NightinGail777: Hi Jamie....have I told you how great it is to have you back? Wow-can you believe that we are doing two eps in one week? JaMarieHickey: I know. We've got a lot of catching up to do! I'm glad someone missed me...hehehe NightinGail777: I'm sure everyone did! Let's see-we are discussing Black Ulysses this time. JaMarieHickey: We sure are. I really like this ep. I think it helped give Kid a new perspective on the world. Expanded his veiw if you will. NightinGail777: I think it did too. I mean after all he was from Virginia and most Virginians back in those days had slaves. It was strange for him I guess. JaMarieHickey: I thought there were some very funny moments with Jimmy and Cody in this ep. I especially liked how Cody woke Jimmy up. NightinGail777: I know-and what about Teaspoon getting on them......to funny!!!! JaMarieHickey: I know! And when they were sleeping instead of working....LOL NightinGail777: LLOL NightinGail777: I was really scared that Katy would burn in that barn when it caught on fire. JaMarieHickey: I know! They were lucky Ulysses knew how to save her. NightinGail777: Yes indeed. I thought it was very smart to get wet before going in the barn......and I just loved seeing everyone dunk their heads in the horse trough. JaMarieHickey: I know. I realized when I was rewatching the ep today, Sam is a bad ass! The way he stood up to that colonel(?). NightinGail777: That's our Sam-no wonder he was a marshal..can you imagine if he was a bad guy? JaMarieHickey: No. I just can't see him as a bad guy. JaMarieHickey: I was surprised to see them whipping the man who had let Ulysses stay in their barn. They were bad men. NightinGail777: I for one am glad he wasn't. Now those Militia men were some bad men. NightinGail777: And did you hear the way the one in charge talked to his wife? JaMarieHickey: I know! So disrespectful. NightinGail777: I was worried they might do something to Buck for being a half-breed. JaMarieHickey: I didn't even think of that!! JaMarieHickey: I felt sorry for Ulysses after the boys found out he had murdered his master. Jimmy was pretty mean to him. NightinGail777: Yes-but he was protecting Emma when she yelled out. JaMarieHickey: That's true. I'm glad the boys took the time to listen to Ulysses's story. NightinGail777: Yes-and it was a sad story. JaMarieHickey: Very! I thought the way Teaspoon stalled the Malitia was pretty good. He's very funny!! NightinGail777: I just loved the way he baited them to open up the corn siloh or whatever you call that thingy.......that was just so funny. JaMarieHickey: I know! I really didn't think the towns people were going to help them at all in protecting Ulysses. NightinGail777: I didn't either....but they come through in the end. JaMarieHickey: They had to protect their own I guess. NightinGail777: I'm just glad they did....I just love the way that old guy tells the militia to get out of town. JaMarieHickey: That crazy colonel isn't worth it. LOL JaMarieHickey: Maybe it changed their mind when the knocked Sam out. NightinGail777: He was crazy! I'm so glad they got him. JaMarieHickey: Kid got him. JaMarieHickey: Kid is the man! :) NightinGail777: I will admit-Kid did good but Jimmy is the Man!!! JaMarieHickey: Umm....No. Kid is the MAN!! hehehe NightinGail777: Well-I don't have to agree with that but I will say that I'm glad Ulysses was unharmed and able to go north to help other slaves to start a new life. JaMarieHickey: I will agree with you there. Ulysses deserved to start a new life. NightinGail777: Yes, and I'm glad that Kid learned a lesson from it. JaMarieHickey: I think everyone learned a good lesson from Ulysses. NightinGail777: Yes they did. JaMarieHickey: I also thought Emma gave a very good speech on Ulysses behalf. Too bad not everyone was moved. NightinGail777: Yep-Emma stood up for what she believed in. JaMarieHickey: I thought the part when Ulysses was telling the boys about how he knew how to fight the fire was pretty interesting. And how he was happier being there than in New Orleans. NightinGail777: I know-and what about when he was telling them about the women in corsets......heehee JaMarieHickey: I know! LOL NightinGail777: I still think the funniest part was when Jimmy and Cody were "working" JaMarieHickey: I agree. Though Cody waking Jimmy up by holding his nose is a close second. NightinGail777: Yep-I would have never held his nose though...ok let me shut up here or it will be cold shower time....heehee JaMarieHickey: Gee...I wonder what you would do? Is it the same way I would gladly wake up Kid? hehehe NightinGail777: Probably:-) JaMarieHickey: Of course I'm a good girl and would never dream of doing any thing like that. hehehehe NightinGail777: Yeah right! JaMarieHickey: Darn! I knew I couldn't fool you! :) NightinGail777: Never! Well this puts another ep under our belts.....whew all these eps....we get to watch our boys in action and then discuss them.....we need to do this every night:-) JaMarieHickey: Definately! :) What's next? NightinGail777: Ten Cent Hero-a Jimmy ep.....WOOHOO! JaMarieHickey: A Jimmy ep. Why can't they all be Kid? hehe NightinGail777: Cos the writers knew who was more exciting and who everyone wanted to see!!! JaMarieHickey: Oh WHATEVER!! Kid is the best!! :) NightinGail777: Why did I know that WHATEVER was coming??? JaMarieHickey: Cos you know me so well! NightinGail777: :-) Well that's about it for now folks!
