Oz took Willow’s in his hands when they entered the Bronze. As they began to dance, he leaned into her ear and whispered, “I’ll love you always and forever”, and when he pulled back, he turned into Xander. Willow Rosenburg woke up with a start. She could not believe that she had another one of these dreams. For the past month, she’d been having all sorts of weird ones with only Xander and Oz in them. The other annoying part of these dreams was the fact that she’d been losing so much sleep thinking about what they meant, that during class Willow kept drifting off. Now she knew what Xander felt like after the teacher yelled at her. As Willow tossed the blankets off of her, she tried to decipher what all of these dreams meant. She knew that Xander had definite feelings for her now, but she also knew that Oz did as well. She didn’t want to have to choose between one of them, but Willow knew that if it came down to it, Xander would win hands down because not only had she known him for sixteen years, she loved him for ten. And that’s not that easy to give up, even if someone doesn’t return it right away, like Xander. But she also liked Oz a lot and even if it wasn’t love, she didn’t want to hurt him again. < Oh well, I might as well get dressed for school. > As she opened up her drawer she smiled sadly because there was a picture of her and Xander taken before Buffy moved to Sunnydale. They had their arms wrapped around each other, and Xander wore a huge grin on his face. < Those were the simpler times. > Willow thought. She pulled out a pair of jeans and a red shirt. While she was putting them on, she knew she would have to deal with this situation sooner or later. < I just hope it’s later then sooner. > Willow worried. |
