Once Upon a Lifetime – By Kazza Part 34
Once the meal was over, everyone headed back to the lounge area, while tables were moved and the band set up. Staring at her from across the room, he felt so sad. She looked so amazing in her midnight blue dress; he just couldn’t take his eyes off her. Her face was lit up with a huge smile, her eyes sparkling, her hair amazing. No matter what he did, his mind always wandered back to Isabelle. To everyone else she looked so happy to have Cameron Masters attached to her arm, but Alex knew different. He could tell, something in Isabelle’s body language, it screamed that she was unhappy and just putting a front on for everyone. “If everyone would like to come back into the ballroom, the band is now ready.” The duty manager informed. “Ready for our first dance?” Max asked Liz. “Not first dance, just first dance in public.” Liz corrected him, thinking back to their moonlit dance in Alex’s garden that had sparked the passion running through their bodies. “That’s what I meant, I could never forget our first real dance.” Max replied. Watching her start to head into the ballroom, Alex decided to seize his chance. He wasn’t certain it was a good idea, but he’d never forgive himself if he didn’t at least try and make Isabelle see he could make her happy. In his heart he truly believed he was everything Isabelle was seeking, he just had to make her see it. Making his way through the crowd, he caught up with Isabelle just as they entered the ballroom. “Alex?” She queried, as she felt his hand grasp her arm. “Dance with me?” He asked. “Sorry?” “I
said dance with me Isabelle ……… please.” “Please, it’s just a dance.” He rationalised. “Erm ………… well, I guess it would ……… be ok.” She replied, completely stunned by his forwardness. Had she of been thinking clearly, Isabelle would probably have decided it was not a particularly good idea, but she wasn’t thinking clearly. “And now, let’s liven up this party with the first dance of the evening.” The lead singer of the band informed. “So, if the staff members of Evans Associates would like to take to the floor.” She added. Taking Liz by the hand, Max walked them into the middle of the dance floor. Placing one hand around the small of her back, he grasped the other hand in his and pulled it against his chest. Liz’s other hand stretched up and lazily fell around his neck. Next on the dance floor came Isabelle and Alex, a few raised eyebrows were thrown their way, but neither noticed. Diane and Philip also joined their children, Diane secretly pleased her daughter had accepted Alex’s request to the dance. “I guess that just leaves us then.” Michael said, holding his hand out for Maria to accept. “Are
you asking me to dance Michael?” She
asked playfully. “Ok, now this song was requested by Max, and it’s to be dedicated to the special woman in his life. I hope you all enjoy it.” The lead singer said, just before the band started up. “I would die for you, lay down my life for you. The only thing that means everything to me …………” She sang as the groups danced around the dance floor. “Cause when you’re in my arms, you make me prouder than anything I ever could achieve. And you make everything that used to seen so big, seem to be so small since you arrived.” The song filled the room. “On Angel Wings, an angelical formation. Angel Wings, like letters in the sky.” Max sang to the beauty encased in his arms. “Now I know no matter what the question, love is the answer. It’s written on Angel’s Wings.” As she stared up into his deep brown eyes, Liz couldn’t stop the tears that formed in her own eyes. At that very moment, she found herself falling even more in love with Max, more than she ever thought possible. He was everything she wanted in a man and so much more. At that moment, she knew he would always be there to protect her ……. look after her ……. die for her. “And I often wonder why, someone as flawed as I. Deserves to be as happy as you make me. So as the years roll by, I’ll be there by your side. I’ll follow you wherever your heart takes me. ‘Cause you make everything that used to be so big, seem to be so small since you arrived.” Liz sang out, putting every ounce of her soul into the words. She knew that no matter where the bumpy road of love took her, as long as Max was right by her side, she would be eternally happy. “Now anyone who’s felt the touch of heaven in their lives. Will know the way I’m feeling looking in my baby’s eyes. That’s why I can’t bear to be too far away. I know that god must love me ‘cause he sent you to me on Angel’s Wings.” Max whispered, watching a few tears tumble down Liz’s perfect cheeks. Moving his hand from its place in hers, Max cupped the back of her head and pulled her into his chest. His tuxedo jacket absorbed her quiet sobs, his arms trying to contain the shakes in her body. He could understand exactly why she had broken down, it was indeed a perfect moment. Had he not been so used to hiding his feelings, he may well have shed a few tears at that moment. He thanked god for the umpteenth time for sending such an amazing angel down for him, to love him and allow him to love back wholeheartedly. Lifting her head and flashing a watery smile his way, Liz pulled closer and allowed her lips to gently caress Max’s. The river of love that flowed between them joined as one and engulfed them as they melted into the kiss. The feel of his soft lips sent Liz to places she’d never been before, as she floated around the dance floor, totally ignorant of people staring back at her. His professional stance disappeared instantaneously the moment he deepened the kiss. He cared about nothing more except for the beauty in his arms. At the same time as Max and Liz’s dance As she felt his arms wrap tentatively around her waist, Maria thought she was going to melt in the middle of the dance floor. His touch was so light, she could barely feel it above the pounding of her heartbeat. Placing her arms lightly around his waist, Maria lifted her head level with Michael’s, so she could see into his eyes. There was a flicker of nervousness in them, something she wasn’t used to seeing in such a confident person, and it comforted her that he was struggling too. As the music flowed around them, they gently swayed; all the while Maria fought the waves of giddiness that rushed over her body. Here she was, in the middle of the dance floor, being stared at by all their clients, wrapped in the arms of Michael Guerin. If that wasn’t worth fainting over, she wasn’t sure what was! Taking a couple of deep breaths, Michael tried to calm his palpitating heart that threatened to deafen him. The deep breaths only served to fill his senses with the wonderful smell of vanilla, a smell he always associated with Maria. Her eyes twinkled in the dark light of the room, staring up at him full of wonder and awe. At that moment, he reminded himself to say a big thank you to his best friend. He knew without a doubt, without Max’s intervention there was no way he would be sharing the best dance of his life with the best girl in the room. A cautious stance had been taken up by Isabelle and Alex as they danced to the music. Alex had wanted to sweep Isabelle into his arms, but he knew he couldn’t do anything to scare her; he had to take things slow. Her head was dipped slightly, seemingly staring at Alex’s ear rather than his face. This puzzled Alex, he wanted nothing more than to allow himself to be swallowed up by the velvety pools of brown Isabelle had as eyes. She tried to relax her body as she felt Alex’s hand slip around her waist. Small rasping breaths were inhaled as she tried to keep control. It wasn’t that she wasn’t enjoying the dance, she was, and it was that she was worried about. She’d managed to convince herself all she felt for Alex was friendship, but being in his arms just seemed so right to her. “Look at me, please.” He whispered. His soft breathes tickling her ear as shockwaves were sent down her spine. Slowly lifting her head, she allowed her eyes to lock on his, and finally let him see the secret she was holding inside. The look she gave him nearly took his breath away, and Alex found his step faltering for a moment. Regaining his composure he looked back at her again, only to see the same look once more. Her eyes radiated love, pure and simple, love directed at him. It was the look he hadn’t seen in a while, since the night of the shooting when he’d kissed her for the first time. He’d taken her breath away that night, and now it was her turn to do the same to him. He hadn’t been prepared for her to bare so openly her feelings, he had expected to have to delve deep to find them, but to Alex it seemed Isabelle’s hard shell was cracking in two, shattering forever. Returning the vibes of love to her through his own eyes, Alex paused for a moment to decide if what he wanted to do was a good idea. He didn’t want to scare or frighten her, yet he wanted to make sure she knew he cared very deeply for her. “What the heck!” He thought to himself, before bending his head closer to hers. “Oh my gosh, he’s going to kiss me!” A voice squealed inside her head. She felt like a silly schoolgirl, preparing for her first ever kiss. Never before had someone had such a profound affect on her body. Covering the short distance between them, giving Isabelle time to pull away, Alex finally found his destination and gently touched her lips with his. A gentle romantic kiss that promised so much more. Pulling away slightly, he watched for her reaction. Her hands, that were laced around his neck, did the talking, pulling his head closer again, and allowing their lips to fuse together in a mind blowing, full passion kiss. Both totally oblivious to anyone and everyone, focusing completely on the wonderful feelings the kiss was eliciting. Lifting her head from it’s resting point on her husband’s shoulder, Diane Evans surveyed the dance floor. She saw her son holding on tightly to his true love, the girl who had brought him so much happiness in such a short space of time. She saw her ‘adopted’ son with his arms wrapped around a special girl, someone who Diane knew would bring him the happiness and love he craved so much. She saw her only daughter also encased in a young man’s arms. She realised at that moment, that her daughter had also found love that night. It was love that had been there for some time she suspected, but it was this night that Isabelle had finally opened up and allowed Alex to chase away all her worries. Right then, Diane realised her job as mother to Max and Isabelle was done. They no longer needed her guidance as they walked the rocky road of life, instead they had new partners to walk the road with. She knew they’d always need her from time to time, but they’d found new love. A solitary tear escaped down her face, a slight feeling of sadness engulfed her body, part of her wishing she could scoop them up in her arms like when they were children, the other part of her overjoyed they’d found love. Feeling his wife’s sadness, Philip tightened his grip on Diane, attempting to help her overcome what she was going through. “They’ll always need you honey, maybe more so now than ever before. The road of love is never smooth, you know that, problems always arise. And who will they turn to when they need comfort or support? Their mother that’s who. The one person in the world who knows them inside out, who will have the wise words to part with, and will hug them when that’s all they need.” “I know you’re right, it’s just hard letting go sometimes.” She whispered. “Then don’t let go. Always be a part of their life Diane, always be there to help them when they fall, comfort them and hug them despite the circumstances. Just be their mum.” He replied kissing her forehead to sooth her fears. As the last sounds of the song drifted away, the three sets of couples were brought back down to earth. Relinquishing their grips on their respective partners, Max, Michael and Isabelle set about doing some corporate mingling. Excusing themselves to freshen up, Liz and Maria headed to the ladies room. As they entered the room, they found they had a follower. Joining them in front of the large mirror was Diane Evans. “Oh hi.” Liz said surprised to see her. “Oh
don’t mind me girls, I just wanted to say you two looked amazing out there
dancing with my boys.” She said.
“I’m so happy for you both.” “Me too, all I need now to finish this night off perfectly is a kiss!” Maria informed. “Want me to set that up too?” Liz offered. “Nah, I think I can manage that one myself, but hey, thanks for the offer.” Maria replied. “Well you two go and enjoy yourselves, you’ve both worked hard to make this night special and you’ve done a marvellous job.” “Thanks Diane, I really appreciate it.” Liz replied. “Nonsense, you deserve every bit of praise that comes your way today.” Diane replied as the three of them headed back out to the party and began to enjoy the rest of the night.
Part 35
“Max, I thank you for such a wonderfully enjoyable evening. I haven’t had this much fun in ages.” Mr Watson said, shaking Max’s hand enthusiastically. “Thanks Austin.” Max said, grateful when his client eventually relinquished his tight grip on Max’s hand. “So,
I’ll get my secretary to contact you on Monday to organise another meeting.” “Whatever you say mate!” Austin Watson replied before reluctantly leaving the room. Flexing his fingers, Max briefly rubbed them over his eyes. Although Austin Watson was a large client, sometimes Max wished he didn’t have to handle him alone. Austin disliked women in powerful jobs, and had refused to work with either Diane or Isabelle, leaving Max to cope alone once Philip had stood down. Austin was so very over the top, a typical oily businessman who seemed to signify everything Max hated. Still, he reminded himself, Austin Watson was always trying new schemes to avoid paying tax, which meant he often needed Max’s services, which in turn meant big bucks for Evans Associates. Watching him from her vantage point to the left of the room, Liz could see how tired Max was looking. The night had been harder on Max than most of the others. Everyone seemed to look to Max to be the entertainer, everyone wanting to chat to him, requiring a part of her boyfriend. Covering the few meters between them, Liz slipped her hand in Max’s as he turned to look at her. “Having fun babe?” He asked, smiling at her. “Yeah, I’m having great fun actually. It’s been an even better success than I hoped.” She replied. “It
sure has, you’ve outdone yourself Liz.” “I know, but it was fun. You’re looking tired now though.” She replied “Mmm, I guess it’s been a long day. Then again, it is quarter past one in the morning, not surprising I’ve lost some of my sparkle.” He joked. “Well then, I’ll have to set about sending out a search party for that lost sparkle.” She replied seductively. “Mmm, I’m intrigued, tell me more.” He replied huskily, swinging her round so she stood in front of him. Reaching up, she moved her lips to within touching distance of his; teasing him for a few moments as her breath tickled his skin. When she could take no more, Liz moved in and took his lips hostage in a fervent embrace. Her hot lips tantalised his senses as he allowed her a free reign on the kiss. Her tongue caressed his soft lips, sending searing pangs of hot fire straight to his groin. Wrapping his free arms around her middle, Max rubbed his hands up and down the bare skin of her back. In truth he wanted to do nothing more than caress her cute bottom, but his mind concluded such an act was probably too forward for an office engagement. Kissing her so passionately in front of clients was bad enough, but openly groping her would definitely cross the line of professionalism. From afar, a set of eyes shone back at her brother in awe and amazement. Isabelle couldn’t believe how her brother was reacting, how recklessly open he was baring his feelings for Liz. She’d struggled all through out the meal with the thought that Liz and Max were dating. It wasn’t that she minded Liz; in truth she kinda liked the sweet girl. Liz was so normal, so naturally beautiful and at ease with herself. She’d never admit it, but for Isabelle, Liz was everything she really wanted to be, beautifully natural. For Isabelle she was more struggling with the hypothesis that she’d actually completely missed Max’s feelings for Liz. She’d mentally kicked herself many times that night that she’d ignored all the signs that were so obviously in front of her. How could she have missed the amount of love that so blatantly flowed between her brother and his secretary? “You ok Is?” A voice behind her asked. “Huh? Oh, yeah I’m ok.” She replied, taking a drink that he handed her. Smiling back at him, Isabelle couldn’t help but be glad she’d accepted Alex’s offer of the first dance. He’d opened her eyes, made her confront her true feelings for their junior lawyer. Snuggled in his arms as the sweet music circulated them, she could deny no longer how he made her feel. How her heart raced as he’d pulled her close, how his hot breath on her face had made her head feel dizzy, how his soft hands on her delicate skin had set her whole body on fire. No one had ever had such a profound affect on her, and she hoped she’d found the true love she craved. Slipping his arm loosely around her waist, Alex couldn’t stop the huge grin that spread over his face. No matter what he did, he couldn’t stop the wave of happiness that had coated every fibre of his body ever since their dance. He felt like he was in a perfect dream world, almost afraid to breath in case he broke the delicate bubble that surrounded him. No matter what happened the following day, Alex knew he’d remember that night for a very long time to come. As they sat on a nearby table, Maria revelled in the feeling of Michael’s hand on her skin. He was sitting close by, his hand resting on hers, gently caressing her soft skin, blissfully unaware of how such a simple gesture was having such a profound affect on her body. She’d waited so long for his touch, just the simple brushing of skin stirred up strong feelings. Placing her hand upon his arm, Maria found herself wondering what it would be like to be kissed properly by Michael. So much had happened that night; she’d expected to meet someone new, a bind date, and in some ways she did. He was a different person that night, showing her a totally different side to him. He'd kissed her on the steps to the hotel earlier, but that was merely to shut her up, not a full on passion kiss
Then the dance, wow that was a dance. She’d felt so wonderful wrapped in his arms, swaying to the
music. She wished she could rewind
and go back to that point in the evening, replay it over and over again.
But she knew if she did that she would never get to the point that she
was hoping would happen before the night was out.
She was dreaming of the moment they said goodbye, and the kiss she wished
would be coming her way. She
couldn’t help but imagine what a wonderful kisser he was.
She had a feeling he would be very good indeed, his hot lips pressing
against her soft ones, his hand caressing her blond hair, her body going weak at
the knees ................. “What
you think of?” A voice asked,
breaking her out of her self-induced dream. “What?
Oh, erm ........... nothing.” She
stumbled, blushing at where her thoughts had been going. “Well
it was obviously something, you’ve got a goofy grin over your face.
Something about me?” He
probed. “Well,
erm, ................. ok, yeah, I was just thinking, about you.” “I
.................... I don’t think .......... I want to answer that.”
She replied, going even redder. At
that moment she really didn’t want to tell him she’d imagined him sweeping
her off her feet and kissing her so passionately she felt giddy. His
mind was racing as she said the words, what on earth could she have been
dreaming about? And it was about
him? Her eyes glistened as he
stared back at her, and he decided to do something he had previously decided to
wait until the end of the night to do. Leaning
forward, Michael placed his hand under her chin and tilted her head upwards.
Their eyes locked together in an unwavering stare, neither wanting to
move away. Brushing his thumb over
her lips he caressed them gently as he built up the courage to further his
actions. His touch nearly made her
fall of her chair, it was so gentle, almost butterfly like, yet she could feel
her body heating up. Moving
his hand across, he cupped her cheek with one hand, and moved the other to slide
around her back of her head. Dipping
his head forward, he covered the distance between them and softly brushed his
lips against hers. The slightest
touch nearly sent her into orbit, her pulse racing so hard she couldn’t
distinguish each beat, her head already filled with cloudy thoughts.
Closing her eyes, she melted into his kiss as she invited him to deepen
it. When
they finally broke away, gasping for air, both looked flushed. The kiss had been even more magical, even more wonderful than
her wildest dreams. Her head felt
very light, like she’d drank too much champagne, and she could help but smile
a dreamy smile his way. Once
the last of their guests had finally departed, all eight friends congregated in
the room to say goodnight. “Well
I don’t know about you lot, but that was a great success.
Except I am totally shattered now and can’t wait to go to sleep.”
Max informed. “Then
I think we should all retire, and meet up again at breakfast.” Diane suggested. “Sounds
great. Good night then.” Max said, kissing his mother and hugging his sister. “’night
Liz,” Isabelle said, “Oh, and I
think Max has got good taste in women.” She
added quietly as she hugged her friend. “Thanks
Isabelle, that means a lot to me.” She
replied, realising that was Isabelle’s way of saying she was very happy for
them. “’Night
goofy.” Liz said to Alex. “Yeah,
you can’t stop smiling can you?” “I
think I can second that Liz, I don’t think I’ve ever been happier.”
Maria added, joining their hug. “Hey,
all I did was get everyone in the room, you lot all did the rest.” “Yes,
but I think it was seeing you and Max together that woke the rest of us up.”
Isabelle replied, as they headed up the stairs to their rooms.
Although
she’d thought it would be a good idea to have a separate, but adjoining room
to Max’s, Max had insisted they didn’t hide anything. Eyes were raised as the others watched Max take Liz’s hand
and lead her to the door of his room. He
could feel the eyes boring holes in his back as he fumbled with the key, dipping
her head slightly Liz also could feel the intense stares of her friends. “’Night!”
Max added before disappearing through the door and allowing it to shut
with a satisfying thud. Four
sets of open mouths stared back at the empty space that was once occupied by Max
and Liz. None of them had thought
about how advanced their friends’ relationship was, but with his actions, Max
had just laid it on the line for all to see. “Well,
I erm, guess they’re gonna be late for breakfast!”
Maria joked, breaking the silence. “Something
like that!” Michael grinned back. “Hey,
that’s my brother you’re talking about!”
Isabelle snorted, in shock not for the first time that night. Heading
along to their respective rooms, Isabelle and Alex stopped outside her door. “Do you want to come in for a few minutes? I could order some drinks through room service?” Isabelle suggested, as they loitered outside the door to her room. “Ah …….. thanks, but no. I don’t think that would be a good idea.” Alex replied. “No? Why not?” She challenged. “Because ………… I have admired you for such a long time Isabelle. And no matter how I would love to join you alone in your bedroom, I really don’t think it would be an appropriate way to end this evening.” “Oh?” She queried, unsure what he meant. “Oh!” She then exclaimed finally catching what Alex was insinuating. “Don’t
get me wrong Isabelle, I would love nothing more than to join you, but I don’t
think my will power is strong enough to stay away from you at the moment.”
He admitted. “Alex!” She exclaimed swotting his arm gently. “I understand. I think taking things slowly would be a good idea.” She replied, placing her arms around his neck. She understood why he didn’t want to come in, and she accepted that, but she didn’t feel ready to let him go just yet. Pulling him close, she kissed Alex passionately, not caring about anyone else who might be in the corridor and see them. “Good night Isabelle.” He mumbled against her lips. “’nigh
Alex.” She breathed back.
“Thank you for a wonderful evening.” After watching her slip quietly into her room, Alex headed off to his a few doors away. Locking her door on the inside, Isabelle headed to her bed and fell backwards onto it. Staring up a the ceiling, Isabelle couldn’t believe how the night’s events had unfolded. She’d started by arriving with one of the most eligible bachelors on her arm, but finished it with the man she cared most deeply about. She’d thought she’d pushed her true feelings for Alex to the back of her mind, but that dance had resurrected them and had made her confront her fears. A smile crept over her face as she thought about how relaxed she felt having Alex’s arms around her and how wonderful it was when he kissed her. Her head was awash of the amazing images, she felt like she was floating on the bed, a grin permanently glued to her face; she felt so happy. “God! I’m like a love sick school girl!” She called out, before the smile returned to her face. Holding on to his hand, Maria swiped the card through to open the door to her room. “I don’t think this is a good idea Maria.” Michael said. “I know, but I don’t think I’m ready to let tonight end yet. I don’t want to let you go now I’ve got you.” She confessed, stepping inside her room and turning to face him. She knew it was now down to him, the ball was in his court, It was Michael’s choice whether to step over the boundary to her room or not. “I know that feeling.” He admitted, checking down the hallway to see no one was watching, and then walking into her room. “Stay with me, just till I fall asleep?” She asked, slipping off her shoes. “Sure.” He replied, removing his jacket and sitting down on the bed. Although they were both tired, sleep was the last thing they wanted to do. For Maria, in her mind she thought that the whole night was a perfect dream. She was afraid falling asleep would burst that perfect bubble, waking up and none of it would be real. Laying down on the bed beside him, Michael’s strong arms wrapped round her small frame and encapsulated her in love and warmth. Nestling her head on his chest, she listened to the quiet sound of his breathing. The rising and falling of his chest bringing comfort as she tried to come down from the enormous high she’d been on all night. “I love you Michael.” She whispered as sleep finally washed over her. “I love you too Maria.” He replied kissing the top of her head and feeling her body relax beside him, knowing she had finally given in to her body’s incessant need for sleep. In the darkness of the room, he found himself wondering how he’d managed to keep away from her for so long. She was such a fantastic person, so funny, so loud and bouncy, he couldn’t help but be happy around her. He’d liked her for at least four months now, and he conceded he couldn’t really remember a time when he hadn’t had feelings for Maria. Yet it wasn’t until that night that he finally admitted how strong the feelings were, and how much he wanted and needed her. Lying there in the room, with her limp body pressed against his, he thanked god for sending him someone so very special, someone to brighten up his life and make everything worth living for. “Oh
god, that was so embarrassing!” Liz
squealed as they walked into the bedroom. “True,
……….. but it felt so good!” He
replied, pulling her close to him. “Have
I told you how exquisite you look tonight Miss Parker?”
“Hmmm,
not sure, remind me.” “Really?”
She played along with him. “Mmmm.”
He mumbled, placing feather light kisses on her bare shoulders as he
eased the straps off. Her
body hummed with anticipation, his touch scorching imaginary marks all down her
arms. Regaining her senses for a
moment, Liz stretched out her hands and pushed Max’s jacked from his
shoulders. His bow tie was another
feat altogether. No matter what she
did, she couldn’t get Max to stand still long enough for her to find the clasp
to release it. Giving up her fight,
Liz jumped straight to his shirt and unbuttoned it. Pushing it open, she slipped her hot hands over his tight
muscles. The feel of her tiny hands smoothing over his chest was something Max knew he’d never tire of feeling. She never neglected a single atom of his skin, loving each piece equally. Her hands were soon replaced by her lips as she carried on her quest to love his body. The shirt was proving to be in the way, and she tried to push it down his arms. In her haste, she forgot his bow tie was still attached, and nearly proceeded to strangle him. “Erm Liz ………… let me help.” He said, gasping slightly for breath as he released the catch. “Thanks.” She mumbled against his skin as she walked round to kiss his now bare back. “I’m in heaven.” He thought. “I’m dying and I really don’t care.” The voice in his head added. It was true, he was dying, her touch was driving him mad. He wanted so much to cease her and make mad love to her, but he sensed she wanted to go slow, so savour each moment of it. Bending to undo his shoes, Liz allowed him to slip them off before reaching for the button on his tuxedo trousers. Slowly, ever so slowly, she edged down the zip of his trousers, the sound it making filling the room. Once he had stepped out of the trousers, she continued to kiss his upper body, loving it thoroughly. By now her dress had pooled on the floor and she’d stepped out of it, leaving just her underwear and strappy sandals on. Persuading her to sit down on the bed, Max knelt down and undid the strap of her first shoe. He was determined to drive her mad like she was doing to him. Kissing her toes, he worked his way up her calf, passed her knee and on to her thigh, stopping just before he reached the top. Removing the following sandal, he repeated the act, loving the other bare leg just like the first. By the time he reached the top, he could feel her squirming, desperate for his touch. Laying out on the bed, he freed her glorious bust from the confines of her bra and gently massaged them one by one. He could feel his resolve fading fast as she sought him out. Reaching down, he hooked a finger each side of her panties and pulled them down and allowed them to fall to the floor. Unable to hold out any longer, he shed his boxers so they were both completely naked. The moonlight shone into the room, giving everything a hazy silver glow, including Liz’s perfect body. Stretching out above her, he slowly entered her, enjoying the wonderful feeling he always got when they became one. Slow, long, lazy strokes ensued, both content in taking things slowly, wanting to enjoy it to the full. Soon, desire took over their bodies, both needing to reach their goal. Pushing deeper, he felt Liz’s legs instinctively wrap around his waist, allowing him further access. Deeper he went, taking them both to the brink of ecstasy then slowing only to up the pace once again, teasing them both. Finally reaching their peak together, Max fused his lips to Liz’s in an attempt to stifle their cries of passion and love. Basking in the afterglow, Max collapsed beside Liz, pulling her into his arms, and finally giving in to the incessant need for sleep his body craved.
