*Author Note : This is a short fanfiction for Sheridan and Luis. Pretending this shitty, current storyline hadn’t happened. What were the writer’s thinking? That’s right – they weren’t.
Luis lay sweetly on the bed. Sheridan gazed at him warmly and felt
herself tingle inside. With every breath he took, more tingles were
sent
out to flow throughout her blood. It made her feel so warm, so happy,
so in
love. Her hand flowed casually across his skin – so soft and heated.
Watching him lay there made emotions dance within her.
Slowly, his eyes opened. As they adjusted to the lightly lit room,
he
saw the beautiful face in front of him, and his smile formed then.
Sheridan
returned the smile as she lowered her head to place a soft kiss on his
lips.
It was when she pulled back and saw the love in her eyes, she knew that
this
had been the best Christmas present anyone could give her.
This year was the best Christmas Eve she had ever experienced.
Wrapped
in Luis’s warm embrace, watching the smile on his face – it made her
feel
incredible. The love lit air invaded her lungs and the sight of Luis
next
to her filled her heart with hope and love. With every touch Luis gave
her,
with every kiss – she felt her soul reach out further to Luis’. She
knew
they had a connection, but this Christmas Eve – she had felt completely
connected to him.
His finger began to lightly trace her soft lips and they smiled.
She
kissed his finger and whispered, “I love you, y’know that?”
Luis nodded as he replaced his finger with his lips. “I know.” As
he
found her eyes, he said softly, “I love you too.” The smile on her
face
grew as he pulled a gift from beneath the bed, “Merry Christmas.”
“Wha-?” She asked as she held it in her hands. A pretty, little
wrapped
gift. “It’s Christmas Eve…”
“You can wait tomorrow if you want – but you could open it
now…too.”
“I’ll open it now.” She said in a high voice, which made her sound
like
a five-year-old.
“All right.” He paused, “I hope you like it…”
She lightly tugged at the ends of the wrapping paper and it gave in
easily. She found a velvet black box and held it in her palm. Luis
skillfully assisted her with opening the box. Her eyes grew and Luis
grinned. “Like it?”
“It’s gorgeous!” She said happily. She held up a tiny little
locket up
in the air. It was a classic, heart shaped locket with her and Luis’s
initials carved on one side.
“Open it – “ He watched for a reaction.
She nodded as she opened it. On the left side was a picture of
their
Christmas tree, and on the other was a tiny little picture of the two
of
them. “I had the picture reduced at the photo place just for it!” the
excitement was evident in his voice.
“It’s so sweet – I love it!” She gave him a hug and kissed his
neck
quickly. “Thank you so much, Luis!”
“That’s good.”
“It’s the best Christmas gift I’ve ever received.” She said
sincerely
as she held it next to her heart.
“You deserve the best.” He said quietly as he leaned forward to
kiss
her on the forehead.
“Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve you…”
“Shhh…” He grinned, “Like I said, you deserve the best!”
“You are the best.” She stated, “And just so modest, too.”
“Sarcasm is not a virtue.” He chuckled as he stood up.
“No, it’s not.” She confessed as she stood up along with him.
“What are you doing Sheridan?”
“I was following you.” She said with confusion forming on her
face.
“Sit back down – I’ll be right back.” Sheridan sat down and
covered
herself back up into the blankets. Luis left and she studied the room
carefully. Nothing seemed unusual – what was Luis doing?
Sheridan’s eyes widened as she saw Luis standing there – dressed
like
Santa. “Oh my God…” Sheridan loss all her words as she watched Luis
dressed
like Santa make his way over to her. he sat next to her on the bed.
“What on – what are you doing?” Her puzzled expression turned into
a
smile now.
“Sit in my lap.” Luis said in a Santa like voice.
“Okay…” She followed her directions and studied Luis carefully.
“What would you like for Christmas?” He asked as he put his big
brown
bag next to him.
“I have everything I could possibly want – right here.” She
grinned as
she put an arm around Luis’s neck.
“Well – I brought you something else.”
“Luis…” She giggled as she looked at his beard, “You gave me a
gift
already!”
“I’m not Luis – I’m Santa Claus – you may call me Kris.”
“Luis – Kris…I don’t need anything else.”
“Sure you do – and I have it right here in this bag.”
“You’re crazy…” She shook her head as Luis began to fumble around
in
his bag.
“Luis – what are you doing…” That’s when she saw it. First came a
little tail – then a back paw – then…then the most adorable puppy she
had
ever seen. Luis placed the yellow little dawg in her arms.
“Oh, Luis…” Her face was wrinkled in an “Oh too cute” face. “It
–“ She
lifted the puppy up a little and looked beneath it, “He’s so cute!”
“Merry Christmas!” He ho-ho-hoed and stood up. “Like him?”
“he’s so cute…what’s his name?”
“Up to you.” He paused, “I got him because – well for a few
reasons,
actually. One being that when he grows up, he’ll be able to protect
you
when and if I’m not home.”
“Thank you Luis!”
“I was walking down my street…and my neighbor, Mr. Evans had this
sign
up. ‘Puppies’. I went there – saw him, loved him…he’s a pure breed.
He
has a good hip history and his mother and father are very good
looking.” He
smiled as he finished, “But not half as good looking as his new mommy.”
“Thanks.” She nuzzled the pup close to her and laughed, “I don’t
know
what to name him!”
“Well…he needs a name.” Luis pushed.
“Santa?” She shook her head in rejection of the name. Her face
lit
up – she knew what to name the pup. “Let’s name him…Amour.”
“What?”
“My French is getting weak – Amour.”
“My French sucks – that means love, right?”
“yes. So…Amour – he’s our love.”
“What a perfect little name.”
She nodded in agreement and looked down at the puppy that was now
sleeping in her arms. She lay him next to her on the bed and pet his
head
softly. She thought as she glanced out of the window. He’d been sweet
tonight – should she? She had an idea – but could she truly go through
with
it? She’d feel so silly – but…she owed him some form of entertainment!
She
was going to do it. When Luis got back – he’d have to wait…because she
was
going to do something completely into the Christmas Spirit – as Luis
had.
Luis walked in and saw Sheridan watching Amour sleep. He came to
her and
kissed her tenderly on the lips. “Luis…” She whispered against his
pursed
lips, “I have something for you too.”
“Really?”
“well not your gift – you have to wait for the morning for that.
I
have a surprise…”
“oh?” he asked as his eyebrows perked. His forehead wrinkled as
he
studied her.
“Stay here – I’ll be right back.” Luis did as he was
told
as he quietly pet the puppy next to him. “I wonder what she’s doing!?”
Five minutes had passed. As he glanced at the clock – that’s when
he
heard it. Bump-ba-bump-ba-bump-ba da da da…and that’s when he saw it –
her,
rather. She was wearing a very sexy red dress and a Santa hat on her
head
as she entered. He chuckled in amusement as he sat back and watched.
She had a mic in her right hand and she began to sing into it. [it
was
connected to the stereo that suddenly appeared there, okay?]
Santa baby
Just slip a sable under the tree, for me
Been an awful good girl
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight
Her voice was low and sexy as she sang it. He felt himself start to get warm and extremely turned on.
Santa baby
A 54 convertible too, light blue
Been an angel all year
Santa Baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight
The little dance she did with it was enough to drive any man wild. Wow – was this a Christmas he was never going to forget!
Think of all the fun I’ve missed
Think of all the fellows that I haven’t kissed
Next year, could be just as good
If you check off my Christmas list…
She slowly made her way over to him and winked his way.
Santa honey
One little thing I really do need
The deed, to a platinum mine
Santa honey, so hurry down the chimney tonight
Luis was amazed. He knew Sheridan was the sexiest woman he’d ever met – but this – this made her even sexier.
Santa baby
forgot to mention one little thing, a ring
I don’t mean on the phone
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight
He applauded as he watched her shut off the stereo and put down the
mic.
“Very nice Sheridan.”
”Like it?” She asked as she sat on his lap, “Santa?”
“Oh yeah…” She kissed him deeply and lovingly. “Oh, I like this
too…”
“Uh huh…” She continued to kiss him more intensely, “Well – you’re
going to like this more…” She lightly pushed him down on the bed.
“this is what I call a merry Christmas!” They laughed as they
celebrated the festive season – their way.
C’est tout!
