~*Gia Moves Out Of The Cottage*~

Gia: {He walks over to the mantle} I think that's it.

Nikolas: {Grabs the portable CD player} Except -- except this here. {He walks over to her}

Gia: Well, I -- I brought that with me, in case you're wondering.

Nikolas: {He hands her the CD player} I believe you. {He does his best to hold back the tears} Anything else?

Gia: {Gia digs into her purse and Nikolas picks up a flower} The first payment on my back rent.

Nikolas: Gia, keep it. It's not necessary, ok?

Gia: No, I'm paying you for every minute that I lived here. Take it. {He takes the check}

Nikolas: You take this. {Gia reluctantly takes the flower}

Gia: {She throws it back on the table} That's ok.

Gia picks up the last of her stuff and walks toward the door. Nikolas has his back to her and rips up the check, while he sheds some tears

Gia: {Stops on the steps and looks at him rip up the check} How could I forget? Money's no object, right?

Nikolas: Yeah, something like that. {Holds back his tears as he turns to look at Gia}

Gia: Bye, rich boy. {She walks out of the cottage}

Nikolas: {He picks up the flower} Good-bye. {After bringing the flower to his face, he throws it across the room in anger, then breaks into tears}

Gia: {Walks up to them} Elizabeth and her prince, together again. What a shock. {Nikolas looks at her briefly and then looks away}

Gia: I've been trying to get a hold of Lucky, but it's the weirdest thing. I can't seem to find him anywhere. Not that you'd care, but I'm getting a little worried. I'm thinking about calling my brother.

Elizabeth: No.

Gia: Why not? My brother's a cop. He can help.

Elizabeth: Gia, please, just stay out of this, ok?

Gia: {Glances at Nikolas} What did you do, mighty prince? {Nikolas looks at her} Did you have Lucky dropped off a cliff? It's what your daddy would've done, right?

Nikolas: Are you through?
