This section of our Passions page is about our opinions. Keep in mind that these are only our opinions - so if you are the type of person who is easily offended by the ideas of others, we suggest that you leave. Understand that you may not be in total agreement with us, and we don't expect you to be. This is just a place were we can voice our opinions about Passions - good and bad (while most of them are very sarcastic!) We do hope you enjoy reading these however. And if you'd like to submit your own opinions just fill out the opinion form in the Visitors Opinions section and we will add them to our site, but DO NOT waste our time and tell us how mean and insensitive we are. We really don't care to hear it. Everyone knows that people rightfully have their own opinions, and everyone WILL NOT be our fault. If you can't handle our opinions simply leave. Mandy's Opinions

Charity/Miguel/Kay

Ok, I think this storyline is a little tiresome. I can’t stand Charity! She is sooo…blah. I actually like Kay, and I normally don’t like the evil characters. I think Kay and Miguel should get it on, in front of Charity’s virgin eyes! Now that would be entertainment! I am so annoyed with Charity’s stupid premonitions and her “feelings” of evil. Just shut the heck up already, ok? I personally liked Charity while she was evil – she actually had a personality then!! Miguel is a pretty cool character, and he is rather cute too. I miss the old Kay, but I like this new replacement. I didn’t really like the one that replaced the original Kay first though. I think this new new one will do a good job. I think this storyline will get better, especially with the Hecuba and Kay stuff. I don’t really like the witch stuff on the show, but Hecuba is ok.


Timmy/Tabitha/Hecuba

…Which brings me to the gruesome twosome…Timmy and Tabby. I really though this was a lame storyline when I started watching. I really don’t like witchcraft and stuff, and I heard that they only put this in as to tempt the younger audience because the occult is popular among young people (so it was only a demographic thing) but I guess it is ok. It is growing on me some. Hecuba kinda makes it interesting too. But I get sick of how Timmy speaks in third person all of the time! Give that boy some speech lessons, please!

Sam/Ivy/Grace/Ethan/Julian

This Sam being the father of Ethan Crane thing is interesting. I think this will give the whole show a good twist, especially the Ethan/Gwen/Theresa stuff. I think Ivy trying to go after Sam is funny. I hope Grace gets hurt – I hate Grace! She is soooo annoying and has no personality. She and Charity need to be killed off. It’s not the fact that they are “good”…it’s just that the show tries to make it seem that the good people are boring. They shouldn’t be boring! They should have more dimensions to their characters. But I seriously don’t think they could help Grace. She is so annoying. I wonder if Julian will ever find out Ivy’s secret? I hope so, maybe that would help get the ball rolling with Ethan and Theresa! I personally like to watch Julian and Ivy bicker. Julian brings a lot of comic relief to the show. Overall I like this storyline.

Eve/Julian/TC/Chad

I wonder if Eve is Chad’s mom…and if Julian is the father? That would be interesting…especially because something is going to happen between Chad and Whitney sometime soon. I always thought it was funny when Julian would come on to Eve. He is so gross! Eve used to have some monster bangs, but I think they tamed them down some – which is good. TC is kinda annoying. I wonder how he feels to be married to a doctor while he is just a coach? Oh well, at least he is a modern man! I wonder if Chad and Eve will become closer since he saved her life?

Whitney/Chad/Simone

I find this triangle rather amusing, especially since Chad might be Simone and Whitney’s brother!! How would they turn off their feelings for each other? I wonder if there would be some incest action going on there. I used to hate Chad and his “street smart” attitude, but now I like his character. I think he is interesting. And I feel bad for Simone because you know that Whitney and Chad will end up together – up until they find out they are siblings! Chad and Whitney would make a cute couple though. And the actress who plays Whitney is sooo pretty! She should eat a bit though, she is really skinny!

Ethan/Theresa/Gwen

I miss the old Gwen, but I do like the new Gwen too. I think the people who work for the casting department of Passions always does a pretty good job. I think Theresa is too melodramatic – crying at everything. But I really hope she and Ethan end up together! They deserve each other so bad. Gwen should hook up with someone else…I don’t know who though. Maybe Ian, the other Bennett? Hehe...that would be interesting. I wonder if this storyline will go downhill once Ethan and Theresa are married? I think Gwen and Rebecca should always try to cause problems for Ethan and Theresa so the storyline never goes stale. And it will be cool with they find out that Ethan is a Bennett. That will probably drive Gwen away, and then Theresa and Ethan can be happy together!

Luis/Sheridan

These two are meant to be together. It will be nice when they work out all of these things so they can be together. They have been through way too much! It is almost annoying that so many things have kept them apart. They better get together within a few months or I am going to be pissed. Do you notice how Luis always is doing something that requires him to take off his shirt – like playing basketball! Hehe…I don’t mind though!

General Opinions

When I first starting watching Passions I thought it was okay. I only started watching it because it was new and on the same channel as Days of Our Lives. Since days has been horrible lately I have started to watch Passions more and more. Now I think that it is better than Days! The Tabitha/Timmy stuff was a little hard to get past at first, but there are many great things on the show if you look beyond that. Even now though, the Tabitha/Timmy/Hecuba stuff is a little strange, but it is entertaining.

Theresa/Ethan/Gwen

Ethan and Theresa have been my favorite since the beginning and were probably the reason why I watched Passions. I am so glad that Ethan finally came to a decision and proposed to Theresa. This is all Theresa has ever wanted and I am glad that her dream is starting to come true. I am also happy that Ethan is different than the rest of the Cranes. He went with his heart for a decision instead of his family and chose his true love. Gwen does not deserve Ethan anyway. I am sure that she loves, but a lot of that has to do with his wealth and power. If that was all taken away from him I doubt she would want anything to do with him. Theresa on the other hand will love him unconditionally. I can’t wait to see what is ahead for these two! I just hope they are happy for a little while anyway.

Luis/Sheridan

I like both of these characters and I think they make a great couple. I kind of feel bad for Hank though because he is in love with Sheridan. I hope that he can find someone to love now that Sheridan and Luis will be together. Luis kind of bothers me sometimes though. He needs to stay out of Theresa’s life. He has no right to tell her she should not be involved with a Crane, especially since he is!

Kay/Miguel/Charity

I think Miguel and Charity are one of the worst couples on the show. I like Miguel, and for some reason I like Kay. I really do not like Charity though. She is too goody goody for me and always has these stupid happy expressions on her face. Can anyone really be that sweet!? I think she is more interesting when she becomes evil Charity. Maybe Tabitha or Hecuba will turn her back soon, but we can only hope! I do like Miguel though, but I think his character is kind of underdeveloped. I mean he is just kind of there in between the Kay and Charity storylines. He needs to get a little story of his own. I also like Kay even though she is kind of on the evil side. I really do believe she loves Miguel and would do anything for him. I really wish she wouldn’t have sold her soul to get Miguel though. No one is worth that! Hopefully she will get it back soon. Kay and Miguel are the couple who should be together. They just need to figure out a way to get rid of Charity. Something is wrong with a couple when I am choosing the evil one to win Miguel!!!

Julian/Rebecca

These are probably the most selfish people that I have ever seen in my life. All the really care about is wealth and power. Rebecca is snooty and slutty and Julian is the same. They are so much alike they would be the perfect couple. I am just glad that their plan to break up Ethan and Theresa has not been successful yet.

Grace/Sam/Ivy

I kind of feel bad for Ivy and the situation she has put herself in. It is her fault though and she is definitely paying the price now. She should have listen to her heart years ago and went with Sam instead of marrying for money. Now after all of this time, she is trying to right her mistake. I think everyone deserves a second chance, but I think she is too late. Sam is happily married to Grace and it would be wrong to break up a marriage. If Sam were not married I would say go for it, but he is happy and all she would do is cause pain for Grace, Sam, and their family. I am not really a fan of Grace and Sam or Ivy and Sam so it really wouldn’t make a difference who they ended up with. I really do feel Sam should stick with his family though!

Tabitha/Timmy

This is probably one the strangest storylines I have ever seen in daytime. It was really stupid at first, but I am getting used to it. It will never be my favorite part of the show, but for some reason it seems to fit on Passions.

Whitney/Chad/Simone

I really hope that Chad does not turn out to be Whitney and Simone’s brother for everyone’s sake. I really do not think he is, but I could be wrong. There might be a time for a while where everyone thinks Chad is Julian and Eve’s son, which will cause Chad and Whitney’s relationship to end. After awhile of them being a part they will find out that he is not Eve’s son. If Chad and Whitney start a relationship I think Simone will become a schemer like Kay and try to steal him away from her sister.
