Dreamin'

He felt her hand travel up his chest and start to caress him. He moaned and looked down into her upturned face. Her eyes were smokey with desire and her lips were inviting him to plunder them.

He reached down and pulled her body up on his. His hands entwined in her chestnut hair and brought her head close so that he could taste her sweetness.

Never had he wanted anyone as badly as he wanted her at that moment. Without words, he turned her onto the bed and pinned her down with his body.

All his hopes and dreams lay within his reach with her here in his bed, loving him.

As Jimmy let out another moan, the three riders sitting at the table turned from their card game to gaze at him.

"Do ya think we should wake him?" Cody questioned the other two. "He sounds like he's in pain or somethin'."

Noah laid down his cards and murmured, "Or somethin' is more like it."

Lou watched Jimmy for a moment until he turned onto his side and she could see a satisfied smile on his face.

"Sure must be some dream. Wonder who's in it?" she mentioned as she shuffled the cards and dealt them.

A few minutes later the three got into an argument about whose hand was better and woke Jimmy.

He sat up shaking the sleep from his head and asked what was going on.

"That's what we'd like to know," Noah told him.

"What'cha talkin' 'bout?" Jimmy asked, confused.

"You was moanin' like ya ate somethin' bad," Cody offered.

"But ya sure were smiling,'" Lou teased.

'Please Lord, don't let me have been talkin' in my sleep again. I'll die if Lou knows I was dreamin' bout her again.'

A red stain creeped into his face at the thought of the others knowin' what he'd been dreamin' about.

He couldn't meet the three riders' eyes as he put his boots on and went to the door muttering something about seeing to some chores he hadn't done in the barn.

"Yep, sure must have been some dream," Noah told them, as he laid down a full house, winning the game.
