Sheridan always looks beautiful as usual and she saw Julian drinking some brandy early this morning. "Morning, Julian." She flatly replied. "Well morning to you too, Sister dear." Julian flashed a faux grin. "So, why are we having a party again, Julian?" She glimpsed at the picture of her and Julian together. "Father will be coming home very soon. We must throw him the biggest party ever." Julian looked up from his newspaper. "Oh, so were you the one who told me about a new secretary that is working for Ivy?" Sheridan remained stoic. "Yes, and she is hot!!! I would love to do a number on her!" He grinned roguishly. "Julian!!" Sheridan and Ivy both yelled in shock.
"What?" He shrugged with laughter. "I will not have you talking about my secretary that way!" Ivy scolded. "Pilar's daughter is simply ravishing! What's her name again?" He smirked. "None of your business, Julian!" Ivy shook her head. "Come on, Sheridan. I have something to show you." Ivy ignored Julian and showed Sheridan upstairs. "Ivy, I know that Julian can be a real pain." Sheridan scoffed. "Yes, he is. Unfortunately for Alistair, he always admonishing Julian for his reckless mistakes." Ivy chuckled. "So, who is this secretary of yours, Ivy?" Sheridan wondered. "You're about to meet her. Sheridan meet Theresa and Theresa meet Sheridan." Theresa beamed. "Wow, Miss Crane! I've heard so much about you!" She is thrilled to meet Sheridan.
"Please call me, Sheridan." She insisted. "All right, Sheridan." Theresa felt relieved that Sheridan was making her feel comfortable in the Crane mansion. After working here for three weeks, she was trying to get the hang of it.
"You are Pilar's daughter?" Sheridan examined her carefully. "Yes, my mother is very fond of you and Mrs. Crane." Theresa commented. "We're fond of her as well. Theresa, have you ever thrown a party?" Ivy questioned. "Yes!" She answered immediately. "Good, do you think you can handle throwing a party for Alistair Crane?" Ivy smiled. "Oh yes, Mrs. Crane! I'm more than honored to do this job! I promise I won't let you down!" She jumped up and down for joy. "Good, can you make some phone calls for me . . . all of the instructions are on my desk." Ivy and Sheridan left Theresa in peace to get all of her work done. After Ivy closed the door. She walked with Sheridan down to the patio. "Sheridan, how are you?" Ivy sounded concern for her. "I'm good. Ivy . . . I'm sick and tired of dating these guys who have money and are only interested in marrying me because of a damn business merger!" Sheridan looked annoyed. "Then don't bother with it, Sheridan. You can opt for something else. You can leave early, can't you?" Ivy puts her glass of lemonade down. "Yes, but you know how Father can be." She murmured. "Besides, I should humor myself for this welcome home party. It's not like anything will happen tonight . . . do you want to go to the Country Club with me?" Sheridan proposed while stretching. "Sure . . ." Ivy stood up and walked with Sheridan. The limousine waited for them.
"But first, why don't we go to the Book Café? Okay?" Sheridan offered. "Doesn't sound bad to me." Ivy didn't seem to mind. "They serve the best mocha latte there." Sheridan curved her lips. Ivy set there and waited for Sheridan as she walked into the Book Café. "Yes, I would like to have two mocha lattes?" Beth served them to her and unaware of what's going on around her, after buying the two cups of coffees to go. She bumped into a stranger. "Oh, I'm sorry, Miss. I didn't see you standing there." His killer smile approached her with kindness. "It's okay . . ." Sheridan stood there speechless as the stranger beamed at her again. She left and he kept on looking. "She's gorgeous." He whispered to himself.
"I hope I run into her again." Beth walked up to him. "Luis, are you okay? Are we still on for tonight?" She kissed him. "I uh . . . yeah." He returned a sweet kiss back. "Beth, who was that?" His mind floated away from reality. "I don't know… all I know is she wanted some coffee. She said that I serve the best coffee in Harmony." Beth looked confused. "She's right about one thing. You do serve the best coffee." He smiled and pulled her closer. Once Luis hugged her. This girl kept on bothering him. What is it about her that made him feel different when he's with Beth? Beth didn’t make him feel that way. Maybe it's because he’d known Beth all of his life.
Beth released herself from him. "So, what brings you by?" She returned to the counter. "I came to see you, sweetheart. I knew you would be here and I'm waiting for you to get off." Luis grinned slightly. "Yes, I’ll get off once Chad arrives here. Then we're on our way." Beth gleamed at him. "You are so beautiful." He said while looking mesmerized. "Thanks, Luis. You're not too bad looking yourself." She bantered. Chad walked in. "Hey Beth, I'm here now." He beamed. "Hey Luis, what's shaking?!" He gave Luis a hand shake. "Nothing much. I'm about to show Beth what having a good time is all about." He hinted. "Good luck, bro. She deserves her time off." Chad hinted back. "Hey! You two are talking about me like I'm not even here! No fair!" She pouted. "Aw, honey. You know we wouldn't do that." He invited Beth to sit on his lap. "Come on, Lopez-Fitzgerald. We’ve got things to do." Beth tagged along and they waved good bye to Chad. Luis held Beth close but his mind went back to running into that pretty girl earlier. It was something about her that made him curious about her. Whoever she is, she sure is something! If I weren’t with Beth, I would make a move on her hands down! Wait a minute! What am I doing? Beth is a good woman for me. What could that girl have what Beth have? He thought.
Luis didn’t know that this girl he ran into would make his life go through a transformation. Luis went home to go change for his date with Beth as Beth went to her appointment to look really nice for him.
Meanwhile, Sheridan and Ivy were at the Country Club for two hours. Sheridan was hearing what Ivy was saying but her attention wasn't there. "Sheridan, are you okay?" Ivy was beginning to worry. "I'm fine, Ivy . . ." She faintly replied. "It's a man . . . oh yes. I know that look. I bet he's a good-looking man, isn't he? Is he around here?" Ivy searched for him. "No, Ivy . . . he's not here. It doesn't matter . . . he will never come back." Sheridan was kind of sad. This guy held her with interest. Whoever he was, Sheridan knew deep down, he could be the one for her. "Oh my, we better get going, Sheridan! We don't want to be late for your father's homecoming!" Ivy took Sheridan by the hand and they rushed to the limousine to get dressed up for Alistair's return.
Theresa had this place looking it's best, and Ivy was very impressed. "Theresa, would you like to be at this party, since you've helped me out so much?" Ivy said while putting on her other earring. "But, I don't . . . have anything to wear." Theresa felt embarrassed. "Theresa, you can wear one of my daughters' dresses. Help yourself." Ivy insisted. "Thank you, Mrs. Crane!" Theresa gave her a hug. Sheridan went upstairs and chatted with Ivy for a minute or two. "Ivy . . . I'm nervous . . . what if Father is disappointed in me for not getting married?" Sheridan started to fret. "Don't worry about it, Sheridan. Your father doesn't want you to get married to a guy who wants you for your money and rob you blind, that's all." Ivy ensured her. "If you say so . . ."
Sheridan glinted at Theresa when she walked in. "Theresa, you look beautiful! Every guy is going to want you!" Sheridan hugged her. "The same goes for you Sheridan!" Theresa complimented back. Sheridan, Theresa, and Ivy made their way downstairs to the party. Five minutes later, there he is. Alistair Crane returns.
Chapter 2
She sat there in boredom until a guy walked up to her. "May I have this dance, my beautiful one?" He asked. "My name is Roberto, what's yours?" He smiled. "My name's Sheridan. Nice to meet you." Sheridan blushed. "Sheridan . . . I don't mean to pry, but I've been watching you all night long. Is it all right if we go have a date, tomorrow night?" He suggested.
Sheridan was shocked. "You want to go out on a date with me?" Sheridan felt relieved. "Yes, if it's not too much . . ." His green eyes glowed into hers. "No, not at all." Sheridan curved her lips. "Meet you around seven?" He held her closer. "You got it. Seven, it is." She couldn't believe she is going out on a date after two years. She might have a chance at romance again.
A year later, Sheridan and Roberto’s relationship was stronger than ever. She went to the main house to see if Ivy was there. But Theresa was in there straightening up Ivy's desk. "Is Ivy around, Theresa?" Sheridan stared at her curiously. "Mrs. Crane is out for the evening. Do you want me to leave her a note?" Theresa inquired. "That's okay . . . I need to go see Julian." She sighed and went downstairs as Theresa followed her. Theresa went home and Sheridan saw that Julian wasn’t around either. Sheridan went back to her cottage and decided to change into something comfortable. Then, she went out for a walk in the park. Luis dropped Beth off at her place and he decided he should take a walk.
Luis saw the same girl from the Book Café a year ago. "It can't be her? It must be her! I’ve got to see her." He urged. He tapped on her shoulder. "You? Do I know you?" Sheridan asked in a defensive tone. "I . . . uh . . . sort of." He couldn't utter a word. "If you don't mind . . . I have to get going. See you around." She walked off and didn't look back. Luis glanced down and saw that she had dropped her driver's license, but by then, it was too late to stop her. He wrote her address down. He was thinking about something that would grab her attention. The next day, Sheridan heard a knock on her door. She sighed and answered it. "It's you? What do you want?" She stared at him annoyedly.
"You dropped your driver's license. I came here to return it. Here. Hope you'll have a nice day." He smiled and left her speechless. Roberto yawned. "Honey, who was that?" He wrapped his arms around her waist. "Some stranger returned my license to me. I must have dropped it last night." She relaxed in his arms. He tagged her into the shower with him. Roberto wanted to show her how a woman is supposed to be treated.
Luis came home and sat in peace. "She sure is pretty . . . I want to see her… but how? She probably has dozens of men at her doorstep." He was kind of sad. "How will I catch her attention?" He said aloud again. Theresa walked in hearing him. "Luis, are you okay? Are you talking about Beth?" Theresa is bewildered by his response. "Yea, Beth. How will I surprise her? Have any ideas, sis?" He stood up and walked to her. "Send her some roses with a card. Like a secret admirer would do!" She beamed. "Ooh! You have given me the most wonderful idea!" He kissed her cheek and called the flower shop to order some red roses for a very special lady. He gave the address but he didn't know her name.
Roberto left four hours ago. Sheridan wanted to try and see if Ivy was there again. Then, there was a knock at the door. She tucked her collar in and opened the door. "Miss? I've got a bouquet of flowers for you." He smiled and she seemed lost. "Okay . . . bring them in." The man brought them in and left as she tipped him. She skipped across the room and sniffed the roses. Oh what a lovely smell. She glanced at the card. "Ooh, I wonder if this from my sweet love, Roberto." She smiled to herself. She read the card. To the most beautiful woman in the world, I'd love to see you again. Your secret admirer. "OH!!! Roberto!!! How sweet of you!" She shouted for joy. "I'm so in love!!!"
Sheridan ran out of her cottage to tell Ivy what Roberto had "done". Ivy and Sheridan went to the Country Club again and talked about it. Suddenly she saw Roberto there. She went up to him and kissed him fervently. "Roberto, that was so sweet of you!"
Roberto pulled back from her inviting kiss and stared at her blankly. He hadn't a clue of what she was talking about. "We're going to celebrate tonight and don't forget to bring yourself." She kissed him again. "Better yet, I'll bring me . . ." Sheridan threw in a nasty, sexual gesture. "Mmm . . . I like the way you think, Miss Crane." Roberto didn't know what had gotten into Sheridan but he was certainly not going to question it. Sheridan told Ivy that she’d see her later and she was going to go with Roberto. "So, Roberto, how would you like it tonight? Rough or soft?" She played with his hair. "Both . . . Sheridan, you are so sexy! You're making me wanting you more and more." Ivy knew something didn't click. She observed how Roberto stared at Sheridan utterly clueless of whatever she was talking about. "Looks like to me, Sheridan has another lover and just isn't telling me." She laughed and arrived back at the Crane mansion.
Theresa sat on the couch and she heard the door. "Beth, come on in!" Theresa let her in. "Is Luis around?" Beth asked quietly. "Yes, he is . . . I'll go get him." Theresa knocked on his door. "Luis! Beth is here!" When Luis heard Theresa mention his girlfriend's name, he cut himself shaving. Damn! I had no idea, Beth was coming! She must have had her day off, he thought. He groaned and yelled to Theresa that he’d be right there.
"He's coming Beth. See you later." Theresa decided to go pay Whitney a visit. Beth took a glimpse at Luis's family pictures. "One day, it's going to be me and Luis having a family, like he promised me ten years ago before his father disappeared." Beth was still shaken up about it. She really was looking forward to being Luis's wife. But he had to put his family first. Luis was an honest and decent man.
Plus, he's a looker. What lady could resist his charm? Beth waited patiently. Luis came out. He gave her a halfhearted smile. "So, what brings my favorite girl by tonight?" He brushed his lips on hers. "Mmm . . . answer me." He tightened his grip on her with a high sexual demand. "Luis . . . behave." She said while clenching her teeth. "I wanted to show you of how much I love you, tonight. Is that too much to ask for?" She quizzed him playfully. "No! But I do want to be alone with you." At least he was being honest, somewhat.
Luis snatched his coat and helped Beth with hers and they went to her place for some privacy. Beth went upstairs and made sure that her room was set for him. Luis followed her. He was eager to find out what she was up to. He grabbed her and placed her on her bed. "Luis, you're ruining it . . . I wanted to surprise you." She tempted him with one of her kisses and he bargained for more. "Beth, how could I resist you . . . you're beautiful . . ." He got on top of her and started taking off her clothes.
He smiled to himself, but as soon as he looked down he saw Sheridan's face. He shrieked and pulled back. "Luis? Is something wrong?" Beth was disappointed of Luis’s retracting from their engagement tonight. She wanted to make love to him and he was not himself.
"Beth . . . I'm sorry. I'm just a little nervous." He smiled and kissed her again. This time he saw Sheridan's face again but he didn't want to stop what he was doing. He was making love to the woman of his dreams and not the one he was currently with. Beth was a nice girl . . . but she was nothing like this other girl he had met. He craved for her . . . he wanted to know her name and everything. All he knew was where she lived. He surely hoped that she would return her like for him, too. He finished disengaging Beth's clothes and she took off his as well and they begin making love.
Luis knew that it was wrong to think about another woman but he couldn’t get her pretty face out of his head. Beth moaned sweetly and couldn't get away from him. Luis touched her with a passion and but with yearning to be with another girl.
Chapter 3
At the Crane mansion, Sheridan sat in the living room, contemplating about these anonymous presents she had been receiving.
Luis was distraught of whether or not Sheridan had gotten the hint that it was him sending her these presents, not Roberto. He had to go over to the Crane mansion to pick Pilar up. Little did he know that Theresa worked there, too, and Pilar was already at home, sleeping.
Theresa opened the door and she saw Luis. "Luis?!" She fretted. "Theresa, what the hell are you doing here? I told you not to come near the damn Cranes!" , he yelled.
Suddenly, she caught his eye. "Theresa, you never told me she lives here." He was paralyzed. "Luis . . . that's Sheridan Crane." She replied softly. Sheridan walked over to the commotion she thought she had heard coming from the foyer. "Theresa, is everything all right?" Once Sheridan looked up at who the stranger was. she recognized his face in an instant.
"You? How do you know, Theresa?" Sheridan was completely baffled. "I'm her brother." Luis showed chivalry towards Sheridan by kissing her hand. Theresa didn't respond the whole time. She wanted to observe and take notes to see if her impression of what was going on was right. "Nice to meet you. Theresa, I have to go now. Have fun, I need to rest and I don't want to be bothered for tonight." Sheridan removed her hand from Luis, smiled at Theresa with kindness, and left. Luis had a blank expression on his face.
Theresa came up from behind while Luis stood there motionless.
"You like her, don't you?" Theresa could tell what was going on. "Theresa, her name is Sheridan Crane, right?" He turned to his sister's curious expression. "Yes . . . but Luis . . . I wouldn't get on her bad side. She's such a nice lady and . . ." Luis hushed her. "Theresa, not another word, we're going home and we'll discuss your working here in the morning. Okay?" He led her out and was kind of furious with Theresa, but at the same time, he was thinking about the sensual Sheridan Crane. I'm going to make her notice me. Even if it kills me! He contemplated.
Sheridan went to her cottage and seemed very astounded by the way her room was set up. "Sheridan, this is all for you." He came up to her with a kiss and carried her into the bedroom. "What's all this for? I . . ." Roberto smoothed his lips over hers and captivated the moment by moving on her with a frantic passion burning inside him. "You are so wonderful to me, Roberto." Sheridan moaned and they put their "differences" aside and made sweet passionate love.
It had been three months and Luis would stop at nothing to get what he wanted: Sheridan. He wanted her so badly, there were times when he blew off his dates with Beth. He did it inadvertently, but he always made it up to her. Not tonight. He realized that Theresa was going to be at another Crane party and he was going to get what he'd been looking for . . . Sheridan. Luis was all decked out with his black tuxedo and smiled at his sister once he arrived.
"Luis, what made you want to come here with me, tonight?" Theresa asked purposefully. She knew why, but she wanted him to answer anyway. "Theresa, I want to see what's it is like, that's all." He nonchalantly replied. "Whatever you say." she laughed.
Sheridan was looking extraordinary that night. Her lavender dress showed off her slender frame and her curves were catching every man's eyes. Too bad Roberto wasn’t here to share this evening with her. Unfortunately, he was called away on business to make a deal with Ricardo Marconi in Italy. Sheridan drowned herself with some fine wine and turned down every man who asked to dance with her. But Luis wasn't going to take "no" for an answer and he'd be damned if he came out tonight for nothing.
Luis walked up to her and kissed her hand. "May I have this dance?" Luis politely asked. "Yes . . ." For some reason, Sheridan didn't want to refuse his offer. It was sweet and sincere, yet irresistible.
Sheridan and Luis pranced out to the dance floor. Luis romanced her with his sensual touch. Something she didn't have so much. Luis's eyes turned her on. "Why do you keep on appearing in my life?" She finally quizzed him. "I don't know, maybe this is trying to tell you something." He bantered. "Sweet. You are such a good dancer." She was moved by his debonair ways which seduced her to crave for more of him. So handsome he is. What is it about him that made her find him intriguing? "So, you are Theresa's brother?" Sheridan interrogated with skepticism. "Yes, I am . . . and I’m just here with her tonight because I wanted to make it up to her for embarrassing her in front of you three months ago."
Sheridan had nearly forgotten about that day. "Don't worry about it." They had danced for four hours, just staring at each other without uttering another word. "Time is up." Sheridan responded regretfully. She broke free from him and decided to go to her cottage. Luis couldn't believe she had gotten away again. Theresa told him she was ready to go home and go to sleep. Luis didn't argue because he admitted that he was beat, too.
A new morning had dawned and Sheridan glanced outside. She saw that her mail had been delivered. A bouquet of daisies appeared with an invitation. “Meet me at the Seascape Restaurant, tonight at eight. Don't be late. Your secret admirer.” Sheridan beamed to herself. "Roberto needs to stop playing these games. I will tell him that tonight once I meet him at the Seascape restaurant." She laughed and shook her head.
Before getting dressed she went to see Ivy. "Hello Ivy. How are you?" She greeted Ivy with a hug. "I'm fine and you?" Ivy returned the favor. "I'm good." Sheridan's cheeks are glowing. "Sheridan, I haven't seen you this happy in years. Did it have something to do with Theresa's brother?" Ivy inspected. Sheridan glinted at Ivy wide-eyed. "No!!! That's preposterous!" She chuckled. " I love Roberto. Anyways, I'm going out for tonight, so we'll have to reschedule our plans for tomorrow, ok?" Sheridan told her. "All right, have fun and be safe." Ivy said in a motherly way. "I will." Sheridan rolled her eyes playfully. "Bye Ivy." She smiled. "Goodbye, Sheridan."
After Ivy closed the door. She had a soliloquy. "Whether Sheridan knows it or not, I believe Theresa's brother will have an impact on her life more than she realizes. She’d better make sure she circumspect her relationship with Roberto before she goes too far." Ivy sighed and went upstairs to make other plans.
Sheridan spent most of her day trying to figure out what to wear and how she wanted her hair and makeup. She had it all picked out and finally she was ready to jazz herself up.
Sheridan always looked beautiful, but this time she had outdone herself. Sheridan wore a Versace gown made of white silk trimmed with golden flowers all over. She looked like a fairytale princess. Her hair was layered with soft curls and her make-up suited her outfit superbly. She was all ready to go and was on her way to the Seascape restaurant.
She arrived there at eight o'clock sharp and she was anxious to see what Roberto had done this time. Sheridan saw the table and made her way there. She waited to see if he was there, but he hadn't shown up. It was fifteen after and she was ready to leave.
She sighed and got up. "Of all the nerve." She grumbled. "Going somewhere?" She shook when she heard his voice. She faced him. "You?" She was astonished by what she was seeing. "How?" Luis pulled her chair out for her, leaving her utterly confounded, and planned to keep her that way for the night. "You thought I had stood you up, didn't you?" He grinned slightly.
"You could say that." She said dryly, while taking a sip on some water. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Miss Crane." He curved his lips some more. "Same here. I . . . it's just something about you . . . It strikes me as a mystery." She is blushing a tad. "I hope not in a bad way, Miss Crane." ,he chuckled. "Sheridan, call me Sheridan." She assured him it was okay to be comfortable.
They had eaten dinner and danced the night away. After having so much fun, Luis walked her up to her cottage and gave her sweet peck on the cheek goodnight.
Meanwhile, Theresa was snooping in on him. He turned to her. "Hey sis, I thought I told you to stay out of my room.", he bantered. "Whatever.", she laughed. "So how did that date go?", she smiled slyly. "What date?", he blankly asked. "I know you weren’t with Beth. You were with Sheridan, weren’t you?", she suspected. "Is this really necessary? Theresa, I think you are imagining things.", he chuckled. "I don’t think so . . . Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald, I know you have the hots for Sheridan Crane. The look is in your eyes.", she said, and then walked away. He sighed and he saw Pilar standing in the doorway. He glanced at her nervously.
He wasn’t sure of how much she had heard, so he gave her a transitory smile. "Hey Mama, what’s up?" He kissed her cheek. "Did I hear Theresa, right?" She discerned something from him. "If I did, you’re playing with fire. Mijo, you are involved with Beth. If Beth suspects that you’re cheating on her it’ll devastate her." Pilar crossed her arms.
"Mama, I love Beth, she knows that . . . I’m not playing with fire. Theresa has always managed to get wild ideas popped into her head." He laughed nervously. "Besides, Sheridan is just a friend." He brushed it off. "Whatever you say, Mijo. Buenos noches." She kissed him good night on the cheek. "’Night Mama." He soughed and turned in.
"Theresa is right about one thing. I do like Sheridan Crane. A LOT!", he chuckled to himself and fell fast asleep.
Sheridan slipped into her peach nightgown and impetuously, she thought of that guy. "I actually thought it was Roberto who wanted to meet me." Sheridan got a strange feeling. "Is it possible that Roberto didn’t sent me those letters and flowers? No!! If he didn’t, he wouldn’t be loving me so much." Sheridan convinced herself. "Roberto is the only man for me and I love him. But the tall, dark, and handsome stranger is exhilarating. What is it about him that makes me find him attractive?" She queried. "It was a once in a lifetime thing . . . it’s not like I will see him again." Sheridan knew it was the end of her and this suave stranger. But was it really the end for her?
Ivy rolled her eyes after playing "fire" with Julian. As was the norm, Julian was in bed with one of his tramps. Ivy wanted to see Sheridan at her cottage. Sheridan opened the door. "Hey Ivy! How are you?" Sheridan hugged her with tenderness. "Just peachy." She sarcastically replied. "Let me guess? Julian is at it again?" Sheridan shook her head and started giggling. "Need I remind you?" Ivy joked again and tittered also. "Why so cheery?", Ivy asked, her curiosity risen.
"I had the most wonderful time of my life!" Sheridan exclaimed. "Really? So, Roberto was there?" Ivy asked, although she knew that it wasn’t Roberto who had put that gleam on her face. It was Theresa’s brother. "Um . . . well. Ivy, you can’t tell Father or Julian. But I met with a stranger and he is so nice . . ." She sighed sweetly. "Sheridan, you went to have dinner with a complete stranger?" Ivy posed dryly.
"Ivy, he’s so charismatic. There’s something about him that I can’t ignore." She cracked an innocent smile. Ivy knew she shouldn’t say it, since she wasn’t one to talk. "If you are playing with fire, Sheridan. Please be careful." Ivy warned her. "I will. But it was only a one-time thing. It won’t happen again. Roberto is the only one for me. So don’t worry." Sheridan assured her. "If that’s what you believe." Ivy poured herself a glass of water. "Of course, that is what I believe." Sheridan made certain of herself of what was to be conceivable. "When Roberto come home, I will give him all of my love. I love him, Ivy." Sheridan claimed. "Well, if you need anything, Sheridan, anything, please let me know." Ivy exchanged a grin and showed herself out the door.
Beth knocked on the door and Luis managed to get it. "Beth, hey, how are you?" He kissed her, but Beth turned her cheek. "Luis, how come you didn’t call me?" Beth folded her arms. "Beth . . . I apologize for not calling you. I got caught up with some work. And I didn’t mean to forget." He shrugged and closed the door. "Are you free for tonight?" Beth wondered. "Free? No, I’m not . . . I have to work again.” “I’m sorry Beth. I won’t be off in two weeks. So maybe, I’ll get with you then." He tried to make it easy. Beth didn’t say much. She kissed him goodbye and shut the door after herself. Luis soughed and felt bad. "Damn, I never wanted to hurt her. I’ll make it up to her. But my date with Sheridan was wonderful. I know she’s thinking about me." He conversed with himself.
While entering the kitchen, he saw Pilar. "Mama, I didn’t know you were here?" Luis found it odd for her to be here at this hour. "Are you on your day off?" He had to make it smooth. "Luis, we need to discuss Beth." Pilar pulled out a seat and sat down. "Mama, I just saw her . . ." Luis open the refrigerator to get some orange juice. "Luis, you were supposed to celebrate her birthday with her." Luis dropped his glass. "Yesterday was her birthday?" He cursed under his breath once he remembered. "Luis, how could you forget your own girlfriend’s birthday?" Pilar stared at him bizarrely. "Mama, I . . .I don’t know! I was busy!" He calmed back down because he knew his mother wasn’t going to take it from him. "Sorry, Mama. I didn’t mean to yell. I . . . don’t understand why she didn’t tell me." He scratched his head.
"Luis, a girl isn’t supposed to remind you that it’s her birthday. You must keep that in mind." Pilar admonished him. "I will make it up to her. I promise. I’ve got to work day and night two weeks straight." He sighed. "I’ll try to ask Sam if I can have a day off so I can make it up to her." He almost slipped by saying another day off. He really didn’t want his mother to know that he’d been with Sheridan Crane. He was anticipating seeing her again and he wouldn’t stop until he accomplished his goal. He was eager to get to Sheridan even if it meant risking his relationship with Beth. Not to say that Beth was boring him. Instead he was losing interest with her because he thought that Sheridan was the "one" for him.
Theresa made it to the Crane Mansion but Ivy asked her to go to Sheridan’s cottage because Ivy would be out of town and there wasn’t much for her to do. Sheridan wanted Theresa to help her out with a dress for a children’s benefit. Theresa tapped on the door. Sheridan smiled after answering it. "Theresa, come in. I’m so glad you’ve come. I need your help to pick out a dress for the children’s benefit. “How are you?" Sheridan invited her in. "I’m good. Sheridan, how are you?" Theresa gleamed. "I’m fabulous. I’m going to get the dresses and if Roberto calls or comes by please let him in.", Sheridan replied, and then briefly went into her room.
Theresa looked confused. "That’s right, she is going with Roberto. I can’t seem to remember his face." She chuckled. She heard the door and walked over to it to see who it was. "You must be Roberto?" Theresa quizzed. "Yes, I am . . . is Sheridan around?" He beamed. "Yes, she is. Come on in. She’s in the room, so you’ll have to wait until she comes out." Roberto smiled at her. "You are Mrs. Crane’s assistant, aren’t you?" He cocked a brow. "Yes, I am . . ." Theresa replied quickly. Sheridan came out and ran into Roberto’s arms. "Roberto! You’re home! I’ve missed you so much! Come here you!" She kissed him fervently. Theresa turned away with embarrassment. "Sorry . . ." Sheridan blushed. "Roberto honey, can you wait for us? We’ll be in my room, so make yourself comfortable." She beamed and brushed her lips on his once more.
Theresa curiously stared at the dresses. "That one!" Theresa spotted out the sky blue dress. "That will look nice on you." She continued. "You think so?" Sheridan pressed the dress on her and took a glimpse in her mirror. "I’m positive. It’ll be the talk of the night. Trust me!" Theresa was sure of it. "So . . . how long have you and Roberto been going with each other?" Theresa asked out of the blue. "Nearly two years now. Theresa, why the interrogation?" Sheridan went into the bathroom to try it on. "I apologize, Sheridan. It’s just he seems to make you happy." Theresa hunched her shoulders and her hands cupped her face.
"Yes, we are happy. Theresa. Love will come your way if that’s what you’re implying." Sheridan concluded. "Oh, sorry. I didn’t mean to make it sound like I was implying. I just hope you’ll have fun tonight." Theresa wished Sheridan well and didn’t hesitate to leave. Sheridan was ready for the benefit and Roberto was all dressed up to take her out later after the charity event.
Beth and Luis went to the park to make up for her birthday. They talked about everything for hours. Luis stared into Beth’s eyes and remembered the innocence that he adulated. He ran his fingers through her hair and kissed her. He closed his eyes and he thought of Sheridan. He wanted to see her again! But how? What would he do this time to get Sheridan’s attention?
Sheridan told him that she would go back to her cottage alone. Luis didn’t debate it. He touched her cheek tenderly. She felt her cheeks burning again and it was a good feeling, she supposed. "Until we meet again, sweet lady." Luis promised her and disappeared. Sheridan didn’t think anything of it. "Whatever that means." She whispered to herself and entered her cottage. Roberto was in her bedroom waiting for her. "Hey, how was your day?" He sat up on her bed. "It was nice. Yours?" She took off her coat. "My day was terrible, without you." He pulled her into his lap and kissed her. "Ooh, Roberto . . . you are so sweet." Sheridan indulged herself with his kiss and savored the moment once again. Luis walked home with a goofy smile on his face as Miguel caught him off guard. "What’s with the stupid smile, big brother?"
"Miguel. I didn’t see you there." He replied with surprise. "Beth called. She said she needed to talk to you. It’s important." Miguel went to his room still laughing at Luis’s blank expression.
"Damn, I have to call Beth. What could she want?" He was a bit irritated but made the call anyway. "Hey Beth, what’s up?" He tried to sound patient. "Luis, I’d rather wait until you come over. It’s serious and it can’t wait." She sounded upset. "I’m on my way." He replied calmly and hung up. He got over to her house immediately.
Beth let him in and they sat down. "Luis, I’ve noticed you’ve been distant lately. Is everything all right with you?" She queried. "Yea, everything is fine. Just under a lot of stress from work.. If you want more attention, Beth all you have to do is ask." He grinned roguishly. "Is that so?" She sheepishly beamed. "Yea, is it." He brushed his lips on hers and his hands begin to travel all over her body.
"Luis, you think you’re off the hook. You don’t get off that easily." Beth teased. "I know I am. Give me another minute or two." He got on top of her. "Luis, let’s take it to my room. All right?" She smiled and unbuttoned his shirt slightly. "You got it." He got up and carried her in his arms. He kicked the door open and placed her on the bed. He managed to lock the door and he rushed over to her. Simply, taking his time with her and removing her garment with no complications. "Luis, I love you so much." She whispered. "I love you, too." He looked into her eyes and he slowly let himself into her. He let out a guttural groan as he buried himself deep in her. Penetrating sweetly as her soft folds squeezed on his shaft.
Luis didn’t stop himself when he inadvertently thought about Sheridan. He wondered what it would be like to make love to her. Making her moan loudly and quenching her desire. He thought about how lovely it would be once they united. The only problem was that he was with Beth. Yet he doesn’t know that Sheridan was with Roberto. When would it be Luis’s turn, to step in and be Sheridan’s hero?
Sheridan sat in the park contemplating the time she shared with that mysterious stranger. She longed to see him again. Little did she know, he was standing there right in front of her. She looked up. "It’s you.", she smiled, "Sit." She boldly added. "Hi, I didn’t think I would see you sitting around here?" He smirked. "Are you up for some ice cream?" He suggested. "Not really. What is it about you that is so intriguing? Why is it that every time I turn around, you’re there?" Sheridan interrogated. "Are you stalking me?" She was slightly annoyed. "No, ma’am. It’s all by coincidence. I swear." He gazed at her sincerely. Sheridan’s eyes softened somewhat, but she was not convinced entirely.
"So, what’s on your mind?" Luis intervened with questioning. Sheridan wasn’t up for answering. Luis decided to try again. "Are you free for tonight?" He couldn’t keep it inside any longer. "Me… free? Well . . ." She paused. "Please, don’t say "no"? I know you really don’t have plans." He looked through her eyes. "Why would you assume that?!" Sheridan narrowed her eyes. "I can tell by the look in your eyes, and don’t tell me you do, your expression is a dead giveaway." He hit it right on the mark. "You’re right, I don’t have any plans. And I want you to come to my cottage. It’s chilly out here and we need to get warm." She smiled.
Luis followed Sheridan. "Nice place you have here." He examined it and placed his eyes back on hers. "Thank you." Sheridan took off her coat and went into the kitchen to make some hot chocolate. Luis took a brief glance at a picture with her and Roberto. "Creep." He mumbled. Then he thought about Beth. He loved Beth but he was far more interested in a girl who he barely knew. Luis pranced around her cottage and he snooped in her bedroom. He saw how she still kept each and every one of his presents that he had sent to her. Luis heard her coming and he quickly sat on her couch. "Here you go." She said, coming in. "Thanks." He took the cup from her easily and took a sip. But sipping on that cup of cocoa was not the only thing he wanted to do!.
He set his cup down. Luis forced Sheridan to put down her cup as well. They looked into each other’s eyes and didn’t stop the flow. Luis had to go with the urge to kiss her. He finally kissed her on the cheek. He didn’t want to move too fast. He didn’t want Sheridan to think that he was some jerk. Sheridan liked the kiss on the cheek. It was sweet and endearing. But her body wanted more. Luis wanted to tell her that he was the one who had sent her all of those presents. But he didn’t want to ruin the moment. Sheridan returned a kiss back on his cheek. He smiled and touched her face tenderly. "I wish you could get to know me. There’s so much . . ." He stopped himself and grabbed his coat. "Don’t go. I’m so lonely and my boyfriend has been away for a long time." But Sheridan didn’t even care about Roberto anymore.
Luis’s eyes lit up with astonishment. He took charge and kissed her on the lips. "Make love to me . . ." She moaned. Luis stared at her blankly. Was she nuts?! She didn’t even know this man and she was begging him to make love to her! But Luis didn’t hesitate and he made sure he was going to get next to her. He longed for her to think about him not Roberto. "My beautiful one. Are you sure?" He touched her lips fervently. She nodded and gave in. Luis gallantly carried Sheridan to her room. He locked the door and started stripping off her clothes. This is what he had dreamed of. Making love to her and it’s finally coming true.
Luis seized the moment with great advantage. Sheridan ripped his clothes off and her eyes went into the back of her head as he controlled the motion of placing his hardness into her sweetness. "More . . ." She moaned. Her perfume drove him insane. He didn’t give a damn that she was a Crane. All he wanted was her. He didn’t really care about Beth at the moment. She’d be on his worry list later. Sheridan was all he ever wanted. He obliged her with seduction and caressed her body fervently. Seeing her breasts swelling for him. His lips invited them with a sweet kiss. He sucked on them with delight. Sheridan tugged on his hair. He kept grooving on her and she cried softly. This man was making her feel good!
Luis kept pumping on her as she let her hips undulate with his. She yearned and ached for his body and she got what she desired. She let out her sweet seductive sighs and let him sweep her off of her feet. Luis knew it was wrong to cheat on his girlfriend but Sheridan pleaded for his touch. He had to grant this woman’s wish. What’s a man to do? Luis moaned for her as she kissed every part of his body. She rode on top of him, making him crave for more. Luis’s hands coaxed her and after granting each other’s appetites, they fell asleep in each other’s arms.
Sheridan opened her eyes and started smiling. "You’re still here?" She smiled. "Yes, I’m still here. Do you want me to leave?" He beamed back. Sheridan held up her hand, dismissed what he’d said. "Not at all." She finally answered. He curved his lips even more. "When will I see you again?" He persisted. "You would want to see me again? Oh, wow, I feel flattered." She blushed. "You should . . . say you want to see me again?" He cocked a brow.
"I . . . want to see you again." She finally stated. "Good . . ." He received a phone call from his cell phone. "I have to go. I’m due back to work. See you tonight . . . same time, same place." After he dressed up, he left. Sheridan didn’t even get his name. "Damn, I was about to ask for his name. Who is this charismatic stranger?" She queried.
Beth went to see how Luis was doing. Luis was working at his desk, trying to get some paper work done. Beth stood there for five minutes and Luis finally looked up. "Hey Beth. I didn’t see you there . . . how may I help you?" He wryly replied. "Luis, we need to talk." Beth crossed her arms. Luis immediately knew he is in trouble. "Beth . . . I . . . can explain. I was caught up with work and I needed to get it done." Beth intervened and kissed him affectionately. Luis felt guilty for cheating on Beth. His heart inclined for Sheridan. He yearned for her so much. He couldn’t get enough of her. He was constantly pursuing to get her to go with him. "Luis, are we going to do something special?" Beth pressed on. "I don’t know, Beth . . ." He seemed indecisive. "Luis, I’m not so bad . . . after all . . . you owe me." Beth reminded him. "I sure do." He responded dryly, hating to remember that he did. "But not tonight, tomorrow. I swear . . . Beth, you will have all the attention you deserve." He assured her. "How long will that be, Luis? You know, if you don’t want to spend time with me anymore, just say it!" She was obviously upset. Luis took her in his arms. "Beth, baby, you’ve got to calm down. It’s not what it looks like, okay? I want us to spend time tomorrow. It’s just . . . my mother told me, her money is running a little tight and she tries to fit in as many hours as she can. The doctor told her, she is suffering from exhaustion." Luis griped.
"Oh, I’m sorry, Luis. I didn’t mean to sound like an insensitive bitch." She felt bad. Luis hushed her with his finger. "Shh. . . Don’t worry about it. You aren’t at fault. Things happen." He chuckled, trying to lighten Beth up. "You’re right . . . Luis, I’ll see you tomorrow night, then." Beth sighed apologetically. Luis hated doing this to Beth. But he wanted to see Sheridan again. For some reason, he couldn’t seem to contain himself. He needed her to quench his desire. Luis had a high school boy’s grin on his face. Sam startled Luis with his smooth voice that usually didn’t boom until now. "Luis, what’s got you in a daze?" Sam snickered. "Ha-ha. Very funny, Sam. I’m just thinking about good things." He shrugged nonchalantly.
"Sure . . . you are . . . you’re thinking about Beth." Sam shook his head and sat at his desk. Luis’s smile disappeared. Why does it always have to be Beth? I’m thinking about my precious, Sheridan Crane. Boy! She’s one fantastic lover! Dirty thoughts transpired into his mind. Not that percolating is a bad thing, something inside Luis made him crave for Miss Sheridan Crane. What could it be? Her charisma? Being sexy? Luis loved that about her. Although, his killer smile proved something else to other people which they misconceived entirely. Luis heaved a sigh and wandered from his desk to go home. He’s opted to call it a day, because tonight, Sheridan was going to be all his. Luis whistled and started up his car.
At home, Theresa fixed dinner because Pilar instructed her to. Theresa gave Luis a big hug and he smiled somewhat. "Hey sis, what’s cooking?" He snorted. “You think you are so funny, don’t you, Luis?" She sarcastically said. He couldn’t help but laugh. "Theresa, it’ll be okay, really? You just gotta believe. I apologize, but I’ve got to call it a night. I have somewhere I have to be . Take care . . . you and Miguel both. Love ya." He kissed her cheek and left her puzzled. "Luis, is going to see her, again." Theresa could tell by the goofy look on his face. "Good luck, big brother, you’re going to need it more than I do." She giggled. Luis went to his to take a shower. After his sweet indulgence of his shower, he went to his closet to take out his new suit. Sheridan would appreciate tonight because Luis has something in mind for her that could change everything.
Sheridan was nervous and couldn’t stand it anymore. Long after her getting dressed to look perfect for her mystery man, she could not stop to think that Roberto would call. He told her that he’d be in the morning. Sheridan was a little relieved that he wasn’t coming back until then. Nothing could spoil their fun. Luis arrived there in time and Sheridan noticed something that struck her kind of bizarrely. Luis gave her a dozen of roses which had a card. She’d seen them before . . . but where? Why did they have such familiarity about them that soothed her? She inhaled the seducing scent and placed them on her counter. She smiled and was ready to enjoy their secret rendezvous. Luis was in total awe, every time he gazes at her. Sheridan knew how to turn this hot blooded Latin on. Make his blood boil with a prescribed passion that couldn’t be accommodated.
Sheridan and Luis traded looks with compassion, and they knew what they wanted to do. Luis and Sheridan went to the Seascape restaurant again. This time, the area was reserved. They wanted some privacy. Sheridan and Luis talked about their significant others. This was the first time they had ever mentioned it. Sheridan couldn’t take it any more after talking about their lovers. She had to know his name. "I’ve been seeing you and now laying with you all this time and I don’t know your name." She flustered slightly. A quirky look showed upon his face.
"You are very astute, Miss Crane." He couldn’t ignore it and pulled her closer. "Are you going to tell me your name or not?" She persisted. "All right, I give." He snickered. "My name’s Luis." He surrendered. "Luis . . . I love your name." She said in a dreamy voice. "My name . . ." Luis stopped her before she went any further. "I already know who you are . . ." He intrigued her with his eyes. When his eyes locked onto hers, she got this tingling sensation and she felt that they had met, but where? She wondered how did he know her? It wasn’t possible. Surely they had met a couple of times, but nevertheless, she hadn’t mentioned her name. Which appealed to her as cryptic. Should she be aware of him or still keep an intimate relation with him?
Luis knew that Sheridan’s curious blue eyes found it astonishing of how he knew her but he wanted her to figure it out. Luis romanced her on the dance floor. Sheridan felt secure in his arms. He was holding her like his Spanish guitar. Sheridan never wanted to let this man go. He was so right for her, yet, she was with Roberto. Roberto was nice and all but he was nothing like Luis. Luis leaned over to kiss her passionately. Sheridan melted with his savored kisses he had burned to give to her. Sheridan was the woman for him. Sooner or later, he had to tell Beth the truth. When? How? All he knew was when he was with Sheridan, he knew what to do, everything made sense to him, finally. Once he told Beth the truth, he must do what he had to. He wanted to get Sheridan and have her for eternity. No more anticipating. Sheridan would be his to claim.
Sheridan studied his face and noticed how everything was perfect about him. From his chisled jaw line to his strong, muscular body. His hazel eyes swept her into ecstasy. His smile, oh yes, his smile. So exhilarating and captured any girl’s heart. Luis was suave and knew how to make it right. Sheridan and Luis chose to skip everything else to go back to her cottage.
Tonight was the last night, they would ever see each other. Luis gallantly picked her up and walked into hr room. They made a way to get what they want. As he penetrated through her, she screamed for more and he did just that. Luis touched her in so many ways. He intimately made her cry for his warm caress and tenderness. Speaking in tongues with each other all night long. spellbound of each other, so addicting and thrilling. Luis knew for sure he had a hold of her now and forever.
She didn’t like him scolding her. "What kind of question is that?! It’s absurd?!" She roared. "Is it?! Sheridan, I’m not so convinced that you aren’t enjoying this! I can’t conceal the fact that this secret admirer has the hots for you!" He exasperated. "And you have the hots for him!" He dropped his arms to his sides. "Roberto, it seems like we can’t agree to anything anymore. Maybe it’s best if you and I aren’t together. I think it’s over between us, Roberto. I don’t want to see you again. Goodbye." She pushed him out of the door and never looked at him again. "Luis, what have you done to me?" She was mesmerized by Luis’s suave demeanor.
He had taken her over in ways Sheridan couldn’t even describe. On the contrary, there was no way she could be coherent about the way she felt about Luis. He made her feel whole and she knew that from the moment they first met.
Luis and Beth were at her house discussing the future. Beth went on rambling about how perfect their lives were going to be, although, Luis perceived it differently. He didn’t picture himself with Beth, but with Sheridan instead. Luis was at the zenith of his life where he was certain, not tentative of who he wanted to be with. He wanted to tenaciously grasp onto Sheridan for eternity. He knew that they were compatible in every way. He refused to be quixotic of this situation. He was seeing what was right in front of him. "Beth, I want you to take heed to what I’m saying, because this will be best for the both of us. I appreciate you being staunch in everything I do. I admire your charisma. It’s time for us to go out separate ways. I’m not trying to circumvent any situation nor am I hurting you intentionally."
Beth’s eyes begin to well up with agony. "I’m not trying to hurt you, Beth. I just think this is best. It’s happening to us inadvertently. I’m in love with someone else . . ." He didn’t want to make it look like he was all bravado because he wasn’t. He had the courage to tell her the truth. "It’s over between us?" Beth tried not to go into a rampage. She was so distraught and filled with rancor. She couldn’t even comprehend what was going on. She felt nothing but disparity and she wasn’t going to get into any discords with him. Luis was his own man and yes, he was adamant once he made his choice. She figured what he was doing was for the best.
She turned to him and kissed his cheek goodbye. Not knowing what to do afterwards, Luis felt somewhat guilty for torturing her the way that he did a while back. Now, he was ecstatic that he could move on with his life and hoped that Beth would do the same. He had the urge to visit sweet Sheridan.
Sheridan was about to take a walk in the park. Luis stopped her in the gazebo. "Hey precious, where are you going?" He smoothly remarked. "I was about to go for a walk. Oh Luis! I’m so happy that you are here with me! Don’t ever let me go!" She held onto him tenaciously and breathed out with sweetness. Given into the light of what’s standing before her. The two destined souls finally congregated without anyone trying to break them apart.
Seven months later, Luis and Sheridan were in marital bliss. They were celebrating that they were going to have their first child. Luis was thrilled to be a father and wasn’t about to let this opportunity go. Sheridan walked up to him and obliged him with tenderness. "Hey handsome. What’s my favorite man doing?" She kissed his earlobe with a hint of endearment. "Nothing much, precious. I am prepared to share everything with you. Are you glad that I am in your life?" He smiled and pressed his lips on hers. "Yes, Luis . . . I am. I sincerely believe that fate has worked its way just to get us to unite." Sheridan confirmed. "I believe so, too. I knew you were going to be my wife from the moment that we have met." Luis said while staring into her eyes with love.
"Really? I knew there was something about you, too. Of course, you were a stranger to me. But I had the notion that you were going to be the one for me." She confessed. "You knew I was the one for you? Sheridan, how come you didn’t say anything before?" He beamed again. "If I told you none of this would have come true. Don’t want to ruin surprises, now do we?" She wrapped her arms around his neck and he embraced her with his innocent kisses. He adored her so much and yearned to be with her forever. Nothing could tear them apart. They were crazy about each other, and they stuck like crazy glue. Luis went after his heart and finally got what he deserved.
Sheridan stared at him with astonishment and thought about never letting him go. He was finally hers! No more searching for what seemed to be love or trying to explore it through others, which would not be right for her. Luis was the man of her dreams. It was like a fantasy, except it was real. "So Lopez-Fitzgerald, do you believe it’ll be a boy or a girl?" She put him to the test. "What if I want it to be both?" He hinted with a subtle kiss. "Not such a bad bargain, my fair Luis." She romanced him with her touch as he coaxed her with his bedroom eyes. They were in the mood to make love again and no one would interrupt them of a moment they would always cherish.
Sheridan laid there in Luis’s arms, feeling secure and making sure this was not some dream. She glanced at his hazel eyes and caressed them with hers. Luis knew what it meant. He loved everything about her. "Sheridan, I know now, that I didn’t make a mistake by sending you all those gifts. I was trying to get your attention so badly and I hoped it would worked." He sounded hopeful. "Well, you’ve succeeded. Because you have stolen my heart all the way! It is like you have a solution to everything, my darling." She rubbed his hard chest. "Not everything." He joked while stroking her hair gently. "Whatever! You know you’ve indulged yourself a million times over. And don’t you try to deny it, Luis!" She chuckled.
"What?" He looked at her blankly. "I’m not trying to be bad. I wanna be good. Can you ever find it in your heart to forgive me?" He touched her nose with his index finger. "Yes, I can, my beloved. Luis, why did you want to grab my attention?" She wanted to hear it again. "Sheridan, shame on you." He bantered. "I couldn’t get you out of my mind. I couldn’t let you slip away. I didn’t want to be nonchalant either, by accepting the way things are. Even though, you and I were involved with significant others, fate has found its way to make sure we end up together. I don’t have any doubts and I never will. What about you?" He rubbed her arm lightly. "Never in a million of years, sweetheart. I’m glad you have captured my heart or I would have missed out on an opportunity of what true love is all about." She admitted.
"Oh, really? How about if I show you again?" He requested. "You sure can." She pulled him into a graze and never want to stop. She tried to ignore the desire burning inside her. It was no use. Luis makes her feel vivacious. "Precious, what are you contemplating about?" Luis wanted to know what’s going on with her. "Us and our sweet baby. Luis, this is only the beginning of our lives. Get ready, because we’re in for one odyssey." She kissed his chest. "I sure hope so." He laughed along with her.
Three years later, Sheridan and Luis shared two kids and were stronger than ever. Who would ever have known a secret admirer would captivate her the way that he did. Who ever knew that this secret admirer would end up marrying her? He did. He knew from the start, this woman was special and he didn’t want to miss out on a chance to get to know the most venerable woman on Earth. Her beauty shone through her immensely. Luis loved everything about her and that he would always cherish. The moment he walked into her life, her secret admirer not only flattered her but he also gave her love the most precious gift all. The eternal flame of passion they shared with each other is conducive to an everlasting love for all eternity.
