I hope we keep in contact." Luis said and gave his phone number to Chris.
"You too Luis, and we definitely have to keep in contact."
"Do you know what a wedding dress is?" Chris asked Luis as he bent down to pick up a bag from the floor.
"Yeah I do"
"Is there a shop near here where I can get the catalogs for the wedding dresses? I need it for Sheridan.
She is my fiance, she told me to get a catalog for the dress. I'm getting married in two weeks." Chris shared his wonderful news with Luis.
"Really, well Congratulations. Your Fiance is very lucky to have you as her future husband." Luis congratulated Chris.
"Thank you"
"Guess what?" asked Chris
"What?"
"You're invited to the wedding." Said Chris. He didn't care if he met Luis few hours ago or anything. They both became really good friends.
"Wow! Thank you for the invitation Chris, but I won't be bale to make it to the wedding. My younger sister is coming home from college and I can't just leaver here all alone here."
"Who said you have to leave her here? You can bring her with you, and I have a younger sister too, I mean she might be a little younger than your sister but they'll be able to get along too. So you're definitely invited."
"I don't know Chris" Luis said
"I'm not joking, lets place a bet for $100. I will certainly call you to Harmony"
Luis chuckled and said, "I'm very happy here."
" Alright then. I will take this $100 back from you when you come to Harmony." Chris said before giving Luis hundred dollars.

Chapter 2:
After a while, Luis and Chris went their separate ways. Chris’s car broke down so he was in the garage getting his car fixed and was talking to Sheridan on the phone. Luis and Hank were driving around just talking and laughing. Chris decided to go to the store across the street. Chris started walking without even looking right or left. He was still talking to Sheridan on the phone. Luis was going in the street where he saw a little girl running after her puppy. Luis, trying to his the girl, Luis quickly turned his car around, but accidentally ran a person down instead. Luis hurriedly got out of his car and saw whom it was. Luis was shocked to when he saw it was.
He couldn’t believe his eyes. He knew it had to be some kind of a mistake. The man who he just accidentally happened to be the man who he had become friends with few hours ago. The man who invited him to his wedding. The man who was to get married in two weeks. The man whose name was Chris. Hank wanted Luis to leave Chris where he was. He didn’t want Luis and himself to go to Police for killing a guy. Luis who was always very honest went to his car and called the police and an ambulance. Police came as soon as they could and took
Chris to the hospital and Luis and Hank to the station to get their statements. When the police heard what Luis had said, for now they let him go and said that if there were a problem they would call him. Police officer saw in Luis’s eye that he was very honest and it was the truth. Luis was not even lying, he told the whole truth and had tears in his eyes because he told his friend. Hey may have met Chris only few hours ago, but he still liked him. The most things that hurt him was that Chris was supposed to get married in a week. Luis didn’t know how Sheridan would react to the news. He was praying that everything would be ok and back to normal. But he knew it wouldn’t be back to normal. Luis went to the hospital as soon as he got out of the station.
A while later Luis was in the hospital sitting and waiting for the doctor to come out and tell him that Chris was O.K. A few minutes later, the doctor came out and said, “I’m sorry sir, but I couldn’t save your friend” Luis couldn’t believe it. “It has to be some kind of a joke. Chris is going to be ok but he knew it wasn’t true. His friend has just died. He killed him! How was he going to tell his family that he killed their son, brother, or fiancé. He contacted Chris’s family and Luckily Sheridan was there so he told her the bad news. Sheridan was shocked. She dropped the phone as soon as Luis told her that her fiancé has died. He felt so bad. He made the arrangements for Chris’s body to be delivered to his hometown, Harmony. A town where Luis and Theresa grew up, a town where his parents had died, a town where he belonged.
Few days later after Chris’s funeral, Luis came back to Boston and worked but he couldn’t work. All he could ever think about how he killed his friend. Even though everyone told him, it was not his fault but would Luis listen to anyone? NO! He just kept blaming himself for ruining Sheridan’s life and Chris’s life.

Chapter 3:
Luis still kept blaming himself for everything. It's been two months since Chris died, Luis couldn't get passed the fact that he was responsible for Chris's death. Luis knew what to do, he called Theresa and asked her when she was coming home and she told him in two days. She was away at Fashion College. She has been dating some guy name Ethan. She said he was very nice and loved her very much. Even though Luis never met him, he had a feeling that Ethan was a nice guy and wouldn't hurt Theresa. Luis did not want anyone to hurt Theresa. She had been hurt a lot when Pilar and Martine died.
Luis would personally deal with a person who hurt Theresa. Luis remembered the time She had asked him if she could go away for the Fashion College. Luis didn't want her to leave him here all alone. When she actually changed her mind about going, Luis also changed his mind. He decided to let her go, let her dreams come true. He also remembered the time when Pilar had told him that always let her dreams come true and look after his little sister who meant the world to him after his parents died. She was everything he had. She was always there for him, she would give him advices even though she is younger than him, and she would always listen to him.
She would never hurt his feelings even if he had yelled at her thousands time. He knew this was her dream, becoming a fashion designer, how could he not let her dreams come true? He is already so proud of her for everything she does. The day he told her that she could go she first said she couldn't leave him here but he convinced her to go and make her dreams come true. She was so happy. Luis had never seen her like that. In the beginning she would call him everyday, just to check on him. Luis thought she was being silly, though he knew she was just worried about leaving him all alone here.
When Luis called her to ask her when she was coming home, he told her to come straight home and that they were going somewhere. He started packing all of the stuff and decided to move back to Harmony. To the house, he had built for his parents. He called up Hank and told him about his plan. Hank was happy that his friend was coming home, a place where he belonged but didn't know why? He decided to drop it for now but he was going to ask Luis later, how did he have a change of heart? Hank knew Luis still blamed himself for Chris's death. Hank thought maybe Luis wanted to get out of the city where Chris died.
A few days later Hank came to pick up Luis and Theresa from the airport. Theresa was so exhausted that as soon as they got in the car, she fell a sleep. Luis and Hank drove silently until Hank broke the silent and said " The flight was long wasn't it?"
"Yeah" Luis answered.
"Did you sleep well?" Hank asked knowing that Luis knew what he meant.
"Yeah" Luis replied sadly looking out the window.
Hank pulled over to a gas station to put gas into his car. Luis got out of the car and leaned on the door. Hank looked at Luis and said "I thought you must've forgotten about it"
"I've tried very hard but…"
Hank cut him off and said "Then what have you come here for?"
Hank walked over to the other side where Luis was and angrily said, "What are your intentions?"
Luis looked at Hank and said, "I've come to apologized to his family!"
Hank couldn't believe it. Has Luis gone mad or something?
"You are too much! Do you think they will forgive you?"
"But I was not at fault" said Luis
"Only we know. No one else knows that it was not your fault. Yeah maybe Chris know, they will not forgive you" said Hank
"I will do whatever they say" Luis said hoping they would understand him.
"Either hand me over to the police, or punish me themselves." Said Luis.
Hank was shocked. What has gotten into Luis? Hank has never seen Luis like that before.
"You've gone crazy. Since five years I've been asking you to come home, You didn't come then. You have come now. You're saying that you will accept any punishment they give you. Do you know how many people are in his family? He has a grandmother, father, sister and his fiance. Whose punishment will you take? Which one will forgive you? Luis it's easy to say, but it's not easy to do" Hank tried to get something in his friends head.
"Nothing is ever easy, not for them and certainly not for me!"
