DCJen, as in the Washington, D.C., not Dawson's Creek. :)
2. How old will you be on your next birthday-include the date if you want?
As of Nov. 10, I'll be 24. Kinda middle of the road as far as TYR fan ages go.
3. Tell us a little about your childhood.
ROFLMAO..."summers in Rangoon"...
I'm an only child (unless you count the family dog, Kip), born in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. Grew up playing in the mountains and that's where my love lies. My parents are still happily married and living in the Valley while I toil away in the "big city."
4. Are you married, have children?
I'm not married nor do I have any children. I've got a boyfriend of 3 1/2 years who may one day help me fill that quota, but until then, we're just chillin'.
5. What do you wanna be when you grow up?
Oh, I supose I'll be a writer of some kind in some capacity.
6. What really annoys you the most?
Chain mail forwards, my boss, people without heads, opossums, small rocks, and ducks that can't float.
No seriously, ducks that can't float really piss me off. LLOL
7. Who are your fave characters and why?
Kid and Lou, of course. Great angst, great romance, sexy, strong, reliant and self-reliant. They're a wonderfully dramatic couple.
8. When did you find the TYR sites on the web and start visiting them regularly?
It'll be two years in March. (TYRaholics Annonymous)
9. Who was the first person that you had contact with from TYR land?
Starbright. I read her fic and was overcome with awe. :) The first non-cyber contact was with AmyDC over Kung Pow Chicken in China Town. The Mu-Shu flew!
10. Do you have a site or share a site with someone?
Nope. I'm a leech.
11. If you could be one character from the show(guest stars included)who would it be?
Lou, without a doubt. To get to be *that* strong and that vulnerable at the same time...and have half a dozen hotties surrounding you, two of which are in love with you? Perfection!
12. Which ep is your fave and least fave and why?
Favorite ep would be "The Sacrifice." It was packed with such emotion and nobility. The proposal was so sincere and sweet. And Jimmy laughs really dumb in the end. :P
I don't really have a least favorite. I have "episodes I don't like as much as the ones I love."
13. If you could meet one person-dead or alive-who would that be and why?
Bart the Bear. :) He seemed so genuine. A real character actor, like in the old days. That's why I went into theatre in college, you know. His inspiration knew no bounds. Oh , we would have been such good chums...
14. If you had five minutes on national TV to discuss any subject-what would it be and why?
I would first say that this award would not be possible without my ECR 2001 co-entertainment planner, Siddalee. :)
Then I'd probably talk about the importance of the arts in education and why it should be valued as the passionate history lesson it is. Our pasts can be tapped through art both old and new, be it on a canvas, on a stage, or in a song. To let that pass from the educational system would be a great loss.
Drop DC Jen a note!
