Jodi's mother, and sort of a surrogate mother to Claire. She's been at Drover's for years. She does almost all the cooking, when Tess isn't trying a new recipe in the kitchen. In sort of a bad moment in her attempt at a relationship with Terry Dodge, after Jodi's father returned. He's since left, again, and Meg's ready for another go. Meg Fountain is unclaimed.
