Episode 1.07:
Donna is anxious for David to get home from work. She wants to tell him all about the plans she and Gina made for New York. She calls the After Dark, and speaks to Noah who says he will pass on a message to David. Donna quickly fell asleep, dreaming about her trip.
Kelly called Dylan waking him up. She told him how she hated packing and he said he would take care of it.
David finally gets home but Donna is in a deep sleep. He wonders about the whole NY thing that's going on.
Steve tried to convice Brandon to work for The Beat on the Street. After talking and talking him into it, Brandon calls Kelly for her opinion. After speaking with her, he accepts Steve's offer.
Donna wakes up, forgetting she fell asleep on the couch. She goes into the bedroom and finds a note on the pillows. It's from David. He says how much he loves her and that he went to meet Steve at the paper.
Kelly and Valerie are hanging out at the Pit. Kelly suggests her working at the After Dark, like she used to. Val likes the idea and says she will talk to Noah about it. Val comes up with an idea to throw a baby shower for Janet. Kelly thinks it's a great idea and they start to plan it.
When Kelly got home, all her stuff was gone. She was about to freak until she saw there was a message on the answering machine. It was from Dylan. He moved all her stuff into their new house. Kelly thought it was so sweet of him to do that. She grabbed her keys and headed back out and followed the directions to her new house.
At work, Rick keep noticing Lexi eyeing him from her office. He gets fed up and bursts into her office. As usual, Lexi puts the moves on him, but this time it's more sexual. Rick yells at her and she backs off. He threatens to quit if her games continue.
Kelly pulled up to her new house. It was huge. She put the key in and opened the door. It was already decorated, Dylan did have fine taste. There were so many rooms! She heard Dylan's voice somewhere in the house. She followed it and found him. He was in the hot tubs, the jets in full swing. She took off her clothes and joined him in the tub.
Val convinced Noah to hire her for the After Dark. He did and she is now Assistant Manager.
While Kelly is at the store, Dylan gets a call. It the owner of the Beverly Royale Hotel. He has a business proposition for Dylan. He is selling the hotel and offered it to Dylan. Unsure at first, Dylan highly starts to consider it. After consulting with Kelly, they make a joint-decision for him to buy the hotel. How much does it cost?? 1.3 Million Dollars!
Donna goes to the After Dark expecting to find David. Val and Noah inform her that he left to do an interview for his column. Donna, aggrivated that he wasn't there when he told her he would be, goes home.
David goes to Now Where This in search of Donna. Instead he finds Gina. But soon Donna enters and the two go into the courtyard to talk. Donna tells David that she feels they are hiding and forgetting to tell to many things to each other; that it doesn't seem like a partnership. They quarrel over making decisions with out consulting each other and it ends in David leaving angered and Donna more anxious than ever to go on her trip.
Steve is angered that Janet has come home after 11 for the third time that week. Janet refuses to give an explanation for where she was. Steve doesn't settle and Janet snaps back at him.
Gina walks into Brandon's apartment hearing the end of his conversation with Kelly. She is disturbed that he went to her for advice rather than coming to his own girlfriend. Gina and Brandon argue and get into a whole thing about Kelly and Dylan. Gina says she doesn't want to be second to Kelly again and Brandon says that he's not Dylan and won't let her scream at him and then come crying back. Gina tells him to go to hell and leaves. Brandon calls Kelly to say that they will no longer be attending the housewarming party at Chateau McKay.
Once back in her own apartment, Gina fell to the floor crying. She didn't want to lose Brandon over jealousy. She fell asleep for a short time and then started looking at some things about the covention in NY. She came up with the idea of being Now Where This's NY Sales Consultant. She would run the idea by Donna in the morning.
Steve is in the kitchen making breakfast when Janet comes in. As soon as she tries to apologize for the fight the previous night, Steve jumps down her throat. Janet doesn't like him antagonzing her and starts to fight back. Maddy interrupts the fight by crying. Janet does upstairs to her making sure Steve knew that this argument was far from over. Donna called and asked Janet to meet for lunch later that day. She agreed.
At the Beverly Royale Hotel (BRH), Dylan is setting up his new office when Kelly comes in. They have a quick conversation about the housewarming party later that evening and they share a quick passionate moment. Before getting too caught up in the moment, Kelly stops them and heads out.
At the Peach Pit, Donna and Janet are having lunch. Donna tells her all about the problems she's having with David. Janets comforts her and gives her some advice without forgetting to welcome her to the joys of marriage.
Dylan and Kelly are patiently waiting for their guests to arrive. They all show up together and Val makes that award-winning line, "Yeah we all jumped into Steves hot rod mini-van." Janet can't believe how big the house is. Everyone congragulates them on moving in together. Kelly asks if everyone is ready to sit down and eat and David confesses that he's in the mood for some Donna on rye. Talk about fantasies! Donna tells Janet that she worked at her problems with David. Hmm, when did that happen?? During dinner, Kelly feels as if something is missing. She soon realizes it's Brandon who isn't there, giving her the empty feeling. She quickly finishes her dinner and sneaks out.
At The Beat on the Street, Brandon is typing an article about relationships. His article seemed to reflect the two main triangles he witnessed. The never-ending Brenda-Dylan-Kelly and the Best Friend and Gal one, Dylan-Kelly-Brandon. Brandon gets interrupted when someone knocks on the door. He goes to open it. There Kelly stood. "Evening Mr. Walsh."
