It's been a while since we've done a discussion as both Jamie and I have been really busy with work, kids and just real life. Not to mention that my t.v. got hit by lighting also and I had to get another one(the screen caps were so fuzzy). Hope you enjoy!NightinGail777: Hello Jamie! How was your weekend? JaMarieHickey: Great and yours? NightinGail777: Just fine and dandy.....I have rested all day Saturday and Sunday....even ate breakfast with the kids at Shoney's. JaMarieHickey: Cool! NightinGail777: We are discussing Decoy tonight.....which for all the Codypendants......it's a Cody ep! JaMarieHickey: It's one of my favorite Cody eps. NightinGail777: Mine too. JaMarieHickey: I love the beginning when Cody is reading his book.
NightinGail777: I just love when he is all dressed in black......he is so bad.
JaMarieHickey: He does look like someone you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. NightinGail777: You can't really tell he is that bow-legged when he is standing there. JaMarieHickey: I know. I didn't realize how much he was. NightinGail777: He is such a dreamer. JaMarieHickey: He is. NightinGail777: I just love that grabby kiss he does with the girl also....now that is sexy!!!!
JaMarieHickey: It is a good kiss. NightinGail777: I wouldn't mind being her for a few minutes. NightinGail777: Oh my gosh.....did I type that??? JaMarieHickey: That wouldn't be a bad thing. hehehe He's no Kid though! Just had to add that in there. :) JaMarieHickey: LLOL NightinGail777: I would much rather have a grabby kiss from the master of grabby kisses.....JIMMY!!!! JaMarieHickey: Oh....ok NightinGail777: How about when Kid gets home off a run and tells all.....I'm hungry....sure hope Emma's cooking....
NightinGail777: .......then Buck tells him Emma ain't cooking.
JaMarieHickey: I love the look on his face when he finds out Emma's not cooking. NightinGail777: I do too.....Chef Jimmy is and boy can he cook! JaMarieHickey: I wouldn't know about Chef Jimmy's cooking. NightinGail777: It's the best!!! JaMarieHickey: I'll take your word for it. NightinGail777: I just love how Cody calls himself the best looking, bravest, best rough rider that Teaspoon's got.
JaMarieHickey: I know. I'm surprised the others didn't take more of an issue with that statement. NightinGail777: And of course when he tells Jimmy he'll bring him a pretty little apron.... Jimmy fixed him though...heehee
JaMarieHickey: I know and Teaspoon had no problem with it.
NightinGail777: I know...Teaspoon and Jimmy are a pair...aren't they??? JaMarieHickey: Yes they are. Two of a kind. NightinGail777: I think it's so funny when Cody bumps into the captain and he just kinda shoes him off.
JaMarieHickey: Yeah NightinGail777: And then Kid finds the baby on the porch.....now she was a cutie!!!
NightinGail777: I love how Jimmy says he's already doing the cooking and cleaning....how much more can mothering be? Oh if he only knew! JaMarieHickey: I know. I love that shot from the basket with all their heads looking down.
NightinGail777: So cute. JaMarieHickey: It is cute. NightinGail777: I'm so glad Cody didn't fall for those guys that tried to get his package from him.....he was fast with that rifle.
JaMarieHickey: Yes he is and not easily fooled either. NightinGail777: Nope.....and thank goodness......I think they would have killed him if he had given them the package. JaMarieHickey: I think so too. NightinGail777: What about when they finally get the baby asleep and Ben comes a calling on Teaspoon.
JaMarieHickey: Yeah. The baby story in this one is so cute. NightinGail777: She was so peaceful laying there sleeping. JaMarieHickey: She was. Very cute too. NightinGail777: Now comes the scene with Bart the bear in it......I just love this one.
JaMarieHickey: I love Cody's reaction when he first sees Bart. He had no idea what he was in for.
NightinGail777: I know.....did you notice his hands shaking a few times when the bear was finally out of the trap? JaMarieHickey: Yeah NightinGail777: Good thing that guy gave him the bandana before he died.
JaMarieHickey: I know. Cody would've been in big trouble without that! JaMarieHickey: Wonder why Cody always got to handle the large animals. Tigers, Bears, and spiders. NightinGail777: I guess cos he was the only one that was crazy enough to.....heehee JaMarieHickey: Could be. hehehe NightinGail777: :-) JaMarieHickey: Did you know Bart the bear died of cancer? I heard that on TV the other day. JaMarieHickey: :( NightinGail777: Yep......I think he passed on a little after Chris Pettiet did. JaMarieHickey: It's too bad. NightinGail777: Ok...... Jimmy tries to give the baby spurs to play with........they're shiny and they make noise...heehee
JaMarieHickey: I love Teaspoons response. So is your gun...
NightinGail777: And who can forget Buck's famous words......Teaspoon-she's sprung a leak.
JaMarieHickey: LLOL I love that part! NightinGail777: I do too.......the way he holds her. JaMarieHickey: Yeah. NightinGail777: Bart the bear is loose.........watch out Cody.
JaMarieHickey: hehehe NightinGail777: I think Bart thinks Cody killed his friend......it's so sad when Bart goes over to his body and licks his hand.....as if he is trying to wake him up.
JaMarieHickey: I think so too. I felt so bad for Bart. JaMarieHickey: And how could we forget Cody's prayer...Ashes to Ashes, dust to dust, may this man's spirt....uh....never rust. LOL
NightinGail777: I know......such the poet. NightinGail777: But he does save Cody from that hunter.
JaMarieHickey: Yes he does. Maybe he realized that Cody was helping him. NightinGail777: And I think it scared the pants off of Cody when he saw Bart attack that man.
JaMarieHickey: I think so too! It would scare the pants off me!! NightinGail777: You are not alone.......I probably would ........well let's just say nothing on me would be dry.....heehee JaMarieHickey: LOL NightinGail777: Do you think Bart knew what Cody was saying to him........he was trained so well and they caught his reactions so well.
JaMarieHickey: I think he might have. He seemed to be listening to Cody and reacting perfectly for the situation. NightinGail777: Cody realizes that Bart wants the man's bandana back....after he puts it on his cross.....Bart seems satisfied.
JaMarieHickey: Yeah, he does. NightinGail777: Now we are back to the baby......she is crying and Teaspoon is trying to tell them how to put a diaper on......making em and taking care of em ain't the same thing.
JaMarieHickey: I love that. Of course, Ike knows exactly what to do.
NightinGail777: And it's Ike to the rescue.....she is such a doll. And look who gets the dirty diappy.......the one and only KID!!! heehee
JaMarieHickey: Poor Kid. It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it. NightinGail777: And he is the perfect man for the job. JaMarieHickey: I will refrain from commenting. NightinGail777: Cos you know it's true!!! NightinGail777: heehee JaMarieHickey: Not true!! NightinGail777: Oh yes it is.......after all......who got the dirty diappy??? NightinGail777: :-) JaMarieHickey: Now, what are the chances that those "army" men would catch up to Cody again. I thought it would've taken longer since they had to catch their horses.
NightinGail777: I would have too......but I guess him stopping and having to bury that man and take care of Bart was long enough for them to. NightinGail777: I love how he shoves those boulders down the mountain.
JaMarieHickey: That was a great idea. NightinGail777: And did they really expect to keep up with him going down that steep hill???
JaMarieHickey: I know. What were they thinking?? NightinGail777: It's scary when he came up on that house and the lady came at him........she actually looked crazy........
NightinGail777: .....and talked crazy too. JaMarieHickey: Yeah she did. JaMarieHickey: I know. NightinGail777: It's a good thing he stayed the night.....those claim jumpers might have killed her that night.
JaMarieHickey: Yeah. It's too bad she had to break her pitcher.
NightinGail777: I know, she was rather fond of it......her late husband bought it for her. JaMarieHickey: At least she still has her baby. NightinGail777: That's true NightinGail777: She really had cleaned up and sounded like she had some sense the next morning.
JaMarieHickey: I think having the claim jumpers killed releived a lot of the stress she had. NightinGail777: I think so too. JaMarieHickey: She seemed like a very nice lady. NightinGail777: Yep...she was. How about that horse she let Cody have to ride......now that was a big horse.
JaMarieHickey: That was a huge horse!! NightinGail777: I didn't think Cody was gonna be able to get up on him.......heehee JaMarieHickey: Reminded me a little of some of us trying to get on the horses at ECR JaMarieHickey: hehehe NightinGail777: I know........let's see who was it??? heehee JaMarieHickey: LOL NightinGail777: I hate that those men found that indian woman.......but they got what they deserved.
JaMarieHickey: The sure did. I'm glad they didn't think that Cody was a part of it. NightinGail777: I am too......I think they saw Cody and that guy fighting........they knew Cody didn't do anything to the woman.
JaMarieHickey: That's a good part. NightinGail777: Did you see the look on Cody's face though.......I think he thought he might be a goner for a while.
JaMarieHickey: I think so too. NightinGail777: He was so relieved. JaMarieHickey: Very relieved. NightinGail777: I think the boys were sad to see the baby leave.
JaMarieHickey: I think so too. I think they'd grown attached to her while she was with them. NightinGail777: Cody was so mad when the under-secretary threw his package in the fire.
JaMarieHickey: After what he went through I can see why. NightinGail777: ...and then to find out that the captatain delivered the papers the day before......he knocked him good when he made fun of him and the pony express.
JaMarieHickey: That guy deserved it. NightinGail777: It was really nice when Cody went back and helped Mary Lou.....Cody seems to have grown a little in this ep.
JaMarieHickey: Yeah he did. NightinGail777: I love when Kid tells him he sure did miss some excitement and Cody says he'll have to stick to the books.........if only they knew.
JaMarieHickey: I'm surprised that he didn't tell them all about his trip. NightinGail777: I know......we all know how Cody likes to brag. JaMarieHickey: He does like to tell all about his experiences. NightinGail777: Well that's the end of another ep.....what is the next one? JaMarieHickey: Umm...not sure....Daddy's Girl? NightinGail777: Yep......that's the one......a Buck ep.....we don't have enough of them. JaMarieHickey: Not many at all. JaMarieHickey: It's about time for another one. NightinGail777: Yep..........I couldn't believe that Josh was really married to "Kathleen" in real life. JaMarieHickey: I know. That must've been a little weird, but that's for the next discussion.
