Gilmore Girls Season 7 Premiere: "The Long Morrow"
7.01: This is the last review of Gilmore Girls I will be doing, barring some kind of miracle down the line, which I doubt will come.  I don't know any of these characters anymore.  They're all pod people, terrible individuals who replaced the friends I used to know and love.  I'm just done.  So, Lorelai slept with Christopher, and even though Luke came to her and told her his life wasn't real without her and that he's sorry he took so long to be ready to marry her and he's ready now, she still told him that she slept with Christopher and it's over.  Luke is brokenhearted and Lorelai is a bitch.  But this is partially Luke's fault, too.  If he hadn't stalled and kept Lorelai at arm's length over his daughter and dragged his feet about marrying her, this wouldn't have happened at all.  But at any rate, I'm finished.  Sorry.

Gilmore Girls: "To Live and Let Diorama"
The Good: Luke, wanting to buy a beautiful home for him and Lorelai to live in someday and raise a family, and he's willing to manipulate Taylor and the entire town to get it.  The Bad: Dean, being an ASS of the most annoying kind, telling Luke that Lorelai will get tired of Luke the same way that Rory got tired of Dean.  The Funny: Paris hanging out in Stars Hollow with Rory and running around barefoot demanding 50 cents of people so she can call Doyle on a pay phone.  The Slightly Encouraging: Logan seems to be losing interest in Rory, as he hasn't called her in weeks; perhaps after Rory stops crying on the bathroom floor over Logan, she'll remember that Marty is absolutely perfect for her.

Gilmore Girls: "One Has Class and the Other One Dyes"
Lane dyed her hair!  Funny!  Anyway, Rory is still pining over Jess and pretending she and Dean are doing wonderfully.  Jess yells at Luke about waiting around for Lorelai to wake up and decide she wants him.  Once again, nothing major happened, but we did get the aforementioned fight between Jess and Luke.  Luke's gears are turning, that's for sure. :)

Gilmore Girls: "Application Anxiety"
Nothing much happening still.  Rory freaks out about Harvard, they go to an alumni's house, and that's pretty much it.  I was kinda bored, actually.  Almost literally no Luke/Lorelai goodness.  No Jess, either.

10/1/02
Gilmore Girls: "Haunted Leg"
Nothing much is going on right now.  Emily tries to pry into Lorelai's love life and ends up in a huge fight about Christopher.  He then shows up and fights with Lorelai and Rory.  In the end, they simply force themselves to come to terms with the fact that Christopher is probably going to marry Sherry and take care of the baby and that's it.  Meanwhile, Jess tells Rory he's mad that she ignored him all summer.

Gilmore Girls: "Those Lazy-Hazy-Crazy Days"
Holy cow!  Okay so, Lorelai is having dreams about being in love with Luke and being his wife and having his babies!  HOOOORAY!  Rory is back with Dean, but she's really upset about the girl that Jess is sucking face with.  Christopher is gone taking care of Sherry, and Lorelai is upset about it.  So, basically Lorelai and Rory are both in denial as to who they really want to be with.  Can't wait for the rest of the season!

Gilmore Girls episode: "Help Wanted"
News: Erm, Luke was kind of gone for the entire episode, and the only thing that was remotely shippy was the fact that Lorelai didn't want to talk about the fight that she and Luke got into.  Hmm, maybe next week's will be better.  Or worse.

4/30/02
Gilmore Girls episode: "Teach Me Tonight"
News: Erm, nothing good.  Luke and Lorelai are now officially fighting.  And it's all Jess' fault.  If he hadn't shown up, he wouldn't have messed with Rory, and Lorelai and Luke might be smooching right now!  OH, and CHRISTOPHER is back.  Bad news, folks.  Real bad.

4/23/02
Gilmore Girls episode: "Back In The Saddle Again"
News: Hmm.  Not really anything for Luke/Lorelai this time.  And things to come don't look too promising, either.  Luke and Lorelai will get into a feud of sorts over the whole Jess/Rory thing.  Grr.

4/16/02
Gilmore Girls episode: "Dead Uncles And Vegetables"
News: Wooooooohoooooo!  Finally, something of note!  Luke's uncle dies, and Lorelai is right there with him, assuring him that he won't end up a miserable, lonely old man.  Their interaction was friendly and adorable enough, but it is Emily Gilmore that provides the true gem in the episode.  She mentions that Lorelai will be having her wedding reception in the diner because she will inevitably end up marrying Luke.  Lorelai, of course, firmly denies that she and Luke are anything but good friends, but Emily persists, saying quite petulantly that Luke and Lorelai are a "match made in heaven."  HA!  It was a really fun episode.  I enjoyed it very much.

Gilmore Girls episode: "There's The Rub"
News: For the first time in a very long time, a new episode.  It was extremely entertaining watching Lorelai and Emily banter and fight and joke.  "Vicious Trollop," indeed.  Rory and Paris are friends again.  What does any of this have to do with Luke/Lorelai shippiness?  Nothing.  That's because the whole ep was devoid of L/L goodness.  Next week's ep looks much more promising, however!

2/26/02
Gilmore Girls episode: "Lost and Found"
News: Ooooh, Lorelai pretended to be Luke's wife while she was helping him look for an apartment!  She was hanging all over him and touching him in little tickle-y places.  Adorable, and he was getting very uncomfortable.  Then, when he was freaking out about whether he ought to buy the apartment or not, she told him to 'go for it, take a shot, make a move', and I got very excited.  I thought for a second that he might kiss her...or something.  He didn't, but it was still a wonderful episode, and very funny!

2/12/02
Gilmore Girls episode: "It Should've Been Lorelai"
News: Wow.  Lorelai is finally going to move beyond Christopher.  This is big stuff.  Luke was adorable with the concern for Lorelai.  He was a really great friend in this episode.  I love their friendship, and I think it bodes well for their romantic future.

2/5/02
Gilmore Girls episode: "A-Tisket, A-Tasket"
News: Luke and Lorelai went on a date!  Well, kind of.  She forced him to buy her basket so she wouldn't have to picnic with one of the other yucky guys trying to buy it.  It was adorable though.  They both admitted that it was "nice."  Hinty, foreshadowy things were said.  It was a really good episode, but I'm worried about the return of Christopher next week.  When is that guy going to really leave and stay gone?

1/29/02
Gilmore Girls episode: "Richard in Stars Hollow"
News: Well, there was a short bit between Lorelai and her mother concerning Lorelai's marriage prospects.  Luke was mentioned as one of them.  Hee!  Also, Luke bought her a grapefruit and was generally very cute with her.  Nice episode, but next week is gonna be even better!
