Episode 10: Things That Go Crash In the Night

Season One Finale!

When Dylan got home from the celebration party for The Beat on the Street, he went directly into the study of his new house. He had started reading Brandon's book. He laid it on his lap and rested his eyes. He looked around his house and realized that something was bothering him. He couldn't put his finger on it, but something was wrong.  He picked up the book and started reading again. He had gotten pretty far. He hadn't realized how much reading he had done in such a short period of time. "Logan was sleeping on the couch when he heard a knock at the door. He tried to ignore it, but whoever it was just wouldn't go away. They continued knocking so he gave in and got up off the couch to answer the door.He opened up the door and he was glad he got up off the couch. It was Angelina. "I came by to see if you wanted to go surfing," she told him. Logan was still a little sleepy. "Surfing?" He looked outside, up at the sky, "When did they start lighting the beach?" She gave him a little laugh for his comment and she confessed. "I'm kidding. I wanted to say goodnight." "You've never heard of a telephone?" "I can't kiss you over the telephone." She then left him with a kiss that he would never forget. She didn't say anything afterward. She just walked away. Leaving Logan standing there, speechless."

Dylan smiled as he was taken back to that night. He came to, f rom his daydream, and it clicked in. The house didn't feel like home. He knew Kelly was there, but it wasn't home. He looked at himself in the mirror across the room. Was he the same man Toni married? If not, was the change for the better, or for the worse?

Kelly lay in bed. Dylan was in the study still reading Brandon's book, and she was unable to sleep. Her mind kept drifting to Brandon. He had confessed that he loved her, something she wasn't expecting to hear. He had suprised her beyond belief, but she wasn't scared; she wanted to know more. Why he had told her there; what made him tell her at all? Too many 'whys'. She tossed and turned and glanced at the alarm clock. She had been playing the scene over and over in her mind for the longest time, and everytime, she had that feeling of butterflies in her stomach. She wanted to call him so badly, though she knew she couldn't. Dylan entered the room, he was obviously trying to be quiet, thinking Kelly was asleep. Dylan laid down next to her and was soon asleep.  She quietly got out of bed and went into a guestroom and laid down in the bed. She just didn't feel right sleeping with Dylan when her mind was stuck on Brandon.

David slowly wakes and rolls over, falling off the couch in the living room of Casa Walsh. He sits up, fully awake, but feeling rough. Too many beers last night.  He gets up and heads into the kitchen. Janet is in the kitchen feeding Maddy breakfast. She looks up as David enters the room. Her eyes widen and she quickly covers Maddy's eyes.  David looks down and he is standing there in his underwear.  David finds his pants nearby and pulls them on. He tried going into the kitchen again. This time, Steve and Janet are laughing at him.  Once all the laughter has stopped, Steve let out a huge sneeze.  Talk about allergies.  David quickly got his things together and went  home.

Brenda sat on the airplane, waiting for it to take off. She glanced at her watch and felt a twinge of excitement that soon she would be home. Back in Sunny Beverly Hills, where everyone she loved had been for years, living their lives without her. She longed to see Brandon, her twin, her best friend, he had always been there for her. Though she talked to him on the phone on a regular basis, it just wasn't the same. Then there was Kelly and Donna. Donna had just gotten married, and Kelly, well, it had been a while since she had talked to Kelly. She wondered if she was the same person, what she was doing with her life, and somewhere deep inside of her, there was the question of whether or not Kelly and Dylan were together. Dylan, boy did she wonder about him. When he had left her in London to come home, he never really said if he was going home to Kelly. He was always exclusive like that. She had not heard from him in months. Though they were not together anymore, she still had strong feelings for him. But, she reminded herself, if he was with Kelly, she would bow out gracefully and move on with her life. There had to be someone in Beverly Hills who she could really connect with. She really wanted to see Steve again and meet Janet and Maddy. Donna had told her so much about them. Donna had also mentioned that Valerie had moved in with Kelly. Strange, she thought, last she knew, they hated each other. Valerie Malone. She had not seen her since she was a little girl. Always a friend of the Walsh family, Valerie had been especially close to her, kind of the sister she never had. She smiled, soon she would be home, back in Beverly Hills, back where she belonged.

Clare rushed to get to her plane. There was a lot of traffic on the way to the airport and now she was about to miss her flight back to Beverly Hills. She ran through the terminal and onto the plane. She found her seat and sat down next a woman around her age. The plane took off moments later. Once they were in the air, the woman took out an old shoebox filled with pictures and letters. As the woman was looking at the pictures, Clare recognized some of the people. It was the old gang! Brandon, Steve, David, Donna, Kelly, Dylan, and Andrea. There was also a girl whom Clare never met before. It was Brenda, Brandon's twin sister who she had heard various stories about.  She finally got up the courage to explain to the woman who she was and how she knew them.  After establishing the connection, they fill each other in on why each of them are headed home and how no one knows.  Brenda and Clare then settled in for a long plane. They shared gossip, told old stories of their friends, and got to know each other real well.

Steve is wearing one of those pregnancy suits that make you look pregnant. He is in the living room vaccuming. It is awfully hard to vaccum with a stomach that big! He finishes and sits down on the couch, worn out. Just as he does so, the doorbell rings. He gets up and opens the door. It's Michael. He had left his jacket here last night.  Michael tells Steve that he and Lexi want to take out an ad in the paper.  Throughout the whole conversation, Steve is sneezing his head off.  Steve brings up that he heard Lexi is out to steal Rick.  Michael plays dumb and acts as if he has no idea of her intentions.

During the cab ride to their hotel, Donna is looking out the window watching all of the buildings go by. What a different world this is compared to Beverly Hills. Gina is quiet for the first time on the trip and Donna is enjoying the silence, knowing it won't last long. They arrive at their hotel and get checked in. Once in their room, they both collapse on their beds, exhausted from the trip.  While Gina takes a nap, Donna goes out to explore  the streets of the big apple.  A walk outside and some fresh air is just what she needs to revigorate. As Donna walks through the hotel lobby, she hears someone call her name. Donna turns around and is looking into the big brown eyes of Joe Bradley.   Hmm wasn't he supposed to be in up in          ??  Donna was shocked to be looking into his big, brown eyes.  Joe invites her to go for a cup of coffee.  Donna laughs, "For an old friend...of course I have time. Lead the way."   Wow, he didn't have to exactly twist her arm, now did he?

Lexi was waiting for Megan by her car at Melrose Place. They get in her car and head to The Beat on the Street.

Janet has been in the office all day working on her current storyline. She sat at her desk typing continously while talking on the phone.  Just then in walked Kelly. She was dressed for success, especially since her PR business was doing great. But she still needed a secretary, someone just to help her out.  Kel invited Janet to go to lunch.  She said yes but she had one last appointment.  Lexi came walking in like she was queen. Janet and Kelly looked at each other, knowing what they each were thinking. Following Lexi was Megan.   Lexi has seemed to brought in an attitude with her.  Janet gives her the form to fill out for an ad in the paper.  While Lexi is filling out the paper, Kelly mentions to Megan that she will call her to talk about working at Kelly's PR firm. Lexi and Megan leave and Janet and Kelly go for lunch.

On the plane, Brenda and Clare decided to suprise everyone together. When the plane landed, they went motel-looking. Brenda and Clare settled into the small motel room they had checked into, just outside of Beverly Hills. They both sat down on the beds, feeling tired from the plane ride, just wanting to rest for a while. Brenda gets up to make a phone call. She calls Nat, at The Peach Pit. He is shocked to hear her voice and to find out that she and Clare are back in Beverly Hills. Brenda asks Nat if he can arrange to have everyone meet at The Pit so Brenda and Clare can surprise them. He agrees and they will make their debut at 8 that night.

Gina wakens from her nap and looks at the clock. It has been over two hours since Donna left. Where is she? Gina gets worried. She grabs her bag and heads down to the hotel lobby. She knew she should never have let Donna go out by herself. Donna wasn't as familiar with this city as Gina was. As Gina got off of the elevator, she almost ran into Joe and Donna standing outside the doors. Gina is shocked to see them. Donna introduces the two and Gina recalls Donna mentioning him before. Joe leaves and the girls smile watching his as he walks away.

Janet had just come home from her afternoon bite with Kelly. She walked upstairs to find Maddy in her crib sleeping and Steve, also, in bed. Surrounding him and the bed were tissues. Steve can't stop sneezing and he is using tissues like crazy.

At the home of Dylan and Kelly a storm was hitting hard, but not one sent by Mother Nature. Dylan McKay was a man on a mission. The hallway was littered with boxes that had been opened and carelessly dumped out. The trail of destruction led from closet to closet, room to room. It ended at the study. A shorthaired Dylan was on his knees digging through a cabinet. From it he pulled a wooden box. He sifted through its contents and finally he found what he was looking for. "Do you, Logan Michael, take Angelina Elisabeth?" It had been placed in a tiny envelope. The same envelope had been placed on his door on his wedding night. It was a card from his friends: Wishing you the best of luck in your new life together and a lifetime of happiness. Or something to that effect. He only read it once. Then he eventually put it in the box with the item he was looking for. "I do," Logan answered. He didn't want to open it. He looked it over and held it for a minute. It wasn't all that fair to Kelly, he thought. But it's not at all fair to Toni. "Do you, Angelina Elisabeth, take Logan Michael?" He opened the envelope and took out a gold ring and placed it on his left ring finger. "Still fits," he commented to himself. I do," Angelina said with a smile, trying to hold back the tears of joy. He got up off the ground and looked at the mirror in front of him. He was starting to look like himself again. He got his hair cut that morning. He found his wedding ring. What was Kelly going to think? Maybe he was losing it, maybe not. At least he was starting to feel right. More now, than in a very long time. "Then by the power invested in me, by the state of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife."

Back in the hotel room Gina is giving Donna the third degree. She is asking her questions about where they were, if she's going to see him again, etc, etc. When Donna says that Joe being cute doesn't matter, Gina says that maybe she'll try to snag him. For some reason the mere thought of Gina and Joe together was making Donna queasy.

Three bowls of chicken soup later, Steve is still in bed and has gone through four boxes of tissues and eight magazines. As Steve is reading the latest edition of Parenting for Dummies, he sees Maddy crawl into the room. He picks her up and puts her on his stomach. He starts to play with her when Janet walks in. Janet gets upset that he is playing with Maddy when he is sick. She worries that Maddy will get sick do since Steve is so contagious.

Clare ran a brush through her light brown hair, trying to make it perfect. She put the brush down and smoothed over her pink shirt. It looked really good with her black slacks. Clare looked over Brenda's outfit. A pair of white pants, with a black belly shirt, she looked great. They got their bags and headed to the pit.

After speaking to Nat, Janet wakes Steve up from his sleep. She tells him that she is going down to the pit b/c Nat said there is something important going on. Steve insists on going too.

Clare and Brenda stand outside the Peach Pit. The sign on the door says "Closed for Private Party". Brenda puts her ear to the door, she can hear everyone talking. The voices of her friends are getting her so excited. She knocks loudly until Brandon opens the door. He is shocked to see who is standing before him. He swoops Brenda up in a hug. Everyone gets up from their tables once they see who it is. Just when everyone thinks the suprise is over, Clare pops in. They are just as shocked and happy to see her. After everyone has hugged everyone, everyone start talking. Brandon insists that Brenda stays with him in his apartment and Kelly insists that Clare stays with Dylan and her in the mansion. After talking and eating, everyone heads out.

Back at Brandon's apartment, Brenda and Brandon talk. She explains why she is back and Brandon mentions he wrote a book. When the topic of Dylan and Kelly comes up, Brenda says she is not back for Dylan. But when Brenda brings up Kelly, Brandon refuses to comment on the topic. He also says that he rather talk about Brenda. Brenda smiled. She was so happy to see her twin brother. Just his very presence made her the happiest she could possibly be.

It was the next morning after Clare and Brenda had come back and Clare was really exhausted. She woke up and realized where she was: at Kelly and Dylan's house in a beautiful guestroom. She felt happy to be back in Beverly Hills. Clare started thinking about all of the good times she had had when she lived in Beverly Hills. She remembered living in the Beach Apartment but mostly she was thinking of Steve. She couldn't keep her mind off him. She kept asking herself about what would have happened between them if she would have stayed. She couldn't believe he was married and had a daughter! She also couldnt believe how much things had changed since she left! Kelly and Dylan living together in this huge mansion and Donna and David getting married! She felt bad that she couldn't come to the wedding. She always knew that David and Donna belonged together though and she was really happy for both of them.

In the kitchen Janet is feeding Maddy breakfast. Steve walks in all cheery and refreshed. It seems to be that Steve is all better and is no-longer sick. On the contrary, Maddy has woken up with a runny nose and Janet is extremely mad about it. She plops Maddy in Steve's arms and says she will be in the office all day if he needs anything.

Kelly was in her office. She stared blankly at the paperwork on her desk. Megan had begun working for Kelly today and was being a big help already. She was beyond organized, and that was something Kelly really needed. She picked up the phone and quickly dialed it. When Brandon picked up, she asked him to meet her at the beach. He agreed. She hung up and when it to the main section of the office. Megan had started working for Kelly that day. Megan was doing a great job so Kelly gave her the rest of the day off.

On the phone, Dylan tells Brandon that he's ok with him publishing the book. Dylan also tells him that he dug out his wedding ring. Brandon had almost forgot to tell Dylan that he had found something of his. He told Dylan to come by to pick it up but Brandon wouldn't be home so he left the key for him. They hung up and Brandon went to meet Kelly.

After a long day at the convention, Donna and Gina arrive back at the hotel. Donna wants to order in room service but Gina pushes her into dressing up and going out to dinner. After a few glasses of wine, Donna is glad they did. Over dinner, they talk about some of the new ideas they have seen at the convention. As they are finishing their meal, Joe walks up to the table. The three walk back to the hotel. Gina entertains them with stories about the city. When they reach the hotel, they stand around a little more talking, not wanting the conversation to end. Joe asks to take to Donna to the Empire State Building. Gina convinces Donna to agree. Joe and Donna walk up the city blocks. They talk as if they have never been apart. They reach the Empire State building and wait in line to go to the top. Once there, they stand quietly taking in the magnificent view. It is cool up there and Joe takes his jacket and places it around Donna's shoulders. They walk back to the hotel holding hands, mostly in silence. At the doors of the elevator, Joe leans over and gives Donna a tight hug. Joe steps off and Donna tries to hold back the tears as she goes up to her floor.

Brandon pulled up to his meeting place with Kelly. She had beaten him there. When he pulled up she got out of her car and waited for him to come over. He approached her. They walk along the beach. After a long silence, Kelly asks him why he told her he still loved her. He says it just came out. Kelly admits she is confused about everything. She loves Dylan but doesn't think she ever stopped loving Brandon. Their walk had taken them full circle. They were back at their cars. Must have been more silence than talking, but somehow everything seemed okay. They just stood there, at Kelly's car. Brandon wanted to kiss her so bad. He didn't want to face the consequences if he did. Instead she leaned in and lightly kissed him. She smiled while opening the car door. He wasn't stunned. She kissed him like she kisses David. It still made him feel good, but it hurt at the same time. He walked back to his car and just sat there for a while. So many things were going right in his life. Maybe he should focus on that and let his future with Kelly play it self out. And where they end up is up to fate.

David is finishing up his show at the After Dark. He heads up to the bar to talk to Noah. The last thing he wants to do is go home to his empty house. He takes a seat at the bar and orders a beer. After Noah finishes up, David begs him to go out "do something...anything!" Noah mentions a club and they head out. They pull up to the club and look at the sign which reads, "Passions." David and Noah look at each other with their eyebrows raised. Then they smile. They head into the bar where the marquee features live showgirls. David orders another beer and Noah orders a mineral water. They sit back and enjoy the show. Noah feels uncomfotable not being able to drink and asks to leave. David and Noah leave the bar. While driving, Noah tries to explain how he is feeling to David. When they arrive at the bungalow, Noah asks David if they could talk for a sec. Noah confides in David that he is still in love with Valerie. Now thats a shock. Haven't we had enough shocks this ep?? Here is the rest of the conversation: "Yea, well, Valerie is easy to love. What are you going to do about it?" Noah shakes his head, "That's the problem...what can I do with Rick in the picture?" "Your best bet with Valerie is to always be straight forward with her,"David says, speaking from experience. "I don't know, man, but thanks for the advice," Noah says sadly. "Thanks for the company tonight," David says, jumping out of to Noah's jeep. "Catch you later." Noah pulls away and starts to head home to Melrose Place. Once down the block, he does a u-turn and heads toward the After Dark.

Later, Val is at the After Dark venting to Noah about her problems with Rick. "Noah, whats wrong with me? Why would my own boyfreind rather have Lexi over me?" "It's his loss! You're a great girl. And you don't even know if he is going to stay at that job." "Noah, we haven't even talked to each other. He is sleeping in the other bedroom!" "It's okay, come here," Noah hugs her. "I gotta go," Val lets go and they share a passionate look between each other and Val leaves. Ten minutes later- Val came through the door of the apartment. Rick is in the Kitchen. "Hey," Val said dropping her keys on the counter. "Does this mean we're talking?" "It depends." "Valerie, I have to stay at Sterling-Conway. How do you except me to have money with out a job?" "I have money." "It's not the same. I'm not going to have my girlfreind take care of me. You obviously need time to cool off. I'm going to leave for now," Rick says and walks out the door. Val yells at the front door, "I guess you'll be going to Lexi's, right?" Rick drives off without saying anything.

Dylan pulled up to Brandon's Melrose apartment. He walked up the stairs and knocked on the door. He didn't see the mustang anywhere, but he thought he should try. He first looked under the doormat. No key. He found it when he checked the doorframe. He had never actually been given a tour of Brandon's place. Brandon said that he would leave whatever it is he has for him, on the desk. Where the desk was is anyone's guess. The apartment wasn't all that big, so he started in one room and headed toward anything with a computer. It was in the open area between the kitchen and the living room. He first read the note from Brandon. It told him about the envelope. When he asked Brandon to lock up the house, he straightened up and collected mail. While cleaning he ran across a letter to Dylan. Brandon wasn't sure where to find Dylan so he just hung on to it. He stuck it in an envelope, to save, four years ago and he forgot about he had it, until now. Dylan opened the other envelope. It was a letter to Dylan, from Toni. She must have written it the night she died, while he was out in the rain, looking for the cat. She starts off by apologizing for what her father did to his. She wasn't around long enough to know he was still alive. If he had known that Jack was alive sooner, he might not have had Toni to lose her. How is he supposed to feel about that? She goes on to say that she knows that they're leaving because of her father and she understands. He would make their lives hard, but they would over come him and live their lives like only they could. This made Dylan tear up. She was never given the chance to live hers. "Logan and Peter sped down the stormy road. They came to a stop sign. His car was stopped there, and behind it was a pick up truck. Logan jumped out of the car and quickly asked the driver of the truck what had happened. "I don't know," he replied. He ran over to the stopped car. When he opened the door, the lifeless body of his new bride fell out. "No!" he shouted. Logan dropped to his knees and let out a cry of pain. It was a pain that no man should ever have to feel, but he was. "Oh, baby!" Peter didn't say anything as he stood there, in the rain. All he could do for Logan was be there. He just watched as his best friend's happiness, along with his life, fade away. "Oh God, Peter!" he shouted, without looking at his friend standing behind him. He cried, "Look what they did to her Peter!" He couldn't get anything else out. He sat there in the rainy street, holding the dead body of Angelina, and cried." From there it turned into a true love letter. Telling him how lucky she is it to have been accepted by his friends and family. She's looking forward to starting over with him. She ends the letter by telling him how lucky she is to have him. He fought for her and won. She thanked him for that. She told him she loves him and signed it with her name and a heart after. Dylan sat at the desk crying. It took him nearly two days to cry once she was gone. Not counting when he found her, taken from him. He hadn't cried like this since the day he left Beverly Hills. He thought he should stop and leave, just incase Brandon came home. But he couldn't move. He needed to get it out. He almost wished Brandon would come home and help him through this. He was there through it all. Before her, during, and after, Toni. He wasn't sure if he had ever thanked him. He will.

Rick goes to Lexi after storming out on Val. He tells her that he and Val had a fight. She invites him in. When Lexi asks if they broke up, Rick says no but he needs someone that understands him. Lexi moves in and kisses him. And for the first time, Rick doesn't push her away; he kisses back.

Valerie was at the beach apartment when she decided that she wasn't going to give Rick up without a fight. She headed over to Melrose Place. Val got out her car and went up to Lexi's apartment. She knocked loudly on the door. "I'm busy," yelled Lexi who was still kissing Rick. A pissed Val continued to knock on the door. Finally Lexi got up with her shirt half buttoned and answered the door,"What??", she said rudely. "Oh my God," Val said, "I don't even belevie you! Don't EVER talk to me again," Valerie yelled at Rick. "Wait! nothing happened!" Rick said and ran after her, "Nothing happened, Valerie!!" "Do I look like an idiot to you? What the hell is nothing to you, then?" "Valerie, just calm down." "Go to hell," Valerie said and drove off. Rick went back into Lexi's apartment. "Well, where were we?" Lexi said and kissed Rick. He pushed her away. "I just ruined the best thing I ever had." "Well, you still have me." "I love Valerie, I'm sorry Lexi," Rick says and leaves. "Danm, I will get her if I have anything to say about it!" Lexi thought to herself.

45 minutes after Noah had dropped him off, David still doesn't know what to do with himself. He is not tired. He wanders around the house looking for something to do. There is nothing on TV. He looks in the fridge but he really isn't hungry. He decides to call Donna. He realizes it is really late in New York but he really needs to hear her voice before falling asleep. He dials the phone and it rings in the empty hotel room in New York over and over. He doesn't leave a message. David thinks that it is really strange that Donna and Gina are not there. Well, Gina he can understand. She has probably already found some poor unsuspecting soul that she has her eye on, but Donna should be there. Oh well, he is sure everything is fine, just disappointed that he couldn't talk to her. David goes to fridge and pulls out a beer. He opens it as he steps out on the front porch. He takes a drink and steps out further knocking his head on the wind chimes that Gina had given them for a wedding present. "Damn," Daivd mumbles to himself. He sits down on the swing and stares out at the dark night.

A crying Val was at the bar drinking when Noah came in. "What's wrong now, Val?" Noah asked her "Rick cheated on me." "Your kidding me? With Lexi?" "Yeah, I should have known," Val said as she sipped her drink, "Want to join me?" "Yeah, I think I will," Noah said and took his first drink in months, "Wow your drinking some strong stuff," Noah said looking at the bottle labeled Vodka. "Yeah, it suits my mood." A lot of drinks later- "You know what Noah? You have always been there for me, thank you," Val said and kissed Noah. "I always will be, Valerie," Noah answered and kissed her back. "Wanna go?" "Lets." They leave and go to Noah's apartment. "This could be a bad idea ya know," Noah said as he unbuttoned Val's shirt. "In that case, I'm full of good ideas," Val said as she unbuckled his pants. "Yeah, I guess so," Noah says as they fell on the bed in the heat of passion. They kiss and have a hot, passionate night together.

Steve is holding Maddy in her bedroom. She is hysterical crying and her nose is running. Steve gets the ear-thermometer and takes her temperature. She has a fever alright, 102.1! He thinks to himself that he better call Janet. He goes into his bedroom and picks up the phone. He dials the office. "Ssshhh," he says to Maddy as the phone rings. "Beat on the Street, this is Janet," Janet said as she answered the phone after a couple of rings. "Hey. I told myself I wouldn't bother you all day and I didn't. But Maddy is really sick. She has a fever and she won't stop crying. I don't know what to do." "Oh god. Steve, she's really sick," Janet says worriedly. "Don't worry. Just come home. FAST." "Ok, I'm on my way," Janet says as she hurriedly hung up the phone.

Joe is in his hotel room packing up his clothes. It had been a long, hard trip and he was ready to get back home. The trip down memory lane with Donna had exhausted him. The chemistry between them was so strong. The guilt he felt over the feelings he was having over her were tearing at him. How could she be married? They had been so perfect for each other, held so many of the same ideas. They had both even believed in waiting until after marriage before having sex. He wondered if Donna had kept that promise she had made to herself. He hoped she had at least waited until she was with someone whom she had really loved as he himself had. Joe finished packing and laid down on his bed, trying to read. He couldn't concentrate on the words. Maybe a shower would help him to relax. Joe took a shower and as he was getting out, he heard a knock on the door. He wrapped a towel around himself and went to answer the door. Donna stood there. She looked him up and down, taking in the sight of him standing there in the towel. "Hi Joe." Joe pulled the door open and stepped back, "Come in."

Janet hurriedly gathered all her things together, not even shutting down the computers. She grabbed her bag and ran out the door, almost forgetting to shut it. She tried to take it easy, because afterall, she was pregnant, but Maddy is first priority. Getting home to her was the most important thing right now. Janet quickly took the elevator down to the parking garage level. She got in her car and turned on the engine. She proceeded up the ramp to outside the garage. It was raining out. Actutally, it was a storm, making things hard to see, not to mention, the roads slippery. It was 12:30 am and Janet drove as fast as she could. She was heading North along a main road. The rain was coming down in buckets. She was stopped at a red light. It turned green and she stepped on the gas. Up ahead was another green light. It was at a major intersection. Janet was getting closer and closer to it. She was less then two miles from home. The rain was no where close to slowing. Finally she was just about at the light. It was still green so she didn't bother slowing down. She actually kind of sped up. As she made her way into the intersection, out of the corner of her eye, she could see a car coming west, speeding, not intending stop even though he had a red light. The car sped up. Janet realized that the car was going to go through the red light and that they would hit. She saw the car swirving as if the driver was drunk. She panicked. Janet saw, again out of the corner of her eye, the car coming closer and closer to hers. She closed her eyes, for she knew the the two cars were about to hit. Crashhhhhhhh The car smacked right into the driver's side of her's. Janet was still, her head up against the horn, forcing it to sound. The noise was so loud; almost peircing. Her head was full of blood. Everything went dark. She blacked out.
