Avoiding skatepark fees (Vans)

Many skaters today are faced with a common dilemma. Skatepark fees. How can they be avoided? The Thrift Store Vampires (who?) have some ideas. At Vans parks its easy to get in without paying. The cheapest is to pad up in full gear, get your face a little wet to look sweaty and then set off an alarm in the back area somewhere. These places are so loud that no one will care. Which is why you approach the gatekeeper and direct them to the alarm. Its important to act annoyed. They will be annoyed too and will leave their post to shut it off. You go skate. This works better if you can spring for a buddy to get in first. Then we he or she hears the alarm go off they will be able to get to the gatekeeper from inside. Make sure that the guy about to enter is nowhere near the unguarded entrance. Or, keep a sample of the receipt paper and font.
