Ross and Rachel

Ross and Rachel were the first of the friends to become an item. Even though they aren’t together at the minute, many friends fans still sees them as a couple. These two have been through it all together! We’ve had marriage, break-ups, and moments when we thought they were going to get back together! Well this page is all about them so lets get to it…

Before they got together…

From the first ever episode of friends, we knew that Ross liked Rachel! He had liked her since she was in high school and she knew this. In TOW the prom video we see that when he thought Rachel wasn’t going to have a date for the prom, he was going to take her and as he came down the stairs and saw that her date had arrived, we all got a lump in our throught’s!

In the first episode Ross asked Rachel if it would be okay to ask her out and she said yes! This is the last we heard of her feelings for him but we still saw the feelings that Ross had for her when she met Paulo! Finally Rachel found out that Ross liked her and she realised that she liked him so after he had been away on a business trip she went to meet him off the plane, only to find that he had found someone else! Awww! Then we have TOW Ross finds out where they finally kiss! Ross then has to decide whether he wants to be with Rachel or Julie and he ruins his chances by making a list, which Rachel sees! They finally get together after Rachel sees the video of the prom!

Now…

After Rachel got her new job with Mark, Ross started to get jealous and thought that Rachel was sleeping with Mark behind his back! Rachel started to get sick of all the jealousy and arguments and on their 1st anniversary Rachel said that they should take a break! This lead to Ross going out to a party and sleeping with Chloe, the girl from the copy place! Rachel then wanted to get back with Ross and she came to his apartment, while Chloe was still there! Ross managed to hide Chloe but this didn’t stop Gunther from spilling the beans and telling all to Rachel! This lead to the final break up of the two!

Then, in TO at the beach, Rachel admitted that she still loves Ross and that she wants to get back together with him. We were then left with the cliffhanger of who does Ross choose as he was also there with his new girlfriend, Bonnie! We see in TOW the jellyfish that he does choose Rachel and when he goes to tell Bonnie the bad news, Rachel write him a letter which she wants him to read before anything else can happen! By the way, the letter was 18 pages – front and back! Ross fell asleep while reading the letter and didn’t read the part that asks if he can accept responsibility for their break-up and does it sound like something he could do, does it? Ross says it does even though he doesn’t have a clue what he is saying this to and later finds out! He then tells Rachel and they argue and split up again!

Then…

…Ross meets Emily and they decide to get married! Rachel says that she doesn’t mind even though we all know that she does! While the rest of the friends are in London at the wedding (well all except Phoebe who is having her brothers babies!) Rachel realises that she is still in love with Ross and goes to London to tell him how she feels! When she gets there she realises that she can’t ruin his wedding and just says ‘congratulations’. Then when Ross is supposed to say ‘take thee Emily’…guess what! He says Rachel instead! This leads to Emily running away! She then tells Ross that if he wants to stay with her then he mustn’t see Rachel ever again! Ross agrees to this but then realises that he can’t do it and tells Emily this! They then get divorced!

Las Vegas…

The gang take a trip to Las Vegas in the season 5 finale! This leads to Ross and Rachel getting very, VERY drunk and then going to get married! They don’t realise what they have done till the morning after when their friends tell them! Rachel wants a divorce but Ross doesn’t want to be divorced 3 times! He tells Rachel that he got the divorce even though he hasn’t, which she eventually finds out about and he has to go through with it!

The future…

Well who knows what will happen between the pair! Could they get back together? Will they meet someone else? Who knows?! It’s friends and anything could happen!
