The O.C. episode "The Return of the Nana" was postponed due to Presidential address.  Will air next Thursday before another new episode of The O.C.
ER:
"Ruby Redux"
My heavens.  Carter and Abby actually talk.  Abby has serious concerns about a patient who has a history with Carter, and she wants him to talk to the guy.  Carter refuses, not wanting to get into the past with the guy, and Abby is frustrated because the patient won't listen to her, and neither will the head of cardiology and the chief of surgery.  She needs Carter's help to stop the patient from getting a dangerous surgery, and she won't leave him alone about it.  In the end, after Carter talks about the mistake he made in the past that resulted in the man's wife's death, he goes to see the guy and tells him the truth about the risks of the surgery.  It was nice to see Carter and Abby interacting, and even though they were at odds, you can still see the vestiges of the relationship that once was.  Once, they trusted and loved each other.  It made me very sad.  It also made Jake seem that much more irritating.

Smallville: "Blank"
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!  This was actually a pretty good episode despite the silly premise.  Clark loses his memories, and it's up to Chloe to run interference for him and his powers.  Watching Chloe explain Clark's powers to him and try to keep everyone else from finding out was very interesting.  Chloe is very, very cool.  There, I said it.  Lois was funny, as usual, and Amnesia!Clark can tell that they don't really get along.  Never you mind the obvious sexual tension there, Clark.  Anyway, Amnesia!Clark falls in love with Lana all over again, and asks her why it didn't work out with them the first time.  Well, conveniently enough, Lana has just broken up with Jason, who, I must say, was getting pretty scary by this time.  Clark is horrified to learn that he was at fault for their stalled relationship, and he promises that "this time" will be different.  Lana is fairly taken aback.  "This time?"  We don't get to see the rest of the conversation.  So, as the episode comes to a close, Lois and the Sheriff woman see Clark use his powers and would have remembered it if Amnesia Boy hadn't zapped their memories.  Clark is appreciative.  He gets his memories back, but he does not remember anything from when he was Amnesia!Clark.  So, he still has no idea that Chloe knows about his powers and is totally cool with them, and he apparently doesn't remember that he and Lana made plans to discuss their relationship.  Slightly embarrassed, she's about to walk away, but Clark won't let her walk away again.  Even though he doesn't remember saying it before, he ends up saying that "this time will be different."  Lana is clearly affected by the fact that Clark said the exact same thing he did earlier, even though he has no memory of their earlier conversation.  It's a good effect, and it looks a lot like they are gonna give a relationship another try!  I could hardly breathe from all the squee.  In the end, Chloe tells Clark that the most surprising thing about Amnesia!Clark was that he made exactly the same decisions as normal Clark, except for one.  Nervously, Clark says "What did I do?"  Chloe looks him right in the eye and says evenly, "You trusted me."  BAM.  AWESOME.  Really great moment.  So, to recap, Lois is cool, Clark/Lois still have chemistry, Chloe rawks socks, and Clark/Lana is BACK in FULL FORCE.  SQUEE.
Alias: "A Clean Conscience"
Jack is dying!  Noooo!  Okay, so Sophia (the woman who raised Nadia and claimed to have seen Vaughn's father bringing Nadia to the orphanage when Nadia was just a baby) shows up in LA, all beat up and stuff.  I was excited about this because I was really hoping that someone would discuss the fact that Vaughn's father was connected to Nadia, but no one did.  Turns out that Sophia is actually Yelena Derevko, the missing third Derevko sister, and she's seriously evil.  No one but the audience knows this, though.  Weiss was hardly in the ep, if at all, and once again, Vaughn and Nadia had zero interaction.  This is getting ridiculous.  Oh, and nobody actually told us anything that juicy this ep.  That's next week, apparently.  OH!  Squick alert!  Sydney must impersonate her mother in an elaborate hypnotism to get some important information out of Jack.  Not enough eww in the world.  I can't even think about that.

Gilmore Girls: "But I'm a Gilmore!"
Have not yet been able to watch the tape.
One Tree Hill: "Lonesome Road"
Well, no Nathan/Taylor kiss.  But I think my 'shipper reflexes may be kicking in for N/T.  I was most definitely rooting for them to kiss.  Honestly, I started to actually like Nathan while he was hanging out with Taylor, and I never like Nathan.  It seems to me that she understand him a heck of a lot better than anyone thought.  She's also a heck of a lot more awesome than we all thought.  I think Nathan noticed.  They may not have kissed, but I think she made a real impression this time.  Hee!  The future of the Naley marriage is still up in the air.  Good.  Felix is gone to military school, Anna comes out to her parents, and Anna decides to go back to boarding school.  Brooke gets herself grounded for the first time in her life by Karen, Lucas and Andy try to get some damning evidence on Dan, Dan is too fast for them, Dan and Lucas still maintain a friendly facade even though they both know that the other is hiding things, and Lucas casually tells Brooke that he would do "anything for you," a sentiment that Brooke definitely doesn't miss.  Don't know how she interpreted it, but she certainly noticed.  Nikki puts the pressure on Jake, and she even tells him that he's not the father of Jenny, but he doesn't care.  Jake secretly sends Jenny away with Whitey, and he turns himself in to the police and goes to jail.  Peyton was heartbreaking when she thought that Jake was going to leave Tree Hill again; she offered to go with him, and he tells her she can't go with him.  So sad.  When it turns out that he willingly went to jail, she comes to visit him.  She tearfully tells him that she loves him, and he says he loves her too.  They've never said that before!  Squee!  But sad!  They touch each other's hand through the bullet-proof glass of the visiting booth.  I almost died.
Blind Justice: "Past Imperfect"
My God.  If there weren't so much Jim/Karen in this episode, I would have fallen asleep.  Lame-o plot about an old military buddy visiting Jim, and this buddy has some terrible secret.  They drag it out and drag it out, and it's just excruciatingly terrible.  Blah.  But it doesn't matter, because there is some awesome Jim and Karen stuff!  So, Jim meets with Nick (previously referred to as Slimy Friend Guy in my last review) and essentially gives him an ultimatum: tell Karen about your criminal history, or I will.  Jim does not mention the fact that the FBI is currently surveiling Nick for some possible current criminal activity.  Nick is really pissed and yells at Jim about how he and Karen have fallen hard for each other, and now Jim is going to screw it up.  "What, you got something for Karen, or what?" says Nick angrily.  Jim flatly says no, he's just looking out for his partner.  Nick leaves in a huff.  Later on in the episode, Karen gets a phone call from Nick.  It turns out that he dumps her over the phone with no real explanation, and Karen is really unhappy about it.  Jim is a little uncomfortable, thinking that it's his fault, but it just proves all the more that Nick is not a good guy.  He'd rather dump Karen than tell her the truth about his criminal record.  Much later, Karen ambushes Jim.  She found out from Nick that Jim was checking up on him, and she was really, really pissed that Jim didn't come to her first with the information.  Jim keeps trying to get Karen to tell him what Nick said exactly (i.e. did he tell you about his criminal record, his current criminal activity, etc.), but she won't let Jim get a word in edgewise.  She is so angry at him, she walks away from him at a crime scene and won't let him hold onto her arm so she can lead him.  Sad!  The episode ends with her still very mad at him.  Incidentally, during the episode, he finds out that Karen is half Puerto Rican.  He seems a tiny bit surprised that she didn't tell him that before.  "Why didn't I know that?"  NEXT WEEK: The Nick madness continues.  Nick asks Karen, "Did I step into the middle of something between you and your partner?" or something like that.  SQUEE!

Everwood: "Fallout"
Ugh.  Okay, so Amy is being super supportive, trying not to even breathe wrong around Ephram, and just ends up being a snot to her.  She does this research for him and finds out where he might be able to get information on where the baby ended up, and Ephram is grateful and goes there.  He gets the lady at this agency thing to take pity on him and illegally give him some info.  The kid is well taken care of, but Ephram is not satisfied.  He gets the stupid idea to go see the kid personally, and Amy tries to tactfully talk him out of it, but he's not listening to her, or anyone really.  Also, Amy busts her ass and some other people's asses to get Ephram another audition for Julliard, and he's like "oh wow, Amy, that's so great, thank you so much for doing that, that's so amazing of you...it's too bad I totally can't go because I'm rashly getting on a plane to find my kid and disrupt everything, what a bummer, huh?"  Amy loses her cool and tries to talk some sense into Ephram, that there's nothing else he can possibly do now, and he needs to take this opportunity to pursue his dream, and she's completely correct about this, but he just will not listen.  Then, it comes out that Amy found out about Madison's pregnancy just before Ephram left for New York, and she fully planned on talking to him about it after his audition because she didn't want anything to derail him from his dream (right again, Amy), but Ephram is a bastard and bites her head off for it.  He tells her that finding his kid is even more important than Amy is right now.  She was his only ally, and he kicks her to the curb.  ASS.  So, Ephram has succeeded in destroying every single relationship he had.  Hate him.  Meanwhile, Andy is caught off guard by the revelation that Nina and Jake are pretty serious in their relationship.  I was very happy to see that Andy was less than comfortable with this.  I think he's just now waking up to the idea that he needs Nina, and he didn't know how much.  Now, he might just lose her permanently to Dr. Dimples.  Hmmm.  In other news, Bright and Hannah are still friends because he hasn't realized that she is awesome and he should date her, so Hannah decides to go out with the Über-nerd Topher so, at Bright's urging, she can start really living her life.  Uh huh.

Star Trek: Enterprise: "In a Mirror, Darkly Pt. 1"
Well, due to scheduling snafus, it took a little longer for me to see this ep, but I did eventually.  So, the Mirror Universe was pretty cool, what with Mayweather's flat top and T'Pol's midriff and all.  I'm always a fan of the "what if" scenario, this one in particular being a "what if Zephram Cochrane killed the Vulcans at First Contact and stole their technology?" scenario.  Earth empire, warships, no self-righteous posturing from Archer...it was awesome.  Plus, flat tops!  Midriffs!  Trip Tucker, Phantom of the Starship!  He had this ugly scarring on the side of his face, and he still managed to be sexy.  So, the most important 'ship related stuff about this episode is that even though T'Pol seems to be completely loyal to Captain Forrest, she used Trip during her Pon Farr, and there is definitely some serious sexual tension there.  Too bad she had to betray him and use him to sabotage his own ship for us to see them making out.  So, cool episode, interesting MU T/T' stuff, and the next episode looks great, too.  Also, Archer/Hoshi?!  Who'd have thunk?

4/21/05
The O.C.: "The O.C. Confidential"
WELL now.  So it isn't really my overactive imagination reading into the Marissa/Trey interaction.  Hmm.  I love being right.  Anyhoo, Trey is in big trouble for confessing to bringing drugs he didn't bring, and Sandy and the others are scrambling to try and help him.  Trey says that he couldn't just stand there and let Marissa get hurt, that he couldn't help himself; he had to DO something.  I snickered when it turns out that Ryan, the guy who perpetually has feelings for Marissa, had the exact same instinct.  So, the kids and Sandy set up this big "sting" operation to catch the real drug dealer in the act.  Trey is appreciative, and Marissa, incidentally, puts herself at great personal risk to pull this off.  So, in the end, Trey is exonerated, the real culprit arrested, and all is once again put to right.  I was quite wary when the "face down in the pool" girl shows up at Trey's apartment to "talk," and Trey agrees that he's interested in "talking."  I think he really means just talking because he doesn't want to go back to jail, but I'm not 100% convinced.  In other barfworthy news, after dropping Trey off at his place at the end, Ryan and Marissa kiss.  Been there, done that.  What actually IS interesting about this event is that in the middle of making out with Ryan, Marissa pulls back and says that they can do better than the front seat of Sandy's car, and suggests they go back to Ryan's poolhouse.  Ryan happily agrees.  So, what is the interesting bit about this?  They are parked in front of Trey's apartment when this happens.  Does Marissa feel odd about kissing Ryan in front of Trey's place, as though she were worried that Trey might see them?  Why would it matter to her?  Gets me thinking. :D Next week: "You and Marissa Cooper?" someone asks Trey in surprise.  Looks like Marissa definitely comes to visit Trey again, without Ryan, and someone else is noticing the connection there.  Hmm.  Also, Kirsten prepares to seriously disappoint me.
Tru Calling: "Enough"
Well, even though Davis was adorably loyal to Tru in helping her no matter what, Luc II (Jensen) still lived anyway.  And Jensen's hair is the ugliest thing that ever died on anyone's head.  Just had to say it.  Also, I was quite annoyed at Davis' pouty plea to Tru that they tell Carrie the truth about Tru's gift just because Davis "cares about her."  Ugh.  Thank God Tru nixed that idea.  Carrie is teh devil.  So is Jack.  Tru would probably be in for some serious consequences for saving Jensen's life when he wasn't supposed to be saved if this show were to go on beyond this episode.  But it won't.  This was the last one, so none of this really matters.  Except for the fact that Jensen's hair is ugly, because that might still be true if Eric Christian Olsen hasn't gotten a haircut, God forbid.
ER: "Refusal of Care"
Well, since Carter/Abby is long since dead, I don't really have an official 'ship for this show.  I really do like Neela/Gallant a lot, but he's in Iraq again, so they don't really have a chance to interact.  I also really like Luka/Sam, and they were cute in this episode.  Luka is still nervous around Alex because of the whole throwing Alex's father out thing, but Sam encourages Luka to spend time with Alex even though he still seems to be angry.  Abby and that Jake guy were annoying.  There's just no chemistry.  Anyway, they spent the entire episode arguing over what Abby wanted Jake to call her in front of other people, i.e. "this is my girlfriend Abby," "this is Abby, my significant other," etc.  Sigh.  The ep was pretty good.  As much as I love to 'ship, I really enjoy this show when I can watch it just for the sake of it being a good show.  Susan was awesome this week, making a command decision to nourish a dying woman on a hunger strike, even though she had no legal right to go against the woman's wishes.  Pretty good ep.

Smallville: "Spirit"
Whoa.  Okay.  I need to regroup.  Just when I thought I was totally over Clark/Lana and fully committed to Clark/Lois, they decide to throw this curveball at me.  So, it's the Prom, and Chloe is nominated for Prom Queen.  Cute!  So, she has to go.  Clark and Lana both independently decide not to go, mostly because they had always planned to go together, but things didn't turn out the way they planned.  Lois, on the other hand, scoffs at the suggestion that she go to the high school Prom with Clark.  Well, after the Freak of the Week body-snatching popular bitch inhabits some bodies and wreaks a little havok, she inhabits Lois and gets Clark to take Possessed!Lois to the Prom.  I will say that watching Clark react to Lois all dressed up and pretty was kinda awesome.  He definitely gulped once or twice.  So they get to the Prom, and popular bitch leaves Lois and jumps into Chloe's body so she can accept the title of Prom Queen (Chloe wins!  Yay!).  Lois has no idea what she's doing at the Prom, and in the cleavage-baring dress she's wearing no less.  Clark doesn't have time to explain because he has to stop Possessed!Chloe from blowing up the school.  He does, of course, and popular bitch's spirit dissolves.  Good friendship moments for Chloe and Clark in this ep.  Anyway, afterward and back at the Prom, Clark kind of nervously and awkwardly tries to ask Lois to dance with him.  She smiles, but says that she's not the one that Clark wants to dance with.  Clark follows her gaze, and there is Lana, looking painfully gorgeous, arriving at the Prom despite her earlier ambivalence about going.  Clark goes over to her and asks, "May I have this dance?" She gladly accepts, and there ensues one of the most squee-worthy dances I've ever seen.  They don't kiss or even get close to it, but that's not what makes this dance so SQUEE.  As they dance, you can see and remember the way they used to be and why they were in love in the first place.  They held each other close, but a bit tentatively, and I just died.  Plus, there was eye-closing.  Oh, and Jason saw them.  Jason, as it turns out, is working with his evil mother on her evil schemes to get the stones, and he is, in fact, evil.  HOORAY, Jason is evil!  So, good Clark/Lois, good Clark/Lana, and I'm back to being really, really conflicted. :(
Alias: "Another Mister Sloane"
Okay.  Clearly, Sloane is Teh Evol.  Clearly.  Well, aside from it being a really interesting episode, what with the creepy Pseudo Sloane and all, there really wasn't much there.  The good news is that when they were all about to ambush the bad guys, Nadia and Vaughn were standing next to each other.  Of course, they were all about to be shot by the bad guys around the corner, but I think she whispered "Vaughn," and that's damn well good enough for me.  Yes, I am THAT sad.  Next week: Tell all!  Riiight...

4/19/05
Gilmore Girls: "To Live and Let Diorama"
The Good: Luke, wanting to buy a beautiful home for him and Lorelai to live in someday and raise a family, and he's willing to manipulate Taylor and the entire town to get it.  The Bad: Dean, being an ASS of the most annoying kind, telling Luke that Lorelai will get tired of Luke the same way that Rory got tired of Dean.  The Funny: Paris hanging out in Stars Hollow with Rory and running around barefoot demanding 50 cents of people so she can call Doyle on a pay phone.  The Slightly Encouraging: Logan seems to be losing interest in Rory, as he hasn't called her in weeks; perhaps after Rory stops crying on the bathroom floor over Logan, she'll remember that Marty is absolutely perfect for her.
One Tree Hill: "Something I Can Never Have"
Okay, forgive me if I am scattered or forget about some things because there was so much going on in this episode that it's hard to keep it all straight.  I will start with Lucas and Brooke.  It is immediately after the wedding, and Lucas is dropping her off.  He says flat out that she has to stay, he doesn't want her to leave.  She tearfully agrees that she doesn't want her to leave either.  They're just becoming friends again (or for the first time?), and she has to leave.  Sad, and cute, but sad!  Then, Anna figures out that Felix was the one that defaced Peyton's locker with the word "dyke," and she tells Peyton, who in turn tells Brooke, who in turn almost violently breaks up with Felix (HOORAY!), who then gets into trouble and is going to be sent off to military school because Anna turned him in to the principal.  So, Brooke is single once again!  She tries out the idea of staying with Peyton on her parents, and they don't go for it.  She is just about to despair and give up when Lucas (who is going to continue living with Dan so he can destroy him eventually) surprises Brooke with his old room at Karen's house, now full of her things and ready for her to live in.  Lucas and Karen convinced Brooke's parents to let her stay with Karen, and Brooke is beside herself with gratitude.  She gives Lucas this great HUG, and I almost died of the squee.  Meanwhile, Peyton is about to murder Nikki.  She worries that Jake will take off and she'll lose him all over again.  As it turns out, Andy offers to help Jake get custody of Jenny once and for all.  Jake tells a worried Peyton that he's not going to run anymore, especially now that it's not just Jake and Jenny, it's Jake and Jenny and...Peyton.  She was so happy.  And poor Keith.  The guy has gone off the deep end. :(  So, to recap: Peyton and Jake are better than ever, and Lucas and Brooke are definitely in a great position to get together sometime soon.  On a side note, Haley FINALLY realizes (too late) what a mistake it was for her and Nathan to get married, and the future of their marriage is uncertain (YAY).  Next week: will Nathan and Haley's sister (whose name, I really am sorry to say, I can't remember right now for the life of me) KISS?!  I am so pissed that I'm not a Cingular Wireless customer.  Otherwise, I'd be voting very frequently for Nathan and Haley's sister to make out like there's no tomorrow.
Blind Justice: "Leap of Faith"
Oh my.  So, ep itself was pretty interesting; a murder turns out to be a suicide, but the guy who was framed for it being a murder should have gone to prison anyway for being a despicable guy in general.  Yeah.  Anyway, so right at the beginning, Karen and Jim talk about this retirement party that all the cops are going to, and there is a bit of an awkward conversation about Karen wanting to meet Jim's wife.  Then, Jim worms it out of Karen that she is bringing a date, and he is pest about it, calling the guy her "boyfriend," and she keeps insisting that they are just friends.  It was cute, and kinda funny.  Later, at the party, Jim and Rena Sofer (what the hell is her character name?  Christie?  Do I care?) meet Karen and her friend whose name I can't remember, but I thought he looked a little slimy.  I really think that the first meeting between Karen and Rena Sofer was awkward, and why wouldn't it be?  This is the woman that spends most her time with Jim holding tightly to her arm and occasionally drawing on his face.  I just have to say that I get such a kick out of Jim holding onto Karen all the time.  Squee.  Anyway, at the party, Karen and Rena Sofer are sitting by themselves, trying to have a conversation.  Karen resorts to complementing Rena's earrings for lack of anything else to say, and that sort of gets the conversation going.  Meanwhile, on the other end of the room, Jim and Slimy Friend Guy are talking, and Slimy Friend says that Karen was nervous about Jim and Slimy Friend meeting, because she really wants Jim to approve or something.  Jim assures Slimy Friend that as long as he doesn't have a warrant out on him, they're cool.  Jim then says that Karen is watching them, isn't she?  And sure enough, Karen is subtly watching the two of them from across the room.  Jim knows her very well if he can guess that without seeing her.  Hee!  Okay, so as it turns out, we learn from another cop friend of Jim's that Slimy Friend Guy is under suspicion for criminal activity, and he is being surveiled!  Ohnoes!  Jim wrestles with telling Karen, and in the end, he doesn't say anything.  He just doesn't want to hurt her.  Cute!  Can't wait for next week!

4/18/05
Everwood: "Fate Accompli"
Well, I knew it.  Madison finally manages to tell Ephram about the baby, and it screws him up but good.  It turns out that she had the baby, it was a boy, and she gave him up for adoption.  Ephram is furious and blames her, and she is beside herself, poor thing.  She doesn't tell him that Andy made her go away and not tell Ephram anything.  Andy does later though, because he doesn't want Ephram to blame poor Madison for the mess.  Ephram ditches his Julliard audition, as I knew he would, and begins the process of punishing his father and pushing everyone away.  In the end, he comes to Amy's house and is surprised that she isn't mad or upset with him.  It seems to me that she couldn't love him more.  Ephram says that he is really messed up right now, and he needs help.  Amy says they'll get through it together, and offers her hand.  He takes it.  I almost cried.  Nina wasn't in the episode.  I wonder what will happen to Andy now.  Next Week: Ephram does his best to destroy his one remaining relationship (with Amy), and Amy's parents think that it's too painful for Amy to be with Ephram.  Ugh.

4/15/05
Star Trek: Enterprise: "Bound"
HOLY CRAP.  So, the majority of the episode centered around mostly naked women with green skin and the human males who were falling all over themselves to get to them (including the captain).  Gross.  However, Trip is back on Enterprise for good!  Yay!  But I'm getting ahead of myself.  So, first T'Pol casually comes to engineering to ask Trip, essentially, if he's been having vivid daydreams involving her.  Trip cheekily denies it.  Okay, fine.  Orion women try to blow up the engine, and Trip has to fix it.  T'Pol comes to engineering to help with the repairs.  Trip, as it turns out, is immune to the Orion women's pheromones.  Why, he wonders?  Oh, it might have something to do with me, T'Pol says.  What?  When a Vulcan mates--  Trip objects to the word "mates," even though that's exactly what they did back in "Harbinger."  Anyhoo, T'Pol explains that there is a psychic bond between them now, and her immunity is carrying over to Trip.  Suddenly, Trip now admits to having the daydreams about T'Pol, and it becomes clear to both of them that they are bonded.  Hmm.  So, some stuff happens on the ship, Trip shoots a few fellow officers, and then everything is put right.  T'Pol makes a couple jokes in sickbay, and Archer comments that some of Trip's bad habits are rubbing off on her.  Ha, and ha.  Trip and T'Pol then walk together down the corridor, and Trip says they make a pretty good team.  T'Pol says yeah, we do, and you are really good with those engines and stuff.  Trip then tells her to come out and say it.  You want me to come back.  T'Pol continues to dodge, saying that his presence would be beneficial to the operations of the ship.  No T'Pol, you want me to come back.  She still won't admit it, and he turns to leave, exasperated.  Finally, she calls out to him: "Trip!"  He turns around.  "I want you to come back."  Now he is being obstinate.  "And I'll think about it."  She calls him Trip again, and walks over to stop him from leaving, and she grabs him and KISSES HIM!  Eeeeeeee!  Anyway, Trip says that he asked for a transfer back to Enterprise three days ago.  He knows that Enterprise is where he belongs, and the thing between him and T'Pol "wasn't that big of a deal," and she agrees.  He saunters off, saying they've got a lot of work to do, and I daresay T'Pol actually looks...happy.  Squee.

4/14/05
The O.C.: "The Rager"
Okay, are they trying to make me crazy?  I think they might be.  So, Ryan is still mad at Trey for the whole crystal egg debacle from last week, and Marissa is trying to get him to forgive Trey.  She reminds him that Trey's birthday is on Saturday, and she wants to throw him a party at her house.  Ryan is irked by this, mostly because he doesn't want her meddling in his relationship with his brother, but I think he also wants to know why she all-fire cares so much about Trey.  I'm kinda wondering that myself.  Ryan, of course, follows Trey later and thinks he sees him buying drugs.  Ryan accuses Trey, and Ryan is wrong.  Now everyone is mad at each other.  So, Marissa (on separate occasions) visits Trey's new place (Alex's old place, and that's still a little strange for me) and gives him a housewarming present of a lava lamp, and then on his birthday, she comes to his place and practically kidnaps him under the guise of taking him out for his birthday.  She is really taking him to the party at her house.  Ryan and Trey forgive each other, Marissa is happy about it.  Random people start showing up for the party, and things quickly get out of hand.  Finally, some girl almost drowns because she passed out from drugs or something, and the cops are gonna arrest Marissa for it because it's her house that the party was at.  They are just about to put the cuffs on her when Trey suddenly claims that he gave the girl the drugs.  They arrest him instead, and I really don't think he did it.  I think he just did it to save Marissa from being arrested.  Okay, there is too much happening between Trey and Marissa for this to be a coincidence.  I think I'm starting to 'ship, and the O.C. TPTB have only themselves to blame.  Oh, and Summer and Seth were having their usual annoying, tired drama over his silly comic boo--oh, excuse me, I mean graphic novel and Connie Moreau from the Mighty Ducks films.  Bo-ring.  Summer and Ryan didn't say two words to each other.
Tru Calling: "The Last Good Day"
I cannot believe that some people think there is, like, tension between Jack and Tru.  I just can't see her being attracted to a murderer.  So, I feel better now that I know Carrie is evil and won't be hanging around Davis for long.  Tru and Davis did their usual pow wow on how to proceed during the rewind day, and it was interesting this time because Tru sort of traded places with Jack.  Sadly, Tru kissed Luc II, otherwise known as Jensen.  Even so, it looks like he might bite the dust next week. :)
ER: Still a repeat.

4/13/05
Smallville: "Onyx"
Eww.  Okay, so boring episode overall.  Lex has an accident involving some iradiated meteor rock, he splits into the two halves of his personality (one bad, one simpering weakling).  Bad!Lex goes running around wreaking havok on Smallville, and NO ONE can figure out why he's acting so very, very badly.  That is, until Chloe does some illegal hacking and realizes the truth.  Didn't that happen last time on "Smallville" too?  Never mind, the last new episode was too long ago to even remember.  Anyway, so Lex is BAD, and before he is properly put back with his other self, he tries to extort Lana into being his girlfriend!  Yuck!  He comes to her Talon apartment and flirts like hell just before kissing her.  She pushes him away soon enough that I'm still fairly certain that she doesn't like him back.  He tells her that she has to be his girlfriend, or he'll close the Talon and kick her out.  Shudder.  It was horrifying enough watching Lex kiss Lana.  Lois wasn't even in the episode (sad!), and there were some nice friendship moments for Chloe and Clark.  I'm dying for her to tell him that she knows about his secret.  Next Week: Dear God no!  It's the Prom!
Alias: "Pandora"
Okay, so Vaughn goes all rogue to find out about his father, and even though he learns that his father is actually dead and has been dead all this time and it was all a setup, he shoots Dixon in the process.  Ohnoes!  Anyway, I am frustrated because there seems to be no breaking Syd/Vaughn up anytime soon, if ever.  They're stubbornly holding on to that stagnant relationship, it seems.  So, once again, Vaughn and Nadia were never even in the same room.  Hey, at least Sydney and Weiss had a conversation alone.  Weiss knew that Sydney was really worried about something because of the way she was cleaning the sink.  Cute!  I swear, JJ Abrams had an opportunity to develop this pair way back in season three when she was single and he was single, and he missed the boat completely.  Ugh.  Still waiting for more development on the connection between Vaughn and Nadia.

No new One Tree Hill this week.
Blind Justice: "Seoul Man"
Hmm.  Korean honor killings?  Disgruntled ex-Army thugs?  I guess.  Aside from this being a somewhat boring episode (that is, except for the part near the end where Jim and that asshole detective nearly came to blows; I sooo wanted Jim to just pop him one), there were some interesting moments between Karen and Jim.  Jim was being all "messed up" about a perp getting away because Jim is blind and couldn't see the guy, and Karen got fed up with Jim pretending to be totally fine with the situation.  To paraphrase, she told him that she wasn't sure she could trust his judgement on the case because of his personal feelings.  Of course, it turns out she could trust him, but that's beside the point.  The point is that she confronted him and made him be honest.  I LOVE when she does that.  Also, at one point in the ep, they're about to leave a crime scene, and Jim is cranky and wants to walk without her help and just use his cane.  She rolls her eyes and says "How are you gonna find the car?"  And of course, he takes her arm as always.  'Twas cute.  Rena Sofer was back (briefly, thank God), and she's working late AGAIN.  I swear she's cheating on him with that boss guy.  Oh, and they had Karen in a pink shirt at one point, as if to say "see?  she's a girl, we swear!"  So odd.  Overall, good interaction between Jim and Karen as partners, plus a little time devoted to developing them as friends.  I like.  Just no more pink shirts, okay?

The O.C.: "The Risky Business"
Well, I like to call this episode "We Ran Out of Ideas Already?!"  Basically, we're rehashing the same old plots from last season: Ryan and Marissa have lots of tension before falling into each other's arms and making out a lot, and Summer and Seth fight frequently.  Same old, same old.  With one minor exception: Trey, Ryan's older and very dangerous brother.  Trey is an ex-con who is trying to start a new life in Newport (why?  I don't know), and Marissa offers to help him find an apartment.  What a coincidence!  Her ex-girlfriend's place is vacant, so why doesn't Trey move in there?  She'll give him the money for it and everything!  Pretty much, that was the only remotely interesting part of the ep.  I'm interested to see if Trey and Marissa have any more interaction.  It's not a 'ship, but hey, I'll take anything over the barf-worthy Ryan/Marissa crap.  Oh, and I'm still waiting on my Ryan/Summer development. :)
Tru Calling: "In The Dark"
Very interesting episode, I must say.  In the process of trying to figure out who to save, Tru and Davis have a major fight.  There was definitely some good anger!tension going on during their disagreement about who needed saving.  It's not sexual!tension yet, but they've still got three episodes left to do something about that.  Plus, it was Tru's birthday, and Davis was all cute with the symbolic gifting of hats for her, and she was all cute and appreciative.  I am SO freaking pissed that FOX cancelled this show.
No new ER this week.
