Consistent Fantasy Scorers |
|
- Marvin
Harrison
– in the past two seasons has average 1,500 yards and 108
receptions. Expect this to
continue, possibly scoring close to 15 touchdowns this season
- Curtis
Martin -
If he can stay healthy, count on Martin running for over 1,000 and
catching for over 500. Is truly
and all around running back and will score between 8-13 touchdowns.
Martin has averaged close to 1,300 yards rushing over the past three
years.
- Eric
Moulds – With Rob Johnson at the helm, expect Moulds to have yet
another huge year. Have
averaged 1,200 yards and 7 touchdowns a year over the pas three years.
Can go over the middle and go deep.
Definite mid to late first round pick in a yardage league.
- Tony
Gonzalez – Best fantasy tight end hands down.
Will get close to 100 balls this year and may score more with Trent
Green now at the helm in K.C. May
be a Second Round pick if having a quality tight end is important to you.
- Chris
Carter – “All he does is catch touchdowns” describes this
consummate receiver. Has
averaged nearly 12 touchdowns a year over the past three years and has
caught over 1,000 yards over that time period.
Still have some of the best hands in the league.
- Emmitt
Smith - Many have
written Smith off already, but count on him getting 1,000 yards and nine
touchdowns. The addition of
Tony Banks may revitalize the passing game giving Emmitt more room to run.
A solid pick in the late first, early second round because he will
score consistently and play through pain.
- Tim
Brown – Age is starting to become a factor for Brown, but should
still get 1,000 yards and close to ten touchdowns.
Playing with Rice has said to given him a new spark, not that he
needed it. With an established
running game now, the Raiders passing game will open even more.
- Stephen
Davis – Will
flourish in new head coach Marty Schottenheimer’s system.
Count on 1,200 yards passing and 35 catches out of the backfield.
12 touchdowns would not be out of the question.
If Jeff George throws well, Davis could have a career year.
Is, however, prone to injury.
9. Daunte
Culpepper – Has the strongest arm in the league, and although
inexperienced, he is already in his third year.
May throw for more than 4,000 this year and will get at least 30 total
touchdowns this year, some say even 40. Lack
of running game may hurt him. Can
you go wrong when he is throwing to Randy Moss every week?
