Have you ever heard if a man named Jesus? He was a man who was born by a virgin to come to this planet to teach and instruct us in the way we should go, but most of all to be brutally beaten and ridiculed then have himself nailed to a cross so the crowd could mock him. "Crucify him! Crucify him!" they repeated in an antagonizing fashion. What is so strange about this is that he never committed a sin - that is he never did any wrong thing. But this man overcame death and rose after the third day. Can you believe a man rose from the dead? But make no distinction, he was not an ordinary man. He was God's son who would come to this earth to take our sins on the cross, so we could have eternal life. Many believe it's a complicated thing that requires you to be good and to do right. Though he does want us to do right, that is not what Jesus taught. He said, (John 3:18)"He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." In other words he's saying the only way to get to heaven is to put your full trust and assurance in Jesus Christ, and to repent of all your wrong-doings.
Here is the plan of salvation according to the book of Romans in the Bible.
IS ANYONE "GOOD"?
*"There is none righteous, no, not one" (Romans 3:10)
WHO HAS DONE WRONG?
*"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
WHAT IS ETERNAL COST OF SIN?
*"For the wages of sin is death:" (Romans 6:23)
CAN I DO ANYTHING TO SAVE MYSELF?
*"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:" (Romans 3:20)
IS THERE A WAY?
*"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
JUST ASK HIM TO SAVE YOU!
*"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
Jesus will be returning soon! First he will come to rapture his believers. In it, all men not saved will not know what to do because they will have been left behind for the worst seven years the Earth will have ever seen. Finally, Jesus will return to set up his kingdom for a thousand years! If you are saved, you can be a part of it! Dno't be left behind!
Here is a prayer you could use to be saved (remember, do it out of a sincere heart because you truly want God's grace. Don't just do it so you can be saved.) Jesus, I know I'm a sinner. I know I have done wrong in your eyes. There is no way I can match up to your holiness. Please forgive me. I love you with all of my heart and want to accept your gift of salvation. I realize Jesus died on calvary for me. Jesus, please forgive me and fill my soul. In your most holy name I pray, amen.
