Alias: "A Clean Conscience"
Jack is dying!  Noooo!  Okay, so Sophia (the woman who raised Nadia and claimed to have seen Vaughn's father bringing Nadia to the orphanage when Nadia was just a baby) shows up in LA, all beat up and stuff.  I was excited about this because I was really hoping that someone would discuss the fact that Vaughn's father was connected to Nadia, but no one did.  Turns out that Sophia is actually Yelena Derevko, the missing third Derevko sister, and she's seriously evil.  No one but the audience knows this, though.  Weiss was hardly in the ep, if at all, and once again, Vaughn and Nadia had zero interaction.  This is getting ridiculous.  Oh, and nobody actually told us anything that juicy this ep.  That's next week, apparently.  OH!  Squick alert!  Sydney must impersonate her mother in an elaborate hypnotism to get some important information out of Jack.  Not enough eww in the world.  I can't even think about that.

Alias: "Another Mister Sloane"
Okay.  Clearly, Sloane is Teh Evol.  Clearly.  Well, aside from it being a really interesting episode, what with the creepy Pseudo Sloane and all, there really wasn't much there.  The good news is that when they were all about to ambush the bad guys, Nadia and Vaughn were standing next to each other.  Of course, they were all about to be shot by the bad guys around the corner, but I think she whispered "Vaughn," and that's damn well good enough for me.  Yes, I am THAT sad.  Next week: Tell all!  Riiight...

4/13/05
Alias: "Pandora"
Okay, so Vaughn goes all rogue to find out about his father, and even though he learns that his father is actually dead and has been dead all this time and it was all a setup, he shoots Dixon in the process.  Ohnoes!  Anyway, I am frustrated because there seems to be no breaking Syd/Vaughn up anytime soon, if ever.  They're stubbornly holding on to that stagnant relationship, it seems.  So, once again, Vaughn and Nadia were never even in the same room.  Hey, at least Sydney and Weiss had a conversation alone.  Weiss knew that Sydney was really worried about something because of the way she was cleaning the sink.  Cute!  I swear, JJ Abrams had an opportunity to develop this pair way back in season three when she was single and he was single, and he missed the boat completely.  Ugh.  Still waiting for more development on the connection between Vaughn and Nadia.
