Although the injured man dies from his vicious wounds, his death is not in vain. In his notes are discoveries of a prehistoric world. Jump to London, weeks later, where the distinguished scientist George Challenger is trying to convince his fellow scholars at the London Zoological Society of the existence of the prehistoric world. It is here that we meet the rest of the expedition - the hunter, the reporter, the heiress and the skeptical scientist. Shortly after their expedition begins, they become stranded in a place of hostile beauty where anything can happen and nothing is as it seems - the Lost World.
