Mike Corbin lives with the regret of abandoning his son, Sonny Corinthos, as a child. He feels that his leaving pushed Sonny into his current dangerous profession. Mike's efforts to re-build a relationship with Sonny often backfire as he pushes too hard for his still skeptical son.
Mike has had a very checkered past although he does seem to have settled down a bit lately. Always looking a quick buck, Mike enjoys poker games and betting at the horse track. Mike also enjoys the company of his girlfriend, Tammy Carson.
Mike is the co-owner of the Recovery Room.
