In 1981, Crane Tolliver, Lila's first husband, came to town and revealed that their divorce never was finalized.
When daughter-in-law Monica kicked out Lila and all of the Quartermaines in 1986, Lila made a mint off her relish recipe, Pickle-lila.
After Edward's death, Lila continued to talk to his portrait - and it talked back!
Lila was reunited with Edward in 1991. Rumors of his death had been more than exaggerated; they'd been wrong!
