Nikita
Position: Level 2 Field Op
Codename: Josephine
Trainer: Michael
Nikita was recruited into Section from prison. She was falsely accused of killing a cop in cold blood. Later, Nikita learns that she was framed on purpose so that Operations could recruit her into Section. Nikita is a rare bread, she has the ability to kill but is compassionate and still had her soul. Nikita's relationship with Michael is not approved of, but after many tries to separate them, the relationship continues, and is well know in Section. Sometime during S2, Nikita is recruited by Mr. Jones into Center to evaluate Section and the operatives. At the end of S3, Nikita is subjected to the Gellman Process. With Adrian's help, Nikita is restored to her normal self. At the end of S4, Nikita is in charge of everyone's future, canceling Madeline, and Michael, keeping Operations in Section, and sending Walter to the Farm.

Madeline
Frayn Sand:
Position: Level 9, Chief Strategist, 2nd in command
Birth date the 7th (month/year unknown)
Madeline's recruitment is not known, but it is known that she was recruited from prison. However, Madeline is as ruthless as they come. When she was a little girl, she pushed her sister Sarah down the stairs, killing her in order to get a doll. Madeline was married to Charles Sand, another op who went under cover for 9 years. When he resurfaces, Madeline shoots him. She had a relationship with Operations, in which he used her. She claims that on the outside it would be considered sexual harassment. In S4, Madeline kills herself using a cyanide tablet, after Nikita decides she would cancel her.

Operations (Paul Wolfe):
Position: Head of Section 1, next in line as Chairman of Oversight
Paul was recruited 20
years ago from a Vietnamese POW camp, he was a Lieutenant in the US marine Corp.
He was married to Corinne Wolfe Martelli and had one son, Stephen Wolfe.
Operations once had a relationship with Madeline, but was only a false
relationship to get to George. He was about to take over George's Position in
S4, but Nikita ordered him to stay in Section for another 7 years. Operations is
a ruthless leader, who at times, appears to be doing either more bad than good,
or things for his benefit, rather than for Section's benefit.

Seymour
Birkoff:
Position: Level 4 Comm Op
Until recently, Birkoff's
recruit was unknown, even to him. He told different people different people
different stories. In S4 he learns that his mother Lisa, was a Section Op who
became pregnant, having twins. At that point, Section decided to keep one twin
inside Section and let the other one free as part of an experiment to compare
their different lives. Walter was the one who decided which twin stayed and
which twin left...by flip of a coin. Birkoff is dependable, well liked, cynical
and sheltered. Aside from the mission van, Birkoff rarely goes on the outside.
He has only acted as a field op once, infiltrating a terrorist group ( Birkoff
believed it was Operations way of canceling him), and covered Michael's Position
once as a courier on a mission. Birkoff's duties include Intel verification,
system security, mission analysis, tactical liaison along with others. In S4,
Birkoff is given 3 months downtime (it was assumed he would go to see his
brother) and builds an Artificial Intelligent (AI) to take over for him. The AI
then acts as Birkoff's ID (his unrestricted conscience), doing everything that
it felt was is Birkoff's best interest, including activating the self destruct.
The AI is connected neutrally to Birkoff, so Birkoff is forced to kill himself
in order to stop the self destruct and save everyone's life.
