July 14, 2001 (Fastest Street Car Shootout)It has been awhile since I have posted an update, since the last update we have attended a couple car shows in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. One on July, 1, 2001 ( Canada Day ), and one on July, 7, 2001. With the new paint scheme on the car lots of people are very impressed with the way the car looks. We also took first place in both car shows.The past few months we have been upgrading our fuel system with an Aeromotive fuel pump capable of handling up to 1200hp. We have also welded a fuel sump onto the stock fuel tank so we don't have to put a fuel cell in the back of the car which will allow us to run an electric fuel pump. For this race ( Fastest Street Car Shootout ) Jim Bell ( owner of JB's Power Centre ) lent us a bigger supercharger ( an R-trim ) to try. Also Andrew Hunter had lent us an adjustable FMU ( fuel management unit). With the bigger fuel system and the bigger supercharger we have noticed some more power from the car. As a result of the upgrades we ran a best of 10.6@128mph at JB's Power Centre's Fastest Street Car Shootout on July 14. More pictures to come soon.............
