Sheridan was too happy with her life; it was too perfect. Luis and her had
finally found each other and seemed to be out of harms way and Luis's anger
toward Ethan seemed to have diminished. She new there had to be a bump to
come but for right now she was enjoying Luis's company. She and Luis had not
as of yet made love due to Eve's orders but good things come to those who
wait, and boy had they waited.
Luis had gone to the store to get supplies for tonight's dinner and she
was anxiously awaiting his return. She didn't care what was for dinner as
long as it involved Luis. Luis had been gone awhile and she was getting
impatient.
"Is he ever coming back!?" She stated impatiently. "I'm sorry I was trying
to find the perfect supplies for our perfect dinner." she heard from behind
her. She whirled around rushed over to Luis snatched the bags that were in
his hands on the floor and pulled Luis toward her. She took his mouth I a
passionate kiss he returned the kiss and it was getting heated. Luis pulled
away, "Sher you know if we start I won't be able to pull away."
"Who says
you need to. I talked to Eve while you were gone and she thinks I'm strong
enough for 'strenuous physical activity'." "Oh really? Well then lets get
the dinner on so we can get this show on the road." "I'm not that hungry
Luis, but I am a little tired so lets go to bed." She replied giving him her
best seductive smile. "I was just trying to romance you a little." "Romance
shomance, you've been doing that for the last two weeks between the beautiful
romantic carriage ride and the midnight strolls on the pier you could right
the book on how to romance women so at this point all I care is that we are
in that bedroom making passionate love so lets go!"
She took Luis's hand and
led him to the bedroom; Luis couldn't help but laugh. The whole hands off
thing had been hard and he didn't know how long he could take it and granted
he felt the same way but he had always thought that women like to be
romanced.
Once they were in the room they couldn't keep their lips off each other and
hands were roaming freely. It didn't take long to rid each other of their
cloths and end up under the covers. Once on the bed Sheridan spoke up.
"Luis I don't care if it's God himself who comes to our door we are not
leaving this room until tomorrow morning."
Luis laughed a little and went
back to the business at hand. He was with Sheridan and God himself could not
pull him away, he couldn't wait another second.
Sheridan and Luis had slept till afternoon since they had been up most of the
night confirming their love for each other. One thing was for sure in
Sheridan's mind, no one had ever made love to her before she had never felt
anything like this, her fantasies had not even come close to what happened
last night.
Luis stirred and looked down at her with her head resting on his chest and
her arms around him. God he liked waking up next to her last night was
amazing and this morning he knew that he didn't think he could live if she
wasn't there with him every morning when he woke up and with him every night.
She looked up at him their eyes doing all of the talking. The way the light
threw the curtains glittered off her hair and her eyes took his breath away.
She was his angel. She stirred next to him and the feel of her flesh against
his reminded him of exactly how naked she was under those sheets. He bent
down and kissed her and it quickly turned passionate and they stayed in bed a
while longer.
A few hours later after they had finally decided to get out of bed and face
the world only with the promise that they would return later that evening,
they decided to get ready to go out.
"You can shower first Luis" "that's OK you take longer to get dressed, you
go first" "you do realize there is only one way to settle this." She said as
she looked at him with that seductive look of hers that told him exactly what
she was thinking. "You do realize that at this rate we are never going to
make it out of this cottage." "Oh well" she giggles as she lead him to the
bathroom where they shared the shower.
*Two months later
Luis and Sheridan were out for a night of dancing, he had had the early shift
and he wasn't on call tonight so they decided they were going to make the
most of it. Sheridan didn't get to spend every waking hour with her cop love
but she was getting better at making every second count. Luis was planning
on popping the question. Sheridan and Luis were dancing and Sheridan again
had one of her dizzy spells. She had been having them a lot with in the last
couple of weeks and Sheridan had promised to make an appointment with Eve.
Luis led her over to their table where Luis fussed over her and Sheridan
insisted that she was fine.
"Luis I wanted to talk to her about something."
"I did too, you can go first."
"It's about the dizzy spells I've been having lately, Eve called me with the
results of my tests today..."
"Oh God are you OK, you sound serious"
"I'm fine Luis, I'm pregnant."
"Oh wow."
Sheridan smiled at this, "I guess that isn't a bad reaction."
After a second Luis regained his composer. And he reached in his pocket and
pulled out the ring.
"Will you marry me?"
"Oh wow"
"I guess that isn't a bad reaction, but I was looking for yes"
Sheridan looked from the ring into Luis's eyes.
"Yes," she whispered "yes
will marry you." Sheridan and Luis shared their most passionate kiss yet.
When it ended neither could remember where they were.
Sheridan was the first to speak "Well I've had a busy day, I found out I was
pregnant and I got engaged all in the same day, I'm a little tired I'd like
to go home now." And she gave Luis her classic look and he was more than
ready to head home.
