This episode is kind of based on the show Robot Wars, which can be seen every Saturday night at 9:00 on TNN. Note: I started up RP Robot Wars before I knew about this episode. In this episode, Sam has a bad dream about his upcoming robot competition with Oliver. That's when Otto and the gang come by Sam's house. Otto finds out about Robattle, the robot competition. That's when Sam shows the gang his robot, Zagron. It was kind of...not good. Later, during the hockey game, Sam gets distracted from the game trying to figure out how to fix Zagron. Suddenly, Oliver comes by with his robot, The Rovanator. Sam and the gang work hard to fix Zagron so it'll have a chance against The Rovanator. Zagron's mobility was perfected, there was a camera attached to its head so it can see from all angles, and two weapons were installed: a hammer for close-range attacks and a hockey stick with pucks as projectiles. Later, at the robot competition, 7 robots were in the arena at once fighting it out in a free-for-all (kind of like The Annihilator on Robot Wars). There was a robot with a full body spinning action that was getting destroyed by Merv Stimpleton's robot. Paula (Sam's mom) was getting nervous. The Rovanator destroyed a robot that looked like a boot. Meanwhile, Zagron was going after Merv's robot, firing its hockey pucks at it. The pucks were ineffective, as The Rovanator knocked Merv's robot on its side. No self-righting mechanism on that thing. Merv's robot is out of there. Zagron then fights a robot with a magnet on the front. Zagron pushes the magnet robot into the Kill Saws and it got sliced. Now it's down to the finals. Zagron vs. The Rovanator.The Rovanator seemed to be dominating the first round when the end-of-round buzzer sounded. Sam and the gang gave Zagron a little pit stop before the second round. The Rovanator seemed to be dominating again, making dents in Zagron's hull. Zagron was saved by the buzzer again. Sam gets ready to surrender when Reggie, Otto, and Twister reminded Sam of how he never gave up before. So he goes back in the arena ready to go. In this final round, Zagron was more agressive than ever before. The Rovanator knocked Zagron on its side, but it used its hockey stick as a self-righting mechanism and got itself back up. Zagron smashed The Rovanator's weapon a couple times with its hammer, but The Rovanator plowed into Zagron and bashed it into the wall. That's when Zagron started to fire its hockey pucks. One of the pucks broke The Rovanator's face and another puck knocked one of its wheels off! Oliver started to panic as Zagron knocked The Rovanator on its side and then ollied on top of it! The Rovanator got itself back up as the screws on its weapon came off. The Rovanator fell over and was immobilized. The winner, Zagron! | ||||||||||||||||||
