Since the last update we have done alot of playing with with the computer system to try and get it set up. Made some progress on working the bugs out but it still isn't what we expected. We also tried Jim Bells Y-trim supercharger for most of the season. The bigger supercharger still didn't feel like it was giving us the CFM the motor requires, so we feel we need to upgrade superchargers.

After switching to the larger injectors we ran into some motor problems which caused us to miss a couple races while the motor was at the machine shop. Luckly we noticed the problem before more damage was done to the motor. We were only down for only one week.

The next couple race the car was starting to feel alot stronger and we were getting abit faster the more we played with the computer (starting to get the hang of it by this time). At the JB's Power Centre Fastest Streetcar Shootout we were running fairly good unitll the second round of eliminations. In the staging lanes I could feel that the car wasn't running very well, I thought it was just that the fuel injectors were loading up the cylinders with fuel. So I pull up into the burnout box mash the throttle to do the burnout and I could feel something was still wrong. Still thinking it was the fuel, after the burnout I reved up the motor a couple times to clean out the cylinders, pull up to the starting line, hit the tranny brake, bring up the RPM's, light turns green, let off the tranny brake and start taking off down the track. At about the 60' mark the car fell flat on it's face like it was only running on 2 or 3 cylinders, I was trying to figure out what was wrong and trying to decide if I should shut the car off or continue on down the track. Deciding to continue on I made it down the track onto the return road and the car dies. Hmmmm, what's wrong. We get the car home do a few tests and find out we have another motor problem. Damn.

Being close to the end of the season we decided not to rush to fix the problem for only a couple races. We decided to quit for the season and get an early start for next season. We have some mojor changes on the go already.
