Cousin Alice Kidnaps Bo Duke

It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Hazzard County. Bo, Candy and the kids were getting ready for the annual picnic.

“Hey Candy, did you make that potato salad that Luke and Enos like so much?”

“Yes Bo, honey I sure did. I’ve also got fried chicken, biscuits, ham sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies.”

“Your great darling, I think I’ll marry you.”

“You already did but we can have a second honeymoon when we get back tonight.”

Bo kissed Candy on the lips.

“Come on Honeybee and Tammy, it’s time to go.” Candy told the girls.

“We’re just saying good bye to Fluffy and Buffy.” Honeybee looked down at the kittens. “It’s up to you two to protect the house while we’re gone.”

Tammy added. “If you see any meanies, go for the throat like Deputy Toodles taught you.”  The family leaves.

“Hey Luke, haven’t seen you for a few days, how you doing?” Bo said when he seen his cousin.

“I know,” Luke looked over at Karen and smiled.

Bo smiles knowing how much Luke and Karen are in love. “Let’s go get something to drink.”

“Ok, cousin.” Luke replied.

After everyone ate, Honeybee wanted to do something. “Daddy, can we go for a swim?”

“Sure, we can.” Bo took his shirt off since he already had shorts on.

“Now don’t you wear yourself out, I got plans for you later.” Candy commented.

“Why do you think I passed on those cookies?” Bo kissed her and everyone laughed.

The others cleaned up while Bo and the girls went swimming. Honeybee and Tammy had made it back to the table where everyone was sitting, when Bo was approached by a woman.

“Hey Bo, you wanna wrassle?” She smiled at him.

“Hi Cousin Alice, it’s nice to see you.”

“I’ve got some pecan cookies that I made just for you. After we eat them, I thought we could go somewhere and talk.”

“I’m married and I love my wife very much, so I’ll have to decline the offer.”

“Please don’t say that we can’t have a happy life together! I can make you happy,” She winked at him.

Bo shrugged and continued to walk toward the table. He didn’t get too far because Alice whacked him over the head.

“I hated to do that because you’re so cute.” Alice whispered to Bo who lay on the ground out cold.

Honeybee and Tammy saw what happened. “Momma, some meanie just hit daddy over the head and stole him.”

“I know all of the girls in Hazzard would love too but who could be that strong?” Candy wondered.

Luke snapped his fingers. “Cousin Alice, when she heard Bo got married, they had to lock her away.”

“How did we get him back?” Candy asked.

We’ll have to play along or else we might not ever see him again,” Luke said.

Four hours later, Bo wakes up. “Where am I?”

Cousin Alice looks at him lovingly. “We’re in Chickasaw.” She pointed to the gentleman on front of them.

“We wanna get married.”

“Bo Duke, do you take this woman to be your wife?” The preacher asked.

“Do I have too?” Bo asked.

“He does,” Alice insisted.

Alice, do you take this man for your husband?” The preacher said.

“Yes, I do. Can we start the honeymoon now?” Alice asked.

“You may kiss the bride,” The preacher said.

Alice grabbed Bo and knocked him to the ground.

“You get off my husband, the only one he honeymoons with is me.” Candy shouted.

“Come with me, Alice.” Rosco told the young woman.

Bo runs over to Candy and puts his arms around her. “Darling, let’s go home. I never want to see another pecan cookie again.”

Later that night as Bo cuddles Candy in his arms…

“Now this is what I call honeymooning!”

“You know you being a newly married man and all, we really shouldn’t be doing this.”

“Just shut up and kiss me.”

Boy, those two make quite a pair don’t they?
